Wie in jedem Jahr machen wir auf Fehmarn unseren Urlaub, ein oder zwei Besuche bei Koch‘s Restaurant ist zu einer lieben Gewohnheit geworden. Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend, der Service ist sehr freundlich und dass Ambiente erfreut uns jedes Mal. So sollte ein Besuch im Restaurant sein! 👍

Schön, ich war schon mal vor etwa zehn Jahren hier und es hat genauso gut geschmeckt wie damals. Ich hatte ein Schnitzel und ein Bier, und es war wirklich lecker.

Wir waren zum Mittagstisch bei Koch‘s. Das Essen war wirklich gut und der Service zuvorkommend. Klare Empfehlung!

Nettes Lokal mitten in Burg. Wir haben draußen gesessen und lecker gegessen. Einziges Manko: das Gemüse war zerkocht. TK oder Konserve? Kartenzahlung möglich. Parkplätze vorhanden.

Wir sind jetzt das zweite Mal hier essen gewesen, das sagt ja schon alles. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Die Mitarbeiter total lieb und nett. Wenn es passt gehen wir, bevor wir abreisen, auf jedenfall nochmal hin. Was mir besonders auffiel waren die Kartoffeln, ein Genuss.

Ein einfach eingerichtetes aber gemütliches Restaurant. 🫶🏻 manche Bewertungen verstehe ich nicht . Wir haben super Essen bekommen das Rinderfilet war perfekt Medium gebraten. Alles war frisch sogar die Champignons sowie die Bratkartoffeln ❤️ . Wir sind zum Urlaub hier in der Nähe aber würden jeder Zeit gerne wieder hier essen gehen .👍 volle 5 von 5 Sterne ⭐️ Insgesamt 120€ + 10€ trink Geld 💶 Für 2 Vorspeisen 3 Hauptgerichte und 1 Bier ein Lillet sowie 3 große normale Getränke.

Gutes Essen nettes Personal immer wieder gerne

Zum ersten Mal hier gewesen, und es hat direkt in allen Punkten überzeugt. Preislich für das, was es gibt, 1a, und man kann sich nicht beschweren. Wir waren an einem Pfingstsonntag (Abend) hier, und es war nicht stark besucht, daher top Atmosphäre (für uns), und wir konnten uns den Platz frei wählen. Zudem konnten wir daher die kostenfreien Parkplätze vor dem Haus nehmen, von welchen es einige gibt. Der Service war ebenfalls sehr zufriedenstellend und freundlich :D (Extrawünsche/Anpassung der Bestellung ist kein Problem) Das war's zum ersten (schnellen) Eindruck. Sehr zu empfehlen! Wir kommen wieder :)

Wir hatten den Steakteller für unentschlossene mit Backkartoffel. Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Von uns aus eine Empfehlung. Hier her kommen wir sehr gern zurück

Wir waren gestern bei Koch's und waren sehr zufrieden. Ich hatte Sparreripps und meine Frau Steak beides sehr lecker. Guter und schneller Service.

Essen war super für jeden was dabei

Wir waren hier in den letzten Jahre schon öfter Essen und kommen gerne immer wieder hier her. Besondere Empfehlung von mir sind als Vorspeise die Pilze mit Sauce Hollondaise! Dazu bekommt man ein sehr leckeres Knoblauchbaguette welches ebenfalls selbst gemacht wird. Das Fleisch wird exakt auf den gewünschten Gar Punkt gegart. Die Kartoffeln sind egal in welcher Form sie bestellt werden sehr lecker. Egal ob sie als Ofenkartoffel mit toller Sauce oder als Pommes mit Knuspriger pannade serviert werden. Auch ein simpler Salat mit bspw Hähnchen schmeckt wirklich sehr gut und sättigen super. Die Portionen sind gut ausreichend bis sogar etwas zu viel.

Mein Lieblingsrestaurant auf Fehmarn. Das Essen ist immer super, toller Gartenbereich und freundlicher Service. Ich komme immer gern wieder, Johanna, Knobibrot mit Ailoi und Schweinemedallons vom Grill warten schon 😅❤️

Küche/Koch hat uns echt überzeugt. Mein Steak war perfekt gebraten und ebenso geschnitten. Einfach klasse!! Danke!

