Lilie in Volkach

We've been to the Lilie several times, and every time it's been absolutely fantastic. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food has always been excellent, both in terms of taste and appearance. The wine and beverage selection leaves nothing to be desired. Both the courtyard and the restaurant are cozy and inviting. We always enjoy coming back.

Too expensive for francs, unfortunately like in a railway mission, stylish is not always appropriate

Beautiful courtyard restaurant. Unfortunately, a reservation is required for outdoor seating. We made a reservation. The seating is very tight, and the noise level is accordingly high. But that's what happens when a restaurant is full. Very good food and good drinks at the typically higher prices. Friendly and attentive service. Recommended.

Overall, the atmosphere was nice. However, it was quite loud when the place was full. Unfortunately, my beef goulash was tough. Overall, I'd subjectively describe the food as pretty decent.

Very good quality food, pleasant ambiance, and excellent service. We ate here for the second time and were very satisfied. The portions could be a bit larger (especially the meat), and the side salad could be a bit more original. This time we were on the first floor. The tables and chairs aren't too close to neighboring tables; it's not cramped, and there's plenty of space. Tip: Make a reservation!

The homemade lemonade, which cost just under €6, was a 200ml slush. The "homemade" hollandaise sauce wasn't there, and the request for two extra fried eggs with the schnitzel was not only denied, but also answered in a very unfriendly manner. All in all, not particularly pleasant.

Really good Franconian food with friendly staff

We were there today at 5:00 PM with four adults and three children. The service was very friendly and great with children. Even our children's request for the same plates was fulfilled. We felt comfortable from the first minute to the last. The food is worth every cent. From the marrow dumpling soup to the schnitzel and the pike-perch. Top quality, and the chef and team know their craft. We'll be back. Thank you very much.

We had five shoulders of savoy cabbage at the table. The savoy cabbage was served in a large bowl. Enough has already been said about shoulders of savoy cabbage. The savoy cabbage wasn't simply sliced ​​and steamed, but also had a delicious roux. Our schnitzel-loving friend was delighted with the homemade potato salad. The service was friendly, the wait time was short, and the value was reasonable. Everything was excellent.

der Besuch der Lilie litt ein wenig unter den Witterungsbedingungen, da wir uns einen gemütlichen Abend im Biergarten gewünscht hatten. Die Reservierung klappte einwandfrei und auch die bestellten Speisen und Getränke kamen flott und professionell serviert. Die Innengastronomie leerte sich glücklicherweise unerwartet rasch, so daß wir zu 7. nach innen rücken konnten und bis Geschäftsschluß daß ausgegebene Ziel (gemütlicher Abend) erreichten.

This evening the four of us ate at the Lilie (pike-perch fillet, porcini mushroom ravioli, Schäufele and crème brûlée). Food and drinks were very good, the service was excellent in every respect!! A very nice, competent and warm lady took care of our well-being. Class! Gladly again at any time!

Very well located restaurant in the middle of beautiful Volkach. The food was really excellent, I had Schäufele with dumplings and savoy cabbage. The Schäufele was huge and the side dishes were also excellent. We were served very friendly and there is also a beautiful garden, which we unfortunately couldn't use due to a thunderstorm. But no problem, we were able to move into the upstairs guest room, which is also very nicely furnished...

We were in the Lilie restaurant with a group of eight people and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The typical Franconian food was consistently very tasty, the portions were generous and the taste was authentic - exactly how you want it. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive service, which ensured that we felt comfortable at all times with a good mood and a lot of warmth. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right - the quality and portion size match the price quoted perfectly. My personal highlight: the wonderfully strong liver dumpling soup and the delicately braised Schäufele – simply a delight! A real gem for fans of Franconian cuisine – we would love to come back

Very nice restaurant in the heart of Volkach. The menu is small, but the dishes are fresh and delicious. The service is attentive and courteous. Certainly one of the best restaurants in Volkach. Reservations on weekends are definitely advisable.

Innerhalb 2 Tagen war ich 1 x zum Abendessen in der Lilie und dann zum Mittagessen. Weil es einfach soooo gut war. Ich hatte Spargel mit einer hervorragenden Hollandaise, dazu fantastische gekochte Kartoffeln und dazu noch ein Zanderfilet vom feinsten und perfekt angebraten. So ein tolles Essen, bei dem ALLES von A-Z hervorragend geschmeckt hat und dann noch von bester Qualität, hatte ich lange nicht. Es gab viele tolle Gerichte auf der Karte, man kann sich kaum entscheiden, so entschied ich, am nächsten Tag noch gleich den marinierten Ziegenkäse auf Salat mit Baguette zu geniessen. Ich sass beidesmal draussen und fühlte mich sehr wohl. Man wird auch sehr aufmerksam und freundlich bedient. Im Innenraum sieht auch alles sehr schön geschmackvoll aus. Ein fantastisches Lokal - wirklich sehr zu empfehlen und jeden Euro wert. Gerne wieder, wenn ich in die Gegend komme.

