Miga Korean Restaurant in Düsseldorf

Wir kamen spät an und die Küche schloss bald, aber zum Glück konnten wir trotzdem noch bestellen. Das Essen und der Service waren einfach fantastisch. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Das ist Essen ist sehr lecker und man hat eine große Auswahl an koreanischen Gerichten. Die Inhaberin ist sehr nett und die Atmosphäre ist familiär. Ich komme gerne wieder! Danke 🤩

Wir haben den Laden spontan entdeckt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Beilagen waren inklusive , besonders zu empfehlen ist die Eis Zitronen Honig Tee sehr lecker sehr erfrischend. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Ein wirklich tolles koreanisches Restaurant. Ich war am Samstag nach dem Düsseldorfer CSD mit meiner Freundin dort. Schon am Morgen hatte ich von Kimchi geträumt und war total begeistert, es dort endlich probieren zu können. Auch das restliche Essen war köstlich und schnell zubereitet. Die Bedienung war super nett und aufmerksam, und als es stark zu regnen begann, wurde das Essen sogar reingebracht. Ich kann es jedem wärmstens empfehlen.

Die Bedingungen war freundlich und man kann einigermaßen gut draußen sitzen. Das Essen war jedoch nicht sehr groß von der Portion her und leider auch nur sehr geschmacksneutral. Es gab auch keine Sosse dazu. Daher aus meiner Sicht nicht wirklich zu empfehlen. Überdies sehr negativ habe ich die Zahlungsmodalitäten empfunden. EC Kartenzahlung ist erst ab 30 Euro möglich und Kreditkarte sogar erst ab 50 Euro. Das habe ich so echt noch nie erlebt und passt überhaupt nicht in die heutige Zeit wie ich finde. Ich werde dort nicht mehr essen und kann den Laden keineswegs empfehlen.

Das Essen war bis auf das blonde Haar, eigentlich richtig lecker. Als ich das blonde Haar dann reklamiert hatte, erklärte mir die Dame, daß es unmöglich wäre, in einem asiatischen Restaurant ein blondes Haar im Essen zu finden. Sie war dennoch sehr kulant und bot mir an, die zweite Hauptspeise nicht zahlen zu müssen. Als ich dann zur Kasse ging, wurden mir dann doch beide Speisen berechnet. Mir geht's hier nicht ums Geld, sondern um das Gefühl, welches ich an diesem Abend hatte. Ich habe selbstverständlich bezahlt und bin gegangen, mit dem Gefühl, ich hätte die Situation selbst verschuldet. Passiert nie wieder. Viel Spaß mit dem haarigen Umsatz und ein Lob an die Belegschaft. Viel Erfolg.

Meine Tochter schwärmt seit letztem Jahr von dem Jajangmyeon, das sie in Korea gegessen hat, aber in Düsseldorf gab es nicht viele Restaurants, wo sie es hätte genießen können. Das Jajangmyeon im Miga war jedoch authentisch koreanisch. Von den Gurkenstreifen bis zum Spiegelei – alles war perfekt! Mir gefiel auch, dass es Jajangmyeon und Jajangbap gab. Meine Tochter bestellte Jajangmyeon, dazu eine Schüssel Reis und leckte die restliche Soße bis zum letzten Tropfen aus. Ich hatte Lust auf etwas Scharfes und bestellte Yukgaejang. Doch schon nach einem Löffel Brühe bestellte ich zwei Portionen zum Mitnehmen. Es wäre perfekt gewesen, wenn Farn dabei gewesen wäre, aber auch so wurde das Yukgaejang in einem Tontopf mit der perfekten Temperatur serviert (man kennt das ja: heißes Essen aus einem Tontopf kann einem den Gaumen verbrennen!), und der Reis kam in einer bis zum Rand gefüllten Edelstahlschüssel. Ich fühlte mich beim Essen wirklich wie in Korea. Es war leicht und trotzdem perfekt gewürzt! Die Beilagen waren ansprechend angerichtet und eindeutig hausgemacht. Besonders die geschmorten Kartoffeln waren köstlich! Ich möchte unbedingt wiederkommen, um all die anderen Gerichte zu probieren, die ich noch nicht gegessen habe. Das Personal und der Besitzer waren unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam; ich war wirklich gerührt, dass sie mich sogar mitten im Essen fragten, ob es mir geschmeckt habe. Die Tische sind aus Holz, und die Atmosphäre ist sauber und gemütlich, daher denke ich, dass es ein toller Ort ist, um Gäste einzuladen. Ich werde auf jeden Fall mit meinen Freunden wiederkommen!

