Smaller restaurant where the locals also come to eat, which is always a good sign for me. Prices are still quite fair for these days. (cash payment only) Service Kraft was very nice, food was delicious and portions were sufficient. I recommend this restaurant if you doesn't just want to sit with tourists.

1. Reservation would be unnecessary. I ordered a place/table for 2 at 7 p.m., there was no place/table available even though there were some signs saying, for example: reserved from 6 p.m. why not for 7 p.m. I didn't quite understand that? I booked it from 7 p.m. there are signs where some guests have guests and the waitress will sit you down somewhere. So the reservation brought zero. 2. We then sat down and had to wait about 45 minutes for the menu. You also have to say that the two waitresses were very stressed because there was a lot going on. 3. We had to wait a very long time to get our drinks and the glasses were dirty. 4. My liver dumpling soup came and the beef broth tasted like water so not good and the dumplings were good. 5. My girlfriend ordered vegetarian food. The spinach and cheese dumplings were 2 small dumplings each, which I think is very little for a main course. The spinach dumplings tasted ok and the cheese dumplings were good. 6. My Bavarian sausage salad was very small, about half the size of the broth if not even smaller, so for the price/ratio it was outrageously overpriced/a small children's portion, not recommended. The sausage salad itself tasted good. 6. Since I was still hungry and my girlfriend was also because the portions were really small, we ate a dessert. It was chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and it tasted really good. Conclusion In my opinion it is not recommended to put dirty glasses in front of you, food was good on average, very long waiting time probably because 2 conditions were really not enough and they tried very hard to get everything right and that's why they get the 3 Stars from me and the kitchen 1 star The average food was good and so I don't need to go there anymore because I can cook for this standard myself at home and then save myself the far too expensive food for a good standard.

Leberkäs with fried egg and fried potatoes, large portion and delicious. Bavarian sausage salad well seasoned, very tasty and sufficient. There was a schnapps on the house. Will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Stopped in at 7:50 p.m. - food? We first had to ask in the kitchen. We were the last guests accepted for dinner. And that in the high season... The portion size was reasonable. But the taste is average at best. For example, the fried potatoes were not salted. There was no salt at the table either. The service only brought the drinks after an eternity. A drink I ordered later never made it to me.

Unfortunately we were forgotten, our food wasn't delivered, then other food was delivered, then the offer to dine for free. No real excuse. Service is better. Now we're sitting in the Frauendorfer, 150 guests, 3 waitresses - and it works. The salvation for Partenkirchen.

The restaurant is centrally located (approx. 10 minutes on foot from the main station). The atmosphere in the restaurant is authentically Bavarian. The service staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent, we had two main courses and a dessert. After the meal there was even a delicious hazelnut schnapps on the house. If you're looking for Bavarian cuisine, you've come to the right place - we definitely recommend it when visiting Garmisch!

The food was good. But the staff should do an apprenticeship at the Oktoberfest. That was exceptionally inattentive, slow and sometimes arrogant.

Yes definitely, we were only there to eat, very courteous staff, the food was extremely tasty, we also got dumplings instead of spaetzle with the very good beef goulash.

We were there with four adults and a small child. Even after 30 minutes we hadn't been served and hadn't even received a card. When we then left the restaurant, the two "service" staff didn't even know that we weren't being served.

Very good, down-to-earth and fairly priced food. The two children's plates for our children were huge and would probably have fed an adult (the leftovers were packed away for us) - that's what I call Bavarian hospitality!

We were only there to eat. A rather simple local restaurant with decent portions, very good, down-to-earth food (asparagus cream soup, dumplings with mushrooms, goulash, schnitzel: all really good) and nice, attentive staff. Garnished with affordable prices. That's how it should be. We'll go back there as soon as we're there again.

The roast pork is simply beautiful and worth the 5 stars. The atmosphere in both the beer garden and the inn is very traditional and that's how it should be.

We had dinner in the restaurant. The Kasspatzen and the schnitzel were very tasty and there was a round of schnapps on the house.

In contrast to the mass fattening in the self-service restaurants in the ski area, you can find quality here at reasonable prices. Greetings to the graduating class of '57, the most difficult class since then. You deserve the good food!

Very friendly service, we were seated spontaneously - despite the many guests, the food came quickly. My onion roast was very tasty, highly recommended. Important: Card payment is not possible, only cash. However, this is also pointed out again.

