Was für eine angenehme Überraschung! Ein herzlicher Empfang, schneller Service und vor allem riesige Portionen – und es war köstlich!

Schade, so unhöfliches Personal. Erschreckend, wenn man als Kunde versteht, was das Personal im vermeintlichen Schutz der Muttersprache so über die Kundschaft schwätzt. Setzen, 6, AMK 🤌

Der beste Döner Kebab, den ich je gegessen habe! Der zweitplatzierte Laden kann da nicht mithalten. Dieser frisch gebackene Prachtkerl ist vollgepackt mit frischem Rohkostgemüse und Fleisch/Falafel. Außerdem gibt es viele gute vegetarische Optionen und freundliches Personal.

Ich wohne in Berlin und kenne keinen ansatzweisen so guten vegetarischen yufka bzw dürüm mit falafel und hallumi dort. Der mit Fleisch ist auch gut:)

Ich kam richtig hungrig an, habe einen Yufka mit extra Fleisch bestellt und einen richtig großen Yufka mit viel extra Fleisch bekommen ohne einen Aufpreis. Ehre an euch, ihr werdet mein neuer stammdöner in Freiburg werden 💪🏼

Die Fladen für den Yufka-Kebab sind sehr lecker – sie werden hier vor Ort selbst ausgerollt und sofort gebacken.

Alles platzt auseinander wie Kraut und Rüben Die Tomate hat’s geschlotzt.

Mashallah, der Kebab war unglaublich gut, die Hygiene war perfekt, der Empfang war herzlich und sie waren sehr geschickt im Umgang mit dem Teig, alhamdulillah.

Wir aßen Döner Kebab mit Rind- und Hähnchenfleisch. Das Restaurant hatte türkisches Personal. Es gibt dort auch Pizza und verschiedene Kebab-Gerichte. Der Döner Kebab war unglaublich sättigend. Ich hänge ein Foto mit einem Getränk an, damit man sich die Größe besser vorstellen kann.

We spontaneously went there on December 30th because our usual place was closed. We got two yufkas. It was very busy, and while the guys were friendly, they were clearly stressed. We weren't asked which meat we wanted. And they didn't have the capacity for another order—oh well. Never mind. All in all, though, we would come back. Everything was fresh and delicious.

The staff were very friendly, but both kebabs were cold. The vegetables they serve are so cold that everything gets chilled. I've never had a cold kebab before, especially in winter when you crave something hot.

Wir haben drei verschiedene Gerichte probiert und alles war köstlich und reichlich. Außerdem war der Service schnell und das Restaurant sauber. Wir haben durchschnittlich 13 € pro Person bezahlt. Für diesen Preis ist es fantastisch! Wir können es wärmstens empfehlen.

Voll, voller am Vollsten 😄verdient gut bewertet, das Essen geht schnell und die Jungs sind super auf Zack. Scharen von Jungvolk aber auch Familien sind hier zu Gast und werden zuverlässig und flott bedient Die Lage in Freiburg ist top, das Lokal hat an Gemütlichkeit noch Luft nach oben.

Packed, packed, packed! 😄 Deserves a good rating; the food comes quickly and the guys are super efficient. Hordes of young people and families frequent this place and are served reliably and promptly. The location in Freiburg is excellent, but the restaurant could be more cozy.

Absolutely delicious. The meat was very tender, the veggies crisp and everything was very flavorful. They have a few tables on the 2nd floor and outside, or you can grab something to go. Prices are very reasonable as well.

It used to be great. Especially late at night, it was usually worth a visit. But unfortunately, there's no such thing as moderation when it comes to chili powder anymore; "a little spicy" is no longer a concept. Either there's no hot powder at all, or your mouth and anus suffer. It's a real shame, considering the prices these days, it's not really worth it anymore. Still a lifesaver in an emergency, though.

First, he took the cash, touched the money, and then prepared the food without washing his hands or putting on gloves. When I asked him to make me a new pair of gloves, he became very rude. The food was still delicious!

Great location in the heart of the city center, with seating for on-site dining. The benches in the window niches could use some updating, but otherwise very pleasant. The salad at the counter seemed super fresh, and our dishes (doner kebab plate, durum (doughnut), and grilled vegetables) were attractively presented and tasted excellent. The prices were still perfectly reasonable – overall, a highly recommended place!

The food was okay. The doner kebab was a bit small for €8 and really old-school. The taste was rather bland and similar to what you'd expect from 10 years ago. The quality wasn't particularly special either. There was only one sauce to choose from. On the plus side, the salad looked fresh. The falafel box didn't impress me either. Bland and boring. The sauce could be stronger. The price was in line with other top-notch doner kebab shops, but I wouldn't get a doner kebab here for €8. Service: was okay. Ambience: Relatively old flatbread. Could use a renovation or a fresh coat of paint.

If you like things a little more expensive, this is the place for you. I found the food to be average. A very chaotic crowd, but somehow they manage to sort it all out. You can go there, but you can also go somewhere else...