Super freundliche Bedienung das Essen ist eine Gaumenfreude echt lecker ob draußen oder drinnen zu sitzen ist einfach schön

Wir waren zu fünft zum Mittagessen dort. Die gewählten Gerichte waren schmackhaft, die Portionsgröße - bis auf die 2 reinen Mittagsgerichte - absolut ok. Die Mittagsgerichte waren doch eher dürftig. Insgesamt kein überragendes Geschmackserlebnis, aber im normalen bis guten Bereich. Service gut. Ambiente ist Geschmacksache. 3 von 5 Personen würden wieder kommen, zwei Personen nicht. Aber insgesamt trotzdem keine Enttäuschung, obwohl es aus unserer Sicht einige bessere Restaurants auf der Insel gibt. Geschmäcker sind nun einmal unterschiedlich. Ich persönlich vergebe hier als Gesamteindruck 4 Sterne.

Ich denke es ist sehr Koch abhängig. Den einen Tag hat es sehr lecker geschmeckt. Den anderen Tag war das Essen wirklich nicht essbar. Der Service war sehr gut aber essen werde ich dort nicht mehr.

Wir waren Anfang Februar dort. Ich habe lange überlegt ob ich eine Bewertung verfasse oder nicht. Aber das Essen als auch der Service sind mir wirklich so schlecht in Erinnerung geblieben, dass ich das nicht einfach so stehen lassen möchte. Wir mussten mehr Fach einige Beilagen zurück gehen lassen weil diese noch von inne gefroren waren under einfach grundsätzlich nur kurz über den Kochtopf geflogen sind. Als wir dennoch für alles den vollen Preis bezahlen sollten hieß es nur „… Joa ist eben so.“ Das war definitiv einer schlechtesten Restaurantbesuche an dem wir jemals teilhaben durften.

Wir haben zu viert sehr gut sehr differenziert gegessen. Gute Qualität, guter Service und sehr lecker. Zu empfehlen.

Wir waren rundum begeistert! Das Steak war perfekt zubereitet – auf den Punkt, saftig und voller Geschmack. Auch der Fischteller konnte absolut überzeugen, frisch und sehr lecker angerichtet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Vorspeise: Die Champignons waren einfach hervorragend und ein echtes Highlight. Insgesamt ein tolles kulinarisches Erlebnis – wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Das Restaurant Koch ist ein wunderbarer Ort, um leckeres und hochwertiges Essen zu genießen. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und angenehm. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, und der Chef ist respektiert und geschätzt. Die Gerichte werden mit frischen Zutaten und viel Sorgfalt zubereitet, sodass jeder Besuch zu einem schönen Erlebnis wird. Koch ist eine ausgezeichnete Wahl für Familien, Freunde oder ein ruhiges Abendessen.

Essen hat etwas länger gedauert- das Warten hat sich aber gelohnt. Gutes Preis-Leisutngsverhältnis! Hauptsache es bleibt so.

Das Restaurant besteht hauptsächlich aus einem großen Raum. Daher eher kühle Atmosphäre und auch relativ laut. Wir waren jetzt das zweite Mal bei Kochs. Das erste Mal war das Essen (Grünkohl) leider nur lauwarm. Diemal hatten wir Ofenkartoffel mit Putenstreifen und halbe Ente. Die Putenstreifen waren dermaßen hart und trocken, dass sie kaum zu essen waren. Die halbe Ente sah schon verdächtig groß aus. Viel Fett und das Fleisch sehr zäh. Zudem waren noch mehrere Federkiele vorhanden. Wir haben daher hauptsächlich die Beilagen gegessen. Der Service fragte, warum wir das Fleisch über gelassen haben und bot uns an, die Gerichte nochmal komplett neu zu servieren. Da haben wir dankend drauf verzichtet. Aber trotzdem nettes Angebot. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Daher auch die 2 Sterne. Vielleicht hatten wir nur zweimal Pech, aber das Kochs werden wir zukünftig meiden.

Essen war sehr lecker, sowie reichlich. Wir hatten SpareRibs, den Steakspieß und ein vegetarisches Gericht mit Kartoffeln, Blumenkohl und Brokkoli. Alles ist zu empfehlen. Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr gerne wieder.

