Always get very good food with nice service and reasonable prices. Have been here several times and always enjoy coming here.

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. The beer selection is outstanding. The food came before the drinks. The schnitzel was too dry, the sauce from the roast was very thin. The plates weren't cleared away for over 30 minutes, and we couldn't order a bedside table because no one responded. The beer mugs were just dragged through a basin of water, which we didn't find hygienic. A very nice, old visible counter. It was a bit cool in the dining room.

You have to come with long underpants and thick winter shoes, otherwise the unheated guest room is unbearable; In addition, the range of non-alcoholic beers is no longer up to date; A large number of smaller Franconian breweries offer beers that taste much better than those offered in the LBP; One example is the new Wiethaler Alcohol Free Hell

When it comes to beer, the country beer paradise is great. The philosophy of supporting Franconian drinks should be paid with a lot of respect. The service is usually good, competent and friendly. The food, well 😬. The warm dishes in particular are quite varied. Giving criticism on site is very difficult. My stuffed country beer schnitzel was recently very hard and almost without filling 😔. A service person was not available at the moment. I'll be out of there in the future. Cold plates are good.

Lively inn with a well-mixed crowd. Very good beer selection with changing “beer of the day”. Good cuisine with snacks and a classic, home-style selection. Nice beer garden in summer. When there are a lot of visitors, patience is necessary.

Unfortunately, completely overrated, food is good and of course beer too, but the atmosphere between apartments and narrow streets doesn't create a good atmosphere.

There were six of us there today. Food was bad, three Schäufele dry and probably warmed up, roast pork okay but everything with standard sauce and no cabbage or salad, salad with salmon unimaginative and baggers. Atmosphere very loud with groups drinking a lot of alcohol. No apology when we commented on the Schäufele as bad when asked. As we were leaving, we saw that the glasses were being washed by hand in dirty soapy water, despite the high number of guests. I don't need it again!

The place has a great collection of Frankish beers, the food is absolutely delicious, I’ve eaten so many pork shoulders (Schäufele) and though the skin on the one was not as crispy as others the meat melts away from the boon and in your mouth… a masterpiece, the plate of meat and cheese was great too and the schnitzel paired with cucumber potato salad is perfectly executed

Was there once today. I went home happy and full. The roast pork was great! The offer of roast pork + beer/shandy/soda for less than €13 is hard to beat. PERFECT

Service is on point and friendly. A good barrel to tap yourself (on request) is only available here. You have to make compromises when it comes to eating, almost everything is prepared here.

Hurray, it still exists... the simple and, among other things, cozy inn that deserves the name and in the middle of the big city. Beautiful dining room with a pleasant audience, unobtrusive but attentive and friendly service, outstanding food and all of it quite affordable. In summer, the beer garden is certainly a nice place to chill out after work or on the weekend and enjoy delicious beer and food. I'll be back soon!

Craziness! Came here for the first time and fell in love straight away. Really rustic inn with a beautiful beer garden. Beer still comes from stone mugs and wooden barrels. Huge beer selection. Normal prices. I will come here more often.

It's a very nice pub. Unfortunately, today's service was rather incompetent. We sat right in the middle and ordered beer and food (snack). The beer came quickly, but unfortunately the food didn't. After the first beer was drunk (30 minutes / no food there) we asked for another one and the waitress said she would be right there. Unfortunately she didn't come. After a strange gentleman who arrived 45 minutes after us got his food, we asked another waitress where our food was and that we would like to finally order our second beer because the first waitress no longer took our order. The second waitress then said that our food hadn't been eaten and after the first waitress came over she just talked her way out of it and said she hadn't told us anything. She, the first person, didn't notice that we hadn't had any food after 1.5 hours and also that we wanted a new beer. Furthermore, she always "delivered" other people's food to the wrong table and it was a bit chaotic. We then left.

At the beer bingo there were a few beers that I personally didn't like. However, if you are familiar with the local beers there is nothing wrong. The food was great!

Mega beautiful, shady beer garden. Delicious food (including roast pork and Schäuferla). Moderate prices, changing Franconian beers. Fast service, with very friendly staff. If you're not doing well in the country beer paradise, it's your own fault. If someone writes that prices are rising and portions are getting smaller, I can't understand that. Roast pork for €6.90!!! I've had enough. We had 2x roast pork, 1 side salad and 2 unleaded wheat and paid €23.10... where else can you find something like that? Gladly 6 stars if there were...😊 If someone complains that the invoice is written on a lid, how can the tax office check that (meaningfully)? Then I say: Is it still okay? Be happy if there are still rustic inns where you can get a lid. It is then billed at the table, you can see it in black and white... 1000x better than the bars with electronic billing where you can't understand anything... Update... Due to the time of year we were there with a group of 6 people. It is extremely loud in the guest rooms. The service was still very attentive, and you can't complain about the price either. However, since 4 out of 6 meals were lukewarm to cold, a point was deducted. Of course it's nice if all the dishes are served at the same time, but the kitchen would have to be more flexible and shouldn't leave the dishes ready to serve until the Schäuferla are ready.

