Nice place with great food—a bit on the expensive side, but top quality. The service wasn't attentive enough, though; they preferred chatting with friends/acquaintances instead of serving. A shame! I sat around for a full 25 minutes before I could order a beer. After complaining about the wait, I finally got it on the house. That saved the day in the end. Thanks for that.

We spent a week at the Hotel The Breeze in Ahlbeck and ate at Braca every evening. We were able to try a wide variety of dishes on the menu, and everything on it was delicious. Many flavors are combined. The meat is cooked to perfection and of very good quality. Unfortunately, they only serve pizza on Sundays, which might be the only drawback. Otherwise, everything was great! Excellent service, right on the beach, everything was delicious, and a visual experience too!

What can I say...we were looking forward to the evening, and our expectations were truly exceeded. From the champagne selection to the wine list and the truly excellent food. Last but not least, the outstanding service and the (unexpected in this region) incredibly good cocktails (even if something isn't on the menu, they make everything possible at the highest level). Special props to Farina for her authentic, warm, and service-oriented expertise.

You definitely shouldn't look forward to the seafood buffet and plan to go there, because then it can happen very quickly that you are told it simply isn't taking place. Of course, we made a special reservation for it in advance.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed by this place! The tuna carpaccio?! So sweet 😳 a strange variation - it overpowered the taste of the fish - I would have served it as dessert 🤯 The pizza was terrible! Nduja picante - I don't even know what I was eating - The truffle - bland! No character! Very poor food 🥺

Excellent selection of dishes. Not an overly extensive menu. Apparently, they still make their own food here. Highly recommended pizzas. The breakfast is also highly recommended. Such a selection borders on exhaustive. Very tasty.

The food tastes very good, and the service is also faultless. But if you complain that the soup is only warm, then an hour passes between the starter and the main course, which is also only warm, which is then again complained about, and there's no reaction unless the kitchen knows about it, then it's not a successful evening at the restaurant. I can understand that you're more or less dependent on a customer. However, you should stick to your roots and try to offer your guests a pleasant evening as a restaurant owner.

We are guests at The Breeze and are simply overwhelmed by the Braca in Ahlbeck. From the moment you arrive, you feel welcome and completely cared for. The team is incredibly warm and attentive, without seeming pretentious. The food is a dream – full of flavor, finely balanced, and simply spot on. Add to that the wonderful ambiance, which immediately creates a special atmosphere. You can see the passion that goes into every detail here. If it were possible, we would happily award it 6 stars!

We were there for nine days and dined at the restaurant several times. It was an absolutely unforgettable experience during our vacation. Many thanks to Matthias, Christian, Sylvester, and of course Marina (I hope those names are spelled correctly 😀). The service was perfect, and it was lovely to see how much joy you brought in your hospitality. The food was always an experience, and the steaks, for example, were among the best of my life. The seafood buffet on the last day (Tuesday) made saying goodbye all the more difficult. Of all the vacations/cruises, etc., this restaurant remains in our hearts, and we say THANK YOU again.

We made a reservation the day before. Unfortunately, the website didn't indicate that only pizza was available on Sundays. The pizza was completely overpriced and bad! It's a shame. We were actually looking forward to a nice evening based on the reviews, especially since the online menu is very appealing. Our comment that the pizza wasn't good was ignored...very disappointing!

The prices are outrageous. But the quality is top-notch. Today, however, we waited 30 minutes to even order. Then another hour for rice pudding, a cold snack platter for two (€36!! for some cheese, sausage, oil, and bread), and a pizza. We understood that it was very busy and, apparently, understaffed on that particular day. BUT, if that's the case and the restaurant caters to an upscale clientele, then you expect a corresponding courtesy. A free drink or some other kind of token would have been more than appropriate. And certainly wouldn't have hurt the owner. ;-) For us, this was the last time we'll eat there. The hotel breakfast is absolutely superb.

