Weinstube Torbäck in Volkach

Unfortunately, the food wasn't that good (it wasn't well seasoned, and the wine sauce tasted like it was pure, uncooked wine). There was also a very limited vegetarian selection. The staff was friendly, and the ambiance was very nice!

That's what won us over. A great restaurant, just outside the center of Volkach. Perfectly chilled wine and the finest food. Here, true culinary art is still at work. The chef cooks himself.

We had no luck at TORBÄCK...The waiter took ages to arrive, but he was very friendly when he did. The liver dumpling soup was lukewarm, the dumplings themselves were almost cold...the tarte flambée was abysmal, and the side salad was incredibly sour. What a shame.

Had the rump steak with fries or unfortunately the salad was forgotten but was served when asked but somehow it was not right with the order because on the menu was rump steak with whisky sauce and potato cakes or spectacle written on it price a bit more expensive nevertheless the service was good and the food was good

It's nice that there is hospitality here again. The farm (vineyard) is very cozy and the staff is very friendly.

Very cozy restaurant with a good selection of wines, among other things. fine Franconian cuisine, very friendly and attentive staff, cozy courtyard. No tourist scam and reasonable prices, even just sitting down and relaxing with a good glass of beer is no problem (it doesn't have to be at mealtime). We were there at coffee time, enjoyed a good coffee, and since we liked it so much, we stayed for two good pints and a nice beer. 😁🍷🍺👍. We'd love to come back

Ate incredibly badly and was rewarded with even worse service. This restaurant is absolutely not recommended, please move on, there are plenty of good restaurants with friendly staff in Volkach.

Five of us hikers spontaneously stopped by Torbäck, were very satisfied with the food and enthusiastic about the service Alex; she was competent, refreshing and authentic. To our surprise, there was also tavern music for Shrove Tuesday. It was a great evening, we felt very comfortable among the many locals. We can only recommend Torbäck and will come back by bike in the summer

Good Franconian cuisine and hosts who don't leave you out in the rain after the kitchen closes. (Here in Hamburg it's completely normal to eat out after 8 p.m.) The tarte flambée after the kitchen closed was delicious and a soup beforehand was also possible. Were there twice in the last week.

There is really good Franconian food here. The service is attentive, friendly and accommodating. The guest rooms are decorated with attention to detail. I can recommend the Torbäck with a clear conscience.

We were often at Torbäck and were always satisfied. Now we wanted to reserve a table for 9 people. Impossible! On the phone, even during opening hours, there is only an answering machine. Apparently you can't use the online form outside of opening hours. While the form was being opened, it was possible to send the form, but there was no subsequent response such as an email or callback. There is no email address. The address of the winery that operates the wine bar does not work. This can only be classified as terrible service. The Torbäck will never see us again. Call the competition and the reservation is made. The Torbäck operator should learn a few things about this.

Long waiting times, very small portions. If you're not hungry, you can stop here, but you can't have a full dinner.

We had the two Franconian specialties - Fränkische Bratwurst and Blaue Zipfel to go with the Sylvaner.

Come here every year and eat Schäufele. Tastes delicious. Price performance fits 😄👍

Service was good! Immediately took note of any deficiencies in the food! The food was ok! There's more! There is room for improvement! In terms of taste and most importantly, warm to hot! Ours was still on the verge of ok but had already cooled down a lot! Ambiance, yes if you like it! That's what I decided! That's a matter of taste! Despite my rating, I would go back! It wasn't bad! Trying it out helps! You have a chance to improve (warm food) and when I come back I'll enjoy your food! 😉 There must be sensible criticism! I'll be back! And you can eat well!

Reserved today on Christmas Day with 13 people. Unfortunately, it was an absolute failure. Goose leg, not a disaster because of the salad plate, red cabbage was served when you asked, sauce only came when asked, plate for the goose leg came without sauce. You could only order drinks once, the service staff wasn't interested in the empty glasses . Fries with the schnitzel come almost cold. Very disappointing across the board. We don't even want to talk about the waiting time until the first meal came. We won't recommend this restaurant in the future and won't make a reservation there ourselves. It's a shame because it was extremely good under the management of the last tenants. Very, very unfortunate.

