Although the restaurant was packed, the order was processed very quickly and the food arrived promptly. The quality of the meat is an explosion of flavor! You don't have to chew it at all; it literally melts in your mouth. Anyone wanting authentic Turkish cuisine will find it here, especially with the homemade ayran. I would recommend making a reservation, otherwise you might be out of luck and have to wait.

Last year the food was too salty, so I left my plate. On my next visit, the food was good, but the prices were quite high. Compared to other restaurants, the prices should be raised. Hygiene also needs improvement. Since there are no alternatives in the area, these points should be taken into consideration.

I've been to this restaurant several times in the last few months and, unfortunately, I've noticed some negative changes. I used to be a real fan – the food was plentiful and fresh, and the appetizers were generously served. Back then, each guest received their own small plate with various dips like hummus, eggplant dip, and so on, along with fresh bread from the oven. However, this has changed significantly over the last two or three visits. The portions have become smaller, both for the main courses and the appetizers. This time, there were three of us, and we only received one small shared plate with tiny portions of the dips – so little that it almost seemed stingy. The bread was also only served once, with no refills. Considering the prices, which have actually increased rather than decreased, I find this disappointing. Another negative point: I accidentally miscalculated the bill because I had just returned from vacation and was still thinking in a different currency. The bill came to around €62, and I said, "Make it €80." I didn't realize at the time that I had essentially given a €20 tip—which is really unusual for a €60 bill. The waiter didn't point this out to me but simply accepted the money. I think honest service would have at least asked about it in that situation. Overall, I'm very disappointed. The restaurant used to be one of my favorites, but the smaller portions and this experience with the tip have unfortunately caused me to lose faith in it. I won't be going there again for the time being.

We had reserved a table for seven people and arrived on time – even with a small child. Despite this, we had to wait outside in the cold for over 30 minutes. Despite our clear assurance that the table was reserved for us, it was simply given to other guests! This is absolutely outrageous and demonstrates a complete lack of organization and respect for guests. Such behavior is unacceptable – never again! I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant!!!

We had a 100km drive. When we arrived, we were promised a table for 7 people. After waiting half an hour, other people sat down, and the staff claimed the table was reserved. This is not fair treatment to loyal customers who would have liked to eat there. Therefore, I can only give it 1 star!

I can only recommend eating mentally ill food.

There were four of us eating at Sevgin's. For three of us, it was our first time. We traveled almost 100 km, so we were especially looking forward to the meal. As a starter, we had salad, but unfortunately, my girlfriend found a small fly in it. The salad was replaced, but there was a fly in the next and even the third salad, so she didn't want any more after that. I ordered Beyti: The dough was very thick and tasted more like cheese pide, and the meat (Urfa) was barely seasoned. My husband, on the other hand, thought the Adana was delicious, and the various meze were also tasty. At the end, at my husband's suggestion, we weren't charged for the drinks and the meze. Overall, though, it was disappointing, especially after such a long journey. What a shame...

The food is absolutely delicious! The meat is juicy and tender and the bread is divine. The different spreads are also super yummy!

We visited Sevgin Restaurant and were absolutely thrilled! You feel warmly welcomed as soon as you enter – the atmosphere is warm, friendly, and very homely. The food was excellent: freshly prepared, very aromatic, and authentically Turkish. The meze appetizers and freshly baked pide are particularly recommended – incredibly delicious! The grilled meat dishes were also perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.

The best Turkish restaurant in all of Freiburg. The bread to start with is incredibly delicious, and the meat tastes amazing thanks to the charcoal grill. There were four of us there and we ordered the grill platter for four people for €120. It was delicious and more than enough.

I've eaten here several times now, and the food is always delicious and arrives super quickly. The homemade ayran, the many dips, and the fresh pide are always a highlight!

We have been loyal customers for many years and especially appreciate the delicious food – there's really nothing to complain about in terms of taste. Unfortunately, we've recently noticed that the value for money is increasingly leaving much to be desired. The portions have become smaller, while the prices have risen significantly – this no longer makes sense. What particularly disappoints us: Hygiene has deteriorated significantly. The restrooms downstairs are in desperate need of cleaning and maintenance. The window sills upstairs also don't look well-maintained. Unfortunately, these deficiencies continue in the attached bakery – the sanitary facilities there are also in an unacceptable condition. We very much hope that this will be improved soon – because we actually enjoy coming here. Quality should also include cleanliness and reasonable prices.

We went there for lunch and had an absolutely fantastic experience. There was a wide variety of dishes, and the Turkish grill was incredibly good. We ordered the grill platter and received a generous portion — everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, fast service. We ordered a Karışık Tabak (mixed platter) for €31.90. It was worth it; not only were we full, but we also had some leftovers. The meat was grilled in a charcoal oven; it had such a flavor; we've never tasted anything more delicious. The fluffy, extra-large flatbread was delicious, and the appetizers were also delicious. To finish, we had homemade ayran, which was delicious and we highly recommend it.

