McDonald's in Düsseldorf

Friday afternoon, 2:45 p.m., you're standing at the drive-thru, looking like an idiot. No one's taking your order because everyone else is standing at the checkout line, chatting. And they're leaving the customers standing there or simply ignoring them because the conversations are more important.

Quite a big restaurant and a lot of space, the nuggets could have been fresher but it was quite good 👍

The reusable system is very good!

Good food (for McDonald's), tables could be cleaner, and paper towels in the restroom would be welcome. (Wasn't restocked)

The Big Mac was missing! I had an order: 1 6-piece nuggets, 1 MC Plant, and 1 Big Mac, and I was at the MC Drive-In today, May 22, 2025, at around 10:15 PM. I paid €18 and noticed at home that the Big Mac was missing. How is it possible that one of the 3 items is missing? €18 for nuggets and a burger? Next time, I'll get two kebabs and a fries! It's a system at McDonald's that something is always "forgotten." Really annoying!

Once again wrong items in the bag

I have been going here a lot in the past few months. But in the past month, they have been messing up my order. I am allergic to tomatoes. The first time this happens. The nice lady gave me a croissant. Unfortunately I paid 4€ for mc wrap bacon and egg. the second time, I even showed them a picture. I don't think I'll be going back to this McDonald's. I paid 8€ for something I can't eat.

Well, this place employs people who either can't read, or I don't know what the answer is, but there hasn't been a single time when the order has been complete. Something always gets forgotten. Always. But forgetting six cheeseburgers is quite an achievement. Never again.

It's a great experience every time. The atmosphere is lovely and the food is delicious.

Arrived on Sunday morning 10 minutes after the store opened: Almost all the tables in the entire store were dirty and the wrong order was brought.

Unfortunately, it's very dirty and untidy. Drinks taste watered down. According to the staff, glasses aren't there (although some customers were given them after I ordered). When I asked, I was rudely told that I had to prove I didn't get a glass. Simply avoid this McKinsey and report it to the franchisee.

For me, McDonald's is always a good choice when I want something quick and tasty. The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff friendly and the food, as usual, delicious. I particularly liked that everything was clean and the order was ready quickly. Perfect for a little break in between.

Great service, delicious food, cozy atmosphere, suitable for families and individuals, there is a designated place for children to play and outside in front of the building there are tables facing the street from which you can enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful spring atmosphere.

Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my visit to the McDonald's at Trippelsberg 4 in Düsseldorf. As soon as I entered the restaurant I noticed how dirty it was. There were paper napkins and leftover food on the floor, and everything in the seating area also looked unkempt. What was particularly annoying was that the tables were not cleaned. Almost every table was covered with old food residue or sticky stains, which made the stay very unpleasant. You first had to find a reasonably clean place or ask the staff to clean something - which I don't think should be the case when visiting a fast food restaurant. The staff wasn't unfriendly, but seemed overwhelmed and didn't really try to keep the cleanliness under control. It's a shame, because the food was okay - but you just don't want to eat in such an environment. I hope that more emphasis will be placed on hygiene here in the future. Unfortunately it wasn't a pleasant visit for me.

Seldom seen such a dirty MC. The shoes are glued to the floor. Dirt everywhere you looked. When I asked an employee about it, I got the answer - I don't speak German...

The app says that you get a Minecraft toy and then you just get a code for the Mincraft Bedrock Edition. It would at least be nice if you still had understanding, but nobody had understanding and none of us play Minecraft, we just wanted to have the toys

The potatoes seemed to have been reheated, tasteless! The burger was made sloppy and fell apart as soon as I picked it up.

Actually, it's always difficult to find a remotely clean table here. I'm regular with mine. Son here. This time even he was disgusted and we didn't have a single one that wasn't smeared or full of leftover food. Found table. I don't expect anything special, just a reasonably hygienic place to eat.

Very dirty shop, there is rubbish and liquids everywhere. And when I ordered the Minecraft Happy Meal yesterday, the toys and the limited edition sauce were simply forgotten. However, when I asked, they only gave me the toy. The waitress obviously didn't feel like it either. Very sad.

