Unfreundliches Personal und geschmackloses Essen 😒

Rassistisch! Sie haben uns buchstäblich die Tür vor der Nase zugeschlagen und uns aufgefordert zu gehen, obwohl wir noch aßen. Wir durften die Toilette nicht benutzen und das Restaurant ist definitiv nicht kinderfreundlich! Das schlimmste Restaurant überhaupt.

Unverschämt, unhöflich und einfach nur schrecklich! Das unhöflichste Restaurant überhaupt. Nicht kinderfreundlich. Wir wurden um 13:45 Uhr bedient und der Restaurantkurs begann um 14:30 Uhr. Tatsächlich wurden wir um Punkt 14:30 Uhr aufgefordert zu gehen, obwohl wir noch nicht fertig gegessen hatten. Das Essen war sehr geschmacklos und die Bedienung hetzte uns herum. Wir bekamen die Rechnung, während wir noch aßen, durften nicht einmal die Toilette benutzen, um uns die Hände zu waschen, und wurden dann einfach rausgeschmissen und vor der Nase zugeschlagen. Eine absolut furchtbare Erfahrung!

Sehr unfreundliche Bedienung. Am Klo schimmel. Das Bier könnte man nicht trinken da es nach Waschmittel gerochen hatte. Der Rotwein hat geschmeckt wie aus tetrapack. Portionen waren klein, nach dem Essen hatten wir noch hunger. Leider können wir dieses Lokal nicht weiterempfehlen.

Großartiges Restaurant. Fantastisches Essen.

Als die junge Frau noch dort arbeitete, waren Service und Essen erstklassig. Seit ihrem Weggang muss ich jedoch jedes Mal etwa 30 Minuten warten, vom Betreten des Restaurants bis zur Bestellung. Ich verstehe, dass viel los ist, da es so aussieht, als würden nur zwei Personen den Laden führen, aber ich wünschte, die Wartezeit wäre kürzer. Wie andere Gäste bereits erwähnt haben, ist der Reis deutlich süßer als üblicher Sushi-Reis. Außerdem scheint es, dass Bestellungen zum Mitnehmen telefonisch aufgegeben werden müssen. Seien Sie sich bewusst, dass Sie, wenn Sie im Restaurant bestellen, erst einmal nach Hause geschickt werden!

Sehr leckere Ramen. Man hat eine gute Auswahl an Essen (Sushi,Ramen usw.) Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis vollkommen in Ordnung.

Top Sushi & Unschlagbarer Preis – Ein echter Geheimtipp! Wir waren zum Sushi-Essen im Louvre und sind absolut begeistert. Wer in Rothenburg frisches Sushi in toller Qualität sucht, ohne ein Vermögen auszugeben, ist hier genau richtig. Unsere Highlights: • Preis-Leistung: Für die riesige Auswahl auf den Bildern haben wir insgesamt nur 31 € gezahlt. In einer Stadt wie Rothenburg ist das ein phänomenaler Preis! • Qualität: Die Platten waren wunderschön angerichtet. Besonders die Inside-Out-Rolls mit Avocado und die knusprigen Tempura-Garnelen (Ebi) waren extrem lecker. Der Fisch war frisch und der Reis top. • Flexibilität: Man kann das Essen auch bequem zum Abholen bestellen, falls man lieber gemütlich woanders essen möchte. Wichtiger Hinweis: Das einzige Manko sind die Öffnungszeiten, da diese stark variieren können. Mein Tipp: Unbedingt vorher kurz anrufen, um sicherzugehen, dass offen ist! Fazit: Satt, glücklich und eine klare Empfehlung. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Essen war okay. Kellnerin 1 std nicht anwesend, d. h. man nichts bestellen, auch keine Getränke.

Sushi ist wirklich gut nur der Reis ist halt oder war nicht perfekt. Die anderen Gerichte gerade die Ente war wirklich schlimm

Sehr leckere Suschi und die Suppe ist auch sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Bedienung war unglaublich unfreundlich. Ich kam alleine – ich wurde weder begrüßt, noch wurde ich mehrere Minuten lang komplett ignoriert, während ich auf einen Tisch wartete, obwohl das Restaurant nicht besonders voll war. Nach einigen unangenehmen Minuten, in denen sie mehrmals an mir vorbeiging, fragte ich höflich nach einem Tisch und bekam nur die Antwort: „Keine Reservierung, keine Plätze“, bevor sie sich umdrehte und mich erneut ignorierte. Keine schöne Erfahrung.

