McDonald's in Düsseldorf

Slow and dirty. I don't know of any worse McDonald's here in Düsseldorf. The place is empty, yet you still have to wait 15 minutes for your food.

The food is good, the service is also good, but it's strange that we chose food here and then received a bag with it in it. The atmosphere is okay. But avoid the restrooms; they're really filthy. The floor is sticky, the soap is gone, and there are fingerprints everywhere.

Excellent service! I'm a delivery driver and I'd like to thank the staff for their friendly and respectful treatment. Thank you so much!

Employees don't know the difference between chocolate and vanilla or strawberry...

I waited over 20 minutes for my food only to discover that one burger was missing from my meal and another was the wrong one. The staff was completely disorganized, and my bag, which had been ready for 15 minutes, was sitting under the heat lamp. Consequently, the food was cold. When I complained about my missing burger, the shift manager told me it was on its way. The burger wasn't even ready, and it was a to-go order (!!!). Incredibly frustrating. I waited 20 minutes, and they couldn't even manage to prepare the order correctly. There was no apology or anything. It would have been incredibly annoying if I hadn't checked. 👎 On top of that, a group of drunk people (probably 10 of them?) were shouting and kicking each other in the restaurant the whole time. A truly awful experience.

No hot chocolate and the place is extremely dirty. You can't touch the tables, they're so filthy, and there's a lot of trash lying around, even though it's hardly busy.

I waited 20 minutes for my food, and there was a piece of plastic wrapper from the cheese in my burger. When I spoke to the manager about it (November 19, 2025, 7:46 PM), the piece of plastic was quickly removed, and he claimed it was just salad and that I shouldn't react so badly. I find this kind of treatment appalling and hope the owner speaks to the employee about it. A few health checks would be very good for the restaurant; I'll make sure they're implemented. I'll never come back. The manager who accused me of lying wears glasses, has a ponytail, and a beard. It's truly appalling how customers' health is treated these days.

Not recommended for vegans! I ordered plant-based nuggets and received meat nuggets in plant-based packaging, and afterwards there wasn't even an apology from the employee, but rather the comment that meat nuggets are healthier anyway... I lost my appetite.

NEVER AGAIN! CHEEKY AND AWFUL AT THE SAME TIME! This branch has been a complete disaster for years!! Always wrong orders, always mistakes, and on top of that, sloppy, disrespectful employees! When you point out their errors and demand compensation, you're rudely dismissed, told it's as if I were blind! Two burgers were missing, and the milkshake was just a cup full of supermarket cream!!!! When I calmly went to the counter, the foreign employee with curly hair and blue eyes completely lost it, threatened me several times, and dumped my milkshake on the counter in front of everyone, slamming the cup down hard in front of me, claiming I was refusing the fruit sauce!! I have never experienced such disgusting, appalling behavior!! They've never heard of rules or work ethic!! Of course, there was no sauce; I should have just drunk whipped cream!! The result: A cup full of cream, fraud, threats, and money down the drain!! You get ripped off every single time!! You get yelled at and humiliated for the mistakes of the damn workers themselves!? How can you let such filthy, disrespectful people work here? If I pay money, they damn well better give me a proper order, whether they want to or not!!! Half the staff should be fired! They should be sued! It's an outrage to employ such disgusting, rude people in this place. Never, ever again!!!!

I'm really disappointed. When I paid for our food, the lady at the till seemed really tired. As soon as we got our order, we went straight home, and when we opened the bag, we were furious because the receipt said "2 chicken burgers," but we only got one, and "5 fries" instead! Outrageous! Next time, we'll check the bags before we leave!

When ordering, I only wanted to change the color of the Friends mug because I already have the same one. However, this was refused without any apparent reason, while a customer who appeared European was able to change her mug without any problems. I felt unfairly treated and very disappointed.

Extremely unfriendly staff. All employees are completely overwhelmed by the technological requirements. When I pointed out to one employee (the older one with a lot of lipstick) that you could also choose the burger from a menu, she was so overwhelmed and annoyed that she immediately said, "You already know a lot."