Food is good, staff friendly, good service BUT It doesn't matter whether you come for lunch during the week (weekdays) or at the weekend, the hygiene in the whole store leaves a lot to be desired! Tables are dirty, The floor is dirty and greasy, The terminals are full of grease marks, The toilets smell of urine and are not cleaned regularly, a real shame! Such a great branch, unfortunately it's just a shame because of the lack of hygiene and I don't feel comfortable there as a customer. There are lots of fingerprints on the windows, on the doors, everywhere.

This store is just so incredibly dirty. Nothing there is really clean. From the toilet, floor, tables, chairs etc...If it looks like this in the kitchen then meal. I live in Düsseldorf and now prefer to go to Mc Donalds in Hilden.

I would prefer not to give any stars at all, but unfortunately there is no other way. By far the worst McDonald's there is in Germany. The food tastes like it was made yesterday and put in the microwave for today, not fresh at all! The fries were also completely raw. Reading is also very difficult there, you order a burger without pickles, of course it comes with pickles.

I had to wait 45 minutes for my order and they forgot to put my food in the cup. After I got my food, the fries were very salty and the burger was too spicy. There was trash everywhere and it was rarely cleaned up. The staff wasn't the best either. The only good thing was the Coca-Cola (you could see where they had filled the cups with Coke, which was 95% water and 5% syrup). Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this McDonald's restaurant to anyone.

I had a great visit to McDonald's today! The staff was friendly and helpful, the order came quickly and was prepared perfectly. I was particularly impressed by the freshly prepared burger menu, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was also pleasant. I will definitely come back.

Thank you for the reminder! I live nearby and I was just craving a burger, I read the reviews for a moment and I no longer had any appetite. That's right, the great McD burgers from your childhood memories are simply no longer available... but the rubbish still remains... This McDonald brings nostalgia with it... you'll still have some of it in the toilet tomorrow.

I've only been a customer once or twice a month for 20 years. Double Hamburger Royal with cheese and milkshake etc. etc. At times at the car counter. Now as a visitor. The quality was always good and tasty. The service is ok. I'm 70 and think the touchscreen ordering is very good. P.S. Since 2025 I have no longer been convinced. Even the Hamburger Royal with cheese doesn't seem fresh.

Unfortunately our visit to McDrive today was a disappointment. The only positive thing: The employee at the counter was super friendly! But the rest was all the worse - the fries were cold, the burger carelessly slapped into the bag and completely squashed. Unfortunately, the McWrap didn't have much to do with a wrap. Next time we'll drive a little further to another McDonald's. We won't stop here again.

An imposition – this McDonald’s is an absolute disaster! I am really shocked by what I experienced here. It was by far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to! The Chicken McNuggets were soggy, cold and just plain disgusting. The gift from the Happy Meal was forgotten - and this in a children's meal, where that is a central point! The Sprite tasted absolutely nothing like Sprite, just like water - completely inedible. When I complained at the checkout I expected to be taken seriously, but instead I was laughed at! And then the absolute highlight: an employee seriously tried my cup to “test” whether the Sprite really tasted bad. This was not only completely unprofessional, but simply disgusting and incredibly disrespectful. The McChicken was the next low point: undercooked, soggy and half stuck in the packaging so I couldn't even eat it properly. That wasn't food, that was an imposition! I'm appalled that something like this would even pass as standard at McDonald's. I will NEVER enter this store again and can only advise everyone to avoid it! What happened here is an absolute disgrace.

Shift manager quite disrespectful to customers. Out of provocation, we no longer wanted to prepare our order after being politely told. Laughed about it after canceling and ordering again. Totally incompetent young woman who leaves inappropriately cheeky comments! Not recommended.

Really bad rip off, just been there and ordered chicken burger and fries and what was in the bag just the fries!! Without burgers!!! Ordered mayo twice and only received one package!! Totally bad! Likewise the non-carbonated cola?? Ugh, nothing is ordered from the store anymore 🤢🤮

Food was good as always. There was a lot to do when we were there. We ordered milkshake twice. Unfortunately, once it was the wrong taste. However, 4 stars due to goodwill. Ambience is OK, unfortunately the clientele is down. But still worth a visit.

