Very good burgers not far from the main train station. They also have a good selection of vegan and vegetarian burgers, which are also very tasty. The curly fries are very crunchy and a bit greasy, but very tasty. Definitely worth a visit!

I was truly impressed by this burger joint, simply wow. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the location is unbeatable, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. You can immediately tell that they put their heart and soul into their work. The burgers are a real highlight: freshly prepared, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly juicy. The sides, especially the crispy fries and homemade sauces, are also a delight. Even children and families are well catered for; there are child-sized portions, and everyone feels welcome. I absolutely cannot understand the very good reviews. The pizza was frozen, and the portion of fries (mixed fries are available for an extra €1.50 on the menu) was tiny. The burger wasn't very good either. The patty was probably frozen as well. The price for the meal with burger, fries, and a drink is completely exorbitant. You can find much better value for money in the immediate vicinity of Freiburg. The service wasn't particularly friendly either. They forgot my ketchup. I certainly won't be visiting this place again.

I can't understand the reviews. The meat in the burger had a disgusting texture. It was the worst burger I've ever seen. My wife's was just as terrible. The service wasn't particularly good either.

Edit: This restaurant is using the positive reviews of its predecessor, Veggie Liebe, to its advantage. Hence one star because this tactic creates a false impression.

Writing this review while I'm still sitting inside with a full stomach. I got the Golden Smash meal with fries, and it was fantastic. From the patties and the sauces to the seasoning of the fries, everything was simply amazing, especially for such a relatively reasonable and, above all, fair price. The staff were also very friendly, and the place is a cozy little corner where you can enjoy your meal in peace. Definitely the best burger I've ever had in my life. Honestly!

Best burgers ever! We were on a school trip, the service was super friendly and the food was delicious.

Its very cheap but friets were soggy and patty was salty and full of oil but no juicy at all. I believe lots of positive reviews are for previous owner. None of those food are in the menu.

I took a cheeseburger and a Pepsi to go (you can take it with you, even if it's in a glass). It's a shame they don't offer a menu with the cheeseburger; the other menu options didn't quite appeal to me.

The best part was the drink. SchwipSchwap from the bottle. Enough praise, I waited 15 minutes for my burger, which was McD's standard. Nothing special, but importantly, Halal. The 4.8 stars are unfortunately fake.

I had a hot dog and a spicy currywurst delivered. The hot dog was okay, but the spicy version was really tasty. Not too much cheese sauce, and not too hot jalapenos. Just delicious. I can't say anything about the restaurant yet, but we'll check it out.

Well, when I entered the shop I was greeted by a favorite melody (language unknown), which I liked. I then ordered a double chilly cheese burger. After a short wait I received a chilly cheese burger... After the first bite I knew this would be the last time I would see the inside of this shop. It wasn't completely bad, the fries and burgers were acceptable, but with the thought in my head that I had just left a €3 tip on the table without meaning to, I put the meal aside. I would recommend it, anyway. I'll be happy to try it out.

The food was good, but the staff were unfriendly. First, I want to clarify that the staff I interacted with were not Afghans, but Arabs. Personally, I don't care what country someone comes from – what matters is that they act with respect and humanity. We waited almost half an hour, but the food still wasn't ready. When I asked about it, they didn't even remember what I had ordered. I had to give the order number again, and only then did they realize something had gone wrong. After that, we had to wait another 20 minutes. Overall, the wait was very long, and the way we were treated as customers was unfortunately very disappointing. The food may have been good – but service, communication, and treating guests with respect are just as important as the taste. If you don't feel taken seriously as a customer, it leaves a bad impression that even good food can't compensate for. If it's just about the star rating, I'm happy to give it three stars – but my experience remains the same. I wish the team all the best, but hope that in the future they will improve not only the food but also the service.

Tested: Golden Smash Menu Crunch Chicken Burger Menu Avocado Fries Burger Cheeseburger Menu Due to the rush, drinks weren't provided, which isn't a problem and isn't relevant for the review. The size of the burgers (compared to the price) was relatively small. The taste was "quite okay." The products were freshly prepared. Unfortunately, the fries weren't cooked all the way through and some were cold. The order was tasted two minutes after being served. The claim to have "the best burgers in Freiburg" is very ambitious. In our opinion, this goal was definitely not met. Pleasant cleanliness, friendly staff, and a good location are undoubtedly present here. We wish the company every success and good, recurring sales.

The burgers are incredibly delicious, freshly prepared, and made with high-quality ingredients – you can simply taste the difference. I particularly recommend the "Golden Classic" and the crispy sweet potato fries that come with it. The vegan options are also top-notch! The atmosphere is modern and cozy, and the staff is friendly and fast. For me, an absolute must if you want to eat burgers in Freiburg. The value for money is also good. Keep it up! 👏

We were there yesterday and were unfortunately very disappointed. The tables outside were full, hadn't been cleared or cleaned—everything was sticky. The slush machine was full of ants, which is completely unhygienic. We weren't greeted or treated in a friendly manner at the checkout. The music was loud and annoying—there was no sign of a cozy atmosphere. The burger was just about okay, but everything else was a disaster. We certainly won't be coming back.

Unfortunately, it was a complete disaster, even though we were so excited... Atmosphere: Dirty tables and a fast-food feel, which would be fine if it were fast food. Still, we waited over half an hour for the burger (the place wasn't full). And the taste was really bad. The meat (supposedly 100% beef) was very lame and tasted bad, and the salad on top was already spoiled. It made me sick. What a shame!

Somehow, I paid more than advertised without notifying them. Many things cost extra after all. The taste was okay. The tables outside weren't cleaned and were quite dirty (at least when my husband and I were there). We had to help ourselves with tissues.
