Very nice restaurant. Great service, great food as a restaurant and also as a meal on the go (fish rolls).

Considered one of the best restaurants on the island and it's definitely not bad, but nothing exceptional in my opinion. The food is good but nothing special and the service is northern German-charming. A visit is certainly not a waste of money but if you don't get a reservation (and this is absolutely necessary even out of season) you don't have to be sad.

Fish sandwiches and beer, perfect

Udo's Fischerhütte impresses with a long tradition and freshly caught fish, but unfortunately our expectations remained unfulfilled. The plaice was rather disappointing in terms of taste and there weren't enough side dishes (potatoes). It would have been nice to have had a note when ordering that it was not a fillet and that there would be bones. The cod was OK, but not prepared enough to give it 5 stars. The self-service area offers the same offerings as the serviced area, but at identical prices. Overall, we expected more of the often praised quality.

Cute little self-service restaurant. From fish sandwiches to lunch menus, everything is available. There is also fresh fish to take away. All in all, highly recommended!

A wonderful atmosphere with the best food and therefore always worth a visit. The 3rd visit in 3 years and still the same quality. Something like this is rare and very commendable!

I'm sorry, but I can't understand all these good reviews. We came here because of this and I was really disappointed. The fish on my fish platter was fried to death, making it dry and not seasoned (tasteless). The fried fish looked the same on every plate. I doubt that fresh fish is used here, but given the prices I expect that. We definitely won't be eating here again. There are much better restaurants nearby.

Very idyllic location on the beach. Unfortunately it's self-service here, which was a bit disappointing because the prices were just like in a real restaurant. Unfortunately the food was not what you would expect from a fish restaurant. It's a shame about the raw materials and the fish, unfortunately it was cooked to death! The pesto was homemade but ultimately just chopped greens... And the shrimp in the pasta had also been counted... The fried potatoes were swimming in fat and were covered in onions that weren't quite cooked. Very tasteless, what a shame!

Since the reviews were great, we stopped by here. Although there was a lot of staff on site even in November, we didn't understand that there was self-service in the outdoor area because the prices were the same as in the main building. The staff were all very nice, but we didn't find the food to be above average like everyone posts here. There is no reason for us to eat here again and unfortunately we cannot recommend it, but there are other restaurants that are more recommendable.

Ok for a quick snack in the winter garden with radiant heaters, the herring tasted good, completely self-service, but a bit too expensive for that.

We had a bite to eat here at midday in the off-season and are very happy with our choice! Uwe's fish stew is what you would expect from a down-to-earth fish soup on the coast, pasta with scampi is fine, and the fried herring is also very good. The menu offers a variety of fish dishes, but also other delicious dishes. The fact that there is quick self-service didn't bother me at all. With the beeper this is a perfect technical solution. The food was ready before I had the drinks at the table. The price-performance ratio is completely okay.

Found a place in the winter garden for dinner. You order in the hut next door and get a pager. The selection of food, especially Fiscv, is sensational. The price is unbeatable! Unfortunately that's not true for the drinks prices. The waitresses were very nice. We sat until late. Was very comfortable. There is also an oven in the winter garden. Toilets are modern and very clean. You can also take your food or fish sandwiches with you and eat them on a bench on the promenade. Our portions arrived very quickly, were fresh and delicious. And very plentiful!!!

Mega tasty and very cozy, friendly staff, will come back next year, at least once :)

We have been guests on Usedom several times a year for years and have been to Uwe's Fi Schütte on almost every visit. Til today! One of our children was diagnosed with celiac disease. You should therefore not eat anything that contains gluten or has come into contact with gluten. French fries, for example, can also contain gluten. Today, as always, we wanted to eat something at Uwe's Fi Schütte. Since we haven't eaten there since the diagnosis, we wanted to find out before ordering whether the French fries were gluten-free and whether other offerings could be prepared gluten-free - like we did We do this at all restaurants, regardless of whether we know it or are guests for the first time. The employee who takes the guests' orders answers the question about the French fries with "Yes". When I asked what that meant, yes or no and whether she could ask in the kitchen, the answer was "Then probably no" in a tone that was unfortunately anything but friendly and guest-oriented. As always, the sound makes the music and unfortunately it was anything but friendly and open. She didn't even comply with the request to ask in the kitchen. Fortunately, we know this differently from other restaurants on the island. If you treat your little guests like that, then unfortunately we won't be able to come back. Such an unpleasant moment destroyed years of good experience. We will no longer visit this restaurant nor will we recommend it to our friends or anyone else.

Fried potatoes, schnitzel with fried egg and coleslaw... in Uwe's Fischerhütte Ahlbeck this meal tastes absolutely delicious!!!! Should I be in Ahlbeck again, my feet will definitely take me back to this self-service restaurant with very friendly and attentive service staff.

This time we were there just to take fish to take home. Smoked fish, fried herring for grandma as a souvenir. Im tasty and fresh.

Quaint inn with first-class service, modern technology and delicious food. If you're just expecting a fish sandwich stand in the dunes, you'll get your money's worth, but Uwe has been investing for decades and should ask himself why Gault-Milaut or Michelin haven't found their way to him yet. We were there with 7 people and everything went well and, above all, tasted good. The service was very friendly and nothing was left to be desired. The alternative to the buffet in the hotel. Many thanks to the whole team, including Locke behind the tap! 😇

Fried potatoes soggy, fish very good, everything fresh, good quality. but very little, price performance for self-service not ok. There are really nice restaurants with service for the money. This Pomeranian sauce was strange. Certainly a matter of taste. But for me it's too intense for the fine fish taste. I'm also wondering what the sauce is like. It will turn dark brown, perhaps the cook can provide information on this. :) the broth is definitely from other fish. Such a quantity of sauce certainly cannot be cooked otherwise. Otherwise it's pretty nice there. Staff also very friendly. There is also enough space. However, it is difficult with a stroller.

