My wife and I were very impressed with the food. Very friendly service and a lovely restaurant. Highly recommended.

We came on the guide's advice. The knuckle was overcooked. So-so. Nothing special.

The Angus burger was very, very tasty.

We had a very good meal... Salmon with tagliatelle in a mustard and cream sauce. I've never eaten anything like it before, and the lady in the kitchen knew what she was doing.

Service – unfortunately, very arrogant and rude… at times, overwhelmed. They didn't ask if they liked the food (whether it tasted good at all – it didn't), nor if everything was okay… a completely "normal" pub experience…! Schnitzel from the freezer, mushrooms from a can, sauce from a packet… DISAPPOINTING and not worth the money! NEVER AGAIN! A waste of time!

Highly recommended! We ordered Balkan dishes, which were simply delicious and reasonably priced. We'll be back next time we're in Düsseldorf.

We went there for lunch yesterday. Unfortunately, my father got food poisoning afterward. I only ate a few fries and then sent them back (I didn't have anything). What a shame! It seems like they're just after tourists who come once and then never come back.

While traveling through Dūsseldorf I gave this restaurant the opportunity to eat there and rate it :) All in all it's good, good service, food and acceptable prices. As usual I always look at the bathrooms and the kitchen and I can say that they pass the test.

My meal was okay, but there's nothing I'd highlight. Unfortunately, we had to return one meal entirely because the meat was inedible. Which was a shame, because it even showed on the bill. We won't be eating there again.

Wow! By far the best meal I have ever had! I had the mushroom schnitzel and it came with a salad (that was absolutely delicious) fresh hot crispy bread with a yummy dip) and fried potatoes… this was absolutely to die for! My husband had the pike which also came with the salad… but his had boiled buttery potatoes… and he absolutely loved his as well. The drink prices were very reasonable… We would def come back again! Thank you for such DELICIOUS, piping HOT food!

Were there on January 9, 2025 in the evening. The restaurant was empty except for 2 people, the bread as a starter was very hard, the meat I had was burnt and very dry. The conditions, people were talking very loudly right next to us. Once and never again.

The two of us had a delicious meal, shared the chateaubriand together and it was delicious together with the side dishes. Highly recommended. A bottle of wine next to it completed it. Everything is very affordable which makes this evening extra enjoyable. Do not look at chairs/sofas and tables. The food was very tasty. But the woman who served us was really arrogant

When we entered a restaurant, no one paid attention to us, they didn't even look at us. Even though there was an empty table, we had to wait for 15 minutes. Finally, a waiter came and kindly said, "You can sit here." We ordered steak; Even though potatoes were included, we were charged 7 Euros extra for the potatoes. An attempt was made to overdraft while paying the account. Moreover, even though we warned about this situation, they asked us to leave a tip.

Het eten was prima en een uitgebreide kaart maar de bediening was een oude chagrijnige heks (zo heb ik me nog niet uitgelaten in een review).

The food here is ok. The steaks are quite good, but the pepper sauce is definitely out of the box. The fries are the typical frozen fries. Originally my rating would have been better, as the service was quite nice (although only a minimum, but not unfriendly). But in the end this is what happened: We paid and then, as was appropriate, wished us a nice day. At first there was no reaction from her and then she said, "Yes, a nice day looks different...". I found it impossible, as if I could do something about it...

We took the steak set for two, I would say only 4/5 of the meat, because they probably cooked all 6 pieces equally (in the photo, 2 pieces have already left), so the thinner ones were overcooked (close to well done). But most of it was good, the meat itself was soft enough. I was very surprised and liked the fried potatoes with onions (side dish) that reminded me of my study days 😀 Pouring red wine is also half the devil. Anyway, I would say it's quite good, I wouldn't mind repeating it.

Regular restaurant when we are in Düsseldorf!! Very tasty and above all enough food for little money!! When it is busy it can sometimes take a little longer, but that will be the case everywhere!! Recommended!!

From the outside it looked like a cozy, nice restaurant. The moment me and my wife stepped foot inside, the ladies let us wait for some minutes till we got a table and were unfriendly. The food was meh. The presentation was not so good. My steak was supposed to come medium, it was literally raw. Super red and the blood was coming out crazily. The waitress took my steak back and was rude about it. She kept on insisting it was medium. The price was okay-ish. I mean 19,50€ is okay. The location is great though.

Ordered 2 medium hüftsteaks, my friend received it rare and both steaks had wayyyy to much blood in them The steak was a 3 out of 10 The vegetables were the frozen type 4 out of 10 And the krokette were 8/10 Overall yes the prices are good but the food is not that good

Unfortunately the restaurant disappointed me. The food was overall rather mediocre. The schnitzel was extremely thin and was prepared in the deep fryer, which unfortunately took away any freshness and juiciness. The pepper sauce seemed like a thick, ready-made sauce and didn't taste convincing either. I find it unreasonable to charge 19 euros for this standard. It's a shame because I was hoping for more.