Good food, nice ambiance. Unfortunately, the service was nonexistent. In two hours, no one even asked if everything was okay. So, I only had one drink in two hours. We had the seafood buffet, but unfortunately, our used plates weren't cleared away. The kids' meals are generously portioned for children up to 6 years old; you'll need to plan for a second meal for older children. More show than substance. I won't try it again.

The two of us had dinner here. The restaurant's decor is unusual and modern, yet chic. The staff is very friendly and happy to accommodate any food intolerances. The small menu features Mediterranean dishes with a Nordic touch. The kitchen also adapts dishes upon request. We enjoyed our meal and will definitely return. We're also considering a stay at The Breeze. However, the parking situation directly at the hotel/restaurant is difficult. After a while, we went back to Braca. This time for breakfast/brunch. This time, too, the service staff looked after us and accommodated our intolerances. Many thanks to Katarzyna. The selection is very extensive, whether it's freshly prepared egg dishes, bread, sausage, cheese, spreads, etc. Refills are available until just before 11:00 a.m., and everything is always fresh. Not cheap, but affordable. A compelling concept!

A very pleasant atmosphere and friendly service to begin with. We felt very comfortable at first – the ambiance was appealing and the service attentive. However, as the visit progressed, the attentiveness dwindled somewhat. The tiramisu we ordered was unfortunately not served until about 20 minutes after our coffee, even though we would have liked to enjoy it with the coffee. By that time, the coffee was already gone, so we didn't want the dessert. There were also minor discrepancies when paying: When we asked for separate bills, the waiter didn't seem particularly pleased, and unfortunately, we had to wait quite a long time before we could finally pay. It's a shame, because the start was really promising – with a little more consistent service, the visit would have been a complete success.

The service was unfriendly and distant – presumably because after a day on the road, you wouldn't want to stand outside a restaurant with your shirt on. We were staying just a few meters away and picked up the pizza to eat in the villa. Had I eaten at the restaurant, I would have returned it. The expensive truffle pizza was particularly disappointing. After a long wait, despite ordering at a specific time, the pizza arrived and I went straight to our villa. There, I opened the box and the pizza barely had any truffles on it. The pizza had hardly any flavor, and some of it was just truffle oil. It seemed neither high-quality nor particularly filling. The restaurant itself made a good initial impression. The location is good and the ambiance generally harmonious. Obviously, the aim is to attract a wealthy clientele. If you don't fit that mold, you'll be made to feel it. A visit is not recommended.

Absolutely pleasantly surprised: great service and genuine friendliness, with a fantastic, modern menu. The food is Nordic and modern; I recommend the fish soup. It's different but delicious compared to the typical Baltic Sea fare. Good wine list with some exciting bottles, wines by the glass, and still diverse.

Awesome! Absolutely the best thing on Ahlbeck. Far from tourist spots, friendly, helpful, not "cheap"... if you're looking for mass tourism without style, you've come to the wrong place! Absolutely fantastic food, a great atmosphere, but the service was unfortunately poor. It took forever for us to place our order. The main course only arrived after 2.5 hours, despite repeated requests. Unfortunately, without a word of apology. The wine glasses were cleared away even though there was still wine in the bottle. The wine we drank wasn't cold anymore... What a shame...

I enjoyed a relaxing evening sitting outside. Unfortunately, the service wasn't exactly fast. We waited at least 20 minutes for our order to be taken. The atmosphere is great. The prices are the usual, but a bit high.

Lamb rump was a bit bland, the barley, eggplant and monk's beard were very tasty. Friendly service, dish came quickly. Pleasant ambience and interior. In general, it was noticed that there were not enough staff for such a large restaurant (May 1st).

We spent 3 days on Usedom and the reviews of the restaurants here were pretty sobering. Luckily we came across this restaurant. The food was really top class and we really traveled the whole world. But what makes this country something really special is the restaurant boss Matthias. If the man is employed, you have to shower him with money. He is so OUTSTANDING in his hospitality and leadership that I have never experienced in a restaurant and reminded me of a Hollywood movie and the portrayal of the perfect restaurant owner.