Nachtrag: Das Essen ist wie immer qualitativ auf hohem Niveau. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und gehen auf die Wünsche ein. Draußen ist es ebenso gemütlich wie drinnen. Auch die Geräuschkulisse ist nicht mehr so laut sondern wirkt gedämpfter. Essen war wie immer super. Die eine Servicekraft war leider etwas gestresst und unfreundlich. Ambiente ist schön, war an dem Tag sehr voll und etwas lauter. Aber ansonsten alles super.

We ate there on December 6th, 2025. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent.

Unfortunately, I can't agree with all the positive reviews. We had a schnitzel that was glistening with grease and tasteless. A rump steak, which was supposed to be slightly overcooked, was completely overcooked. The vegetables tasted like something you'd get at an Asian restaurant and didn't go well with the rest of the meal. A small bowl of mushrooms and onions, which also glistened with grease, cost almost €10 and rounded off the meal. My conclusion: too expensive for what you get.

Very friendly service, clean restrooms, lovely beer garden, the ribs were incredibly delicious, the cod fillet was juicy and scrumptious, and the prices were perfectly reasonable. I'm looking forward to our next visits.

I've never eaten such a bad cheeseburger. The meat patty was frozen industrial garbage, the sauce didn't suit the burger at all. The wild boar roast was cold, and the Brussels sprouts, red cabbage, and potatoes weren't seasoned! And the biggest rip-off: they charged €10 for the birthday table (stained tablecloth and red paper napkin)!!! Never again!!!

The food is delicious and the portions are generous. It's good value for money. The staff is friendly and attentive. We'll be back.

We went there for dinner. The service was super friendly; our son had an XL burger 😃 and my husband and I had steaks. The steaks were cooked to perfection. They tasted just as good as the burger. We sat a bit off to the side in the second dining room, which was perfectly fine for us, as our dog had plenty of room there. However, I felt it lacked a bit of coziness. Nevertheless, everything was great! The dog was also greeted very warmly! It's nice that after 7 years, it still tasted as delicious as it did back then.

Great restaurant, top service and very tasty food.

Four adults and two children went there for dinner on a Thursday evening. We had reserved a table in advance by phone. We had a steak plate, two different burgers, a fish plate, a pork medallion, and a vegetarian dish with baked cheese. The portions were generous, and there were enough left over for the next day for the four of us. The very friendly waitress pointed out as soon as they brought the dishes that anything left on the plate could be packed up. We were also extremely satisfied with the service, especially with the children. I personally really enjoyed the fried potatoes, but my husband didn't think they were crispy enough. It's a matter of taste. The same goes for the BBQ sauce on the burger, which was too spicy for my son, but my husband and I really enjoyed it. The wait time was perfectly acceptable, considering the guests. The ambiance and value for money are absolutely top-notch. We will definitely come back.

The food was super delicious, freshly prepared, the steak was cooked to perfection, and the cake with a liquid center for dessert was simply delicious. Very friendly staff, attentive to everything. Highly recommended.

Four of us ate there. The ambiance was lovely and absolutely inviting. Unfortunately, we had to wait a full 50 minutes for our food. Although we asked to omit the lettuce and tomatoes from a burger, it was delivered in full garb. The food was very tasty. Unfortunately, the wait time and the failure to accommodate our request lead to a deduction of two stars.

Great food, a bit dated ambiance, very friendly and quick staff.

We ordered by phone for pickup. 1 x fried mushrooms in white wine with hollandaise sauce and Gorgonzola 1 x marinated shrimp with garlic bread 1 x Wild West BBQ Burger 1 x rump steak with vegetables, fries, and herb butter About the mushrooms: They only served fried mushrooms without any sauce and without a trace of cheese. About the shrimp: Taste was okay, nothing special, but not bad either. About the burger: It's really delicious and highly recommended. About the rump steak: We ordered it medium, and it was served medium. Top quality and cooked to perfection. The herb butter was unfortunately completely missing... The vegetables reminded me of an Asian snack bar -> very coarsely chopped, and tasted identical to Asian-seasoned vegetables. The fries were delicious and still crispy, despite the 20-minute drive home. As mentioned above, the food was ordered for takeout. It took 40 minutes to be ready. When we arrived at the restaurant 40 minutes later, we were told it would probably take another 1 to 2 minutes. Waiting time inside: 20 minutes Therefore, I can only give it 3 stars with gritted teeth. My recommendation: It's better to eat in the restaurant than to order takeout; you'll forget too much.