Wir haben bestellt und selbst abgeholt. Die Speisen konnten innerhalb einer halben Stunde abgeholt werden. Das Sushi war lecker und frisch. Zu den Hauptspeisen gab es jeweils eine Suppe. Die Portionsgröße war angemessen und auch preislich waren die von uns gewählten Produkte absolut in Ordnung. Wir haben auch schon vor Ort gegessen und waren von der Gastfreundschaft sehr angetan. Immer wieder gern!

Ein wahrhaft authentisches japanisches Restaurant!

Leider nicht mehr das, was es einmal war. Das Sushi ist lecker und von hoher Qualität, keine Frage. Aber die Preise sind inzwischen teilweise gesalzen wie z.B. 2 Maguro Nigiri für 8,50€ oder das Donburi (Foto) für 19,50€, mit leider für mich deutlich zu wenig Reis. Der Service war einst unglaublich - authentisch, höflich und aufmerksam! Wir haben uns immer sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Davon ist leider nicht mehr viel übrig nach dem Wechsel. Der Charme ist irgendwie verflogen. Wirklich schade.

Japanisches Restaurant Louvre – Heiße Ramen an einem eiskalten Tag Nichts geht über eine heiße Schüssel Ramen bei kaltem Wetter! ❄️🍜 Da es draußen eiskalt war und wir schon seit Mittag unterwegs waren, hatten wir Lust auf japanisches Essen in Rothenburg. Am späten Nachmittag ist in der Altstadt nicht viel los, deshalb warteten wir etwa eine Stunde, bis das Restaurant öffnete. Ich hatte gelesen, dass Reservierungen dringend empfohlen werden, also probierte ich tagsüber, als das Restaurant noch geschlossen war, das automatische Reservierungssystem aus. Mir wurden 1.000 Yen berechnet, ohne dass wir eine Bestätigung für einen Platz bekamen, was etwas verwirrend war. Die Bestätigung erhielten wir schließlich um 16:50 Uhr – als wir bereits vor dem Restaurant warteten. Ehrlich gesagt, wenn man an einem Wochentag früh zu Abend essen möchte, lohnt sich eine Reservierung nicht. Es gab überhaupt keine Schlange. Wir bestellten Miso-Ramen, Garnelen-Tempura und Hähnchen-Teriyaki. Alles war köstlich, bis auf das Teriyaki, das nur mittelmäßig war – die Hühnerhaut hätte knuspriger sein können. Der Service war durch eine einzige Mitarbeiterin beeinträchtigt, die alles erledigte: Gäste begrüßen, Bestellungen aufnehmen, servieren und kassieren. Daher war der Service nicht besonders herzlich, was angesichts der Umstände aber verständlich ist. Tipp: Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind hier nicht optimal. Am besten geht man zu Fuß zum Restaurant.

Die Kellnerin setzte uns an einen nassen Tisch, den wir selbst abwischen mussten. Wir hatten bei der Bestellung keine Getränke bestellt. Beim Bezahlen wurde uns dann aber ein Getränk berechnet, mit der Begründung, wir hätten entweder Getränke bestellt oder für die Bedienung bezahlt!

Das beste japanische Restaurant, das ich je in dieser Gegend besucht habe.

The Eel rice was a little small, but to sell seafood in Germany, witch I can understand. The food was very delicious. One thing could be better, the side dish "Sour white radish" is too spicy from the green chili, maybe change it to red one or nothing, just a small suggestion. 😊

A quiet cozy restaurant. The food was not taken out of the refrigerator to heat up, it was prepared fresh especially for visitors, because of this we had to wait a little, but it was worth it! The food is very tasty!

This little Japanese restaurant in Rothenburg was really unimpressive. The rice in the sushi rolls was actually undercooked! The server (also the owner) was quite indifferent—not the kind of attitude you’d expect from someone running a business. When we arrived (around 7 p.m.), the place was completely empty, and only two more tables showed up by the time we were almost finished. There was absolutely no need to make a reservation.