Made my day!!! 🙏🏻 After rather bad experiences with the Ahlbecker Gastro-Service world, we visited BRACA for the first time. One criterion was the option of being able to eat gluten-free. The team greeted us in a friendly manner and the table was already prepared with colored pencils and small puzzles, apparently due to the reservation (4+4 children). The non-alcoholic aperitifs, among other things, tasted delicious and the menu didn't make the decision easy. The friendly team helped us choose and even let us taste a sample of the gluten-free pizza dough. Like all the dishes chosen, it was convincing due to its high-quality ingredients and the great Riesling. At the end everyone was full, satisfied and healed from the service dramas of the previous day. Thank you for this nice ending!!!

Unfortunately the service is poor and the food is not particularly good. Here you are served according to the value of the accessories. Things go much better with a Rolex on your arm, so don't come without it on your next date. The starter comes before the drinks, the dishes are brought out incorrectly and the dishes don't get cleared away for ages. It's a shame, next time I'll show my account balance first ;-)

Bracca in Ahlbeck has always offered a pleasant dining experience with great food and a welcoming ambiance. The menu is diverse, covering a wide range of cuisines and dishes, and the quality consistently delivers on flavor and presentation. Update: Previously, service had been hit-or-miss - but I’m happy to say that this has clearly improved. During my recent visits, staff were attentive, friendly, and professional throughout. It’s great to see that Bracca has addressed past inconsistencies, and the experience now feels much more balanced and reliable. With excellent food, warm atmosphere, and now solid service to match, Bracca has become a well-rounded and dependable choice for dining in Ahlbeck.

Great Neapolitan pizza, very fluffy, bubble-forming edge, nice and thin in the middle with high-quality ingredients. We had pizza margerita twice and children's pizza with salami twice. We ordered online “to go” and paid in advance by credit card. The pizza was ready on time, the pickup went smoothly, the staff was really friendly and accommodating. On our next vacation we will eat pizza in the restaurant, the atmosphere there is very modern and cozy.

Whenever we’re on the island, we always make a stop at Braca. The food is consistently good, and this time we had the truffle pizza and the goat cheese & fig pizza—both were solid choices. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the outdoor seating works well in both summer and winter. Overall, a great spot with a unique vibe for Usedom.

Unfortunately nothing went right in Breca today. At first it was only said that the 2 tables were available for 2 people / 10 minutes later the previously requested (and not available) table for 2 was suddenly made possible. Even though enough others were free, I don't understand it. Waited 20 minutes until you could at least order the drinks. And in the end we sat for 30 minutes with empty plates and empty glasses. We decided to save the dessert/second wine due to time constraints. That makes the birthday evening a little wistful. The surprising thing was the bill came immediately. We have been guests here for different months and are great friends of the Vela Group. But unfortunately the service could be improved. We decided to cancel the table for the following day.

We had two pizzas for dinner here on Pizza Sunday. Yes, the pizzas at €14 (Margherita) and €19 (Salami) are a little more expensive than usual, but they were really worth the money in terms of taste. The ambience was also very nice and the service was very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommended 👍🏽

Definitely a TOP restaurant! I would even come back just to eat here again. Top quality, a good, alternating mix of regional cuisine and Mediterranean accents, so lovingly and freshly prepared. The atmosphere is also an absolute highlight: soft, pleasant background music and the most harmonious furnishings invite you to linger. Upscale restaurant with excellent food and drinks. Discreet, very attentive and friendly staff. Here you can relax with good food and very good wine. Particularly recommended, especially in winter, is the heated lounge under 2 huge parasols. Restaurant is highly recommended.

Probably the best restaurant on Usedom. We (as non-hotel guests) were initially very impressed by the hotel, because Breeze is an exception compared to other hotels on Usedom - modern and stylish. It's exactly the same in the Braca restaurant - super nice atmosphere with super friendly service and very tasty food. Children's meals tasted super fresh and we had Rissoto and spagetti with pumpkin which was nice had a sweet note. Definitely one Recommendation. PS for non-hotel guests: better make a reservation.

