Normally very good. Last time, when there were four of us, the food was unfortunately cold.

If you don’t like schnitzel, beer, plates of sausage and cheese and groups of guys bullshitting with stoneware mugs.. maybe not your place. Otherwise just a great local place.

A highly recommended destination in Nuremberg.

We spontaneously stopped by last night for a quick bite to eat. I was impressed by the friendly waitress Nicola, who ran the entire place single-handedly without losing sight of the bigger picture! She remained friendly throughout, the delicious food arrived quickly, and the beers (Huppendorfer from a wooden keg) were a real treat. I highly recommend the Landbierparadies on Leipziger Straße!

Seven of us went there for my son's 21st birthday and spent almost €200. The food was good, we drank a lot, ate well, and weren't really stingy—we just wanted to have a nice evening. Unfortunately, the first impression upon arrival wasn't perfect: The table wasn't completely clean when we sat down. We overlooked it, thinking the rest of the evening would surely make up for it—sadly, it wasn't. The evening was completely ruined by one small thing: We just wanted to cut a small birthday cake we'd brought with us to celebrate briefly with my son. Instead of showing a bit of friendliness or goodwill, we were unpleasantly reprimanded. We even brought our own table linens—the only thing the restaurant gave us were a few plates and forks. We calmly tried to explain that we didn't know that and that the situation was really uncomfortable, but all we got was a constant "Yes, but..." No smile, no understanding, no consideration. My son felt really uncomfortable and disappointed afterward – and this on his 21st birthday. Honestly, with a transaction of almost €200, one would have expected a bit of warmth and goodwill in such a special case. It's a shame – we would have loved to come back, but definitely not after this experience.

Some of the best Franconian food north of Nuremberg—or even in Nuremberg. No ready-made products—everything is freshly cooked. Service is always friendly and fast, and the food is also extremely affordable. Great! Recommendations: Schäuferle (a kind of pork shoulder), Sauerbraten (a kind of sauerbraten), and Roulade (a kind of roulade)!

We went there yesterday for dinner, like we do every week, but we've never experienced such chaos before. There was a long wait for everything, the service was very unfriendly, the beer was foamy, and the food was cold.

The food was very mediocre, and the service was disappointing. It's a shame, really, considering it's a nice spot between residential buildings.

A wonderful (last) summer evening. A fantastic atmosphere. It calls for a repeat! And easily accessible by VGN (Valley National Rail) via Schoppershof/Rechenberg.

I was truly disappointed with my visit to this beer garden. The ambiance was nice and cozy, and the staff was very friendly—there's really nothing to complain about. But: The food was an absolute disaster! My pancake soup arrived ice cold and had barely any flavor, more like lukewarm water with a few shreds of pasta. The roulade wasn't just cold, but tasted so bland that even the spices seemed to be on vacation—and as if that weren't enough, it was served with a lumpy, unappealing sauce. At these prices, I at least expect the food to be fresh, hot, and, above all, edible. Unfortunately, even the friendly staff couldn't salvage this impression. I definitely won't be coming back and can't recommend this beer garden to anyone who values ​​good, warm, and tasty food.

I'd recommend it to anyone from the north. The only downside is the ambiance, which I found a bit uncomfortable. The extensive beer menu, the reasonable prices, and the food are great. You can buy a beer mug, which is also a nice idea. There's an opportunity to sample beer, and there's a "beer of the week" as a special recommendation from the house. I felt comfortable, even though the surroundings aren't that nice. Excellent, I'd gladly go back.

So the color of gravy is deep brown...not white-brown like innocence. The salad was great. The next time I come by, the chef will have learned how to make roulades in a roasting pan from a Bavarian grandmother. Lots of love

We celebrated a birthday, and unfortunately, it wasn't a very pleasant evening. The service (except for the young girl with the piercing) was very unfriendly and, of course, stressed. The food was good, except for the potato salad. As a guest, you feel like you're just a nuisance to the staff. It's a shame, but of course you won't go there again.

