Drinks and food came quickly! Service was without many words, probably due to the large number of guests. The ambience of the interior was very nice, the acoustics were very loud..., also because of the many guests. We paid €91.00 for 3 meals and 3 drinks. It's not cheap, but you're aware of that! What struck us a bit bitterly is the fact that there is an option to tip when paying by card. It's not unusual and we like to give tips. However, there are only 2 selection fields here... 10% or 15%. At 10% that would have been another €9.10 on top...! Sorry, that sucks!

Large restaurant in the heart of the tourist frequent square of the town. The restaurant can accommodate large crowds inside and outside when good weather allows. The menu is simple. It serves the staple of the area, i.e. lots of Nuremberg sausages, potatoes and sauerkraut in line of fast food offerings. Service is typical "german", quick and regulated. They like to take order by group. We ordered drinks then waited and then food when the whole area was ready. We were glad to have a place to eat and the use of the washrooms. This is more or less a tourist trap. We doubt very much if the locals would eat here.

Franconian cuisine at its finest! I tried the “journey through the bratwurst kitchen” at Bratwurst Röslein – a real treat! Every bratwurst specialty was excellently prepared, especially the combination with barrel cabbage, potato salad, horseradish and farmer's bread was harmonious and tasty. The service was friendly, the atmosphere cozy and traditional. You immediately notice that there is passion here. Clear recommendation for anyone who loves or wants to get to know Franconian cuisine. We'd love to come back!

Wir hatten auswärtigen Besuch zum Nürnberg -Sightseeing und wollten in eine Traditionsgaststätte zum Mittagessen. Das historische Ambiente beeindruckte nicht aber die Qualität der Speisen. Nürnberger Bratwürste mit Kraut und Brot Bratwürste teils sehr verbrutzelt, Kraut fad im Geschmack, Brot angetrocknet. Schade.

Loved it! Our waiter was so charismatic and efficient. I don't recall his name but he was of French background. He was attentive, helpful and very friendly. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was boisterous and very German 👌

The food was neither fu nor fa. The schnitzel was frozen accompanied by frozen fries as well, for the modest price of €20. German sausages taste hard to me and we didn't like the flavor either. What I liked least was that when you pay they automatically commit you to leaving them a tip (10% or 20%, because you can't even freely decide how much to leave). It is the first time that this has happened to me, and at the time I felt compromised (which I suppose is why they do it that way) and I left him 10%. And although the service was not bad, just with the prices they have (€50 for an schnitzel, 6 sausages, 4 slices of bread, 1 Cocacola and 1 beer) it seems to me that they did not deserve it.

Very nice restaurant with local cuisine. Waiters were super nice and friendly. Children friendly. They have a small play area, kids menu, all the necessary equipment and were extremely fast with delivering children's food.

The food is very disappointed. The meat looks pretty good. But it's not well seasoned, it doesn't taste good at all. And the meat is also very dry. So if you're expecting good food, it's not recommended.

We got an extra table in a corner so that our dog wasn't exposed to the loud hustle and bustle. The team was extremely attentive and the food was delicious. The restaurant is not a tourist trap, the motto is: we won't see the guest again anyway. We really liked and enjoyed it!!! Definitely visit.

A German restaurant with great atmosphere

Such an enormous restaurant. And for that reason it's a tourist destination although seemingly popular with locals too. As a solo diner, I found the service to be good. The food was ok - I ordered the sausage goulash (served very quickly) which was a bit dull. Would I go again? No, not as a solo diner but I imagine it would be better for a large group .

Everything was great and very tasty

Great ambience, good quality food, but quite overpriced. It's always been like that. 6 Nurembergers with a dollop of sauerkraut 14 euros. Dumplings with sauce 5.90 euros. The latter cost 1 mark in DM times.

Delicious food and friendly service! The Bratwurst Röslein offers real Franconian cuisine at a high level - the Nuremberg grilled sausages are particularly recommended. The staff is very friendly and attentive. What's particularly nice is that when the weather is good, you can sit outside and enjoy the ambience in the old town. We were there twice, gladly again!

Long-established restaurant with Franconian cuisine in the city center. Great location, with a large terrace within a building complex. The rooms are also very comfortable inside and the food has always been very good. Negative: In the to-go area, i.e. the street shop at Drei-im-Weckla (which is €4.00 more expensive than its competitor), the roll is served to the guest with their bare hands, i.e. without a napkin, between cleaning the kitchen and collecting the money. I think it's problematic. -2*

Very tasty local good home cooking. The prices are a little higher depending on the location, but the food is delicious and the atmosphere is nice. The service is on point and very friendly.

A beautiful traditional Franconian inn.