The food was ok, that was not our problem. But to pay extra for Ketchup to our hamburger with fries (Pommes Frites) was not ok. Also water to our wine was not inkluderar.

Nice rest stop before going to the boardershop. We had the Schnitzel, a lille boring with just fries, but a good Schnitzel.

We ate here again today to round off our vacation. It was so delicious, the steak was cooked to perfection, and the hollandaise sauce was amazing. The meat and my wife's paprika sauce were amazing, too. And the sauces are all homemade. The chef knows his stuff, respect. We'll be back.

We spent 8 days on the island, including two meals at this wonderful restaurant. Four adults sampled spare ribs, fish (fillet and plaice), burgers, schnitzel, and onion soup. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. The staff was courteous, helpful, and friendly. Reasonable value for money. Highly recommended.

I'm always happy to come back. I've had steak every time I visit, and it's always been great. The service has always been nice and friendly. ADJUSTMENT: I unfortunately have to adjust my review slightly after today's visit (September 16, 2025). We had reserved a table and indicated that we were bringing a dog. We were seated at a table in the passageway. The food was very good, as always, but the seating was extremely uncomfortable, especially since the dog was with us, and the tables were rearranged twice directly behind me during our visit, which made it even more crowded. The ambiance was lacking during today's visit, which I also mentioned to the lady who took the check. Therefore, I'm deducting one star.

We ate here today during our vacation, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone. The food was super friendly and absolutely delicious; it couldn't be better. We'll definitely be back on our next vacation.

We spend at least two weeks on Fehmarn Island a year and love ordering takeaway food here. Compared to other restaurants, we've never been short of anything or cold; in fact, the opposite is true. The quality and price are excellent, and out of six people, everyone was completely satisfied and happy, as there's something for everyone on the menu. We'll be coming back here again in the future.

Excellent cuisine, friendly service, and reasonable prices! Tip: Spare ribs, honey-spiced (world-class!), and a surprise fish platter! Koch's Steak & Fish House is highly recommended! We will definitely be back!

I highly recommend this restaurant. The service is friendly and humorous. The food arrived quickly and was of excellent quality. The price/performance ratio is more than adequate. The BEST spare ribs I've ever eaten are here. We were on vacation for a week on Fehmarn Island and ate here twice because we enjoyed it so much.

We've been there at least twice a year. Simply amazing food and very friendly service.

We had four meals, two of which were okay. The steak skewer wasn't impressive. The cod fillet was very thin on a skin with no roasted flavor. When we pointed this out to the waitress, she denied it and became rude. It was our first and last visit to the restaurant.

We visited this fantastic restaurant for the first time today and had spare ribs. 1000g of honey/spicy spare ribs, including fries and a separate sauce. We've rarely eaten such good spare ribs. Very meaty, buttery tender, and more than filling. The service was truly perfect. Super friendly and very attentive. There was hardly any wait time, and all at absolutely fair prices. We'll be back in 3 days to round off our vacation there in style. Highly recommended!

We ordered two steak plates for those who were undecided. Appetizingly presented, with a delicious salad dressing. After complaining about the first few steaks being very tough, we were finally served truly juicy and tender steaks. The service was attentive and very friendly!

Fine little restaurant in the city of Burg in Germany. The waiters are really nice. Had the Wienerschnitzel Jägerart it is always good.

Seven of us went there to eat this evening. We had cheeseburgers, chicken burgers, hunter's schnitzel, steak skewers, and pork medallions, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The entire team was very friendly and accommodating, and we felt very comfortable. We'd love to come back on our next vacation. ☀️

Delicious food and friendly staff

A menu that leaves nothing to be desired. All the dishes are highly recommended. The baked potato with turkey strips and salad is particularly delicious. The steaks are grilled to perfection. If you're looking for good food at fair prices and don't need a lot of fuss, this is the place for you. We've been here many times and always enjoy coming back.
