Restaurant Isarena in Mittenwald

Fantastic food at fair prices and pleasant service. The pork fillet with port wine sauce was divine—tender meat and a rich sauce! The only downside is the somewhat out-of-the-way location.

After a lovely cross-country ski run or hike in the Gries valley, you can enjoy excellent cuisine here in comfort. The food, drinks, and service are truly recommended.

This is my third time at Tamarell, and I have to say, although it's a bit out of the way, I'm happy to make the trip and even hop on my bike for the friendly service, delicious food, and homemade cakes. But I usually drive there. :-)) I had a delicious tamarell plate with homemade sausages and tasty ribs from the smoker in the backyard. And the dessert was also very, very delicious...apricot dumplings beautifully arranged on a slate platter. So, all in all, I'm very satisfied and give it four stars. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Mittenwald. Traditional Mediterranean and Bavarian dishes interpreted with a little bit of creativity. Wines were great, so was the desert. All dishes are homemade, including the appetizers, the bread and the “greetings from the kitchen”. Prices are very reasonable. As I said, i know Mittenwald quite well, this one is quite high up the list for me!
