You are a disgrace to Confucius!!!! Because he knew that if you're sick, you stay home so as not to infect your guests. The young woman who was working in the kitchen was sneezing and coughing and gave us some kind of cold. We called in sick today because we didn't want to infect our colleagues. Severe sore throat, headache, body aches, nausea, vomiting, fever—and we even paid for this! People, avoid this unhygienic place! The health department should shut it down!! Authenticity aside.

The owner is incredibly welcoming! The service is excellent, and the personality is wonderful! The food is delicious! The portions are huge! You'll be stuffed! It's loved by both Chinese and Europeans!!! Friends, don't hesitate, it's the taste of home! Delicious and authentic, just go for it!!!

Hairy crabs, crayfish, roast duck, steamed fish head with chopped chili peppers, and mutton hot pot—they have it all! It'll transport you back home in an instant, bringing back the taste of home!!! The owner is warm and friendly, and the service is incredibly attentive! You'll love this restaurant again and again!!!

We weren't impressed with the quality of the food or the ambiance. We also found it rather expensive for what it was. I ordered fried tofu and was charged the full 15.50, which would have been the price for tofu with meat and rice. My request for a price adjustment was ignored. There were also loud conversations in Chinese (arguments??) in the restaurant. First and last time...

The Confucius Restaurant in Düsseldorf is truly an insider tip! 🍜 A must for all Düsseldorfers who love authentic Chinese cuisine. Even the authentic Chinese menu with pictures makes it easy to see what you're ordering – and everything tastes simply delicious! The food is freshly prepared (so it's not a fast-food joint), the service is super friendly, and the value for money is absolutely spot on. 👌 The only downside: the parking situation – you need a bit of luck to find a spot on the side of the road. But that certainly won't stop us from coming back soon! 😋

We went to the Confucius Restaurant for the first time with friends on a Saturday evening and had a wonderful evening. The Chinese cuisine here is very authentic – it's no coincidence that many Asians also eat there. The food was really very good, everyone was full, and the price/performance ratio was absolutely perfect. 👍 Convenient: We were able to park right on a side street. The atmosphere was pleasant and not too noisy, so we could have a good conversation. The service was good, and special requests were accommodated. What's also particularly nice is the large selection of dishes that you won't find in many other restaurants – perfect if you want to try something new. Overall, a successful evening – we'd love to come back!

Attentive and friendly service Large selection of dishes on the menu, freshly prepared, no buffet, about half the dishes are "just like home." Vegetarian dishes are also available, but not the main focus. Many Chinese guests cite "authentic cuisine" of, in my opinion, excellent quality. The ambiance is a bit dark with lots of wood, but hey, we were here for the great food 😃

We've ordered from there three times now and had our food delivered. The first time, the food was okay. The second time, the chicken was completely oversalted, making it inedible. This time, I had breaded chicken with sweet and sour sauce and rice. What I received was beyond disappointing. No vegetables, and the breaded chicken was oversalted again. There was far too little sauce for the amount of rice, and it didn't taste good at all. Aside from the food, the man who delivered the food was also extremely unfriendly. You have to take the food out of the box individually (!) because it's not delivered together in a bag. This means you might even burn your fingers. They say all good things come in threes, but in this case, we can't confirm that. We won't be ordering from there again.

Excellent chinese restaurant. Not a buffet but rather a la carte. Order food the Chinese way: many plates in the middle and pick up from this and that. Some are spicy but never to spicy. Absolutely delicious meat, noodles and vegetables, and not to salty. The service is good fast and friendly. They even gave us free watermelon at the end for better digestion. A real delight. My number 1 chinese in Düsseldorf area, and I have tried dozens.

We've visited this restaurant several times and can only recommend it. The dishes we've tried so far have always tasted excellent. The staff is extremely friendly and always attentive. We particularly like the duck – wonderfully juicy and extremely tasty! The lunch menu always includes a small appetizer, be it soup or spring rolls, which we enjoy.

Great food, awesome service. It's deffinetly more of "authentic" Chinese dishes. But it is a must-eat, especially if you haven't tried Chinese before! There are hundreds of options, all I bet are very tasty. While they don't speak English well, (to be expected, it's germany) they still provided excelent service to us dispite the language barrier! Would eat here again.

I once ordered fried rice with chicken, which was very good and had a typical Chinese flavor. The service was good; you could speak to the staff in both German and English. It was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it. You can eat some of the same dishes at least twice. I therefore give the food 5 stars, the service another 5 stars, and the ambience 4 stars. That's a total of 5 stars for me.

I saw this Chinese restaurant based on Google reviews and made a reservation for dinner over the phone just to be safe. In fact, there are many restaurants and no reservation is required. Looking at the menu, I thought it was Northeastern cuisine. After arriving at the restaurant, I met a regular customer (Northeast Sister) and found out that this restaurant is Hunan cuisine. I ordered spicy chicken on her recommendation (personally I thought the sauce was a bit too much) and we ordered it ourselves: Guobao Pork (the meat slices are thicker, but it does not affect the taste and the quantity is sufficient); Dry pot fat intestine (uses large intestine, it is a common taste, like it 👍🏼); Beer duck (the beer tastes very good👍🏼, the duck meat has been cooked for a long time, but the overall taste is still good); Homemade tofu (surprisingly, there is pork belly in it🥹, delicious😋); Oily noodles (full of flavor) The proprietress is straightforward, the food is generous, and the food is served quickly. I will come again next time I come to Dusseldorf.

