Schloderer Bierstüberl in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Small restaurant. We arrived spontaneously and were lucky that there was space, as most of the tables were reserved. The food and service were good, and the ambiance was appropriate for a beer hall.

We stumbled upon this place by chance and were very happy. The food was delicious (pulled pork + schnitzel). The service was very pleasant. We were completely satisfied. The location was rustic Bavarian, so quaint. We felt very comfortable. Thank you very much and best regards from Berlin.

A very nice beer hall with delicious food. The steaks are top-notch. We had steak on a skewer, grilled to perfection with delicious vegetables and fried potatoes. The service was also excellent. When we praised the chef, he came to our table and even bought us an apricot. Great place

Young bartender was rude. Someone in our party spoke German and he just spent our 1 beer duration trashing us. Kept trying to rage-bait us. It is what it is, but if you’re not German-german…

Came to have dinner. Left after having drinks. The atmosphere was really bad and left a disgusting aftertaste. The main waiter/chef/owner/whatever is super rude, racist and wanted us to leave as soon as possible. And mean to his waitress staff. At one point I wondered what is wrong with this guy's vibe - it was incredibly weird. And it's not like the dude didn't know English - he absolutely did, just wanted to make a scene about not serving foreign customers. This was such a contrast to the rest of Garmisch Partenkirchen, so I'd recommend skipping this kneipe, honestly. So many kind people/places in GaPa that are actually worth your business instead.

Delicious food, cosy atmosphere and amazing service. All the staff were exceptionally warm a welcoming. Will definitely becoming back here :)

Small but perfectly formed could be the motto for this restaurant. Friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, and above all, delicious food. We've never tasted such a delicious skewer. We highly recommend this place.

The Rinderfilet was absolutely outstanding, perfectly tender with a rich and flavorful sauce. The vegetables and hash browns on the side were just as impressive. This place fills up quickly so reservations are a must, but I really appreciated that they let me enjoy my meal at the bar.

We would have been interested, so here is the information: the restaurant opens at 4 p.m. and you can order food from 5 p.m. That certainly makes sense, and that's how it's apparently handled - but we would have liked to have known before we arrived. That's why we can't rate it, with the hungry children we couldn't wait that long. Bon appetit everyone else!

We went there because we were looking for a restaurant with good reviews. When we arrived we were briefly surprised that it was more of a pub than a restaurant. Since we didn't make a reservation (Tuesdays), we were lucky enough to get a bar table with chairs for 2 people. So it's better to reserve. During the time we were there, a number of guests had to be sent away. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was to die for. We cook with love and passion. We can only recommend it

If you really want to eat tender sirloin steaks and delicious salads, you can't avoid stopping at the "Schloderer". We have been coming here for many years, where you not only eat well, but also celebrate heartily🍺. The innkeeper and head chef is a lovable "unique" who always ensures that the bar is full with hard work and quick sayings! We'll be back. The Hanoverians👍

Small, very hospitable pub (not quite the right name) with very good food. The service knows its stuff and is a lot better than other restaurants nearby (where you pay more). 100% recommendation and you should reserve!

At first glance we were a little surprised. As expected, this was not a restaurant but a small pub. But as hoped, the food was really great. The fillet steak was a poem. The meat was of excellent quality and cooked to perfection. The pepper sauce with it was good to die for. The service was super nice and the prices were fair. We will definitely come back and hope for the recipe for the pepper sauce 😜. Tip: The small restaurant is very popular. A reservation is therefore recommended.

We came to this location by chance. A small beer bar with 8 tables, which are usually always reserved. It is advisable to make a reservation there. We felt that too. We (2 people) could "only" be offered the bar. BUT... IT WAS WORTH IT!! Cozy atmosphere, nice service, very good food at reasonable prices!!! And beyond that: The best Bavarian beer from Tegernsee... and... MIRTO!! Can only be recommended. When we are back in Garmisch we will be there again. But then with reservation! 😉

This cozy little gem of a restaurant is an absolute must-visit! With only a few tables, reservations are highly recommended. The service is truly outstanding – incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food? Simply fantastic and absolutely delicious. And the prices are unbeatable! We felt so comfortable and warmly cared for throughout our visit. We're beyond grateful to have discovered this place, and if we're ever back in Garmisch, we'll definitely return. Just a heads-up: it's cash only!