I've probably eaten more than 200 durums in my life, across different countries and of different types. This one definitely makes the top 5. If you like durums, eat one. Don't be stupid.

Everything was fine, the food was acceptable. But one waiter shouted "Youssef" at someone – it honestly ruined my appetite. His manner of serving the food was so disrespectful, as if he were giving it away rather than providing a service. That was truly disappointing. Employees like that ruin business and drive away customers.

The Dadan Grill has an acceptable to good "daytime" kebab and a very good "nighttime" kebab. The quality of the kebab is consistently good and can be described as the second-best kebab in Freiburg. The service is friendly and sometimes cheerful. Conclusion: Dadan kebab is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, almost always, but not necessarily. It's a solid kebab. It's important to take your kebab with you and not eat it in the restaurant/snack bar, because the condition on the second floor is often unsustainable. Even with a large number of customers, a minimum of clean tables should be provided. Unfortunately, the tables are sticky, greasy, and sitting in the restaurant is simply no fun, which makes even a good kebab taste less good. It's better to go home or go downtown, to the Dreisam River, just not in the restaurant.

The food wasn't good at all. Prices were overpriced. The meat was mushy and had a bit of a fungus. I'll never eat there again. €2.50 for a water. The staff didn't speak German. I was afraid of food poisoning.

We're visiting from Saarland and were looking for the best kebab in Freiburg and tried Dadan. Definitely worth a visit! Delicious crispy bread, good meat, and a tasty sauce. The staff were very friendly. We'd be happy to come back next time.

We were in Freiburg for a long weekend and went out for dinner nearby. Admittedly, we weren't expecting much, but we were proven wrong. The yufkas were divine! So much so, we visited this place three times in total. No complaints, great quality, keep up the good work and see you next time. Update June 2025: Everything is still 100%, the homemade stuffed llamacuns are out of this world. The best I've had anywhere in the world so far!! Perfect guys, always hard-working despite the high heat, and the food is simply top-notch!

Incredible spot, so good we came back 2 nights in a row. I have had a lot of doner across Germany and this has been the best by far! Prices are good, portions are big. Both chicken and falafel are tasty. You can eat indoors, outside, or take to go. If I come back to Freiburg I will literally only eat here!

Doner kebab was pretty good and very juicy, I really liked the sauce which made it very flavorful. They dint have some items on the menu otherwise it was a pretty good experience.

Food was as expected. The comfort and cleanliness could be much better. The prices for drinks are not mentioned in the menu and are higher than in similar restaurants. There was no soap or paper towel which are must when you need to wash and dry your hands.

We ate a kebab, a yufka and a pide. The kebab tasted good, the pide was particularly tasty and fresh. The Yufka could have been a little warmer, but unfortunately it had already cooled down slightly when it was served. Overall, we were satisfied, even if a little more attention could be paid to order in the area behind the counter.

I ate the best Dürürm ever here! The bread is baked right in front of you, the vegetables are fresh and crunchy and the meat is tender. The amount of sauce is perfect (not too much that the Dürüm is floating in it and not too little). In addition, clean work and friendly staff. I can only recommend it!

Excellent tasty turkish halal food. Prices are a bit above average. The restaurant is a bit narrow and most of the dine in occurs in the second floor. I have to admit that food portions are satisfying.

Chaotic atmosphere and a staff that seems more interested in showcasing themselves than serving customers. The music is too loud, zero attention to guests, and the service is hectic to the point of rudeness. The operators act like they're saving lives, when in reality they're just folding sandwiches with a certain arrogance. Not to mention the ordering system: the name of the dish ("PIZZA!!!") is shouted out as if we were in a barracks, which doesn't exactly help guests feel welcome. Disappointing in every way. It's a shame because the food deserved better service.

If you want to eat a good homemade kebab, this is your place. If you order the rolled kebab, they stretch the bread and heat it on the spot. The meats are very tasty, the sauces very balanced. We also ordered a spectacular pepperoni and cheese pizza. The place is not bad, they have tables upstairs. They serve very quickly and efficiently. I would repeat without hesitation.

Never again ! I have been here many times in the last few years. But now I'll never come back. The dining area is very shabby. When I went to pay, I pointed out to the cashier that the bill was too high because there were other prices on the display board. After a discussion she saw it. There was no apology. Real rip off!

One of the best kebabs I have ever had, fresh vegetables, crispy and tasty meat, the homemade yufta and doner, toasted and crispy. If you have the opportunity go, it has been a very rewarding experience. Also, you don't leave there with a belly ache, as usually happens with most kebabs. It is very light and feels good on your body.

Meat is often only available locally from poultry, but it tastes good and looks attractive. Salad looks and tastes fresh. Doner 8€ and Yufka 8.50€ are very small and too expensive for their size.

Until now I didn't know what a Yufka kebab was. In short, the best kebab I've ever eaten. Crispy and at the same time juicy chicken in a decent amount and perfectly seasoned, fresh vegetables, just the right amount of yogurt sauce and the highlight, locally prepared and freshly baked flatbread, Yufka.
