Highly recommended restaurant - the food is of very good quality (be sure to try the wild boar liver if it's available - delicious!), the service is quick without being hectic and friendly without being ingratiating. Higher price range - that's how it is. But worth the money! Child and dog friendly!

Enjoy gluten-free! We were there for dinner with three small children. Nice ambience. Very friendly and attentive service. Food came very quickly. All pizzas and some pasta dishes were also optionally gluten-free. And the gluten-free pizza tasted great! The pasta with tomato sauce for our children is also recommended. Only the pasta carbonara on the children's menu wasn't quite to our 5 year old's taste - the cheese was probably too hearty. But that's whining at a high level. Overall, the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. Conclusion: Recommendation!

The food was good. We had pizza but the middle was a bit too soggy. The creme brulee was great and a real eye-catcher, but the tiramisu was small and ok. But what ruined a really nice evening was a mouse in the dining room and the complete apathy of the service staff. I mean, if the place is occupied and there's a mouse around, what's going on after work? And in the kitchen...

The double oak is something special, which means that this restaurant simply stands out. The dishes are excellent and the staff are very friendly. We regularly go to the Doppeleiche restaurant. Very good Italian and also dog friendly. The spaghetti made from parmesan cheese with strips of beef fillet and truffle sauce is highly recommended. Priced a little higher, but definitely worth the price.

We've eaten here a few times now and again on this holiday. As always, it was very tasty and the service was very friendly.

The food was very tasty, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. My highlight was the dessert: crème brûlée served piping hot with sorbet. An absolute recommendation 👌🏽

The Double Oak has been our first port of call when we arrive on the island for many years. The food is very tasty, but not cheap either. Quality costs. I find the new “service prices” incomprehensible and outrageous. 80 cents if you want to take the food you didn't manage to eat with you (packaging fee) and €2.50 for cutlery if you want to share an appetizer with your partner. A 0.5 liter carafe of wine is the equivalent of more expensive than two individual glasses. Although I have always enjoyed being a guest here, I will now prefer another Italian restaurant because I see the above-mentioned aspects as a rip-off. Very unfortunate.

Wir wurden recht distanziert begrüßt und mussten 15 Minuten auf unseren reservierten Tisch im Flur warten. Der lieblose und unpersönliche Service zog sich durch den Abend. Ich hoffe, dass die Servicekräfte nur einen schlechten Tag hatten, denn das passt nicht. Das Essen war gut und entsprach dem Preis, der Wein ist überteuert. Merkwürdig sind die Hinweise auf der Karte, dass man 2,50 Euro zahlen muss, wenn man sich ein Essen teilt ( für den Extrateller), und 0,80 Euro, falls man nicht aufgegessene Reste mitnehmen will. Das ist einzigartig. Also ich werde da nicht mehr hingehen.

It looks even better from the inside than from the outside. The displayed menus are too small for older people. I could design the notice better. We liked the pizza. Had an Italian Alster for the first time. It was really tasty. The service was also very friendly. The price is perhaps €2-3 more expensive than elsewhere, but everything is within reason. Can only recommend it.

A very cozy restaurant with very tasty food. The dishes are big enough that you can sit there. You should only reserve in advance as the restaurant is busy.

The food was really delicious, unfortunately you had to ask the waitress for a new drink, so the waiters could have been a little more on the ball. Otherwise you can eat pizza and pasta there 👍🏻

We reserved a table based on a recommendation. Friendly welcome and nice atmosphere, you feel comfortable here, very modern furnishings. Attentive staff and good speed. The food is absolutely convincing: to start with a small Insalata Mista, then a pizza with pistachio cream (very tasty!) and delicious burrata as well as spaghetti with chanterelles tossed in Parmesan cheese. Especially the non-alcoholic drinks Martini Floreale pomegrenate as an aperitif. The ingredients are predominantly regional, fresh and of high quality. In this respect it is not cheap, but worth the price👍 This restaurant is recommended!

We would give 10 ☆! Even though they were actually fully booked, we were allowed to sit outside! The pizzas were super tasty, fresh and filling! Very fast and courteous service! Lovely and nice! We have known the restaurant for many years, it has always been good but has made a significant leap in the very good direction. The service was very professional, attentive and friendly. The food is of a high standard - the cuisine would have no problems competing even in a big city like Cologne. The wines on offer match the level of the food. The prices are also at the same level as the cuisine, high but reasonable. Keep it up and we will enjoy your food more often when we are on Fehmarn

First class Italian! The staff is really on the ball, the food was delicious (we had pizza & spaghetti made from a parmesan wheel), we were there with 3 children and found it very relaxing. Highly recommended!!!

Good Italian....super tasty and also large pizza 🍕 (went outside the box) with a lot of show, whether everything fits, you don't notice an empty glass, hmmmm.... the extra prices bothered us....share the starter (my husband and I always like to do that), plus 2 euros (I think, or 2.50 euros) to take the rest with you, 0.80 euros for packaging, my pizza cost 17.50 euros, so you have to pay money for packaging take????? I find it strange....nevertheless, the food was very 😋 tasty

The food was good. I immediately feel unwelcome in a restaurant when I read any fee schedule on the menu. Sharing a meal is €2.5 and taking away is €0.8. Simply makes the dishes all €0.5 more expensive. Or do you want to pay an extra fee if someone has to go to the toilet for a long time... The staff tried hard. But if I get a surprise sorbe with the cream brulee on the table and the waiter doesn't tell me that it's coffee and I don't like coffee, then I expect that after trying it I'll get a different kind and not the statement: "that “It’s stupid.” The lights in the square flickered. Overall we felt rather uncomfortable. But the pizza was really good!

