The Landbierparadies (Country Beer Paradise) on Sterzinger Straße is a very cozy inn. The typical ambiance of a Franconian inn defines the taproom and dining rooms. Outside, there's a very nice beer garden. A special feature is the wide selection of different Franconian beers. The menu also offers something for everyone.

Many delicious and varied beers, food okay, staff very, very helpful but hopelessly overwhelmed by the number of guests due to insufficient staffing. Nevertheless, thank you very much!

The ambiance, beer selection, and quality are highly recommended. The food is good Franconian style and mainly specializes in snacks. The beer garden is certainly pleasant in the summer. Reservations are recommended.

I went to Landbierparadies for dinner with my family on Saturday evening. I have to say, the atmosphere is wonderful. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and even though the restaurant was packed, we hardly had to wait for either our drinks or our food. Kudos to the friendly gentleman in the shirt who was clearly managing everything and remained so friendly despite the hustle and bustle. So, for anyone who enjoys beer and good Franconian cuisine, I highly recommend Landbierparadies!

All in all, a rustic beer hall. With beer tastings and other events, they're trying to be modern. Why not? A round of five different beers, 0.1 liters each, helps you find your favorite before you start emptying the stoneware mugs. My pork shoulder was basically very tasty, but the sauce was borderline too salty. It wasn't necessary; I would have easily ordered more beer anyway. Conclusion: worth a visit.

In short… The food was okay, although the schnitzel was quite sinewy. The atmosphere is really nice, I must say. I think the beer garden is really lovely in the summer. Service… well, the food arrived after about 40 minutes. The drinks were still missing by then. The service was completely overwhelmed. More staff would definitely be a good idea.

We had our alumni reunion here again on Friday. Special praise goes to the young waitress who took our orders; he couldn't have been more friendly. The colleague who was helping us could still improve a bit. 😉. The food lived up to expectations for a Franconian beer garden. See you next time.

So-so, being served Schäuferle with the wrong sauce, namely Sauerbraten sauce, because the Schäuferle sauce was out, that's not acceptable at all.....often very loud, as it's busy.

Delicious food – a generous snack platter – and a beautiful location. Unfortunately, there were a few drawbacks in the organization (waiters spent the entire evening asking where in the room which drinks or food belonged; I would have ordered more drinks if possible). The chairs and benches had become hard over time – some cushions would have helped.

Classic Franconian cuisine, large portions, reasonable prices, super friendly staff, and a strong selection of beers and spirits. What more could you want?

You really have to know where to go, because the Landbierparadies beer garden is certainly not easy to find or centrally located. And that's a good thing, because it's a real gem, a cozy, feel-good spot, far from the usual hustle and bustle of the city. The beer selection is plentiful and excellent, the menu offers local, hearty, and delicious dishes, and, last but not least, the prices are surprisingly reasonable and fair. There's a selection of draft beers as well as a good selection of local bottled beers. The service is friendly, courteous, and engaging. This is how you experience Franconian hospitality and beer garden culture.

A snack platter with old, dry farmhouse bread. A shame! The sausage and cheese, on the other hand, were very tasty. The price of 14.50 was about €3 too high.

Three evenings of excellent dinners, incredibly delicious local beer. We highly recommend making at least one, or even several, visits to the local beer paradise on every visit to Nuremberg. The rustic ambiance invites you to linger, and the staff ensures that no one goes home thirsty or hungry. We'll definitely be back 🤩 .

Good selection of local (Franconian) brews on tap or in bottles, plus typical delicacies that Franconians enjoy with their beer – some hearty, some spicy (fresh radish or crab...). Very friendly and prompt service, and when it's hot, there's always a shady spot under beautiful old trees. Very pleasant prices and selection. Disadvantage: Access only via stairs...

The Landbierparadies on Sterzinger Straße is a must-visit for any Nuremberg visit! The food is hearty, delicious, and pairs perfectly with the beer – whether bratwurst, Schäuferl (a kind of pork shoulder), or a snack, there's something for everyone here. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy, typically Franconian, and the staff is super friendly and on the ball. I visited Landbierparadies for the first time on Sunday, and I'm beyond impressed. The service is super fast and incredibly friendly. The order and cleanliness are also commendable. The beer selection is also unbeatable. I'd love to come back and have a great time!

Today (Wednesday, August 3, 2025), I ordered a Scheuferla just before 4:30 p.m., and had to watch as guests who arrived an hour later were the first to receive one. Apparently, not every guest is treated equally. As a result, I will no longer be visiting Sterzinger Street. I always left good money and tips; you get better treatment on Vodan Street and Leipzig Street!

I always enjoy coming here! The food and drinks are excellent! The red-haired waitress is very attentive and friendly; I'll be happy to come back!

We had a great time there and were absolutely thrilled. The food was amazing... especially the Schäufele (pork shoulder) was truly delicious! The service was incredibly friendly and relaxed, making you feel right at home. If you're in the mood for good German food, it's worth a visit.

The roast pork sauce was very thick, more like ready-made sauce. It's inedible. It's a real shame.

This is one of Nuremberg's original, authentic beer gardens. A great selection of beers and food, and reasonable prices. You can even bring your own food. Plus, the friendly service is always prompt, even despite the crowds. A real recommendation. Many thanks to everyone who works there and takes on responsibility.

