Please please stop using plastic as a container. It is extremly toxic to human health, and to the environment. it has already be forbidden in many countries for these uses such as take out food. Please don't. Everything else was treat. :)

We've been here twice now and each time it was simply delicious. The portions are plentiful, a good price/performance ratio, the staff are always friendly and accommodating.

One of my worst experiences ,customer service was so bad and the waitress/owner was so rude. Like we were 20 people bought so many dishes no one liked anything and the woman was so disrespectful and impolite and had disrespectful condescending tone. Never gonna recommend and go back there.

The food is definitely tip top, the service is courteous, friendly and attentive, the ambience is beautiful inside and the outside area is nice, quiet and with lots of plants around, a real insider tip. Definitely come back!

A cozy Persian restaurant, a beautiful indoor area with atmosphere, the outdoor area invites you to linger and relax! The food and service are absolutely top notch! There was a greeting from the kitchen which was very good and the main course was really perfect! I can really only recommend it ✌️!

Very good Persian restaurant in Freiburg! The starter plate (marinated olives, hummus, yogurt with garlic and eggplant puree) was super tasty, especially the olives. For mains we had Khubide, Zereshk Polo ba Morgh and Gheyme bademjan giahi. All three were super tasty and the meat was nice and juicy. The portions are also large and the saffron was not skimpy on the rice, which gives it a super delicious taste. The saffron lemonade was also very tasty. The service was very nice and a special highlight is the beautiful green garden where you can sit. We will come back in any case!

Full 5 stars, finally the original Iranian dish in Freiburg. “Ghormesabzi” and “Mahitcheh” are a must try. Souffle al Pistacchio is also totally recommended as a dessert with tea. Very very tasty. Very nice and professional people. The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere and you can sit outside or inside. We would love to come back, with international friends and for parties. Really recommended, it's worth it.

I have very bad experience with this restaurant. Staff are rude, food is expensive, we once ordered something and despite delivery costs we ended up having to pick up the order ourselves after waiting 2 hours. Catastrophe. Never again !!!

During our trip to Freiburg we had a great experience at a restaurant. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Even though we arrived during closing times, we received a warm welcome. This restaurant offers a unique experience with its commitment and pleasant surroundings and is highly recommended.

Full 5 stars, finally original Kubideh in Freiburg. Jujeh kabab (chicken skewer) is also a must try. Very nice and professional staff. The restaurant is super nice and also has a beer garden. We recommend! We'd love to come back.

There were enough parking spaces for guests. The operators were extremely friendly and responded to our wishes, which is why I give them 3 stars. I knew Shahaneh from before when they were in the city, and unfortunately I have to be honest and say that the quality of the food has deteriorated somewhat with this change. I'm sincerely sorry to give a less positive review, but I wasn't impressed by the food. Maybe I was just having a bad day. Apart from that, I didn't find the plates on which the food was served to be particularly high quality (plastic), which doesn't really suit Persian style. Therefore, it would be advisable to replace the plates, and the interior design could also be made brighter and more Persian.

A wonderful little Levantine restaurant. A super warm service rounds off the visit. The mixed starter was excellent, the dip made from yoghurt and wild Persian garlic was great to eat. For the main course I had grilled chicken and I have never eaten such juicy grilled meat. Last but not least: A great playlist - thanks for the nice evening.

Das Team dort ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Als ich mit meiner Freundin dort war, wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Trotz vollem Haus wurden uns noch zwei Plätze angeboten, was uns sehr positiv überrascht hat. Das Essen war einfach köstlich, und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war mehr als fair. Ich kann das Restaurant Shahaneh wirklich jedem ans Herz legen. Es war ein rundum gelungener Abend!

Hands down the best Persian restaurant in the area. I got the Vaziri kabab and it did not disappoint. Generous quantity and great quality. People are also nice and welcoming. As an Iranian person, I totally recommend!

Unser Essen sollte mit Hähnchenbrust sein. Am Ende war es nur ein trockener Schenkel. Die karamellisierten Zwiebeln gem. Karte waren am Ende ein paar Röstzwiebeln aus der Dose. Die Würzung entsprach auch mehr der europäischen Küche als der persischen. Auch die Vorspeise überzeugte uns nicht. Wir waren echt enttäuscht nach den positiven Rezensionen.

Schönes, mit viel Herzblut eingerichtetes persisches Restaurant in Freiburg. Service freundlich, das Essen gut. Der Reis ist himmlisch. Lammspieß war nicht ganz durch, diesen konnte ich leider nicht essen. Hähnchenbrustfilet (juje) war etwas seltsam mariniert, gut , es ist Geschmackssache. Lammrücken war sehr zart, und sehr lecker. Vorspeisenteller (Kashk) war lecker, Brot ist heiß, insgesamt waren wir zufrieden.

So far, I went to Shahane restaurant twice and I was satisfied both times. I went there for the first time with 14 of my colleagues and I am definitely happy that we were able to present Iranian culture well through this restaurant. The very respectful behaviour of the staff, the friendly and calm atmosphere, the cleanliness of the restaurant, the pleasant quality of the food, the generosity of the staff and the very fair price are strong reasons for me to go to this restaurant again and I would like to suggest you to go there and have a try at least once. Nice, cozy, calm eating atmosphere, both indoor and outdoor Biergarten, near to Freiburg neighborhood area. Free high quality music from a music hall beside while eating and drinking. Very friendly staff and nice Persian flavors food, I love those spices!

Ich verstehe einfach die Schlechte Kommentare nicht. Wir waren zum erste Mal dort . Alles hat gepasst (und ich weiß wovon ich rede, ich bin selber iraner). Das Essen war perfekt, die Bedienung war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen auf jedenfalls wieder, wenn wir wieder in Freiburg sind. Top weiter so.....👌👌