Hmm So lecker. Wir hatten die Suppen und die sind richtig gut frisch gekocht. Sehr nettes Team alles sauber und freundlich eingerichtet. Auf jeden Fall wieder hin und das große Menü. Kann ich bestens empfehlen

Wir haben hier sehr gut gegessen! Es war authentisch und der Service super freundlich. Obwohl eigentlich alles reserviert war, haben sie alles dran gesetzt, damit wir noch einen Tisch bekommen. Ein leckeres und bereicherndes Erlebnis.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet, das gilt für die Beilagen, das Gimbap, aber auch für die fried chicken und andere warme Gerichte. Die Mengen waren gerecht also Preis/Leistung 10/10, kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Preis fair und der Service freundlich. Allerdings war die Luft nach ca. einer halben Stunde sehr schlecht. Kein Fenster geöffnet, kein Luftzug, kein Luftfilter zu sehen. Leider sehr unangenehm und der perfekte Ort um sich einen Virus einzufangen. Ich komme in ein paar Monaten wieder, wenn man draußen sitzen kann...

I really wanted to eat Korean food while studying abroad, and I was so happy after eating this 💗 When I stayed in Düsseldorf, I ate only the food here for almost a whole week ㅋㅋㅋㅋ They especially use good meat, it melted in my mouth the moment I put it in... This is a Korean restaurant you must visit in Düsseldorf👍👍

In new premises! Delicious as always - Addendum - I ate there again after a long time: Mandus are now the simplest convenience food from the deep fryer - the spicy beef was neither spicy nor particularly seasoned, but had an almost jelly-like texture - too much softener? Upon request, I was served sambal oelek to spice it up - I think Korean cuisine offers more original options... The server cleared a half-full plate without asking - no interest in feedback? Unfortunately, the concept no longer appeals to me - it has deteriorated dramatically.

I love this place and their foods

The service was very bad. They were very unfriendly, and rush us as well. Especially the elder female staff was very rude. The food was ok, but consider that there are a lot of amazing korean restaurants in Düsseldorf it is not worthy to go here. I and my friends were really upset after visiting.

The service was quite disappointing. It felt very different compared to other Korean restaurants I’ve been to. In particular, the tone of one of the female staff members was unpleasant and made me feel uncomfortable. The overall atmosphere of the place wasn’t great either, and I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

I was here a few days ago. The food was okay, but the employee (an older woman) was so rude I couldn't believe it. I don't expect top-notch service, but I do want to be treated like a guest and with respect. I'm paying for my food. I will never go there again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Unbelievable. I was there with a friend last week; we wanted a cozy meal. A younger employee kindly assigned us a table, but within 10-15 minutes, we were moved twice because other guests wanted to sit at 'our' table?! We had the feeling that regulars or other guests were getting priority! There was also a slightly older lady (probably the manager) who was incredibly disrespectful and unfriendly, in a bad mood the whole time, and made us feel incredibly uncomfortable in the restaurant. There are so many other Korean restaurants in Düsseldorf, do yourself a favor and don't go there.

Never again! Not a pleasant welcome, totally disinterested. We had a reservation, but no one seemed to know anything about it. They also didn't want to look at my phone (reservation confirmation) and were very hectic. They called me a different name. I explicitly said my name over and over again. Then we were suddenly assigned a table. But I think that was because the restaurant was completely empty. I wanted the kimbap without radish because of my allergies, but they said it wasn't possible. Either they don't make the kimbap fresh or they're not able to roll the kimbap without radish. Simply incomprehensible. So I had to remove the pieces and ended up with more of a plate of rice with vegetables in front of me, which I could only eat by spooning, since everything was falling apart. The portion was also much too small; for whatever reason, the beginning and end pieces of the kimbap were removed. The banchan was simply awful, beyond words. The waitress is far too young and insecure. You had to ask for some things several times before you got them, like a fork. Then there was a woman, maybe even the manager, who was in a bad mood and arguing loudly with someone in the middle of the restaurant the whole time. And she was looking past me, which irritated me the whole time, because she was looking directly in my direction and looked angry. That distracted me so much for a while that I couldn't concentrate on the food or my friends. The restroom smelled of urine, and the hand soap was empty.

Serves amazing Korean side dishes with the meal

Miga is a really great Korean restaurant! Here you can get really good food in generous portions at a fair price. I would particularly like to highlight the incredibly polite and courteous staff - you immediately feel welcome. The location is great, which makes the already fair prices even more attractive. I was particularly impressed with the kimchi, which really tasted excellent. I arrived by bike and was able to park right in front of the restaurant and sit outside - which is perfect, especially in summer. An absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy good Korean food in a relaxed atmosphere!

The food here is prepared with a lot of love and care, you can tell that straight away. The dishes are attractively presented and have that special, warm touch that is typical of Korean cuisine. In terms of taste, everything is solid and satisfying, even if there is nothing that really stands out or excites you. Maybe that certain something is just missing. A small downer for me as a European hehe: Unfortunately there is no really good wine to complement the meal. But perhaps that is more a peculiarity of our European preferences. Overall, a nice experience, but not necessarily a culinary highlight.

So bad, ordered two pot bibimbap with very little beef and it was battered. Also service is not good. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there.

We had reserved a table, but despite arriving on time we couldn't be offered a table. What was even worse was that after entering the restaurant we were consistently ignored for the first 5 minutes until we spoke to a waitress ourselves... Good service is different...

Miga has become one of our favorites in Unterbilk. We tried many dishes, but my favorite is bibimbab with chicken, I have never eaten better anywhere in Düsseldorf. We will definitely like to try other traditional dishes too!