A younger lady at the counter totally rude this evening at 7:05 p.m. The store is full and she attacks everyone. The store was never well managed and we waited 20 minutes for a Happy Metal. A mother with her two children was treated very unkindly. It doesn't work at all! The management should see who works there.

We wanted or rather had to eat on site and didn't get a tray, but got everything in bags and had to eat out of the bag because there were trays on the tables or chairs. We ordered Cola, Sprite and iced tea: it tasted like water and very old drinks without carbonation or taste. Conclusion: Never go to this store again and it's best to burger. It just showed us. That the store has no respect for the guests and is not interested in satisfying the customer. It's just a fact that this store is so underground.

Review for McDonald's: Unfortunately a disappointing experience. We ordered through Wolt, but only half of our order was delivered. When we called the restaurant, we were rudely told that there was “nothing they could do” and that we would either have to wait for the next Wolt driver or hold out until 10 p.m. until the employee got off work. The whole thing was even commented on with a laugh from the employee - an absolute disgrace! When I pointed out that I would then request the money back via Wolt, this was simply responded to snippily with “Yes, then do that.” Service definitely looks different. Mistakes can happen, but such rude treatment of customers is unacceptable. Very disappointing, and next time we'll order somewhere else!

As far as the food is concerned, I won't go into detail because in my opinion MC food is always the same, but what really sets it apart is the service and the quality/cleanliness. Unfortunately, in this branch it is very common to get the wrong dishes or parts are missing. The cleanliness could also be better. During our last visit the entire floor was sticky. Some of the leftover food was still on the tables and the carts for the food tablets were full. The staff at the counter is friendly and always tries to help you.

Is a good McDonald's had fresh salad on the burger the McRib was also okay.

Unfavorable situation today: ordered something to pick up (including three Happy Meals) and only noticed again when I got home that components were missing. The food tastes really good. We have 46 nuggets and none were missing. Promote this one chill employee with a cap and glasses, such a correct and chill guy. Helped us with the discount when the coupon showed an error message, but get rid of your shitty wasp's nest. We eat normally and 9 wasps come, are aggressive and slurp up our sauces. McDonald's is always full, you should take your time with the order takers but it's easy to order and pay. Clean, well it could be better. Although there are staff running around, many tables are not always cleaned. Like everything else, prices at McDonald's have gone up. Burgers are getting smaller and more expensive. But you should be able to afford even that once a month. Financially and health-wise.

The toilet and the greasy, slippery floor don't win any cleanliness awards - but Big Morning Farmer with Cappuchino Grande without milk = 3x espresso delicious and hot. Nice service and attractive furnishings.

First order: 40 min waiting time.. canceled before the time was up. Ordered again. Order accepted. Waiting time 55 minutes. Canceled before the time of 13 minutes was up. Occupancy from 2100 onwards was low. What QM means should be reconsidered here.

My boyfriend ordered McPlant Nuggets for me, they gave him normal ones instead. He asked for McPlant. When you think it couldn't get any worse, this store goes one better. We go there once a year to see if things have improved. Quite the opposite. It never ceases to amaze me that this MC holds up. Today we sold out of 4 burgers we ordered twice. Can happen. It's not bad either. We had the food for about 5 minutes before we noticed because we only ate the other one. My husband brought the burgers back and got the right ones. AND THE SERVICE PROMPTLY PUT THE BURGERS BACK FOR SALE. THIS IS AWESOME. 🤮

Dreck überall, tausende kleine und grosse Fliegen innen, Essensreste und benutzte Tabletts ohne Ende. WC no go. Aussenbereich Papier Kartons fliegen verstreut in der Landschaft um MCD rum. Tische alle! schmutzig mit Schmierrändern und Essensreste, Mitarbeiter nur unter mehrfachem Nachfragen den Tisch abgewischt, mit einem dünnen trockenen Lappen. Mehrere Mitarbeiter jedoch keine Struktur, zB auf dem Rückweg Sachen mitnehmen und Tische abräumen. Bleibt stehen, geht man vorbei. Mündlich Bestellen Schwierig da Mitarbeiter nichts versteht. 3 Angebotene Welt-Sprachen neben Deutsch, haben nicht geholfen. Und auf dem WC gibt's sonst noch Palaver mit den Leuten die noch 50ct eintreiben, neben ihrem Lohn. GUTE NACHT DEUTSCHLAND! MCD kann überall dicht machen, bei dem Personal, Hygiene, Geschmack und Preis. Sieht mittlerweile überall so aus.

