We went for a late lunch and we were absoutely thrilled with mama africa’s food. It was so delicious, spicy and the portiones were more than generous. We tried fried plantain, fufu with meat and jollof rice with turkey. Thank you ♥️

The restaurant is known for its authentic African cuisine. The women are very friendly and helpful but unfortunately had to wait a very long time for the food, which wasn't the right thing either. Then after a while the real food came. If you go out to eat there you have to take your time with you. But the food was lovely and very well done. Spicy dishes can also be made without being spicy and the African beer tasted very good.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't really tasty and there was a noticeable lack of spices. The waiter was very friendly and did his best, but that's not enough for a reasonable and authentic restaurant. An effort has been made visually, but the placement of the tables is sometimes rather awkward. Overall, I give it three stars, but I recommend not eating there and instead just stopping by for a drink, as the staff really tries hard.

It was a really great atmosphere, nice staff and, above all, great food. We would love to come back when we are in Cologne.

Food was TOPPPPP, quality of all dishes is A1 and delicious. Music, location and conditions simply perfect.

Madame Croissant is a real insider tip! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed breakfast or a leisurely afternoon with friends. The croissants are heavenly – crispy on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside, just the way they should be. The selection of other French baked goods and coffee specialties also leaves nothing to be desired. The service is friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience authentic French patisserie!
