Veggie Liebe in Freiburg im Breisgau

We ordered currywurst and it came with a sausage with fries (not “fried potato fries” as they say online, no difference to the normal ones) WITHOUT (!!!) curry sauce. It's not a currywurst and it's just cheeky to charge €10 for it. Otherwise the food is quite good but just too expensive for what it is.

We were there on Sunday and the persona was very unmotivated to work and the order was provided for us to take away even though we wanted to eat there and communicated that. The food was cold and not very nicely prepared e.g. B. the ingredients were old and the yufkas were not full so that the yufkas rolled poorly or had no hold. Not impressive at all. Only the atmosphere was fine.

Only "milk & honey" soap was provided in the bathroom. That's just a no-go for a place that tries to include vegans. The sweet potato fries were great! A bit salty tho. The vegan plate we had was kinda bland tho.

I live vegan and wanted a vegan pinsa with vegan salami and vegan cheese. However, I got a pizza with milk and cheese. When I was surprised at the table that the cheese looked so much like dairy cheese and asked, I was assured it was vegan cheese. However, when a friend of mine asked again at the counter and wanted to pack it up, we found out that it wasn't vegan cheese. NEVER AGAIN!

Order canceled at time of delivery. We waited 50 minutes for our food, which we paid for in advance. When it was supposed to come it said “order cancelled”. It is a disgrace to let customers believe that the food is on the way and not to deliver it in the end. First and last order.

Danger! Food poisoning after eating at VeggiLiebe! Tofu wrap was probably not that fresh anymore. Unfortunately, after contacting me, there was not even an answer, let alone an apology.

Food was good, in my opinion too expensive. Advice unfriendly. After being informed several times that we wanted to take the food with us, it was served to us to eat on site. Had to be repacked again.

I had the vegan currywurst with the fried potato fries. The food was very tasty, especially the fries were really great! The portion was also decent. I just wished there was a little more sauce. The service was also very friendly and nice. I'd love to come back when I'm in Freiburg again.

We ended up at Veggie-Liebe by chance - and there were five of us there: family from 16 to 82 (!). All five were happy: from the offer to the selection, the advice when ordering and ultimately with what was put on the plate. I myself had the fallafel wrap with bulgur, grilled vegetables etc - and - hot sauce. Otherwise vegan curry sausage (also delicious & large portion),... everything delicious, everything clean, the staff friendly, short "delivery time", i.e. from ordering to "food is ready". You get a table buzzer for this. The five of us spent €56 including drinks. €11.20 per person with everything - suits us. Bottom line: very tasty, quick, healthy and filling. It's now firmly on our "Freiburg list" :)

I pointed out at the checkout that I wanted the student menu for 8.50. In the end I had to pay €9. No transparency shown. Responded very annoyedly to questions about the products. This applies to all of our orders (5) The service was extremely bad. The iced tea and the vegan seitan roll, however, were very tasty. It's a shame that the store leaves an overall negative impression.

The service was super friendly and the price was ok too There are also more special things like arancini or baklava and tiramisu I had slight stomach problems after the Pinsa with Seitan, but that could also be my fault It definitely fills you up quickly, and the mozzarella is better than some pizza cheese

I haven't been vegan for very long now. And I'm looking for variety, what can I say. Found! My question about can you put something delicious together for me would immediately be answered with yes. I was only asked whether it was big or small. That's how it was, hmmmmm really good and fresh. Thank you, I'll come back at every opportunity.

I enjoy eating here.☺️ I can especially recommend the Veggie Love plate. 🌱 My only criticism is that the "rolled" ones sometimes have different taste, sometimes they taste delicious and sometimes there is still room for improvement. There is enough space inside and outside, the prices are relatively reasonable. All in all, highly recommended for vegetarians and vegans. 🐷❤️

Expandable. Had a falafel burger with sweet potato fries with chili sauce. The burger was too dry for me... Hardly any sauce and the falafel was tasty but fried for too long. And the salad consisted of iceberg lettuce as a filler... I also found a bit of cucumber, but that didn't really make the difference. The fries were good and the chili sauce was tasty and quite spicy. So less fried and maybe a slice of tomato and I give it a real 4 stars and not just 3 for the food and 5 for the ambience 🤷🏻‍♂️

Attention has been paid to the aesthetics, the owner has created a visually attractive space. Pity that no effort was made during recruitment, leading to rude, disinterested service. Note: very few vegan choices. Pommes frites were burnt to a carbon crisp. Avoid at all costs.

We both ordered the Falafel Plate, which was a delicious combination of dishes. A lot of food! The man gladly made one of the plates gluten-free by adjusting the mix of dishes. Fun to sit outside and watch all the trams go by. Also great vegetarian arancini!

I've loved eating there ever since Veggie Love existed because everything is delicious without exception. I also like the super nice, warm staff!

Food was good, furnishings were simple but okay, service was poor. Each of our orders was received with very critical facial expressions. My question as to whether I could have vegan cheese on the rolled one was answered in the negative - despite signs on the tables that said "everything also has vegan cheese".

We ate here and both of our stomachs were upset. We had burgers and fries, both with hummus. Unfortunately the only vegan sauce. Since then we have had stomach aches and diarrhea, we suspect that the hummus was not refrigerated or was somehow not good anymore. It tasted strange. Otherwise the food was rather mediocre. The people were friendly and the atmosphere wasn't bad at all, but for an upset stomach I can only give it one star.