This is not THE award-winning luxury restaurant in the area, but if you appreciate really good food at a reasonable price and super nice and attentive service, you're better off here than in the Michelin-starred kitchen! I had a Schäufele that couldn't be made better, with a really good wine from the winemaker next door. The nice man from the service looked after his guests very attentively and cheerfully, which was more than pleasant. That's how it should be, and that's how it's worth every penny!

Wir waren Abends im Torbäcker essen und es hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen! Die Bedienung war nett und nicht so hektisch wie in anderen Restaurants. Wir haben uns eine Kürbissuppe vorweg geteilt und hatten dann Zander und Spinatknödel. Das Essen war super abgeschmeckt und individuell. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Zufällig vorbei gekommen. Platz bekommen und super freundlich begrüßt worden und einen Platz bekommen. Das Essen war hervorragend und auch die Tellersprache modern und ansprechend. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis vollkommen ok. Gerne jederzeit wieder.

Die Weinstube ist einladend eingerichtet, gemütlich mit dem Flair des Alten - ein guter Innenarchitekt. Wir hatten Flammkuchen aus der Convenience-Retorte, nicht mal richtiger Créme Fraîche wurde verwendet, was bei einem Preis von 12,50€ für eine kleine runde Fertigteigscheibe ohne besonderen Belag teuer scheint. Der Salat mit Tofu war in Ordnung, auf alle Fälle die bessere Entscheidung für Vegetarier. Eine ehrliche Antwort bekamen wir zur Frage nach dem Kaiserschmarren, ob er denn frisch gemacht würde. Der Preis-Leistungs-Vergleich zwischen Affogato und „Süße Versuchung“ (als Cappuccino mit Überraschung beschrieben) hinkt beim Preis. Die Überraschung ist ein kleines Blechkuchenstück in der Größe eines Keks mit einem Spritzer Schokoladensauce, kostet aber 2€ mehr. 5,90€ für einen Cappuccino mit Keks. Der Wein des hauseigenen Weinguts ist sehr gut, wir probierten Silvaner und Domina. Das Personal ist freundlich, flink, beflissen - eine positive Stimmung im Lokal, das wir für einen Wein aber ohne Essen empfehlen würden.

Die Wartezeiten waren völlig legitim. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, und der Service während des gesamten Abends war sehr angenehm... Rund um kann man sagen, ein schöner gemütlicher Abend...

Wir haben den Abend dort sehr genossen! Das Essen (Schäufele) war großartig, das haben wir noch nirgendwo so ausgezeichnet gegessen. Unbedingt probieren! Wir waren mit unserem jungen Hund dort, die Bedienungen waren alle furchtbar nett und zugewandt, der Hund wurde begeistert begrüßt und gleich mit Wasser versorgt, echt super! Total empfehlenswert!

Salat mit Putenfleisch für 14..90.- relativ klein, und könnte besser schmecken...Espresso Preis sehr teuer ...

Wir waren heute das zweite mal hier essen. Obwohl schon spät haben wir noch etwas warmes zu essen bekommen und sogar der Ofen wurde nochmals eingeschaltet für das gewünschte Dessert. Die Bedienungen waren sehr aufmerksam, so dass wir uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Auch mit Kind ist man hier willkommen.

Salat mit Pfifferlingen war nicht gut gewürzt und die Pfifferlingen wabbelig. Der Service hat sich entschuldigt, das s es lange gedauert hat aber auch bei uns gejammert das alle Mitarbeiter krank sind usw. Sehr unprofessionell.

Es war ein sehr schöner Abend im schönen Innenhof. Lecker Essen schönes Ambiente. Die Bedienungen war sehr höflich und sehr nett haben sich um unser Wohl immer sehr bemüht. Ich kann es gerne weiterempfehlen. ALLE Gerichte waren sehr gut.👍