After a while, she mumbled a half-hearted "sorry" but then completely ignored us to take orders from a Japanese group instead. We expected her to replace our ramen, but after waiting 10 minutes with no response, we asked twice (in German and English) if the dish could be comped or discounted. She didn’t answer, just shook her head and silently brought the bill. No apology, no solution—it felt like she treated us as an inconvenience. On top of that, the food was mediocre: sushi rice was undercooked, and the unagi don was overly salty. One of the worst dining experiences we’ve had—never coming back! --- Worst dining experience – cockroach in ramen, rude attitude! I ate at this restaurant tonight and it was a terrible experience. There was a small cockroach in the ramen I ordered, and when I told the owner, she just picked it out with her finger and checked it, then went back to the kitchen without saying a word. After a while, she just said "I'm sorry" and then she completely ignored us and took the order of the Japanese customers. We expected the ramen to be remade, but after waiting 10 minutes there was no response, and even when we asked twice in German and English "I want this ramen to be free or discounted", she didn't reply, just shook her head. Then she put the tray for the bill without a word. There was no sincere apology or solution, and it was as if we were deliberately causing trouble. In addition, the food itself was not very good. The sushi rice was undercooked and the unaju was too salty. I will never come again!

Delicious food, fresh and high quality.

Authentic and affordable food; in addition to sushi, they also serve ramen and teriyaki salmon. We had a little of everything and were very satisfied. The wait time could have been shorter, but it was still okay. We can recommend the restaurant.

A lovely little Japanese restaurant in an old half-timbered house with traditional interior design creates a truly wonderful and cool atmosphere. And the food was simply fantastic; from the appetizers and sushi to the main courses and side dishes, everything was of the highest quality and tasted truly delicious. The service was very fast, friendly, and professional. Highly recommended, and I'd happily return again.

The Louvre has become one of our regular haunts, we really enjoy being there. If you love authentic Japanese food, this is the place for you. For the main courses, as is often the case in Japan, you get lots of small bowls with pickled vegetables or the delicious potato salad. We can also only recommend the sushi. Everything is also good in terms of price performance. :) The service is always friendly and we simply feel comfortable there.

The service and food were excellent. Traditional and authentic cooking is still done here. The sushi as well as the starters and ramen were very tasty. We'll definitely be back.

Great soups at a very fair price but just average Gyoza. I eat much Japanese food and normally the service is always friendly. Not here. They ran out of sake too that was a bummer because the weather was cold and we really wanted a warm sake.

Had dinner here during our stay in Rothenburg due to my daughter requesting sushi in Germany. Overall, dinner went well. Service was a bit slow, but understandable since the restaurant was crowded and seemed like only one server doing it all. Sushi was not bad, although the fried chicken was outstanding. Would recommend and return if craving sushi while in town.

Maki, udon, gyoza, karaoke are very similar to the Japanese food eaten in Korea. Service, atmosphere and food are all good. There is no pork cutlet. please refer to this.

After 7 years I finally managed to visit the restaurant again yesterday and have already heard that other people are now running the place. I was very disappointed. When we walked in we weren't even greeted and the lady kept us waiting. The starter was very good. We had gyoza and takoyaki. Miso soup was served in advance as a greeting from the kitchen. The main course was again very bad. The nori sheet on the sushi was far too soft, which indicates poor quality. We also ordered the Tempura T dish. The menu states that this dish includes scampi, fish and various vegetables. The fish was missing. When I asked the lady about it, she said that you had to choose between scampi or fish. When we looked at the card together there was no “or” in it. Apparently she didn't understand me that the fish was missing and just ran away. Except for the rice and the potato salad, I couldn't say anything good about the dish and that's why I barely touched the dish. But I was still charged the full price. I find it very sad what has become of this store. There are 2 stars only for the starter and the ambience.

I ordered an Tekkadon and the quality easily outmatched what you can get from most of Japanese food restaurant in big cities in Germany. If you like Japanese food and you happen to be in Rothenberg, this one is highly recommended.

When we entered the restaurant, the owner slammed the door shut. (She could have just asked us to close the door.) We then experienced noticeably different treatment. First, our group of four was only given three menus. Next, she "threw" disposable chopsticks at Out table, even though regular chopsticks were set on other empty tables. While we were still eating, she came over and placed the bill on the table and took away the deco-flowers, even though there were still 40 minutes until closing time. She then turned off the air conditioning, opened the door, and attempted to clear away our unfinished food. We informed her that we hadn't finished the good yet and felt disrespected, then she walked straight back to the kitchen without any intention of apologizing. Suggestion: If there is an issue, please communicate directly with the customers instead of threating them badly.

Terrible experience. We visited the restaurant at 8:00 p.m. At around 9:30 p.m., while we were still eating, the boss put the bill on our table, removed the table decorations and turned off the air conditioning, even though it was the hottest day of 2024 so far. She then opened both doors wide as if she wanted to get rid of us immediately without saying a word. We felt completely disrespected. When we told her how we felt, she ignored us and ran back to the kitchen without apologizing. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. We were shocked that it was a Japanese run restaurant. They are usually very polite.