It's a shame that you have to give at least one star. The kitchen looks impossible. The tables are not cleared or cleaned. The tablet stands are not emptied, so even though you are in the store you only get one bag and are then allowed to eat on the dirty table. There are plenty of spider webs hanging on the ceilings to keep the mosquitoes away (Top) The toilets are terrible. The floor is sticky and there are no drying sheets available so you have to use the air dryer, which is far too powerful. By far the most disgusting McDonald's in all of Düsseldorf. I always regret eating there. By default, I get the Filet o Fish twice because it tastes like crispbread and is easy. Who knows how long it's been there. It's warmed up and that's it. The same every time. You have to insist on a fresh Filet o Fish to get one. The majority of the employees are unfriendly, partly uneducated and unfortunately quite difficult to understand. Today, August 29th, 2024, there were more flies in the restaurant than guests. I couldn't even eat the cold fries that came with it in peace. After I was finished and went to the toilet, I backed out because of the smell. To wash my hands, I simply took a deep breath in front of the door, quickly went in, washed my hands and quickly got out again. Terrible. Just bad. I actually go to McDrive to place my order so I don't have to go to the restaurant (if you can even call it that) but every time something is missing. Really every time. So it's better to go in and see that everything you ordered and PAID for is there. Sorry, I wouldn't actually give it any stars, but unfortunately in order to leave a review you have to choose at least one.

I'm only here because I'm in the area from time to time for work and there's nothing else. The store is always dirty and you have to order from the machine yourself. I don't understand why as a customer you have to take over tasks from the employees. It's not just like this at McDonald's, but also in the airports and other shops and stores. As a customer, I don't want to do everything myself. Should I then prepare the food myself and then clean up??? Things are going downhill with all these “technologies” and AI. The food here isn't always fresh either.

The worst McDonald's ever. It starts with the ordering machines in the entrance area being so close together that visitors have to slip past each other. Actually, two machines facing each other cannot be used at the same time because it is so narrow. There is garbage and leftover food on the floor in the restaurant. The tables could have done with more intensive cleaning. We then waited almost 45 minutes for our order. Despite ordering with table service, our order was placed at the counter for pickup. There were two bags (four orders) and the drinks ready. When we unpacked it at the table, we discovered that all the fries and sauces were missing. These were then handed over to us immediately after we complained at the counter. Unfortunately, this restaurant is not recommended.

Every time I get involved with the McDrive because it's so close and every time it takes forever. That was the very last time. PS: I'm standing in Drive right now and I'm bored out of my mind.

It is fascinating! We only have Jieper every few years, but every time there is something. During Corona times we waited for three hours because one (!) employee was doing restaurant and deliveries, as he described to us. Yesterday we spontaneously stopped by after work. The veggie variants were made of meat without any indication and there was no burger. It can happen that something is missing, but packing meat instead of veggies is really not possible!!! Today we still had Jieper. We ordered via Lieferando. What can I say: There was no burger and the veggie versions were made of meat. Do your employees hate veggies? Is the lack of products a system to increase sales, or do your employees need to be trained again? I can't recommend this branch - especially not for veggies.

McDonald's offers quick and cheap meals, but the quality varies. Sometimes the burgers are fresh and tasty, sometimes they are disappointing. The service is usually friendly, but the cleanliness sometimes leaves something to be desired. Overall okay, but there is room for improvement.

I was at the branch in Reißholz for breakfast. The order was fresh and of very good quality. The employees are very friendly. Unfortunately, I discovered that even at this early hour, the branch wasn't really cleaned thoroughly. There are still lots of leftover salad and traces of sauce on the benches and tables. Since there wasn't much to do at the moment, my comment at the checkout was immediately responded to and cleaned. It's just a shame that it's not generally done without “remarks”.