Unfortunately very disappointing experience. The name was spelled incorrectly even though I had stated it clearly when ordering. The filling of the cake should be made of chocolate, as agreed and also shown in the picture. Instead, it was filled with vanilla cream and banana pieces - an ingredient I'm allergic to. This is not only unprofessional, but also dangerous to your health. The highlight, however, was a tuft of hair in the middle of the cake! This is absolutely unacceptable and represents a serious hygiene problem. Many thanks to Ibrahim for the friendly treatment - but you also confirmed to me again that the filling was made of chocolate. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this pastry shop in any way and will be contacting the health authority next week.

The food was really delicious. The salad was fresh and Ayran was very tasty and refreshing. Homemade bread is freshly baked and incredibly delicious. I ordered Beyti Kebab and my husband had Adana Kebab – both were great I've eaten these dishes in Istanbul, but I liked them even better here. Even though the restaurant was full, the service was very quick and friendly. Our food was on the table in just ten minutes. Absolute recommendation!

Bro, we are already living on student money, I paid more than 20€ for some rice and wings, you said 8 wings in the application, but you put 6. I said don't add bread, but you did anyway. I wanted some cabbage, but you didn't include that either. The food was very good but I was really disappointed, so I decided to order some food with my tiny student allowance.

The restaurant is really great – great food, nice atmosphere and friendly service. Unfortunately, there are occasionally some guests who behave inconsiderately, which somewhat spoils the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. Nevertheless, it is definitely worth a visit! 😊🍽️✨

An extremely good restaurant. Me and a friend both had Beyti and it was very delicate, with home-baked bread and various types of hummus and spreads, all of which were very tasty. The service was also very attentive and explained to us how the dish was prepared after we had eaten. Simply great.

We reserved a table two weeks ago. But when we entered, we discovered that there was no table available for us. They told us that we could welcome you to the bakery. We went to the bakery, but still waited for fifteen minutes. After we ordered food, it took two hours for our food to arrive. There were eight of us and one of us had an appointment but he lost food. We complained but the staff couldn't speak German. And after a while his colleague came. They brought us the wrong food. And then they hugged the table. The taste of the food was good but we will not visit this restaurant again

One of the best Turkish restaurants I have eaten in so far in Germany. Before the meal, meze and salad were served (on the house). There was also fresh flatbread straight from the oven. Only very, very few restaurants manage to create a good Adana. Here the Adana was simply perfect. Perfectly marinated with the right spiciness. The meat was juicy. The lamb skewer (Kuzu Sis) was also very tasty. The meat was taken off the grill at almost the right time. When the meal was served, the meat was still really hot. You rarely have something like that. The side dishes complemented the whole thing perfectly - there was delicious ezme and excellent onion with sumac. The store itself is rather inconspicuous from the outside. The interior is modest, but everything is very clean. The meat is neatly and neatly layered in the glass display case. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. You feel very well served and at the same time left in peace. Overall, an absolute recommendation.

There is one star for friendliness. The price-performance ratio is not right at all. We ordered something to take away. Of the two children's meals there was only the meat with fries version. The vegetable skewer with fries was not available - even though we had another dish with grilled vegetables and the local guests also had grilled vegetables on their plates. Selling a small portion of fries and a meat skewer for €9.90 is outrageous. Especially since there isn't even ketchup btw. Added mayonnaise. The other dish didn't taste like grilled food, but rather grilled. The quantity also left a lot to be desired at €11.50.

Simply pure enjoyment! The meat is a poem (Adana, lamb chop, chicken) and with a delicious charcoal taste, the bread is fluffy and crispy, the salad is fresh, the meze spreads are delicious. As a Viennese, the comparison bar is really high, but this place offers really authentic cuisine. The team is very friendly, professional and very hard working. Recommendation! That doesn't make it all that bad after all. The food (I had the lamb plate) was very tasty. Especially the lamb ribs. The meat is very tasty and the taste of the charcoal grill is great. All in all very successful, always happy. Would recommend it to everyone.

Nice restaurant, the dishes are very good and the service is top notch! The only downside is the noise in the room and the seats which are very small! We feel very tight... In addition, the toilets are not very clean and need to be cleaned regularly. And be careful, there is no parking on site but nearby, so allow time to look for a parking space.

The mixed plate for 2 is enough for 3 people, I recommend it. You can order extra Pommes or one of the appetizers on the side. You get to taste all the grills and it is very satisfying. But they don't serve tea, which made us sad.

It was very tasty, I would go there again and again. We spontaneously decided to eat in Freiburg after a visit to Europa Park. Luckily we decided on Sevgin Ocakbasi. Service is very good and the food is very tasty. Unfortunately they don't have any dessert, but I didn't think that was a problem, which is why I didn't put a star on it. Was a good end to our day trip. (Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the food, it looked very good)