Mit Glück haben wir aufgrund eines Tipps von Einheimischen kurzfristig einen Tisch reservieren können. Folglich war das Restaurant voll und leider sehr laut! Die Gespräche der Nachbartische waren so laut, dass man das Gegenüber nicht gut verstehen konnte. Service und Küche jedoch hervorragend! Die beiden Damen im Service ruhig und erfahren, trotz der Zwischen-Bestellungen. Einblicke in die Küche zeigten, dass auch hier eine ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre herrscht. Das Essen: Tafelspitz in cremiger Meerrettichsoße und auch die Bärlauch-Nudeln mit gebratenem Fisch. Danach passte leider kein Nachtisch mehr rein ;-/

Das Essen war außerordentlich genüsslich und sehr schnell am Tisch. Weiterhin war das Ambiente mies geil. Das Servicepersonal ist besonders nett und zuvorkommend. In der Atmosphäre des sehr schön gestalteten Biergartens fühlten wir uns wie Zuhause.

Went there for lunch today with friends and family for my 60th, we were thoroughly impressed, the food was all very appealing, very good and plentiful. Price performance absolutely justified. Will happily eat there again and recommend it to others.

On a Saturday evening we spontaneously asked for a table for four. And even though there was a lot going on and many tables were reserved, the waitress tried hard to organize a great table for us. What luck: Great service, super friendly service overall, excellent food: Franconian specialties, but also good vegetarian dishes. Great wine! Full 5/5!!!

Absolutely delicious and freshly prepared food. Large portions and reasonable prices. The service is very attentive. The decor of the restaurant is modern and very tasteful. The toilets are also modern and very clean and well maintained. I can recommend the restaurant without reservation.

Unfortunately it's not quite enough for me to get a 5th star. I think the layout of the facility is too reminiscent of a canteen? This means it's not particularly comfortable. Food is delicious. My highlight was actually the fries with the schnitzel because they were really crispy and tasty. Schnitzel was completely ok. But for 5 stars. That's enough Ned would rather give this a 4.5

Zusammen mit einer Rollstuhlfahrerin war es schwierig, in Volkach ein zugängliches Restaurant zu finden. Die Lilie hat einen Rollstuhl-geeigneten Zugang und auch ein entsprechendes WC. Wir kamen ohne Reservierung in ein volles Restaurant, und es standen wohl noch weitere Gäste, die reserviert hatten, in Kürze ins Haus. Dennoch durften wir bleiben und wurden ausgesprochen freundlich bedient! Danke! - Das Essen war sehr lecker, zum Dessert die Tonka-Crème-brulée eine echte Wucht! - Essen und Bedienung haben die fünf Bewertungs-Sterne solide verdient, der Gastfeundschaft gebühren sogar sechs Sterne!

Service unfriendly. Food very expensive and just okay. The steak and herb butter tasted like it was from the fridge. Stressed while eating, forced to walk quickly. Very loud. Add salt to sauces Seats, especially benches against the wall, uncomfortable. Ask about small ones!! Special requests were met with eye rolls. All in all very disappointing experience.

Ordered half duck and pork loin. The duck dumplings were still raw inside. The pork loin still bloody. The ambience is okay. Acoustically a challenge with heavy traffic.

A great restaurant quite inconspicuous from the outside. There is very good food, also typically Franconian. Very friendly staff I can only recommend it.

Ambience very nice and modern, service friendly and fast. Cordon Bleu was tasty, portion was OK. Schäufele was OK, seasoned a bit hesitantly. The cream schnitzel was not breaded, which was not on the menu. The meat was still very medium and quite pink, for pork... the sparrows were strangely sweet and more pancake-like. Side salad and savoy cabbage were great.

Sehr freundlich bei der Reservierung für 7 Personen. Bei Ankunft war eingedeckt und die Bedienung nahm alle Getränkewünsche mit der nötigen Beratung entgegen. Die Weinauswahl war gut und die Preise verträglich. Die Speisen kamen zusammen , nachdem die 2 Vorspeisen verzehrt waren . The restaurant was quite full but the friendly waitress showed us a place at a table of six, even though there were only three of us. We felt very comfortable there. Our ordered beer was delivered after a short time. We liked the food (Tafelspitz with tagliatelle and horseradish sauce, as well as the Schäufele with dumplings and savoy cabbage) very much. It was a good idea to eat there.

Wir hatten aufgrund der guten Bewertungen reserviert; leider ohne vorher den oberen Speiseraum in Augenschein zu nehmen: Ein kalt beleuchteter Saal ohne akustische Dämpfung durch Stoffe o.ä., so dass aus den Unterhaltungen der verschiedenen Gästegruppen ein wirklich nervig lauter Geräuschteppich entsteht. Das Essen an sich hat uns zwar geschmeckt, aber in dieser Umgebung leider überhaupt keinen Spass gemacht. Schade.

We always like to visit this restaurant when we are in Volkach and were thrilled this time too. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the selection of food is plentiful and varied. We chose chanterelles seasonally and were thrilled. The very tasty side salad is also worth mentioning. Fresh, crunchy and really tasty.