Good Franconian cuisine and local beers. Unfortunately there are now a lot of reservations. Hazelnut spirit is a hit.

There's nothing to complain about when it comes to beer and food, there's hardly anything left to be desired. My recommendation is Obatzter. There's a wonderful beer garden outside. I don't like sitting inside. I know it sounds a bit worse than it is, but it reminds me a bit of classic train station restaurants. High rooms, smooth walls with dark paneling and a terrible reverberation that simply makes conversations loud without improving intelligibility. I felt quite uncomfortable with a group. Despite the high rooms, this could have been set up in a much friendlier manner. When there's not much going on, the staff is usually friendly, but when you're stressed you notice a lot of the hectic pace and you feel like you're on an assembly line.

Classic dishes done well in a traditional environment. Service was prompt and friendly.

Solid and inexpensive economy. Appropriate for the place and type. Putting a mug on the table would be a great thing if someone saw it after 30 minutes.

The Landbierparadies is a beer garden in the middle of the residential area. The selection of Franconian beers cannot be beaten. The changing dishes also invite you to visit again and again.

Food good and large portion, you can order "small" portions 👍, service very attentive, Outside temperature 2 degrees, room temperature rather cool, drafts in through the windows, wooden chairs cold. Today (September) in the beer garden, very cozy, good food, good service even though there were a lot of guests there!

Unfortunately, the food was less than average. We would also be interested in what the sauce for the roulade was made of. Very, very strange consistency. And when a beer in a country beer paradise is poured together from different mugs and served with absolutely no head at all, then this is more than strange. We were able to watch the pouring process closely from our seat.

First of all, it is really a very nice beer garden, with simple beer tent benches and tables. The service is okay, as is the food, but unfortunately there don't seem to be any clean glasses. I complained about my first glass, the second glass looked the same, then I cleaned it myself with water. Nevertheless, the hygiene standards there would have to be reconsidered.

The food is very tasty, the service was a bit inexperienced, which isn't a bad thing but I'll rate it as it was!

Biergarten war nur halb voll und trotzdem haben wir 40min gewartet bis das essen kam. Die Rouladen für 17 euro waren ein Witz. viel zu klein im Vergleich zum Vorjahr. Wir waren 2023 recht zufrieden und hatten deshalb das Lokal wieder aufgesucht. Die Sauce der Roulade erschien mir mit Wasser gestreckt gewesen zu sein, wie auf dem Bildern zu sehen ist. Dementsprechend hat es auch geschmeckt. Zudem war die Sauce recht glibbrig.

I was recommend to come to this place to try their Käsespätzle, and it didn't disappoint! Had a bit of a miscommunication with the wait staff over my water but it was resolved eventually. The atmosphere was great, the place was, peaceful and the food was good!

Disastrous service as soon as a little more than 1/4 of the seats are occupied. It's gotten worse over the years...

A very pleasant beer garden under the shadow of trees, the customers were all locals. The food was great and the beer was delicious, brewed locally and served in ceramic beer mugs. Very reasonable prices.

Beautiful and usually well-attended Franconian beer garden or bar in the middle of the residential area with a regional food and drink menu at still acceptable prices. Reservations make sense.

Beautiful, old trees. Beer garden is very quiet in the middle of a residential area in the south of Nuremberg. Schäufele tastes great, the meat is nice and soft and the crust is crispy. City sausage with music is also great and everything in decent portions.

In my opinion the most beautiful beer garden in Nuremberg. Good, simple Franconian cuisine and draft beer. Oh yes and not to forget tradition-conscious. You can bring your own food in the beer garden and the service knows what it means when there is a mug 😉

Were there around 6:00 p.m. We were ignored by service until 6:20 p.m. It immediately started raining (trickling). The waitress regretted not being able to serve anything outside because otherwise she would get wet. The drizzle lasted 10 minutes. We left the LBP and ended up in the beer garden of an allotment colony. Great, the roulade was three times as big and two euros cheaper than in the LBP. Thank you Landbierparadies without your great service we would never have ended up there.