Great atmosphere. Get a table on the terrace without a reservation, weather permitting. For starters we had beef tartare and chanterelle soup with truffles. Child had mashed potatoes with chicken fricassee. Very tasty and homemade I would say. Our main course was Chateau Briand. Meat perfectly fried. We had the green asparagus and the sweet potato sobrasada puree as side dishes. You pay €13 per supplement on top of the €79. One can argue about the price of the side dishes. But you won't be disappointed.

We ate at BRACA with 4 people on August 28th, 2024 and recommended the restaurant to our friends from Munich based on very good experiences. Yesterday, too, the service was very good again, the staff was very accommodating and the recommendations regarding suitable wines and the daily recommendations regarding starters and desserts also met our taste. The main course was a delicious Chateaubriand for two people each with various side dishes (jus, sweet potato puree, green asparagus, etc.), which also tasted fantastically well with the meat. The cooking point was also hit precisely. Bravo! You can tell that the entire team puts a lot of effort into ensuring the guests have a lovely evening with very good food. The location with large umbrellas, cozy furniture and heating elements for the evening hours also invites you to linger and have a drink or two. The terrace area is particularly ideal for this with a view of the beach promenade. We would love to come back and I can warmly recommend this restaurant to all friends of good taste. Beautiful and relaxed atmosphere, good attentive service and delicious (more plentiful - than a typical German note 😉) “Caesar Style” salad, as well as the rosé and cappuccino. I still see the architectural idea of ​​“the breeze” as a question mark in the area, but I like the “BRACA idea” and invites you to linger without rushing. Of course, it also depends on the people who actually implement this on site every day.

We really felt very comfortable here. The ambience is first class and the food is very tasty. We were always there on pizza day on Sundays. We were impressed by the quality - salads, pizzas and also the loving preparation of the children's meals (pizza bread, pasta with tomato sauce;-)). We would like to come back at any time.

Despite the enormous amount of work, the service is really very nice and leaves nothing to be desired. The manager has incredible control over the restaurant, is very professional, charming and knows what he is doing. He conjures up the great level of this restaurant. If you appreciate good food in a great atmosphere, you should definitely come here. The highlight is Tuesday, when there is a seafood buffet that is equally addictive.

We have now been here for dinner three times and each time we received a friendly welcome and the service was always polite, friendly and had a good overview. We find the relaxed nature very pleasant. The food we ordered was always excellent and there was hardly any waiting time. A big compliment to the kitchen for that. The price-performance ratio is consistent. WE CAN ONLY RECOMMEND THE RESTAURANT, WHETHER YOU EAT INDOOR OR ON THE TERRACE KEEP IT UP 👍👍

Repeated email reminders to make the reservation. Then a disinterested greeting and a card that had nothing to do with the advertising of the house. We left after 10 minutes without any service contact.

“Pizzas to go” Unfortunately, our visit to the restaurant was a disappointment. The food was not of a good quality. With a hard, partially burnt, shapeless appearance and tasteless crust. The topping was not spread nicely (see picture). The service also left a lot to be desired, we had to wait a long time for our order (45 minutes for two pizzas!) and the service was inattentive. According to the statement, the food should be ready after 10-15 minutes. The chef seemed so overwhelmed that the pizzas and their boxes were just “thrown around”. The value for money was also disappointing. The prices were far too high for the quality offered. Despite the attractive location and the appealing ambience, the restaurant is unfortunately not recommended.

Unfortunately we had to wait 60 minutes for the starter. Nobody but us noticed that something was going wrong. A “no go” for a restaurant of this level. A pity!

I ate there with my fiancée and it was simply delicious. My fiancée had fish bluffet which cost 50€, but it was worth it & for me, as a non-fish lover, I had pizza & friends, I tell you it was one of the best pizzas I've eaten! I think the price/performance ratio is completely okay given the conditions! The service was really great, but unfortunately on our evening it was a little slower, so a point was deducted. Conclusion: Highly recommended!