This place is very small - maybe six tables inside and four or five tables outside. We were able to make a reservation the day before and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We were seated just outside of the window off of the bar so our ordering and beverage/food deliveries were through that window due to how tight the patio is. The food was absolutely fantastic, my curried sausage platter was excellent. The staff was excellent, putting up with our bad German and having excellent English. Menus are handwritten, as is the bill when it is time to pay.

Via tripadvisor anmelderser fandt vi denne meget hyggelige lille restaurant. Vi gik forbi midt på eftermiddagen og bestilte bord (de sidste pladser!). Vi bestilte drikkevarer og mad hos den venlige tjener. Hun kom hurtigt med drikkevarerne, men vi ventede ca. 45 minutter på maden. Det gjorde nu ikke noget, da der var meget hyggeligt, en god stemning og så kunne vi se, at de havde meget travlt. Maden (kyllingebryst med salat mm og schnitzel) og virkelig god - det var den bedste schnitzel jeg havde fået på turen. Det kan bestemt anbefales at besøge stedet.

Chose this as it’s been highly recommended. Walked to the door then saw its cash only so had to double back after visiting the atm! But the meal was delicious and the best bratkartoffel I’ve tasted so far! Tender breaded pork schnitzel and a decent helping of cranberry sauce!

Step 3: I sat to the left of the birthday child. Unfortunately, I had to pantomically explain to the waitress that I would like to drink a dark wheat beer next. Thank you friends of the sun. Continue to the peak hiking trail viewpoint.

The Schlodi is always a must!!! The steak completely convinced me, the ice-cold Tegernsee goes really well! Service is also great!!

After more than 50 unsuccessful attempts to make a reservation, we walked there shortly after it opened. There we were asked if we had reserved. We had to “deny” this. When we shared how many times we tried it and showed it to the innkeeper, he said we were lying!!! Hello??? That's probably not possible! We saved ourselves further insults and left. Doesn't fit at all...

Probably one of the best places in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, you eat well there for a very reasonable price. The waiters are very friendly and the wait only confirms that this is real cuisine. I particularly recommend the pulled pork.

Loved this place. Very German. Super friendly staff. Delicious steak, though a little under cooked for medium. Great pepper sauce and hashbrowns. Two large beers, including a nice NA. The large side salad is huge! Probably need reservations. We were lucky to get a bar stool table For two.

Small restaurant with excellent food. There are only a few seats inside and a few tables in the rear outdoor area. The menu offers a wide variety, from steak and burgers to Asian noodle dishes. The service was very attentive. Almost all tables were reserved. Highly recommended.

Vom Wirt persönlich begrüßt worden und mit Tipps für die nächsten Tage versorgt. Wir hatten Salat mir Scampis, Wiener Schnitzel, Rinderlendensteak und Pfeffersteak und waren begeistert. Und dann hatten wir noch einen traumhaften Nachtisch (Apfel - (Name vergessen) mit Vanilleeis.

Got recommended this place for local food from a coffee shop down the road, and man did it not disappoint. Had the menu of the day: Spinat-Knödel which was outrageously good. Furthermore the staff was very friendly and even though tables were only tended by 1 person we didn't have to wait for a refill etc. And that for crazy good prices. Definitely get why we got recommended this place, and would recommend it myself as well

Great place with a cool atmosphere. If you want to feel the atmosphere of a real German bar, this place is perfect. The service is pleasant, the waitress is attentive but not intrusive. The menu is large, there is plenty to choose from. The portions are quite large, you definitely won’t leave hungry. Payment only in cash.

Absolute recommendation. I rarely give five stars, but here it is absolutely deserved. The service is incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is really cozy (only a few tables) and the food was incredibly tasty and great value for money. We liked it so much that we went there a second time during our vacation and it was great again. To top it all off, there was also a schnapps on the house. Simply cozy and beautiful!

This is a wonderful, cosy, local find. Book in advance and enjoy great service, very large portions and super delicious menu options with gorgeous FRESH ingredients. We had the side salad first then the barbecue steak with potato hash browns and chicken salad and it was one of the best meals we have in a week of being here. The salad itself was one of the best I’ve had this year, the salad dressing is phenomenal.