One of the 'classic' country beer paradises, iirc it was from the early 2000s. Great beers, delicious Franconian fare, and a very attractive beer garden. Fine schnapps. Connoisseurs sit near the bar... that's where the service comes by at least occasionally *cough*.

The food was simply amazing. The roast with dumplings for €9.90 was not only a real highlight in terms of taste, but also hard to beat in terms of price. Everything was fresh, homemade, and truly delicious. The house schnapps and beer were also very good. The beer garden is slightly elevated and completely hidden from view from the outside; you'd never guess what a great place it is. A really cool location with a great atmosphere. A real insider tip that we'd happily recommend.

The shoulder of pork was bone dry - from the day before? Beer 1/3 - 1/3 air Beer 2/3 - 1/3 air and a complaint Beer 3/3 - politely asked to fill it up - tin can taste with a mossy aftertaste. This was my first visit, but I wouldn't really recommend it. It's a shame, as the beer garden has a lot of potential. The service was relatively cooperative and took the complaints into account. I'm in Franconia - eat here again? No thanks!

I was at a restaurant today and would have liked to order a children's schnitzel – not because I wanted to save money, but because I simply didn't want a huge plate. Unfortunately, my order was rejected on the grounds that the dish was "only for children." I honestly find this incomprehensible and unfriendly to customers. Not every adult wants or can eat large portions – whether for health reasons, a lack of appetite, or simply because they want dessert later. Besides, if I'm willing to pay full price or don't expect a discount, it should be possible to get a smaller portion. Instead, you're practically forced to order a large (and more expensive) dish that you might not even be able to finish. This isn't sustainable and encourages food waste. I think a bit more flexibility and customer focus would be appropriate, especially since it's perfectly normal in many other restaurants to offer smaller portions upon request. It's a shame, because otherwise the visit was pleasant, but this seriously tarnished the overall impression.

Disappointing – “Large Salad” is a bad joke The term “large salad” on the menu urgently needs to be reconsidered – either remove the “large” part or halve the price of €14.90. Anything else seems like eyewash. The only great thing about this dish was the slice of bread next to it. While the salad tasted okay, the portion size bears no relation to the advertised size. When you read “large salad,” you expect a filling portion – not a side dish with some decorative greenery.

Nice beer garden, friendly service, but the potato salad is unfortunately from a bucket. Baked Camembert is my favorite. A variety of beers on tap. I like it.

Das Ambiente ist ok. Das Personal völlig überfordert. Die Bierauswahl ist gut. Aber das Essen ist eine Frechheit: - Käsespätzle mit Sahne, dafür ohne Käse - Kartoffelsalat aus der Metro - TK Schnitzel Die Portionen waren winzig, obwohl wir alle die großen bestellt hatten. Keiner ist satt geworden. Schade, aber da kann man leider nicht zum Essen hin gehen.

We arrived for dinner and were seated at a table. During our meal, the owner approached us and addressed us in a very unfriendly manner. He claimed the table was reserved, even though there was no reservation sign on the table. He ordered us to move to another table immediately. We found this behavior very unpleasant and disrespectful, especially since it wasn't our fault.

I haven't eaten this well in a long time. You can sit outside comfortably here. The food was delicious. The staff, I think all men, are diverse, but you can tell they enjoy their work...we'll be happy to come back.

No! The waitress promised to dry our wet seat, but she didn't. The beer (Kellerbier on tap) was warm. The service is abysmal, quite honestly. I've rarely experienced anything like it. We definitely didn't feel welcome in this otherwise lovely beer garden! Unbelievable.

I've been going to Landbier for years and I have to say that the service is getting worse and worse. You feel like an outsider as a guest. You sit there for 10 minutes and the "server" walks past you four times without asking. When I asked after about 14 minutes if it was possible to order, my order was actually taken. Unbelievable! After the glass is empty and you turn it sideways as usual, the supposed "server" didn't care for a full 20 minutes. We then paid, saying that we would have liked another drink. Still a nice beer garden with terrible service!!!!

Cozy inn with a beautiful, green, shady guest garden. It's easy to find and get to. The selection of food is just right and there are lots of beers to try. I had a pancake soup that wasn't seasoned enough for my taste, the main course was roast pork with an extra side of sauerkraut, which was very good, and as a sweet finish I had the apple strudel with vanilla sauce, which I can recommend. If you are nearby, feel free to pay a visit.

We waited for over 30 minutes without being approached by any member of the staff. Despite arriving earlier, guests at nearby tables were served promptly, while we were completely ignored. Ultimately, we left without being acknowledged or assisted. This level of service is deeply disappointing and reflects poorly on the establishment.

Gestern war ich mit meinem Radel zum Landbierparadies unterwegs. Es war noch vor der Öffnungszeit um 17 Uhr. Ich fragte, ob ich mich im Biergarten schon hinsetzen kann, ohne bedient zu werden, damit ich nicht vor der Gartentür warten muss. Die Bedienungen saßen oder standen im Biergarten. Einer der Bedienungen sagte mir, das sei nicht möglich, ich solle doch mein Rad nehmen und noch ein paar Runden drehen. Das hab ich dann auch gemacht, und direkt in einen Biergarten gefahren, der es möglich macht, dass man sich setzen darf. Schade, sehr schade............