Beautiful beer garden or pub. A changing selection of Franconian beers on tap, along with delicious food. Snacks, including Schäuferla (a kind of fried sausage), schnitzel, and bratwurst. Highly recommended. In good weather, of course, in the beer garden.

The place isn't as bad as it's portrayed in other forums. The staff is friendly and helpful. Of course, they'll ask for another drink. It's not pushy. The food tastes good. Unfortunately, some items on the menu were unavailable during our visit, which detracts from the overall impression. But I would definitely recommend it.

A typical beer garden nestled in the streets of Nuremberg. Nothing fancy, just honest food and good beer. It's also within easy walking distance of the Nordostbahnhof train station.

I ordered a salad with salmon. It didn't taste too bad, but the lettuce leaves weren't washed well, and you ended up eating some sand. The value for money was simply appalling. I'm sorry, it was simply a disaster.

A cozy beer garden in a quiet location. It serves Franconian food and, of course, good beer. Many seats are under large umbrellas, so you can also sit in the shade. It's easily accessible by public transport, a 5-minute walk from the Nordostbahnhof subway station.

We've been guests for a while. However, for some time now, we've had to wonder where this place is headed. The boss always looks grumpy, and his tone is like something from a barracks yard; the days of the East German Army (NVA) are over, by the way! Some of the waiters are also rude and snappy. 95% of the time, the food is very good, with generous portions and a fair price. If the boss were to change, or receive some long and intensive training, it would be a great place again! By the way, if customers want to pay, please don't ignore them in the future or complain about it to other guests!!!

We celebrated a birthday there – definitely for the last time. The service was unfriendly, and we felt unwelcome from the start. Upon arrival, there was no greeting, just a brief inquiry about our reservation. It may have been due to the stress. Our table was only partially covered, so half the guests were sitting exposed. We pointed this out right at the beginning. We were told we could move inside if it rained. That's perfectly fine. Unfortunately, we had to do it when it started to rain. We carried our food and drinks inside ourselves. The subsequent allocation of food for 15 people is understandably difficult, but the staff already seemed annoyed. The service was also very slow and disorganized. We eventually started placing empty bottles and glasses ourselves at an empty neighboring table. What was unacceptable, however, was that the staff outside complained about us – we were annoying them and should leave. They wanted to finish work. Two guests overheard this. It was obviously unpleasant. Shortly after 10 p.m., it was suddenly "last round," even though the opening hours stated the bar was open until 1 a.m. Fifteen minutes later, they asked us when we planned to leave. We left at 11 p.m. We'd still like to point out that the food and beer are good.

Cool location with plenty of umbrellas and additional shelter. The food was better than in previous years. Apparently there's a new chef. The staff is friendly and attentive. Payment is made by beer mat, so always bring beer mats ;-D. I'd be happy to come back.

Tuesday evening, 10:55 p.m. According to the website and Google, the beer garden is open until midnight – theoretically. In practice, we were given a rather rude turn-away by the staff. Serving? None. Apparently, the end of the day was more important than the opening hours. It's nice to be able to simply set your own working hours.

Always a joy and a pleasure. Okay, 1930s ago, a twenty-dollar bill (DM) was enough for four beers and a roast pork, but that's the way things are.

Despite table numbers, the staff rush around like they're blind. They chat to each other in passing, but then they don't pay attention to the guests. We had the classic schnitzel with potato salad and an extra salad as a side dish. Both were cooked very quickly in the pan over high heat. This left the edges rock hard. Which wouldn't have been so bad if you couldn't ride to Bamberg with your knives (they're blunt). Seasoning, even if only with pepper and salt, would have been an option. The coleslaw tastes great, as does the potato salad. The small side salad was tasty. But then you find leaves and stems with brown spots :-( When we said "Everything was okay!" it was "Well, okay." This wasn't addressed. What a shame! I still saw some good Schäuferle (pork shoulder), roasts, and snacks pass us by. Maybe we shouldn't have schnitzel next time.

