True Bavarian restaurant. A bit small, but very welcoming and cozy place. The food is very delicious and portions are generous. And the staff is truly nice - warm and fuzzy kudos to Pani Katarina. Dziakujem!

We had a fantastic roast venison and knuckle of pork. We spontaneously got a table with a highchair. The service was very friendly, and the baby's porridge was warmed up immediately and happily. The food was truly delicious!

There's a changing daily menu as well as the traditional Bavarian selection of hearty meals. The cheese spaetzle with spicy mountain cheese was simply delicious, accompanied by a cool beer and a toast.

We've been to the "Flößerstuben" for dinner several times during our vacations over the past few years. This time, too, it was very nice: a great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and super delicious food (including the world's best knuckle of pork with sauce and dumplings). We give it 5 stars in every respect and will definitely be back on our next vacation.

We arrived 10 minutes before opening. No problem, we were allowed to choose our seats. The food was very good. Service was top-notch. Humorous and attentive. The ladies did a great job. We'd love to come back.

Food okay - Frittaten soup (unfortunately as pancake soup) was good, roast venison was a bit dry and could have used more sauce. Restaurant okay but - 1960s payment standard: no card payment whatsoever. In a tourist resort. In the year 2025. For me it's not so much about being taken for a ride (it's at the entrance anyway) but rather that this only thing is true is exactly one reason why Germany is rightly considered a service desert. What is the reason, dear operators? Devices start at around €20, and 'but the expenses'... you have to count cash, book it in and take it to the bank. Costs the same.

Lovingly furnished restaurant. Traditional cuisine with classics such as venison goulash and roast. Vegetarians will only find limited options, such as salad. If you wish, you can also get dumplings with red cabbage and sauce. Full barrel of beer. Delicious

It was probably the best venison goulash I've ever tasted. That says it all.

Had dinner this Tuesday. The pork knuckle was fried until crusty. Wild goulash was a bit too dry, but it was still tasty. We wanted to go again on Thursday evening, but unfortunately it was a rest day. Really wanted to try the fitness plate. Nice atmosphere and the people are very nice. Highly recommended

A great visit to the restaurant – as always! We once again enjoyed the schnitzel and the vegetarian cheese spaetzle, and as always the food was simply fantastic! The schnitzel was tender and crispy, while the vegetarian cheese spaetzle was creamy and full of flavor. Despite the crowds, the service was quick and friendly. As always, we felt very comfortable. What's particularly worth mentioning is that the restaurant only accepts cash payments - but that wasn't a problem for us as we had been here several times and knew this information. It was our fourth visit to this restaurant, each time during our stay in Garmisch, and we will definitely be back!

The WORST customer service I have ever received. Won’t be going back! Don’t recommend, server lady screamed at me. Almost made me cry and made me pay more. Talked to her in German did NOT listen. Stay away.

One of the best traditional Bavarian meals we’ve had. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed everything we ordered. The staff spoke English and was very accommodating. The food prices are very reasonable compared to the other restaurants in the area. Not overpriced and the quality is great. We will definitely be back the next time we visit the Garmisch area.

We stopped in spontaneously, but were still able to get a seat straight away with the information that we would have to accept two other guests at the table of four, which is completely ok without a reservation! Menu offers a lot of choice, food came fairly quickly and was good, even if the cream sauce was a bit salty. The bill took a little longer, but the store was full and the waitress still managed it.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at this charming Bavarian guesthouse! The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were the friendliest we’ve ever met—especially the super cute lady who took care of us. Despite the restaurant being busy, they went out of their way to find a table for all eight of us. The venison goulash was unbelievably delicious—rich, tender, and full of flavor. Just a heads-up: they only accept cash, so come prepared. Highly recommended for a warm, authentic Bavarian experience!

Quaint inn. Menu is manageable, but that's a good thing, everything seems homemade and was delicious. Some of the food was a bit too salty. Service attentive and nice. Disadvantage (01/2025): No card payment, only cash - that's a bit out of date when you have to go to the bank to pay.

As a non-German speaker, this was a really cool place to eat; as authentic as I can imagine. The Jägerschnitzel was incredible, the dunkel was fantastic, and the atmosphere was perfect.

We were here twice during our vacation. Everything was great. Very nice hosts. Would come back at any time. We can particularly recommend the side salad, cheese spaetzle, schnitzel and mushroom sauce.

Unprofessional handling of reservations We had reserved a table, but when we arrived no one knew anything about it. Instead, we were told that two people must sit at a group table - a completely unacceptable concept that ruined our entire evening. Something like this shouldn't happen in a professional restaurant. Very disappointing.

Delicious food - nice atmosphere - nice service

Food is good, everything is homemade, portions are more than enough, typical Bavarian food. Fanta was ancient, didn't taste like Fanta anymore, maybe buy new ones more often. However, the ambience, decoration and mood leave a lot of room for improvement.

We were kindly given a table without a reservation. Well-functioning service even when the restaurant is full. We didn't have to wait long for drinks and food. Price performance fits very well here. Selection on the menu plus several daily specials. We were very satisfied.

Quaint inn in a central location in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We were there shortly after the restaurant opened in the evening. All tables were reserved, but the very friendly landlady assigned us a place, with the condition that we had to be ready with our meal in 90 minutes, as the place would then be reserved. That was OK. for us. When choosing the food and drinks, we enjoyed the cozy design of the dining room, which, thanks to the chamois head and capercaillie on the wall, also made my heart beat faster as a hunter. The food, I had a Jägerschnitzel with spaetzle and my father had a pork knuckle, was excellent and my mother also enjoyed her pancake soup. I would have had to order a salad separately, but my portion was enough and then we went to our accommodation satisfied. Prices were OK too.