Now I know why, you get delicious things and you have two very nice ladies there who have everything under control. Erika was an incredibly friendly service. Extremely friendly and attentive. There is no skimping on portions and they are super delicious! I had a lumberjack steak: perfect crust, brilliantly juicy meat and fried potatoes true to their names. Highly recommended!

Waren gerade mit unserer Tochter (3) zum Essen am Sylvesterabend. Wurden super freundlich bedient und haben leckeres Essen bekommen. Die entspannte Atmosphäre lag vor allem an der tollen Bedienung (Erika). Mit Kind macht das Essengehen so absolut Spaß. Danke für den gelungenen Abend an das gesamte Team.

Byliśmy tylko zjeść, ale wszystko było super. Szczególnie schabowy z grzybami leśnymi i strudel zapadły w pamięci. Warto odwiedzić jeśli chcemy zjeść coś dobrego.

Essen sehr lecker! Bedienung (eine Dame von Zweien) sehr unprofessionell. Wir saßen im hinteren Teil, hätte mal eine Renovierung nötig und es machte einen unaufgeräumten Eindruck. Ambiente daher eher Daumen runter.

So ein toller Gasthof!!! Super nettes Personal (vor allem die Wirtin) und leckeres Essen zu topp Preisen. Wir waren für einen Kurzurlaub in Garmisch-Partenkirchen und sind am ersten Tag dort eingekehrt und am letzen Abend gleich noch mal (da zur Sicherheit mit Reservierung). Einfach empfehlenswert!

Wir hatten zwei tolle Abende im Gasthof zur Linde. Die Bedienung Erika hat uns super Bewirtet, sie ist sehr freundlich trotz vollem Haus. Das Hefe weizen ist Frisch gezapft und schmeckte dadurch umso besser. Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker. Dafür auf jeden Fall 5 Sterne plus. Man schmeckt das mit Liebe gekocht wurde. Alles in allem ist das Gasthaus zur Linde sehr zu empfehlen. Außerdem bekommt man alles noch zu einem Fairen Preis wo man auch gerne mal ein Trinkgeld gibt 😉

Lokal befindet sich in ruhige Lage. Das Essen war sehr lecker und nette Bedienung.

Essen war gut potioniert und hat gut geschmeckt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat bei den Kässspätzen voll gepasst. Service war freundlich und aufmerksam.

Gut bürgerliche Küche und passender Service. Wenn man allerdings erstmal 500 m zum Geldautomaten laufen muss um zu bezahlen ist das nicht zeitgemäß. Es gibt inzwischen so viele günstige Möglichkeiten Kartenzahlung anzubieten, so etwas ist in einem Ort der vom Tourismus lebt nicht nachvollziehbar.

Essen und Trinken waren sehr lecker. Die Kellnerin auch sehr nett und freundlich, waren sehr auf Zack gewesen. Die Speisekarte war auch mehr als ausreichend, das ist richtige bayrische Küche gewesen. Das Restaurant drinn auch richtig schön bayrisch urig, einfach herrlich. Wir saßen auf der Terrasse außen und das war auch sehr gemütlich. Faire Preise für gute Portionen. Wir kommen wieder!

Could be the best food of our trip. The steak and potatoes were outstanding and the schnitzel was excellent as well. We didn’t have a reservation but arrived early, 17:30 and we were seated. They were booked after 19:00, it was a Friday.

We had a great dinner here, really good food and traditional bavarian dishes. Staff is great. We did not have a reservation, but they managed to squeeze us in :) They do not speak very good english, but do their best :)

We are currently traveling through Oberbayern. We decided to go for a Restaurant with traditional kitchen. We got a table in the Linden. I ordered a Zigeunerschnitzel, my wife ordered a plate of Salad with Chicken. The food was ok but not great, the price was fair. The service was friendly.

Good very good. We are vegetarian and there is a limited menu here for us. Beer very good with wide choice. Also had some Austrian dry white wine which was very well priced. Not an issue because we coped but my German is 30 year old GCSE. The staff here speak no English so make sure you have a bit of German before coming here. A few things I asked were lost in translation but that added to fun. Staff lovely and friendly.

Mein Gulasch war gut, Spätzle waren leider fad und auch der Zwiebelrostbraten der Kollegen sah jetzt nicht so toll aus (sehr dünnes Stück Fleisch). Hatte mir etwas mehr erwartet.