They've forgotten to put toys, a burger, and fries in my order many times. I've also had customers order small amounts of food, like ice cream or just a drink, and their order was served before mine. What if I'm in a hurry and need to quickly pick up my order and leave, which means I have to wait even longer? I don't blame people who order small amounts, but I think orders should be served one at a time, not just because someone has a smaller order, the sooner. And if I ordered a lot, what if I have to wait two hours?

There were no veggie burgers, and that's in such a large branch... So I only ate a French fry, which unfortunately was cold because it had been sitting at the counter for ages while my drink wasn't ready.

Instead of a Mc Crispy, I got a Mc Spicy (it was on sale for €3.50). But I paid €6.99. No problem exchanging. However, I was denied a free drink when I asked for it, even though my mouth was burning and I don't like spicy food. Customer service doesn't work!

The most disgusting food I've ever eaten. If McDonald's sold food like this in Ukraine, people would throw stones at the place. The fries looked like they were cooked three hours ago. The burgers were literally cold. The only thing that was more or less ok was the Coke.

Half of the food isn't delivered when it's delivered to your table, then there's a debate because the staff can't read the receipt. The manager yells at you because the items you ordered suddenly don't exist anymore.

We were at McDonald's in Bilk on Saturday evening, September 27th, around 10:45 p.m. After placing our orders at the terminal and waiting for our food, I observed the following: A group of boys at the neighboring table had a muffin that either didn't meet their expectations or didn't match their order. One of the boys then took the muffin to the counter, chatted with an employee, and then went with him to the McCafe area. The employee took the muffin (which had already passed through several hands), gave the young man something else to eat, and put the muffin back in the display for re-sale. I'll spare you how disgusting and unhygienic it is to take back food that has already been handed out to customers and simply return it to the counter (instead of throwing it away)... if food is handled so unhygienically in front of customers, I don't want to imagine what goes on behind the scenes.

The special offer burger (Philly) was really dry. So dry that the sauce couldn't compensate. All the dishes were also only lukewarm.

I highly recommend this place. The service is terrible. The order taker is rude and inconsiderate. When I asked for help, he simply handed me a price list. I don't recommend visiting, as you won't find any support or polite, oh, polite, attitude here!

The only good thing was the price!!! Soggy burgers that looked like the employees had sat on them. The pickles were yucky. There was no sauce on the burger. They tasted like nothing. Good evening! I'm very disappointed with McDonald's this time. I ordered three meals: two of them had Sprite as the drink, but we got apple spritzer. In the third meal, I chose water, but it wasn't included. I also ordered potato wedges and received regular French fries instead. I'm very dissatisfied with the service at this restaurant.

Shit, I stood there for 30 minutes, maybe longer, for a McFlurry that was actually melted by the end, and there weren't even any Oreos, even though I ordered with Oreos. They were so rude when I asked where my order was. He said "what?" and a cheeky tone. I don't recommend it at all.

This McDonald's is a complete disaster. I got the smart menu with a chicken burger for my daughter and a cheeseburger for myself. I only had a five-minute walk, and everything was ice cold. The cheese on the cheeseburger wasn't even remotely melted, and the chicken burger patties were dried out. And I'm not even talking about the fries. The Sprite wasn't carbonated and had more ice cubes than the drink—sorry, but that was completely unacceptable. The lady at the checkout didn't even know the words "hello, please," "thank you," and "thank you." 👞

Like mostly Mcdonals, the service is actually good. But the Hamburgers "around the world" and sauces are mostly mehh. Probably making monthly changes to the around the world menu would be actually good bringing new places to try out.