Were here during the “Der Meistertunk” festival. We were looking for some peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle and came across this small, nice restaurant. We tried a bit of the appetizers, drank some Japanese beer and ended up feeling very full and happy after a sushi platter for two. What was nice was that there was a large selection on the platter, the pickled ginger was so good that we ordered it again and the atmosphere put us at ease. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Two stars for the food! Considering the standards of a multi-day trip to Europe, the Asian food here is quite good and the sashimi is quite fresh. I also ordered soup udon noodles that day. Just a piece of bean curd noodles cost more than 10 euros 😂 Even though I know that local prices cannot be compared with those in Asia, I was still dumbfounded when I saw it! ! As for the service, there were no customers in the store when we arrived that day. The proprietress arranged us to the corner seat, and only provided us with disposable chopsticks for tableware. Even if there were only two Western-faced tourists who came later, they were arranged for four people. The big table also gave them a full set of non-disposable tableware (chopsticks, knives and forks) for use, which felt very bad.

Very tasty food and great service. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant is not very large. Update 02/2024: In my opinion the insider tip in Rothenburg, ToGo is also possible. Soups and sushi are highly recommended, we always try to eat here when we are nearby. The ice cream is also very tasty, so I think the price is reasonable as the quality is high. It's always been delicious, we've never been disappointed here, the quality doesn't decline like other restaurants.

Nice restaurant in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The food tasted good and the service was friendly. Unfortunately it was a bit cool in the restaurant with already low temperatures (minus degrees) outside. A comfortable feeling couldn't really arise. It is also recommended to improve the cleanliness of the toilet. Overall I give it 3 to 4 stars. Because of the food and the service, it's more like 4 stars.

Very nice location with good service and very tasty sushi, as far as I can tell as a sushi beginner. One star deducted because no advice was possible for language reasons and the menu also left us unclear. We ordered a plate with everything and solved it this way (very satisfactorily) 😜. Definitely recommended.

The food is very authentically Japanese, but unfortunately I wasn't impressed with the taste. The rice and teriyaki sauce were the best. The service was quick and reliable, but not particularly friendly and both times either didn't hear or ignored the question about a high chair.

Questo è il primo Sushi che se chiudi gli occhi, ti sembra di essere a Kyoto. È la prima volta, da quando sono stato in Giappone, che ho ritrovato un sushi degno di essere paragonato. E l’ho trovato qui. A Rotenburg.

Absolut fantastisch! Von den authentischen, fein abgestimmten Gerichten über das Ambiente bis hin zum überfreundlichen Service. Karaage (wie alle Hauptspeisen serviert mit jap. Kartoffelsalat, Misosuppe, Rettich, Kohl und Reis) zum Abheben gut. Sogar der Sojabohnensalat mit Sesam ganz fein. Wer auf RotebohnenEis steht, nicht verpassen. Zweiter Jasmintee ging aufs Haus und das alles für 24.50. Satt und glücklich. Am liebsten morgen gleich wieder!

Schöner kleiner Laden. Wenn man den Aufenthalt planen kann, wäre eine Reservierung sinnvoll. Oder man bestellt zum abholen. Preis Leistung geht in Ordnung. Das Essen was wir hatten, hätte etwas geschmackvoller sein können.

Gutes ausreichendes Essen, auf jedenfall frisch und lecker. Ambiente könnte japanischer sein. Sauberkeit gibt den Stern Abzug. Toiletten naja. Bedienung freundlich und hilfsbereit, guter zügiger Service. Auch von der Autobahn schnell zu erreichen, großer Parkplatz nebenan.

Tolles Essen, ich kann besonders die Suppen empfehlen. Die sind sehr sehr lecker. Für die Kinder gibt es auch Pommes, also alles im grünen Bereich. Hunde sind übrigens kein Problem.

A great place for Japanese food in a small town.

Five of us went to Japan Restaurant Louvre for dinner. Although we had made a reservation the waitress was a little confused, but we did manage to get a table. There is only one waitress serving all the tables and one chef in the kitchen. She did not speak English, but as we have eaten in many Japanese restaurants before we managed to get the items ordered that we wanted. The food was good and the price reasonable. We did not mind waiting for various items including the bill as we were not in a rush.
