Wonderful restaurant. Simply excellent value for money, the food tastes fantastic. The service was quick, so we didn't have to wait long. The ladies were also super friendly. All around, perfect and impeccable. We highly recommend it.

A very busy, rustic restaurant. Without a reservation, we probably wouldn't have gotten a seat that evening. The restaurant serves traditional Bavarian cuisine. The quality of the food was good, but the dishes were presented somewhat carelessly. The wait time was okay. It's a shame, however, that so many tables are so close together. This makes it quite noisy and, in our opinion, stressful. This was also noticeable in the service. The service seemed irritated when we asked about the food during the ordering process; they could have been more hospitable and attentive. The menu is unsuitable for vegans and vegetarians. No card payments accepted.

We barely had our drinks and the food arrived so quickly. The spaetzle were hard, and the food was definitely not as fresh as promised. They were constantly checking the tables to see if we were ready (pressure). Not recommended.

We went to this wonderful restaurant for dinner, serving traditional Bavarian cuisine. There were four adults and one small child. The service was super friendly and attentive. The food was incredibly delicious. The price-performance ratio is excellent. If you want delicious Bavarian food, this is the place for you. Of course, there's also something for our little guests. This restaurant is highly recommended.

More than five stars – the Flößerstuben are simply outstanding! For me, the best restaurant in all of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The ambiance is cozy, yet impressive, and designed with great attention to detail – you immediately feel at home. The welcome is always warm, as if you were coming home. The food: a dream. The hunter's schnitzel and venison goulash, in particular, are of a quality you won't find anywhere else. The sauces are perfectly balanced – a true composition of flavors where every element works harmoniously together. Everything is just perfect here: atmosphere, service, and quality. We're already looking forward to eating here again on our next vacation – as always, it's an absolute highlight!

A rustic Bavarian restaurant in the heart of Garmisch. As expected, the dining room was packed in the evening. The food (venison goulash) was very tasty, although I would have preferred a slightly larger portion. I'd gladly return.

For us, the Flößerstube is now one of the best Bavarian restaurants in Garmisch! The quiet ambiance is reminiscent of the past, the service is exceptionally friendly, and the owner is typically Bavarian and always very friendly! All dishes are highly recommended, only the Kasspatzln could use a bit more cheese 😉 Haxn (Hawk) and all schnitzels are absolutely fantastic and have excellent meat quality, and they are also very well prepared! The children's menu is extensive, and the dishes are quite large. The prices for all dishes are pleasantly reasonable and by no means excessive. The beer served is at the perfect temperature; all in all, the Flößerstube is highly recommended! Important: Unfortunately, they do not accept IC cards. You definitely need to make a reservation in advance. Otherwise, you might end up waiting quite a long time because there are no available tables. We would love to come back!!

In this small, quaint restaurant, you're warmly welcomed, and not just expected to eat/pay/quickly clear your table. The food is excellent, the portions almost a bit too large. The prompt, friendly service is outstanding: the ladies make every effort to accommodate each guest. And if there really isn't a seat available, they'll suggest another time (always polite! Unlike many other restaurants in GaPa). We've been here several times and have always felt very comfortable.

Top-notch, home-style restaurant We've known the Flößerstube for many years. The home-style cooking is impressively handcrafted and delicious. It's worth noting that convenience foods are avoided. All ingredients are cooked by hand (e.g., bread dumplings, sauces, roasts, schnitzel, and even hollandaise sauce). That's a rarity these days. And the chefs know their job. The service is always friendly and fast. It can fill up quickly, so pre-ordering is recommended.

I was waiting before it opened, and a few other groups were waiting too, so I got in. The restaurant isn't very big, but it's cozy and not too noisy, making it a great place to enjoy a quiet meal. Since I don't speak German, they gave me an English menu, and the male server was incredibly friendly from the moment he took my order, which made me feel great. He even asked if my food was good while I was eating😭 The table next to me barely spoke English, but he kept asking questions and taking my order👍👍 The schnitzel came with cranberry sauce, which was sweet and delicious, and the cucumber potato salad was fresh and delicious! I thought the goulash was only made with venison, but they didn't have goulash that day, so they recommended a different deer cut. I tried it, and it tasted just like pork! The pickled red cabbage tasted exactly like Korean stir-fried kimchi. This was the best meal I had during my week-long trip to Germany! Cash only!!

We went there for the first time today during our vacation. The service was fantastic; the staff were all super friendly and accommodating, and everything was straightforward and quick. We had the Wiener Schnitzel and the Jäger Schnitzel. Both are definitely recommended: delicious, fresh, and great value for money. We will definitely be back!

We were delighted from the very first minute. The waitress had the right heart, was very attentive, and gave us good advice. Small special requests were no problem, and the food was excellent. Everyone enjoyed the roast pork, cheese spaetzle, and even the duck. We'll definitely be back.

There's a changing daily menu as well as the traditional Bavarian selection of hearty meals. The cheese spaetzle with spicy mountain cheese was simply delicious, accompanied by a cool beer and a toast.

We've been to the "Flößerstuben" for dinner several times during our vacations over the past few years. This time, too, it was very nice: a great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and super delicious food (including the world's best knuckle of pork with sauce and dumplings). We give it 5 stars in every respect and will definitely be back on our next vacation.

Food okay - Frittaten soup (unfortunately as pancake soup) was good, roast venison was a bit dry and could have used more sauce. Restaurant okay but - 1960s payment standard: no card payment whatsoever. In a tourist resort. In the year 2025. For me it's not so much about being taken for a ride (it's at the entrance anyway) but rather that this only thing is true is exactly one reason why Germany is rightly considered a service desert. What is the reason, dear operators? Devices start at around €20, and 'but the expenses'... you have to count cash, book it in and take it to the bank. Costs the same.

It was probably the best venison goulash I've ever tasted. That says it all.

Had dinner this Tuesday. The pork knuckle was fried until crusty. Wild goulash was a bit too dry, but it was still tasty. We wanted to go again on Thursday evening, but unfortunately it was a rest day. Really wanted to try the fitness plate. Nice atmosphere and the people are very nice. Highly recommended