We arrived in the enclosed outdoor area, well frozen. Heat was generated there by a wood stove, which made the whole thing very pleasant. A delicious plum cinnamon punch with delicious matjes and fried fish rolls rounded the whole thing off.

The shop is buzzing, you can just barely get a seat without pre-ordering...uncomplicated and courteous service...large selection of dishes...and then the prices are right too.

The price was reasonable and we were impressed by both the taste and quality. The fish sandwich was very tasty and freshly prepared. Despite the time (4:30 p.m.), the restaurant was already busy, which speaks for the popularity of the restaurant. We'll definitely come back - but then for dinner to try the warm cuisine.

A great fish hut, I haven't eaten such a great fish dish for a long time. As a "starter" we had shrimps with baguette...and as a main course we had golden perch with herb mash and spicy carrots and white cabbage salad. Super tasty. Thanks again to the chef And the service staff was also super nice. Really great location.....

We go to the island of Usedom every year. Are in Ahlbeck or Ückeritz. And it's a must to eat at Uwe's Fischerhütte. It's always delicious and well attended. It is highly recommended.

Some recent reviews agree with my impression. I was here for the first time ten years ago and remembered Uwe's Fischerhütte well, which made me want to go here again and I was disappointed. The Hamburger Schnitzel was burnt and was probably on top of the fried potatoes so that you couldn't see how burnt they were. There were carrots on the golden perch fillet... When I make Morosche soup for my dog, the carrots have to cook for 90 minutes. It was the same consistency. In addition: if a fish restaurant does not have fish cutlery and only serves normal cutlery, it is just a better snack bar.

We absolutely cannot understand the positive reviews. The fish tasted of nothing and was riddled with bones. The fried fish was definitely not fresh and was pre-fried. This definitely comes from the factory and not from our own catch. All the pieces looked the same. I can get something like this frozen at the supermarket for a fraction of the money. You get your own food and sit at sticky tables that obviously don't even get wiped down between meals. Some tables are located close to the toilets. Every time you opened the door you were met with the smell of the toilet. Comparable in price to Gosch, absolute disaster in terms of quality. We paid almost 100 euros for 3 times of fried fish and once of plaice with 4 drinks. The portions are also small and there were more side dishes than fish on the plate. The side dishes are cheap and disgusting tasting bagged products. Unfortunately, we were guided by the countless positive reviews. Well, like so many, these were probably simply bought. There were four of us and all four were disappointed. That was definitely the first and last time we visited Uwe's fishing hut. This shop probably only survives because of passing tourism. Therefore definitely NOT a recommendation from us. However, if you are looking for cheap food for expensive money with mass processing, you will be well served here.

If you love fish, you've come to the right place - everything is perfect, service, cleanliness and food. I can recommend it 😉

We expected a lot and paid a lot. We cannot understand the price-performance ratio in Uwe's Fischerhütte. The explanation probably lies in the location... you don't need to make any effort... the guests come because of the location. The service staff are very friendly. It was definitely not enough for the money for us. For this reason we prefer to drive a few meters further.

Very nice little fish bar. Food was super delicious. Very narrow, but very clean and modern toilets.

I only ate fried fish, but it was delicious and the ambience was great. A Bullerjan oven was turned on and it was raining, so the atmosphere was of course great, yes and the food was of course delicious, absolutely recommended and the prices were right 😉

Here I got the best herring I've ever had the pleasure of eating, you can tell that everything from catching to pickling and finally cooking is done in one hand. Even a simple home-style dish can put a smile on your face here. The rest, the very attentive and friendly service as well as the ambience are absolutely perfect here. We weren't here for the last time!

We've been coming here on vacation for years and were really disappointed today. Sat in self-service. Gluing the tables - we helped ourselves with our own Desi cloths and as long as we were sitting, none of the waitresses waved a rag. The beloved fried potatoes were mashed potatoes today and the waitress for the drinks was annoyed because I didn't grab them straight away. We would have easily rated the visits over the years with 4-5 in all points, but today unfortunately only 3 :(

We have been coming to Uwe for over 10 years, we still know the uhrige hut and have experienced its commercialization. The fish platter is still very tasty, except for the fried potatoes. The service is extremely courteous, but the quality generally declines. The pasta and fried potatoes are overcooked and the scampi doesn't taste like anything. Let's see how it turns out.

Ate here 3 times in a very short time, because instead of the usual rolls, the fish is also served on very tasty wholemeal bread sandwiches with herb quark. Unfortunately the prices are extremely high - even for Usedom.

There is a self-service area and a separate restaurant. The dishes are all delicious and the fish is fabulous. The prices are reasonable considering it's fish and in a tourist town. The service is very nice. You should make a reservation in the restaurant in advance as it gets very crowded in the evenings.

Very, very tasty!!!! Very friendly service. Sat outside. Despite the strong wind, we sat there comfortably. There was a warm blanket for everyone from the boss on top. Had an informative conversation with the smoker master, who explained everything to us. He knows his craft, otherwise it wouldn't have tasted so good. So kudos to him. We will come again!

Over the years that we have consumed food in this fishing hut, we have noticed that the portions on the plate are getting smaller and the prices are getting higher. Too bad!

Unfortunately we were only able to try the fish sandwiches here, but they were excellent.

Fish rolls -- marinated salmon for €5 Hard rolls and definitely not enough side dishes for this price. In Bansin the roll is freshly prepared (in front of you), twice as big and bomb side dishes for the same price!!!

Quaint, cozy restaurant with self-service and service to choose from. The employees are very friendly and authentic. The fish was great.