Delicious food and you can sit inside in an attractive atmosphere. Food for our 1-year-old daughter was heated up and she was given a high chair and children's cutlery. Changing mat for the little ones is available.

So, this restaurant is a real asset. Not only was the food very good, but also very attentive service, clean toilets and the crowning glory: every time a table is left, it is completely cleaned by the staff with spray bottles and cloths - where does that still exist today.

We had lunch at the Restorante Pizzeria Doppeleiche last week. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted very friendly. We were asked whether we would prefer to eat inside or outside under the umbrellas? Then we were taken to the table. We ate panfish from the lunch table for €14.90. The fish was very fresh and tender and very tasty, the plates were very appetizingly presented. The staff was very friendly and occasionally asked if everything was OK. Toilets were also very, very clean.

Starting with the nice reception. Followed by a very nice ambience. Rounded off with high-quality food and drinks. All in all, a high-quality treat that wasn't overpriced.

I had dinner with my daughter and my mother on Wednesday around 6 p.m. The terrace was almost full, the dining room was relatively empty. Nevertheless, the friendly receptionist was able to assign us a table outside. We ordered pizza once, spaghetti carbonara once and lasagne once. The portions were generous, so even a good eater could get enough without any problems. The food was very good but not exceptional. The prices were local. For an Italian not in the holiday area they would have been around 15% to 20% too expensive. But that's just the tourism surcharge. The service staff was super attentive and polite and always ready to joke. At this point, please say thank you to the great staff. My conclusion: The quality is right and the price is certainly appropriate for this region. The only thing I really found disappointing was the tiramisu for €11, which was neither appropriate in terms of portion size nor price. But I would definitely come here to eat again.

If you are on Fehmarn, you should stop by here every now and then. Delicious food and nice service. Everything really good! It is now forbidden to smoke outside. For all smokers, you have to hold on or visit another of the surrounding bars.

Great restaurant in the heart of Fehmarn. We ate there several times during our stay and were never disappointed.

We went to Doppeleiche for dinner. The service and food were excellent. The very good food rounded off a lovely day perfectly.

The ambience is inviting and the service is courteous. The pasta with the scampi wasn't quite as seasoned, but the pasta with truffle was excellent. The double oak is definitely worth a visit.

Upscale ambience; The employees are all nice and friendly and also respond to requests. We ate pizza (which was very, very tasty) and were completely satisfied. Is really a recommendation! We'd love to come back. The only thing I would like is if the daily specials, which are written on the boards in the restaurant, were also on a piece of paper on the menu, as these are sometimes hidden by the other customers.

Very tasty food and very good service. We particularly liked that all pasta dishes and pizzas can also be ordered in children's sizes. We had a pasta dish, two pizzas and a lasagne. Everything tasted great. The price-performance ratio is right and you can even reserve online.

Very nice atmosphere and nice service. Unfortunately, the food cannot withstand these impressions. We had the lasagna, which tasted okay, although it could have been a little hotter. We also had spaghetti with garlic, chili and prawns, everything (except for the prawns) was very bland and lacked any pizzazz that you would expect from an Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, the prices bear no relation to this. Sorry, I can't recommend the restaurant.

The food is always great. The service is good some days and so-so on others. Some waiters look very listless at what they are doing. Therefore only 4 stars there.

We ate here again on our vacation. Fabulous again. Very good, friendly service and the food was incredibly tasty, good portions, one of the best pizzas!!! Keep it up!

We've been coming here for several years and every time it's a dream. The pizzas seem like they came from God himself, the atmosphere is super nice, the staff are always friendly without exception... in my opinion the best restaurant in Fehmarn and the surrounding area!!!

In one word: TOP!! The best pizza I've had so far and I don't think it will be topped. Reasonable prices, Italian, not Germanized cuisine. After our first visit we reserved a table for the next day. The staff was very attentive and friendly. You can watch the pizza being made and see that the food is treated with respect. We'll definitely see each other again, it's even worth a day trip from Lübeck!!!! THANKS

Clearly the best pizza we have ever eaten. The starter (antipasti plate) was an absolute dream, as was the pizza itself. The ambience as well as the service were very, very good. Many people will be put off by the price, but it is absolutely worth it. I'd rather eat there once than somewhere else twice.

Both the main course and the dessert were delicious! The employees were all very friendly and always there very quickly! The menu was very diverse, from gluten-free to vegan to fish and meat, there was something for everyone! It was brilliant that you weren't allowed to smoke outside! This meant you could really enjoy the food without having the smell of smoke in your nose all the time!

We were able to eat there twice during our short vacation and absolutely loved it. What lovely, friendly and accommodating staff. A harmonious menu with special dishes where you can certainly eat a little more, but it's definitely worth it!

We ordered to go, but would have loved to have wine and pizza inside. Very couzy looking! The gluten free pizzas crust was very successful as it was the best I have tasted. Usually gluten free pizza crust is very flourish and you can taste the difference, but in here the gluten free crust might have been even better than the normal. High recommendation, was full at the time so it seems to be popular too! I can see why. 10/10
