The fish soup was simply unbeatable. Absolutely delicious. The only downside was the large dog at the next table, constantly shaking its fur. In my opinion, animals have no place in a restaurant's interior. There are outdoor seating areas, and they shouldn't be sitting 30 centimeters away from my food.

We felt like eating a fish sandwich after our walk... the fresh fish on a roll was warm, fresh, and very tasty.

We ate there yesterday, November 1st, 2025. The staff was very friendly and organized. The fish sandwiches were fantastic and the price was reasonable. We were really pleasantly surprised... Best regards to the whole team from the Grunewald family from Schwedt.

I ate a fried fish sandwich here, and it was simply fantastic! No water and no dripping grease. Just crispy breading, delicious fish, and a very fresh sandwich. The entire selection of fish sandwiches is very broad. I can't share the other opinions you've read here. The prices are also reasonable.

We ate fried fish sandwiches. The fish was watery and looked and tasted like frozen. The water dripped from the fish as we ate it, and the breading wasn't tasty either. All the breaded fish looked the same. There wasn't even a lettuce leaf on the sandwich. The fried fish sandwiches in Międzyzdroje on the beach, directly from the fisherman, deserve 5 stars. But unfortunately, not the ones from Fisch & mehr.

Unfortunately, the fried fish and potato salad weren't homemade. They tasted good anyway.

I can't comment on the rolls, but the fish soup is heavenly. A solid portion of soup, full of fish and dill. That's how it should be. It's just a shame they're so short-lived and don't have soup or fries for kids after certain hours. But the soup has been a hit for years!

The fish roll was delicious, with matjes and fried herring. There are plenty of tables inside and outside, so even when it's busy, there's always a place to sit. It's clean and pleasant. The service is efficient and friendly. The only downside is the tea glass, which is old and made of cheap, dark Duralex, like you'd find in a milk bar. 😉 Two rolls, a beer, and tea, for 13 euros. So, prices are the same as in Poland.

We're from southern Germany. The restaurant was advertised to me as "they have the world's best fish soup," and I was skeptical about the soup. But, young father, it was delicious. The fish sandwiches are also highly recommended, and the prices are all reasonable. I'd even call the drinks inexpensive (€2.50 for a 0.5-liter Coca-Cola bottle and similar). The place is perfectly organized. You stand in line, get everything you need in a sensible order, and you get a beeper for anything that takes longer. One child wanted his fish sandwich with remoulade, but it was no problem. ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE: IF YOU TAKE A FISH SANDWICH TO GO, YOU SHOULD BE WATCH OUT FOR THE SEAGULLS WHEN LEAVING THE PLACE. THEY LIKE TO Snatch Up The Sandwiches In A DIVE. It didn't happen to us, but we witnessed it several times.

As always, this is our number one fish sandwich; we're happy to come from other seaside resorts just for it. Freshly made, great prices, and always delicious. We've never been disappointed here. More space outside would be nice, but it's probably not feasible.

For a quick fish sandwich as a snack at lunch, there's really nothing to complain about.

Too bad! Yes, that really describes it correctly! The fish itself, at the correct price, would definitely have deserved a better rating. The terrace has close seating. But what doesn't work is pieces of cucumber waste that are used to garnish the matjes roll. Okay, there's nothing "Fisch@ can do anymore" for the guests, who are constantly feeding the birds with their leftover bread rolls. They then simply end up at the table while eating to check out the situation. Their remains remain on tables and chairs, which you then carry home with you on trousers and jackets. As I said, the beautiful, good fish saves the third star.

Excellent "Fischbrötchen" 😋 Loved the "Brathering". The "Makrele mit Lachs und Käse" (mackerel with smoked salmon and cheese) was a bit salty though in my personal opinion.

NOT RECOMMENDABLE! Extremely unfriendly staff, the fish sandwiches were cold and fries were not sold for no understandable reason. When I asked if there was anything else vegetarian, an extremely rude and unfriendly statement followed. Not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.

My husband found a review from six months ago that they serve great fish soup here. While in Świnoujście, we went along the seaside to Herringsdorf for this soup. I confirm that it was worth it. Lots of white fish meat, carrots, leeks and dill, perfectly seasoned with spices and cream. A large portion, a solid bowl and a warm bun. Delicious. I've already reached Świnoujście and I can still taste this soup. I think I'll go back there again 🤩🙂 Current price 6.50 euros. There are no toilets in the premises, but there is a free public toilet in the basement of the pier.

The Usedom 🐟 soup is highly recommended in every respect.

Personally, I think fried fish with fries is too expensive for 8.50, you get a plate with a basket of fries and just the fried fish, the portion size is not worth the price. I also think the fried fish doesn't taste fresh, it tastes like frozen fried fish from a supermarket. I know fried fish very well because I eat it every year on vacation on other coasts and there it is made with beer batter and you can still taste the slightly salty taste of the sea in the fish afterwards. This is how you can tell what is fresh. The ambience itself is beautifully designed. Staff polite and in a good mood. Price performance for the drinks should also be reconsidered. 3.50 is also usury.

The service was very good. We both ate salmon sandwiches. The rolls could have been significantly fresher. The salmon's abdominal lobe was not cut off. This one was very sad. We have eaten much better fish sandwiches.

A must on every visit to Heringsdorf is the Usedom fish soup. A small place to grab a quick snack. Update from October 27th, 2024: the fish addition to the Usedom fish soup has been reduced by 50% while the price remains the same. Too bad.

Fish sandwiches weren't worth mentioning. I'm totally disappointed. Loveless preparation. If you want a decent meal you should go to Zinnowitz on the pier.

Here you can quickly get fresh fish on hand for in between meals. Absolutely fair in price (Bismarck herring for €4) and very tasty. The rolls are very well topped. Staff very friendly. I like to stop here for a snack.

The fish sandwich ruined my vacation. The fish sandwich was the only thing I ate, the rest of the family is fine. It also tasted way too salty. I then struggled with vomiting and diarrhea for 2 days. So never eat there again.

I can't give it more than 2 stars because the saleswoman/waiter didn't wash her hands after she smoked and went straight back behind the counter and touched the fish products with her hands. Absolute no go. This is not appropriate and is unhygienic. Otherwise the fish sandwiches were good.

A very large selection of fish sandwiches for an acceptable price. It tastes very tasty and special requests are catered for. You just have to be careful when taking the rolls outside as people are regularly attacked by seagulls