I am writing a negative review. My experience in this restaurant is very, very bad, because even the food is not very delicious, except for the sausage. And the key point is that the service attitude is really bad. They kept urging us to order, but we needed to use translation software to order, so it took maybe 5 minutes to order, and then they kept urging us in the middle.

Enttäuschend - Sud der sauren Zipfel war total versalzen, Leberknödelsuppe schmeckte nach allem, nur nicht nach Leberknödel Kartoffelsalat schmeckte wie aus dem Eimer Das Schlimmste waren die Damentoiletten - total versifft Das konnte auch der überaus freundliche Kellner nicht ausmerzen

War heute mit meinem Mann nach einer Stadt Tour essen ,habe mir ein Braumeister Schnitzel bestellt es hat sich sehr gut in der Speisekarte gelesen mit Kartoffelsalat für einen Preis von knapp 24 Euro was bekam ich ein Tk cordon bleu und ein viel zu sauren Kartoffelsalat, Preis Leistung sehr schlecht

Overcrowded restaurant where you can try typical German Food. Very noisy and tables really close to each other. Long wait for the ordering and also the service. Although the quality of the food was good, in my opinion the prize is overrated.

The best meal we had in Nuremberg. The Scheufele & the roulade were incredibly tasty. Super tender meat, delicious side dishes and a good portion too. The service was also great. Despite the large room, the atmosphere was very pleasant and not too loud. Thank you for the beautiful, delicious end to our stay in Nuremberg 🤗

We sat at a table and were completely ignored by the waiters for more than 15 minutes. At a certain point we took a German menu ourselves and started translating the dishes with Google. We heard a chef at an adjacent table explaining some dishes in Italian and telling us that he (rightly) had another role. The waiter next to him continued to ignore us when we asked for an English menu, so we got up and left the place.

We wanted a table in the garden for lunch with a group of 6 people. Although many were still free (all we needed was a tablecloth), we were sent off. We then took a seat at a table at the front of the restaurant. However, we were ignored there for over 10 minutes, even though the waiter was at the entrance. We left the restaurant, which we didn't regret considering the treatment and the high prices. Because of this, we cannot provide any information about the quality of the food.

In my opinion, the Schäufele is not recommended here. Other restaurants in Nuremberg can do this better. The crust was very thin and so a lot of fat had to be cut away. Unfortunately there was only one dumpling, for this price a second one would be justified. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating.

I expected a lot more in terms of food quality but it was a bit disappointing. Pork and baked geese arist, not fresh but heated, mashed potatoes warm and not very tasty. A waitress with short hair, not very polite, she didn't even ask us if we enjoyed lunch, and didn't even who said goodbye when we paid. Too bad, it seemed like a good place to eat!

Absolutely delicious! Amazing food with a lot of tradition. Service is also excellent. Must stop place for lunch or at least to have a beer!!!

Mega delicious food, very good portions and the apple fritters are one of the best I've ever eaten. The service is also very good, the waiters are nice and the food came very quickly. All in all, the perfect overall package.

Service was very bad, we wanted to order later, despite calling the service several times, someone came after about 30 minutes. We paid and left, there really wasn't much going on outside.

Excellent restaurant in Nuremberg. We ordered the dish of the week with sausage, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes and a pork shoulder, both excellent. For dessert, pancakes with apple and pineapple puree, and a strawberry with whipped cream, both excellent. The service was also great, the staff were very attentive.

A visit is a must when you are in Nuremberg :) The best place after 4 days of eating bratwurst! Best bratwurst - very nice service and price/performance is absolutely right. Large portions of food that are tasty and not bulky. We were there 3 times and always like to come back. Absolute recommendation.

The restaurant offers classic cuisine, a must when visiting Nuremberg. The food is very good, as is the service and the location. The price-performance ratio is also good.

Unfriendly reception. Very crowded, which isn't a bad thing in itself. However, the service doesn't keep up. Always trying is appropriate. The price is simply too high for the not-so-great quality of the food. Beer was delicious (Tucher).

Unfortunately, the little rose has left its best days behind it. It seems to live solely on its reputation. We had pork knuckle once and a trip through the bratwurst kitchen. The pork knuckle was very crispy on the outside, but the meat was almost inedible and very wooden (i.e. it was already old or had been baked several times and therefore had no juice). The journey through the bratwurst kitchen is an outrage. At first I thought it was a children's plate (and for around €36 for 2 people or more). We will not visit this restaurant again.