So, today I was at this branch for the 4th or 5th time, and the standards were absolutely exceeded. The service and food were already rather mediocre before. This time, it wasn't even warm. The entire meal was cold, not fresh at all. I had to complain about everything. I went there 4 times, and in the end, I didn't even get anything delivered because the employees aren't open to criticism. I only got my son's Happy cheeseburger, which I brought there myself. And then I saw him take it back with the other people who were already completely out of heat, and just lay it down there with me, and then he gave me a warm one from behind..... the last time I was at this branch, it couldn't be worse. It was also dirty and unkempt, and the employees... it's the lowest of the low, so if you want to see amateurish working methods in action, just go by... I was there last time... If you really want to experience the highest level of McDonald's culinary art, you should go to the branch on Südring. Then you'll know what McDonald's is all about. tastes... In fact, sometimes really good...

The ordering terminals repeatedly failed to accept the discount codes. I waited over two minutes at the open checkout, and no employee (even though there were three present) came to take the order in person (the terminals didn't work with the discount code).

The doors are closed 20 minutes before closing time, and orders are stopped, even though there's still a line waiting. Everyone is sent out. The organization is a disaster, as this doesn't just happen once but constantly due to "overload," even though there are hardly any people there in the evenings.

The absolute worst McDonald's I've ever been to. It should be renamed Slow Food, because it has nothing to do with fast. If you want to wait in line for half an hour hungry at an empty cash register, then this is the place for you. Service is an insult to the paying customer and to top it all off, a service employee almost started a fight outside with an underage customer. I left the store because the level of embarrassment is simply immeasurable. Really, McDonald's should think really hard about taking this store to task and make it clear to the employees that people don't come in to stare at an empty cash register for 30 minutes. This morning I was there and ordered two cappuccinos with "oat milk" and didn't get anything proper. Instead of two cappuccinos, we only got one with "regular milk." We pointed this out to an older colleague at the coffee counter. She rolled her eyes and brazenly said, "YES, we don't have oat milk!!" Why did you just serve the drink instead of letting us know????????? Thank God I'm not allergic to regular milk...that's dangerous. And she even scolded us in her own language at the end, lol. Wow, such a professional performance!! Respect!!

In my opinion, McDonald's in busy locations are rarely good places to eat in peace. The atmosphere is very busy, some of the seats are quite dirty, and it's usually very noisy. The food is quite decent by McDonald's standards. Often, something is missing, but it's usually brought right away.

Unfortunately, this is one of the worst restaurants I know. Not only does everything take longer than anywhere else, which would be okay, but you often don't get what you order. It's okay for a sauce, but when I get regular nuggets instead of vegetarian ones three out of three times and end up throwing the whole thing away because I only notice it when I'm on the train, I can only give this place one star.

Disgusting toilets. And to wash it all away, there wasn't even any soap. When I asked the employee at the counter (July 12, 11:30 p.m.), he said, "It's Saturday, unfortunately, there's no soap." I don't want to know what the kitchen is like on Saturdays.

The service is absolutely poor and completely unprofessional. The employees are lazy, reluctant, and show no commitment. Out of ten orders, nine orders were delivered incorrectly, forgotten, or too little. One particular older employee—a middle-aged woman—is extremely rude to customers and behaves extremely rudely. The tables are constantly dirty and sticky, with food scraps everywhere. The restrooms constantly stink—even basic cleaning isn't done, let alone disinfection. This is by far the worst McDonald's restaurant in the world in terms of the dining experience.

Dirty place, dirty tables, the toilets are disgusting, and the burger (Big Tasty Bacon) was terrible. It was cold and had probably been sitting there for some time. On top of that, I got a stomach ache and couldn't get my head off all day... This urgently needs to be addressed. Three times failed. Better to eat somewhere else.

If I'm going to risk my financial existence for the next month by spending €4.50 on a McDonald's milkshake, THEN I AT LEAST WANT TO GET IT!!! Disappointment upon disappointment, price increases upon price increases, and worse coupons. Back when my turd was still only there for urinating, McDonald's was the undisputed attraction of the month. Now it's garbage every time. This decline is comparable to the Soviet Union in the 1990s. All in all: WHERE'S MY MILKSHAKE, you idiots?