One of the best Chinese restaurants with authentic flavor. There are dishes such as pork blood and tripe fondue, or simply silken tofu with 100-year-old egg. It's traditional cuisine, far from the endless spring rolls. Even a simple sweet and sour pork is so crispy and tender. It's generous, it's calm, no hubbub. It's clean in the room. It's fresh, no food with a suspicious smell. We loved it. I was happy to have introduced a dish that was so rare in restaurants, and that she enjoyed it. The prices are very reasonable, the hearty dish is around 16 euros, with unlimited rice, only the water is expensive compared to French restaurants, but that is the normal price in Germany 7 euros per bottle of 0.75l.

I have ordered from Confucius many times and have always been satisfied. Very tasty food, and an unusually good selection of vegetarian dishes with meat substitutes. I really appreciate this and is one of the reasons I like to order from Confucius. The supplier is always very friendly, and even if it takes a long time, it is still within reason and you will be informed if it takes a really long time. My conclusion, always happy.

Anything but a culinary highlight. Tasteless food in an impossible atmosphere. Very loud, employees overwhelmed (the food came differently for two people), rice was missing - only after reminding them several times did the rice finally arrive. I didn't even get a detailed invoice when I paid. The first and last time, at home to the toilet, that was it.

So delicious! Every dish is exquisite, the fish, meat and crab🦀️ are very fresh! Highly recommend everyone to come and eat!

Heute das erste Mal bei Konfuzius aufgrund der guten Rezensionen bestellt, aber leider auch das letzte Mal. Das Essen war zum Teil geschmacklos, gar keine Gewürze rausgeschmeckt, alles hat mehr nach Fett und Frittiertem geschmeckt und gerochen. Die Frühlingsrollen und Süß- Sauer Soße zum Hähnchen haben nach Convenience-Essen geschmeckt. Die Woknudeln mit Shrimps haben mehr nach Bratenfett geschmeckt. Und dafür fast 40 Euro ausgegeben. Sehr schade und ärgerlich. Lieferung dauerte knapp 60 Minuten, was aber auch bei der Online- Bestellung angezeigt wurde. Das war ok. Der Lieferant war auch freundlich. Fazit: Nicht nochmal!

Kleiner Raum mit wenigen Tischen. Nach hinten wird es dann gemütlicher mit weißen eingedeckten Tischen. Um die Theke rum ist es sehr unordentlich. Leider ist auch bei 3 Mittagsmenüs nur noch 2 Vorspeisen erhältlich und man erhält einen Ersatz

Sehr leckeres Essen und die weltbeste Mangosoße, die wir je gegessen haben. Wir sind durch Zufall in dem Restaurant gelandet und würden jederzeit wieder dort essen. Auf der Speisekarte stehen viele tolle Gerichte, die man sonst bei den meisten chinesischen Restaurants nicht findet.

Wir waren schon in so manchem Chinarestaurant. Dieses Lokal war immer das Beste. Zwischenzeitl. gab es andere Inhaber, die waren nicht unsers. Jetzt sind wieder die " Alten" da, gottseidank. Außerdem, ua.- wer eine richtig gute Frühlingsrolle essen will, sollte dies hier machen. TOP Restaurant!

Wir sind immer wieder begeistert von Konfuzius. Toll fand ich heute, dass das Essen nicht in einer extra Tüte war, sondern wir es uns aus der Transportbox rausnehmen konnten. Es war wie immer lecker und reichlich. Vielen Dank!

Bzgl. Qualität des Essens können wir leider nach bald 1,5h immernoch nichts sagen. Telefonisch war das Geschäft lange nicht erreichbar, dann endlich Glück gehabt und die „freundliche“ Auskunft erhalten für die Lieferzeitenauskunft via der Restaurant-eigenen (!) App sei man ja nicht zuständig. Insgesamt sehr unerfreulich.

Wir hatten hier Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Wir waren zur vereinbarten Zeit da und das Essen hat schon auf uns gewartet. Das Essen war wirklich lecker und heiß. Und die Portionen waren reichlich. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier.

Der 1 Stern, weil man nicht mit NULL Sternen bewerten kann. Wir wollten vor ein paar Tagen zu Mittag essen. Nach kurzem Warten kam jemand und fragte, was wir wollen. "Essen" war unsere Antwort. "Wenn Sie ca. 45 Minuten warten wollen. wir haben gerade viel zu tun." kam eine lustlose Antwort. Anmerkung: Im Restaurant war 1 Tisch mit 4-5 Personen besetzt. Es gibt andere Restaurants in denen ich mein Geld lassen kann. Hier niemals.

Haben über eine Stunde auf unser Essen gewartet, obwohl das Restaurant nicht voll war. Andere Tische, die erst später bestellt hatten, wurden vorrangig bedient. Bedienung sprach kaum Deutsch (deswegen wurde ein falsches Gericht serviert). Es wurde nicht nachgefragt bzgl weiterer Getränke. Atmosphäre nicht gut, neben uns saß eine lautstarke chinesische Männerrunde. Essen war gut. War aber auch das Einzige, was gut war. Wir können das Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen und kommen auch nicht nochmal wieder. Schade.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Super freundlich am Telefon, super schnelle Lieferung. Hatten Rindfleisch mit Gemüse und Hähnchen nach szechuan Art und gebackene Bananen. Zum Neujahr,gab es noch Frühlingsrollen gratis dazu. Es war alles sehr lecker und wir werden jetzt öfter hier bestellen!