Dear Landbierparadies Leipziger Straße! Those who come to you appreciate not only the beers from our Franconian microbreweries, but also the authentic 1960s ambiance and Franconian cuisine. The latter could be improved with very little effort. Franconian bratwursts are fried to a golden brown all over and not a sloppy, pale yellow like mine yesterday. That's an effort, it takes time, I know. But you do aspire to be a refuge for Franconian traditions, and that's how I measure you. Even the slice of bread for "däi Wöschd," which anywhere else could be any grain product, in Franconia has to be 1. fresh and 2. artisanal stone-baked or farmhouse bread that 3. tastes good! Only then does bread become a side dish and not just an embarrassment! And bread really shouldn't be a problem in "Paradise"!

I would go back again and again, such a lovely beer garden! The waitress Emelie was so friendly, we immediately felt at home.

Quick meal here in the evening, a spot inside on a Sunday. Just nice and to the point. There is gluten free beer on the menu but they didn’t have it at that moment. I ordered sausages and sauerkraut, which was tasty. I asked if it was gluten free before ordering and the waiter proposed to replace the supplied bread with kartoffelsalat. Which sounded good. Unfortunately it was served with a slice of bread on top… no kartoffelsalat. So be careful if you want to eat here and are celiac. Other than that a great local spot.

The country beer paradise Nordost impresses with a really good price-performance ratio, a variety of beers on tap and a cozy, rustic atmosphere. The food is consistently delicious – classic, down-to-earth and exactly what you want with a freshly tapped beer. I was particularly surprised by the Kaiserschmarrn: I wouldn't have thought that you could get such a fine dessert in a country beer paradise - fluffy, well portioned and really tasty! For anyone who wants to relax and enjoy good beer in Nuremberg, the country beer paradise is definitely worth a recommendation!

As a customer for many years, I am very disappointed by the poor quality of the food in terms of taste and overcooked meat. I hope you will find a new team in the kitchen and service very quickly so that we can come back to you and enjoy the good beer at fair prices!

After we ordered the food, it wasn't there after an hour (!), and the waiter wasn't there at all either! I then ran after him to the service area to find out that he had completely forgotten our order. He then apologized and was contrite, but something like that just can't happen! The pint of beer was also two fingers wide from the rim, apparently austerity measures...

Great food! The waiters and kitchen staff are fast! Portions are generous and reasonably priced. A great selection of regional beers. The menu is also available in English. Even with a larger group, everything went smoothly, and we didn't have to wait long for drinks or food. We'd love to go back!!! By the way, the Schäuferla (a kind of fried dumpling) was delicious and had a crispy crust, even in the evening! 😍

Wages were not paid (not in full) pay slips are missing, the excuse is with the tax advisor where there are currently problems. I have been waiting for 2 months, no goal in sight. Everything just makes excuses, a lot of blah blah blah but no real words.

The garden is very beautiful and the restaurant inside was left in its original state, just as I have known it since I was a child. Personally, I don't like the warm food, but as we all know, that's debatable. The waitresses are completely useless, but they make up for it with their friendly nature. They're just not waitresses, they're students or students. Well, the shortage of skilled workers sends greetings. But as I said, very friendly!!!

Beer selection is really good and tasty. I have the Schäufele and have to say rather medium. Schäufele wasn't really Kross. The dumplings OK but more like a package. And definitely the sauce. That can definitely be better. But the price was OK.

Schäufele and roast pork are great, roulades and schnitzel are not so great, the price list should be updated, it has become more expensive, otherwise a beautiful beer garden in the summer

In summer, the beer garden is of course what attracts people. But the community is also well attended in autumn and winter. From young and old and also families. There is a large selection of local (barrel) beer specialties and good cuisine.

I don't know why Franconian coziness traditionally always requires dark, solid furniture that has a certain "heaviness" to it. It's not quite as bad as the Hasenbuck, but I don't really feel comfortable with it. The staff is much friendlier than at Hasenbuck, the food is delicious and the prices are still somewhat acceptable despite the current inflation.