A very nice beer garden. Unfortunately I ate the worst roulade there ever today, absolutely tasteless, as if it had been soaked for days. I'm glad I only ordered the small portion. I think the waiter didn't pass on my criticism to the chef. If other dishes there taste just as bland, then even the most beautiful beer garden is of no use.

Rediscovered after many years, super nice beer garden (there are hardly any in Nuremberg anymore), very friendly, fast & colorful staff (yes, people, the world is COLORFUL! ), but unfortunately I can - also on behalf of my companions - only give 4 stars: Schnitzel from the deep fryer and potato salad not homemade, i.e. an infamous bucket salad... that is absolutely not possible in Franconia or in a beer garden in general. You should really work on that. But the snack plates are great and plentiful, the bread is absolutely great, fresh, a real Franconian sourdough bread, a straight A with stars. Price-performance is usually good and fair, but a portion of radish for €9.20 is very daring and the Romadur for €11.20 doesn't come from bad, apparently wealthy parents. Next time we'll try the Schäufele, it looked very tempting with a great crust and two Gniedla. I know that the country beer paradise is mainly intended to satisfy beer consumers, but I am not a good beer drinker and prefer wine. There is only one white wine, which unfortunately wasn't cold; you had to order ice cubes - a bit sacrilegiously. The wine is also served in small wine cups, like in Baden or similar. served, which is neither visually beautiful nor that tasty. A wine belongs in a wine glass, preferably a Roman glass. We have countless good winemakers in Franconia, so a second white wine would also be good. Riesling & Silvaner should be offered in every restaurant of this type. We will definitely come back and cycle along the well-developed Pillenreuther Straße from the old town to the south of Nuremberg, because there is no good beer garden in the city center. You can't drink the beer with the 'T'... Ahoy!

Has slowed down a lot. After 30 minutes the waitress finally came to take the order and after 50 minutes we had the snack plate. Bad service and little food for the money for the second time! We don't need it anymore. Too bad it used to be very good.

A nice beer garden just outside the center of Nuremberg. The service was quick, friendly and accommodating. As the name suggests, there were actually what felt like 20 types of beer, but unfortunately I can't judge the taste of them because I'm not a big beer drinker. In any case, the shandy was fine. The food tasted good, but wasn't exceptional. The rustic atmosphere suited the location. Only the toilets weren't great, but you had to be a little pain-free. In summary - quite nice.

The service didn't seem particularly structured either. The draft beer was very fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, the food has a lot of room for improvement. Schnitzel fatty and stringy, from the deep fryer. The cheese spaetzle with, among other things, dried fried onions from the plastic container. The Schäufele was good, however.

Always worth a stop, good food and a pleasant atmosphere

Typically Franconian rustic pub with a large, cozy beer garden under the big trees. Regional cuisine, constantly changing beers from Franconian microbreweries. Attention: You won't find Cola or fries on the menu😋 but there are excellent Schäufele, roasts and bratwurst as well as various cold plates. All of this at family-friendly prices.

Staff were very friendly, food was quick and good, due to the full beer garden you have to expect short waiting times when ordering, reservations required, unfortunately there are only a few parking spaces on site because of the residential area, so use public transport.

Service was very poor. Waited about 20 minutes for the beer (food even came beforehand). We all (6 men) left the beer alone; it was undrinkable. Very strong iron note, stale, food was ok. Paying then didn't work at all.

Very poorly restricted in the Steinkrug, almost under half of the calibration mark and the same with 4 half and then the same thing again with the 2nd order, the taste of the food wasn't particularly good either. We won't be coming here again.

Ambience good Franconian staff friendly But people, the potato salad was subpar in a Franconian inn and no one wants to have something like that out of the bucket. There are also options in delicious. If it's a finished product then it works better. The beer garden actually deserves it.

We went to the EM public viewing in the Landbierparadies. We had reserved and asked again whether we could get a seat with a view of the screen, which we were assured of. Once there we were directed to the remaining benches with very poor visibility. In addition, the umbrella was closed after a short time, which made the already “suboptimal” visibility even worse, as can be seen in the photo. Our question about opening the umbrella again resulted in a short discussion among the employees but was then ignored. Unfortunately, the waiters were also quite unfriendly and mixed up/improved the prices of our drinks several times. So the promotional beer suddenly cost more than the sign in front of the beer garden. When asked, this was once again handled in a passive aggressive manner. The request for another order was ignored again, so we wanted to pay. What surprise: was ignored again. After a while a waitress finally came and said she had to finally collect the money. Overall experience was rather poor. Plus: The Magger (boss?) at the entrance is really unnecessarily unfriendly and bold. If you're hoping for a cozy get-together in a beer garden, you're unfortunately in the wrong place here.
