Anyone who's hungry will be well catered for here. The food is really delicious. The staff is also very friendly.

A lovely restaurant in a village setting. We didn't make a reservation in advance and were not disappointed at all. The service was friendly and prompt, the food excellent in every respect, and the price was reasonable.

Very nice location with, in my opinion, excellent food. The waitresses were friendly but reserved, right in the heart of Burg on Fehmarn. Card payments are accepted. Prices are reasonable. We were satisfied!

The food was okay, but unfortunately, we were forgotten several times with drinks and food. The apology was "right away." A bit thin for an hour.

Ordered pork fillet with pepper cream sauce, croquettes, and side salad. Unfortunately, the pork fillet was more than overcooked. The pepper cream sauce looked right, but tasted like a bottle of cough syrup had fallen into it. The stalk of iceberg lettuce was in the lead layer of lettuce. Sorry, that's not acceptable.

The three of us ate in the cabin today. We had two cod dishes and one rump steak. It was absolutely outstanding! The fried potatoes were top-notch. The service was friendly and courteous, and the atmosphere was great. We'd love to come back!

The food was very good, the salad with house dressing was delicious. (Lunch menu: Wiener schnitzel with buttered vegetables + hollandaise sauce and paprika schnitzel) Quick service, reasonable prices.

We stopped in spontaneously. The menu isn't extensive, but it's perfectly adequate. The value for money is perfectly acceptable considering today's prices. We had schnitzel with a topping and pork fillet with a delicious pepper sauce. No processed foods! The decor is simple, and the staff is friendly. I can recommend the "Kajüte" with a clear conscience.

Four of us went to the restaurant. For starters, we had shrimp skewers, super tasty and beautifully presented. The aioli was fantastic. For the main course, we had fried cod with fried potatoes, a generous portion and simply delicious. We'd love to come back.

There was no other table occupied. The first waiter who served us was very listless and brought the wrong food for my husband and also took my fish away. When I noticed that he was letting my fish get cold, a second waiter stepped in for him. The food was okay.

A lot of money for subpar quality. Hours later, you're still struggling with the aftermath of the meal.

Kajüte is a wonderful restaurant in Burg on Fehmarn Island, with excellent and friendly service. The food is fantastic, and the value for money is excellent. The menu is varied and there's something for everyone. Definitely worth a visit if you're on Fehmarn.

We were in Burg on our first day of vacation and stopped in here. It wasn't a mistake. The two waiters were super attentive and friendly. The food came fairly quickly. It was very tasty and, above all, plentiful. We had the fish platter, the pollock fillet, and the sauerfleisch (pork) with delicious fried potatoes and remoulade. We can truly recommend everything. If we're in the area again, we'll eat here again.

Truly beautiful and rustic. Although I've been vacationing on Fehmarn for years, today was our first time eating there. The food was amazing, the staff super friendly, and the prices were perfectly reasonable. Since we're here on vacation, we called ahead to reserve a table. But it turned out that this wasn't necessary.

Great value for money! We were warmly welcomed and served very nicely with two children and a dog, despite the pouring rain. The portions were generous and the food was truly delicious! The kids weren't really hungry, but they still managed to snack their way through it :) We'll be back on our next vacation!

We've been coming here regularly for dinner on vacation for several years. So far, everything we've eaten has been delicious and reasonably priced. Be it fish, schnitzel, or the Polish dishes. The service was always super friendly, and even small requests for changes were never a problem. We'd be happy to come back.

June 12, 2025: We specifically visited the Kajüte at lunchtime based on the reviews. It was barely busy. Friendly service, a pleasant atmosphere, and delicious food. We were not disappointed. I highly recommend the pierogie and the "Kajüte."

We were there today for dinner and it was very good. We had pollock fillet with spinach and tomatoes baked and the sailor's plate! We will definitely be back!

We (husband, wife, child, grandma) were just there because my husband and I had already been there several times or had already brought them into the apartment. It was again... how should I say... very, very good. We had the platter for 2. The fish was on point, the fried potatoes were delicious. Grandma had herring with fried potatoes... we had to help because there was so much. Nuggets and fries for the dwarf. What more could you want? The service was friendly and accommodating. Price performance more than fair. Conclusion: We would eat there again and again and can only recommend it!!!

Great restaurant in Fehmarn Castle.

We ate in the “Kajüte” for the second time and I personally was extremely disappointed. My companions were satisfied with their food (fish and vegetarian). My calamari looked like it came from the freezer, fried for too long, and the side salad looked so sad and dried out that I felt sorry for them. There was no salad dressing either. In addition, we were sitting so awkwardly that I was constantly blinded by the sun and could hardly see anything. The waiter also seemed quite grumpy. I found the price/performance ratio too expensive. There won't be another visit there for me!

Based on the reviews, we wanted to eat and drink well here. So we were there on Friday evening, January 24th, 2025, around 7:35 p.m. There were 6 other guests in the restaurant. When we came in, an older gentleman came up to us, despite the opening hours, and told us: We are closed. Better yet, he came a little way to the door and showed us a pizza and another restaurant across the street and said: you can go there. Incredible! We were sent away despite and even with the special notice on the window: Kitchen open until 8:30 p.m. Doesn't anyone seem to have to make money?!

Very tasty, there are Polish and local specialties in a cozy atmosphere. We had Labskaus and stuffed cabbage. It was a little more subtly seasoned, but you can season it well with salt and pepper on the table. Drinks and food came very quickly without a long wait.

I was there for the second time and I was very disappointed, cabbage rolls were from a jar, pierogi weren't homemade either, no tasty salad, a shame. Now, like everyone else, there's a leaf of lettuce, a slice of cucumber, tomato, it's a real shame, I'll never go there again.

Update June 2023 Food very tasty as usual, service excellent and very accommodating! We always feel very welcome. Greetings, the 3 men from the Fehmarn squad 😊 Today the veal schnitzel was very tasty. Before that, the fish fillet plate was also very good! Unfortunately, no more dessert fit in. 😋

We sat outside in front of the restaurant, there is a lot of hustle and bustle with people walking. If you want something quieter, you should look for a place inside.