I was there today for the first time in a long time. Terrible: dirty tables, long wait times. In my case, four delivery services were there, and they gave me priority service. The food was abysmal. I waited 35 minutes for my two happy meals with two hungry children. After I complained, I was brushed off with a provocative smile and a disrespectful bye bye. I was laughed at and portrayed like an asi. Everyone laughed at me because I complained. I was waved after and called: “Hello, yes, please feel free to complain!” . I have never experienced such a disrespectful manner in my entire life, in front of my children and all the people there. I will write to the company again! There are consequences! I am an experienced woman, a managing director and founder of a brand. I definitely won't let someone who feels like they've been here in Germany treat me like that. I have never been so humiliated.

the new milkshake is a real scam. I got a rash from it and am currently in the intensive care unit. I have a stomach bug and need an infusion. Burger King on the 1st never again. Doesn't look like the photo at all. shake was just light green rather white. looked like moldy milk.

Well, I was at McDonalds and when my order didn't arrive after half an hour, I asked very politely where my order had gone. A woman then replied in a very unfriendly and impertinent manner that she had already placed the order and handed it over, but that wasn't true because at McDonalds you always have to hand in the receipt straight away. And I still had the receipt. That means the person who would have taken it purely hypothetically didn't hand in their receipt at all. So now I'm asking myself, how can I file a complaint? I neither got the money back nor received my order and I was also treated very unkindly.

I ordered Mc Rib and 9 chicken Mc Nuggets, after 20 minutes nothing was there, I had to get my train. I asked for a cancellation or a replacement product, the employee said you just have to wait (even though I pointed out the train). So I had to go and McDonalds is happy about the 12€ I earned. But: After I got home, I ate wholemeal toast with meat and a salad. It was lighter and healthier than the MC Rib and the 9 nuggets, in retrospect it's a shame about the 12€, but maybe it was better that I didn't get the Mc Rib and nuggets, which might have been heavy on my stomach during the night.

Warning about aggressive male sellers. On April 19th we ordered food for around €20. The preparation took exactly 53 minutes and we received the wrong order, made from cold leftovers. When we complained, we were threatened with beatings by a very aggressive little man with glasses (foreign origin). Then another foreigner rushed to his aid and also threatened us. This inhumane lathe must be banned and such willing primates must be deported! A disgrace! The health department will also be informed!

Outraged! On a Monday lunchtime, two of my friends and I made our way to McDonalds in Bilk. Full of anticipation, we ordered the “Minecraft menu” for a whopping €12.99. Unfortunately, in this branch you almost always get things that have been lying around for a long time, i.e. are limp and cooled down. The tables are mostly dirty and sticky. There is trash everywhere. If you want to eat fast food, there are better places anyway, but when it comes to McDonald's you should avoid this branch in particular.

All employees, except a few, are rude and disrespectful. A McDonalds next to an S-Bahn station is actually a practical thing. 25 minutes until the next train arrives, a lot of people behind the counter - that sounds like enough time. Unfortunately, you order at the machine and realize too late that three of the employees are actually just busy looking at the order monitor every minute and freezing in awe. In between, fries are shaken in the basket and strict care is taken not to give out any food. It's not particularly healthy, so thank you for taking on the responsibility. The other half of the workforce is desperately looking for a buyer for the food that was prepared way too late. They have probably long since left the store in frustration. At some point, despite all odds, the food will be ready. Fortunately, the employees are aware of the fact that you have to eat quickly in order to reach the train in time. That's why the food is usually served relatively cold. Of course, after 20 minutes the train is already gone

Worst staff ever and unfriendly

Fries were really salty even for McDonald's fries, there were no reusable cups, even though there were always people there and the food was somehow cold. But it was quick and what do you expect from fast food at night? Good enough. If there were kebabs under 7 euros at that time, I would have gotten them there

A very good McDonald's, offering: tasty, inexpensive and fast food. It's usually crowded, but sometimes there are empty seats. It includes a clean bathroom and is open late. I recommend the delicious McSet (Big Mac, fries and Coca-Cola) and the rest of the delicious food ;) I will definitely come back here when I visit this city again.