In our opinion, price-performance is not justified. Taste ok, portions clear. Service was always tried. If the waiter hadn't been busy chatting with an acquaintance at the bar, he might have been more attentive/faster. It took quite a while before we even got a menu, let alone ordered. Food came comparatively quickly. Other guests went to the bar to order drinks because no one came by. I also found not knowing the pizza of the day but having to ask about it weak. The atmosphere is great, cozy and stylish, but unfortunately that can't make up for it. Less than a 5 minute walk away you can get more for the same money. We won't be coming back.

We stayed at the Breeze for 6 nights and made extensive use of the Braca restaurant. The breakfast offering is wide-ranging. Egg dishes are freshly prepared for everyone and there is certainly something for everyone at the buffet. Dinner was delicious, we ate ala card twice and the sea food buffet once. The price is of course high with drinks. The service is friendly and attentive. We liked it very much.

We ate here a few times during our stay at the hotel and were very impressed every time! The service is really sensationally friendly and accommodating, and our children's every wish was fulfilled. A relaxed but very professional atmosphere. The buffet evenings also leave nothing to be desired. In the afternoon and at lunchtime there is a very cool lounge outside on the terrace under two huge umbrellas. Delicious coffee, fantastic cake, small bistro menu. The bar is also very professionally run and offers a lot of handmade items! There is no place more pleasant for us!

We had a very nice evening in the restaurant. Both the seafood buffet and the à la carte dishes were of the highest quality. The meal was rounded off by a creative cocktail offering, which was far from the usual offering. It wasn't cheap, but the quality matched the price.

We had a vegetarian Italian "starter platter" and two vegetarian pizzas - both delicious, but unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations for price-performance. The service was tried hard, but should have been better for the price - promised second menu cards never came, wrong wines, additional bread took 20 minutes. For the price I wouldn't eat here again.

We were at Braca on a public holiday and had to wait about 90 minutes for our food, some of which didn't match the order. Unfortunately, given the very high prices, this is a shame. The service didn't apologize at first and said that everything had been passed on correctly to the kitchen - in my opinion, they could react better straight away. There was then a round of drinks on the house. The food was average, the restaurant itself is rather noisy and less comfortable.

The restaurant has quickly become one of the best on the island. The gastronomic offering is convincing across the board and the innovative concept is impressive. I have had the opportunity to visit the restaurant several times. The rapid development and quality of the team within just 8-9 months since opening is remarkable. The staff is extremely accommodating, friendly and unusually sweet! Although some expertise is still lacking, this is more than made up for by the warm and committed nature of the employees. The restaurant has become my personal favorite. I am excited about further developments and look forward to future visits. Thank you very much again!

We ate there two days in a row as we were staying at the adjacent hotel. While the hotel was really great, the restaurant is unfortunately a disappointment across the board. We cannot explain the good reviews here. On the first evening we ate á la carte, on the second evening we ate from the fish buffet and ordered a lobster. Except for the dessert on both days, all the other dishes were simply not good, sometimes even bad. The half lobster for €22 didn't even have 3 tablespoons of meat, and at the fish buffet you would never believe that you are only 100m from the sea as the crow flies. The two of us paid a total of €330 on both evenings (!!!), without a tip. The quality of the food couldn't even begin to justify these prices. We strongly advise against eating at this restaurant.

The two of us spent the evening at BRACA in Ahlbeck today and are very impressed by both the service and the extremely delicious food, wine and beautiful ambience. Very pleasant atmosphere, you are looked after very warmly. Very good selection of fish/meat and vegetarian dishes 👍🏻 Overall, BRACA is a real recommendation for anyone who wants to have a really nice meal. Bonus: you can see the Baltic Sea from the terrace.

Such a beautiful and unique restaurant in Ahlbeck. The ambience is a feast for the eyes for design lovers. The food is delicious and the staff is very polite, professional and relaxed. The restaurant is super child-friendly. We ate there very often and will definitely come back!