Everything was very tasty except for the falafel itself, which I found to be too hard and not that tasty. The rest of the falafel plate was really tasty. The ambience is well done, but the chairs don't invite you to linger for long.

Vegan curry sausage is not recommended - unfortunately only fries with ready-made curry ketchup and a mini sausage. Simply too expensive for that.

Super friendly staff. Very cheerful seller. Food is also incredibly tasty. The atmosphere is relaxed and the stay is therefore pleasant. It gets chilly if you sit near the door as it is often opened. In general, the place is highly recommended for vegetarians and vegans.

We also ate with you and are totally happy. We have been vegan for a long time and are very enthusiastic about your fantastic dishes. Super nice little restaurant, a paradise for vegetarians and vegans. There is everything your heart desires here, we had the vegan bratwurst and a vegetable pinsa, everything was really tasty, the pinsa is worth the money. Great service, very nice and friendly staff, we would love to come back

Gutes, solides veganes Essen 😊 sehr empfehlenswert. Es gibt viele verschiedene Dinge von Falafel über Burger, Pinsa und Salate. Hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es gibt Kinderstühle für Kleinkinder.

Sehr leckere und frische Sachen für den Veganer ein Leckerbissen.

Super alternative für den klassischen veggi-döner. Vielseitige Karte mit leckerem essen. Personal war sehr nett und hat uns Zeit beim studieren der Karte gelassen. Die Mahlzeiten wurden uns nach nichteinmal 5 Minuten gereicht und haben sehr lecker und frisch geschmeckt. Der Preis ist stolz aber zu verstehen. Beim nächsten Besuch in Freiburg gerne wieder.

Absolut bestes vegetarisches Essen in ganz Freiburg! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ganz ehrlich, ich wohne schon eine Weile in Freiburg und have einige vegetarische Restaurants durch. Die Veggie Liebe ist absolut hervorragend! Das Essen überzeugt mit einem phänomenalen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Noch nie hatte ich einen so guten Hallumi Burger mit knackig leckeren Süßkartoffeln. Der Salat dazu war auch ein Genuss. Dann durfte man sich auch noch Dipps aussuchen. Jedes Gericht war eine positive kulinarische Erfahrung. Zu allem kommt das harmonische Ambiente vor Ort. Alles ist sauber und liebevoll mit Pflanzen dekoriert. Der Höhepunkt des Abends waren aber die netten und witzigen Herren hinter der Theke, die auch bedient haben. Man merkt, dass sie ihren Job lieben. Wundervolle Menschen, die uns als Höhepunkt einfach so Baklava geschenkt haben. Von dem Geschmack und der Frische waren wir überwältigt. Niemals zuvor habe ich solch gute Baklava gegessen. Nicht zu süß, die perfekte Zitronen-Note. Der Abend in der Veggie Liebe wst ein maximaler Genuss. Meine Begleitung und ich haben das Restaurant nun zu unserem Liebling auserkoren und werden sehr gerne immer wieder herkommen. Absolute Empfehlung! Update: Der Hummus ist gut und der Laden brummt. Besonders kann ich den Avocado-Süsskartoffel-Hummus Teller empfehlen. Als Preis Leistungs Hit ist der Hanf Yufka mit Bio Tofu für 7,90€ sehr empfehlenswert. Wer etwas Anderes nimmt, macht einen Fehler. Der Service ist wirklich sehr gut.

Veggie Liebe is my go to place to get vegan food during the week. The food is always fresh and depending on what you get, even healthy. I love getting the Avocado-Hummus-Süsskartoffel-Teller. It's a good sized portion and I always feel satisfied afterwards. You don't have to wait too long for the food to be ready. The inside is simple, but has a nice atmosphere. One of the few fully vegan/vegetarian places in Freiburg.

Ich habe eine leckere Suppe gegessen, die nur leider nicht wirklich warm war. Dazu war die Tür offen und es war ziemlich kalt. Mein Bruder war mit seinem Falafel Teller sehr zufrieden. Und weil die Bedienung super freundlich war gebe ich gerne 5 Sterne.

A superb place to get some food. Located directly next to the tram station it's easy to get to. The place is nicely decorated, has a lot of seating but still feels spacious and comfortable. The food is great, with an all vegetarian and largely vegan menu. The food is prepared on the spot with new fruits and vegetables being delivered every now and again. The menu might seem a little confusing at first but just gives justice to the many different dishes available and the staff are happy to assist with the decision at all times. The staff is always helpful, super friendly and in a good mood. All of the food is rather affordable especially when taking the great quality of it into account. All in all a great place that you should definitely visit when around.

Die guten Google Rezensionen haben es uns auf der Suche nach einem vegan/vegetarischen Restaurant in Freiburg leicht gemacht und wir haben ‚veggie Liebe‘ angesteuert. Die gesamte Gestaltung des Restaurants und der Karte haben mir schon richtig zugesagt, die Bedienung war super nett und gut gelaunt und die Auswahl war riesig! Als wir uns dann endlich entschieden haben, kam das Essen zügig, sah super appetitlich aus, die Portionsgrößen waren großzügig und das Essen war sehr frisch und lecker. Absolut zu empfehlen!