The food tastes good, but I would be happy if the tables weren't always so sticky. It's nice that there are sockets, but they have to be cleaned. Otherwise everything is great every time.

If you have to go very quickly and, for example, nothing else is open in the evening, you can rely on McDonalds. Very tasty every now and then, but can't keep up with all the "self-made" products these days, like in burger shops. Burgers in various designs, side dishes such as fries or finger food such as Chicken McNuggets, desserts such as ice cream or milkshakes, even wraps or salad, additional regular specials and promotions, all of these products are "ok" but not worth mentioning and no comparison at all to freshly made products. McDonalds was also known for its great bargains, e.g. for €1, but due to the current situation this is no longer possible. Accordingly, the price here is roughly in the same region as some "self-made burger shops", which is more worthwhile. Quite good in a hurry, but it lags significantly behind today's times with all the shops that are springing up today where "self-made" burgers, kebabs, fries, etc. are offered. The shop itself looks good so far, a large part of the clientele in the shop is sometimes extremely loud, the staff seems tense, the counter is sometimes filled with tons of ordered bags where no one knows exactly who they belong to and the customers don't really pay attention your order number. The tables and seats are sometimes left dirty. It's a shame, but you turn a blind eye to quick food.

This is unhealthy fast food, why should there be so many stars?! After all, food is the core of what a restaurant should focus on. But if the food is designed to be “body-unfriendly” from the start, it definitely won’t get more than 2 stars! It's also simply worse when it comes to making burgers, fries, salt and actually in the general price-performance ratio compared to small burger joints. - Who do not belong to a franchise company. Now many would say, it's clear. But why is it not clear that one should not aim for a direct comparison. After all, McDonald's isn't untouchable! (Of course, there are 5 stars for the addictive factor that fast food providers may aim for in their guests' food (goal achieved).

I ordered a Big Tasty Bacon Burger, but unfortunately it was cold and not “tasty” at all. After a complaint, the employee brought me a new one, but in a reluctant and rude manner. This new burger, while slightly better, was still colder than the burgers I get elsewhere. Apparently they don't know how to properly prepare a burger here.

Speechless. I sit at a dirty table for 30 minutes... the female staff chats, drinks coffee, plays on the cell phone, while the very committed young man does everything else. Then the lady blames this colleague because he speaks bad German.. zero insight and then wipes the tables in annoyance. The toilet is full of blood. I was intentionally given the wrong toy for my child. You can even see at the checkout whether there are any left. Unfortunately, the employee gave me the wrong one and claimed the original one wasn't there. I even showed him where it was but he didn't want to listen. Incredible.

I've lived in the area for four years and have never had such a frustrating experience. I saw with my own eyes how this employee mixed old fries with some freshly fried ones - and that's supposed to be a portion? If the employee is working so annoyed, he should go home!

Terrible experience at McDonald's. I bought a 20-pack of Chicken McNuggets and was very disappointed to discover that half of them were obviously spoiled: hard, dry and inedible. Furthermore, the fresh nuggets were mixed with the old ones - a clear attempt to deceive the customer. It is unacceptable that such a large brand does not guarantee minimum standards of quality and freshness. I will never go there again and advise anyone not to shop there!

Scolding customers, being discriminatory towards customers, saying bad things behind their backs, and having a bad attitude

Never experienced such unfriendly and incompetent employees as in this store. We are still happy to discuss proof of receipt for the sauces. I understand that mistakes sometimes occur in a stressful job, but it's a mystery to me how someone can be so rude and rude when a mistake is pointed out.

Thanks for the nice phone call!!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered over €40 and called because I've been waiting for the order for two hours and it still hasn't arrived. The employee told me to wait another two hours - and then just hung up!!!!!!! Also, instead of two chicken burgers, only one was delivered!!!!!!!!!! According to Lieferando, I can write an email with my complaint and receive a 10% voucher. Or I cancel the order and order somewhere else. But what should I do with a €4.20 voucher?