As an old Nuremberg resident, tried again! Even after the change of ownership, unfortunately a disappointment! Price policy and what is offered do not match, even though I was sitting with 4 other tables in the entire restaurant! The outside wall of the house was occupied, but the main terrace was empty! I ordered Liver dumplings in broth Schäufele with coleslaw and dumpling Dessert, the small Kaiserschmarren with applesauce Liver dumplings, meaty and tasty. When the Schäufele came, I could already see from afar that it wasn't from today. Crust hard, but not from the oven or salamander grill, even the bottom fat was hardened, that only happens when it is raised again from the day before! Plus the size, definitely not 540g normal cut, more like 350-400g with bones. Sauce lukewarm and thickened. I don't want to say anything about the coleslaw! For dessert, Kaiserschmarren beautifully layered on top and applesauce in a glass. There is no skimping on sugar here, the bottom of the pan was definitely completely covered in sugar, unfortunately it didn't caramelize because you just bit on sugar when you chewed, applesauce was ok. Just over €50.00 is a lot! What I'm happy to pay, but then for good quality! Prices can be found online. Service was nice and attentive, which is why she received a good tip from me!

Our last night in Nuremberg had to be authentic, so German food it was. And it was delicious. Our waitress was fantastic and looked after us all evening. Just a delightful experience.

Sunday. 04/06/25. 9:00 p.m. An elderly man at the entrance is a very unpleasant person. He refused to enter the cafe an hour and a half before closing time. The hall was 20 percent full when there was a jet. A person may be tired and need to retire.

The food was delicious, but it came well before the drinks. The food was a little warmer than lukewarm and a skin had already formed on the sauce of my sauerbraten, which suggests that it must have been under the heat lamp for a long time. The service was very distant, reserved and sometimes extremely unfriendly

Great food, absolutely nice man in service. Everything that was ordered was at the table very quickly. All 7 of us were able to start eating at the same time. A restaurant to come back to. Highly recommended.

No! Tourist glut or rip-off! Even as a Nuremberg madla, I always enjoy eating here. You can see the buttery soft roulade. The service is great, the food is great and it's quick too. A recommendation from a woman from Nuremberg ;-)

I'm here for the umpteenth time. You will always get a seat if you are willing to sit at the table with strangers. For the size of the restaurant, the food is really very good and comes from regional producers. Today I had the Braumeisterschnitzel (Cordon Bleu) and a small salad. The schnitzel was good and the portion was completely sufficient. The salad was a reasonable size for €5.50, BUT unfortunately it had already collapsed and wilted, so a point was deducted. Otherwise gladly again, never been disappointed.

Today our waitress was extremely rude, even arrogant, which spoiled the whole impression. And on top of that, we had to wait almost 20 minutes for the bill, which is absolutely unacceptable. The atmosphere in the place is great - stylish interior, which creates a really nice atmosphere. I hope the service will improve.

We wanted to have a drink in this restaurant, but an older gentleman, apparently the administrator, refused to let us in. He was very rude, to say the least, even though the waiter kindly invited us to a table. I had the impression that he didn't like the fact that I didn't speak German well and was perhaps not dressed “appropriately”. It's a shame that you are treated like this as a guest. Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable - especially in the catering industry, where friendliness and respect should actually be a given. Maybe it really is time for him to retire.

Nuremberg grilled sausages at Bratwurst Röslein are a must! Definitely try it. A nice fresh wheat beer from the tap rounds off the meal well.

Thursday's visit was the first in two years and had previously occurred at least once a year. The price/performance ratio is not nearly comparable to previous years and if you take traditional dishes together with side dishes and ingredients, you get a final price that is not comparable to what was offered in previous years. By the way: If you are already in the advertising network with the city tour and offer a coffee as a "reward" for the subsequent visit, you should avoid lengthy inquiries like "You don't just want to drink the coffee here, do you?..."But you will eat and drink?" This has something of a special kind of "coffee trip" about it.

Probably the worst service I have received in a very long time! Magnificent dog food served in a bowl, anything but generous. Fortunately we were able to make up for it on a carafe of water as expensive as beer, served for €4.20! To be strongly avoided!

A restaurant where you can eat traditional Nuremberg sausages! They're delicious, but maybe just average... It's a shame that you can't try many different kinds by yourself, so I recommend going with a group! I couldn't really understand the English the old man waiter was saying... It was really delicious and I can't remember when I've ever gotten my food so quickly. Service was also great. It wasn't full, but if it were I could imagine that it would be quite loud, but that's a bit part of the Bavarian atmosphere.

A wonderful inn with a rustic atmosphere. Exactly what you would imagine a bratwurst röslein to be like in Nuremberg. Very tasty food especially the Kaiserschmarrn is a dream. We will definitely go here again next time we are in Nuremberg. Highly recommended.