It's was delicious. They original came from korea and working themselves so more better korean tasty. And they have many menus so can be choosing better for yours. One of my friend is vegetarian so we tried some vegan foods but next time going alone then trying more with meat thing too.

The best bibimbap I know of in Düsseldorf and beyond. The service is polite, the owner is very nice and always in a good mood. Changing the location from Bilker Allee to Lorettostraße was also a big upgrade. Now there is enough space for all guests and you can linger much better.

The boss's tone is unpleasant. Every time I go, I don't feel like it anymore. The tone of voice trying to teach, the tone of blaming others, this was my first time hearing it in a restaurant. — Hahaha, the personality of the boss comes out in the reply. When did I tell you that I only felt bad when I was paying the bills? The whole process was like that from the moment I first came in.

Mega! Super good, friendly and helpful service. We ate inside with two children and there was something for everyone. It's also super well seasoned and if that's not enough, you can adjust it with very tasty (really) hot sauces. Only recommended!!

I ordered a bimimbab and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. Even though I specifically asked for more sauce, I only got a very small amount. This made the entire dish dry and tasteless. Additionally, customer service was not helpful when I reported the problem. It seems as if customer requests are not taken seriously here. Very disappointing and definitely not recommended.

The food itself was tasty, but the bibimbap lacked more flavor and I didn't like the red sauce with it. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time before we could order, but it was also busy. The staff was friendly.

I'm referring to the former Miga when it was still at the first location. I wasn't in the present state yet. Please form your own opinion. I try to describe the events without any judgment. The food was great, the owner at the time was friendly. That's it! I found the atmosphere cramped and uncomfortable. But given the excellent food, I would have put all that aside and given it 5 stars. Unfortunately, the situation became so unpleasant that I would never go there again. The first time the owner gave me 3 euros too little. I only noticed this when I got home and thought oh god, this could happen. The second time, maybe a month or two later, it was 7 euros. I kindly pointed it out, and with a shrug from the owner, I was given the difference. Finally, the third time I paid attention to this right from the start and with my ten EUR note as payment he gave change for five euros. When I pointed this out to him, he claimed I only gave him 5 euros. After three or four sentences of discussion, I got the remaining difference. As I said: I'm not assuming anything, I'm just describing. For me personally, however, it was so unpleasant that I no longer go there, even today.

Yukgaejang. Chicken stir-fried noodles (slightly Chinese-style but very good for German tastes) were all delicious. I like yukgaejang, so I tried it at several Korean restaurants in the Netherlands and Germany, but... the yukgaejang here is the most delicious, so it takes a 3-hour round trip from the Netherlands to visit!

Unfortunately I have to correct my rating. Since the restaurant moved and the food and dishes were adjusted, I don't like it anymore. I noticed it the first time I visited the new location. Then after a long time we gave it another chance, no, we don't have to go there anymore, it just doesn't taste good anymore. Moreover, over time, prices gradually increased. Now we pay more than twice as much as we did at the beginning. It used to be acceptable because the food was awesome. It would be understandable, even now with rising costs, if the food had remained the same as before. Old review at the old location: A small family shop that really cooks with love. Perfectly coordinated Spices and totally delicious. And I personally think the best food is in Düsseldorf. Of course it's not a restaurant, otherwise a small room. But you can sit inside and outside in summer. The prices are perfect. The only thing is that the type of sushi is not to my taste.

Delicious food and nice service

Authentic Korean food. The soup is heavenly, especially in a cold winter night. Generous serving size. Friendly, prompt, and attentive service from the Korean young man. The restaurant is spacious and clean, and the ambience is welcoming. I foresee myself coming back here again soon.

Der Service ist sehr fraglich. Meine Partnerin und ich waren gestern im Miga gegen 17:45 Uhr. Es war komplett leer und wir bestellten zwei Vorspeisen mit zwei Getränken (~25€). Nach den Vorspeisen wollten wir schauen, wie es mit unserem Hunger steht. Auf Anweisung der Chefin teilte uns der (nette) Kellner mit, dass Vorspeisen nur mit einem Hauptgericht ausgegeben werden. Angesichts der Gesamtumstände konnten wir diese Entscheidung nicht nachvollziehen und sind gegangen. Für ca. 25€ dürfte es akzeptabel sein, den Herd anzuschmeißen...

Gutes Essen, super freundlicher Service. Dennoch fehlte uns 'der Kick'.

Die gebratenen Nudeln mit Rindfleisch sind einzigartig. Preis- Leistung top.

Eine Größere Gruppe die später gekommen ist wurde bevorzugt, nach einer Stunde Wartezeit bekommt man immer noch kein Essen, hingegen bekommen neue Gäste nach kürzester Zeit ihr Essen… nie wieder!

I love this restaurant. I have been going for 10 years already and they never disappoint me. Even though they moved to a bigger place they still treat you very nice and are always trying to help you out. I have tried different things over the years and I have to say my absolute favorite is the bibimbab. It tastes wonderful and I love the crispy rice (not too much, perfect ratio) The price is fair and the atmosphere is mostly cozy.
