I've been to the Street Food Festival in Flingern three days in a row to eat my way through everything on offer. Most of it tasted good to very good to me. My personal highlights were the Hawaii five B Burger and the Mr. Beef Hot Dog. The prices are consistently quite high, but the offering is also very extensive and quite unusual. With a bit of luck, you can get the €4 entry fee back with a lucky ticket in the form of a free soft drink. I only found out about the festival by chance through Antenne Düsseldorf, but I will definitely go again next time. A very nice, relaxed atmosphere with a very pleasant crowd and a welcome change from the usual restaurants in the old town. I only gave the ambience 4 stars because you could get more out of the rather cool location to have an even more chilled experience.

Great festival. When the weather is good, lie in a deck chair with a cocktail and delicious street food. With DJ in the steelworks. It's a shame that it's only every 1st Thursday of the month

This is really typical for Düsseldorf. They can't get enough of it. As if it wasn't enough to pay the overpriced prices at the stands, no, they also want entry.

Easy and quick ordering. The baguettes are beautifully topped and finely seasoned. They (unfortunately) don't skimp on the sauce. If you like a lot of sauce, this is the place for you. I always enjoy coming back, but I always need 2-3 tissues to clean up after eating 😅 Anyway, the tastiest meals are also the messiest, right? Great place! Service was also quick and smooth. In terms of value for money, it's the best in Düsseldorf. I'm pretty sure no other restaurant in Düsseldorf can compete with it. In my opinion, the best value for money in all of Düsseldorf.

Koblenzer Str. 249The food was OK. There are definitely better snack bars, though. Unfortunately not in this area. The selection is very varied, though. The shop itself doesn't look very nice anymore. The seats are covered in fabric, which in my opinion doesn't belong in a place where people eat. You can see from the photos what the benches look like. The tables are very dirty. They aren't wiped down after each visit (see photo 2). Young people were sitting there eating. After they had left, nobody came and wiped the tables. There were even leftovers on the floor. The shop itself doesn't make a good impression. The staff, well, the man seemed very annoyed. And the woman is either always on the phone or has her eyes glued to the TV. Very unfriendly and looks very grim. Since it's the only shop where you can get a kebab, I don't think they care. People still come to eat kebabs and have nowhere else to go. Gatath is definitely missing a proper kebab shop!

Witzelstraße 14The Dürum roll is a safe bet. Delicious, fresh lettuce and onions, not too overpowering sauces.

Birkenstraße 49I came here because I wanted to eat Ceva Puchichi. About 15 minutes walk from Central Station. You'll get lost unless you look at the map. A sandwich with 5 cebapchichis is 5E.Eating one will fill you up and it's quite delicious. When I went there at 11am, it was still under preparation, so it might be better to go a little later.