Delicious food at reasonable prices.

The place is nice, situated directly in the heart of Düsseldorf old town. The food is not so fancy or fine dining but it‘s very tasty, comfort food more precisely. We ordered a steak and gordon bleu which was delicious! The thing that was maybe to much was the sauce in the salad. It’s not bothering in the beginning, but it’s a little greasy at some point, or maybe for me cause i had a lot of sauce with the steak! Also we wanted to try the goulash soup which was amazing for my taste but a little bit salty for my girlfriend. It could be better if the portion was bigger. The prices are normal. We paid for what’s in the picture and the goulash soup arround 55€. We will definitely come back.

The restaurant looks very cozy and is family run. The service is very friendly and super fast. Unfortunately, that's where the positive ends. I had a Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes and it was inedible. The meat was so tough that I could only take a few bites and could barely swallow them. Not only was it tough, it had been fried to death so you could only eat inside. The mushroom sauce consisted of mushrooms and gravy. And the fried potatoes were so burnt that you couldn't eat half of them and they didn't taste good either. When I complained about it, they just smiled and took the plate away. I was still allowed to pay the full price. Too bad!

Bad service, unmotivated. Ajvar poured over the entire meal. Shrimp cocktail without toast and butter. If there is a thunderstorm, we should stay outside ben. No interest in guests. Bad Price/performance ratio.

We were at the Caravan Salon trade fair all day and rewarded ourselves with a steak platter for two people with extra pepper sauce. There were delicious butter vegetables and extremely delicious roasted potato slices. Before that there was a small mixed salad with slices of white bread. This was the tastiest meal I've had in a long time. Every bite was a delight, we wanted to jump for joy. What a culinary delight! Small detail on the side: my last name is Berger, my favorite number is 9. The restaurant is located at Bergerstrasse 9 ;))

I chose a fillet steak with fried potatoes and pepper sauce for dinner. The service was very accommodating and, upon request, gave us a seat outside after a short wait. The prices are moderate and correspond to the year 2024. The steak was cooked to medium rare, but the fried potatoes were a bit oily. Overall it was tasty and reasonable for the price/performance ratio. I can recommend this restaurant for a normal steak experience, only the ambience wasn't really perfect because the tables had annoying feet on the outside.

Great place to eat. The food is good for a fair price even for the location. The service is quick and friendly. We ate twice there and never disapointed regarding the dishes. My only complain, is the cigarrette smell that is coming from outside, but is part of the german culture to smoke heavyly.

We were here today for schnitzel. The schnitzels were very tasty and were available at a good price/performance ratio. The service seemed a bit bored and rather unfriendly. Unfortunately there were no sauces with the side dishes. The salad beforehand also looked a bit downtrodden. Due to the open design of the kitchen you could see that it was clean and tidy. The atmosphere inside is rather rustic, but cozy.

Meat was fried to death even though English was ordered. Also received an incorrect order. When asked about it, the waitress simply ignored it.

We ate there today and each ordered a drink and some food. My husband wanted his steak English, the meat was almost cooked to death. He also received the wrong dish. When we asked about the conditions, she just shrugged her shoulders and didn't apologize or anything like that. My asparagus wasn't cooked properly either.

Wir waren in der Altstadt auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant. Unsere Erwartungen waren nicht sehr hoch, da hier die meisten Lokale nicht sehr gut sind. Es ist eben die längste Theke der Welt. Da sind die Prioritäten andere. Nach einiger Suche, sind wir auf das Peperoni aufmerksam geworden. Es sah ansprechend aus und wir waren wirklich angenehm überrascht. Wir wurden schnell und freundlich bedient. Auf das Essen mussten wir nicht lange warten und es war wirklich gut. Man konnte sogar vom Lokal aus in die Küche sehen, was es nicht oft gibt.

The food was really delicious, I can't say anything about it! However, we sat relatively far at the front at the entrance, unfortunately there were 4-5 smokers sitting outside directly in front of the shop, who probably belonged to the shop, who all lit up a cigarette one after the other, which really smelled very bad and the smoke was completely absorbed . We would have liked to stay longer, but it was really unbearable and stinky! 😠

Very very very tasty food for very pleasantly surprising prices! The service was very courteous, very attentive, there was an open kitchen (you could even hear the meat being pounded), the atmosphere was Argentinian style, there was a very large selection of food and the photos that were uploaded here of the food matched 1 to 1 ( Ours was just too tasty, so it was gone before we could take a photo of it :D). We came here quite spontaneously for the first time on Friday evening and got the last free table. Very nice staff, really nice atmosphere and the steak was cooked to perfection! But the prawns as a starter were also incredibly tasty! Highly recommended!

Friendly.Fast. Inexpensive. A suggestion for improvement: move the cutlery pot on the serving counter so that the customer doesn't see the waitress taking the spoon out of the pot. Scampi from the pan is very tasty. Lumberjack steak was a lumberjack portion and very tasty.
