It was so so so delicious! Thank you for this great evening. We had the thousand year egg and two soups. The wontons were heavenly and the soups were well seasoned. I was quite amused that the waitress checked with me, out of best intention, if I knew how spicy the chicken offal noodle soup usually is. Her fear was that I might find it unbearable. I assured her that I knew what I was getting into. lol. Been here three times, once to meet a new acquaintance and twice alone. This cozy joint is great for solo diners or pairs. Though seating for a group of four or six can be managed, too. EC card accepted.

Overall, I’d give it 4 and a half points. The taste is pretty good, the spiciness is enough, and the portion of the crispy pork I ordered is also quite generous.

The most delicious Chinese food I have ever eaten. The soups are worth their price. 23€ for a soup seems steep - but it is full of meat and vegetables. A very large portion. The starters are super delicious. We'll definitely be back. Open kitchen where hygiene is taken very seriously. But unfortunately my wife's main course was brought 15-20 minutes before mine. We wanted to eat together.

Super tasty and authentic food. The soups tasted delicious and, given the size and amount of good, tender meat, the prices were absolutely justified. Unfortunately, the dishes were served too far apart (at least 15 minutes) so that you couldn't eat together. Despite this, this is probably the best Asian I have personally tested and a clear recommendation. (Unfortunately no toilet)

A simple little restaurant. Chinese kitchen is on it and is also in there. And all this authentically with the special craft of noodles. These are particularly delicious here. But the original sharpness is definitely fire. Really recommended if you really want to eat spicy food. But it's not a "I'll burn my mouth and won't taste any spiciness anymore" but exactly the kind of spiciness that feels healthy. The service staff was friendly and definitely offered recommendations as I had one or two questions. In the end I had to pay 21 euros for water, a starter (mushrooms) and a main course. I was full and satisfied and finally found a restaurant where, if it says spicy, there is something in it.

My number one when it comes to authentic and good Chinese cuisine in Düsseldorf. The dishes are sometimes very spicy, so keep that in mind when ordering. If desired, it can also be made with less spiciness (spicy here means really hot 🌶️🌶️🌶️). Very friendly service, but the shop is very small. But reservations are possible. All in all, an absolute recommendation.

An absolutely authentic restaurant. Lots of Asian customers and absolutely aromatic cuisine. You should really reduce the level of spiciness a bit - just don't fill your mouth with too much. The ambience is special - more of a snack bar than a cozy restaurant - but it's certainly more like street food than star gastro.

Food is 5 🌟 . It is very authentic and therefore very spicy 🌶️. I worked up a sweat eating a 3 chilli dish. 🥵 Ambience is on the level of eating in and out quickly. It doesn't invite you to linger, nor is it designed for that. Space for a maximum of 16 people. Here you eat shoulder to shoulder. You can hear conversations left and right. Service is friendly. If you want to eat authentically, come here, but bring yoghurt and your taste buds will thank you xD. Recommended: bon bom chicken as a starter. 🥣

The location is a bit out of the way and the taste is very good, but one thing I want to complain about is that you need to pay a minimum of 20 euros to pay by card, which is very embarrassing for people who don't bring cash. I can't spend that much on my own. In order to make up 20 euros, even if I have already ordered a drink, I can only get one more drink before I can pay. In Chinese stores, you always need a certain amount before you can swipe your card. It's really painful for someone like me who doesn't like to carry cash. It is true that customers paying cash can reduce some "taxes" in the store, but it is really full of malice from customers. I don't like it very much. In short, I will not come again.

Endlich mal originale Schärfe 😊 für Kinder nur bedingt geeignet, aber es gibt auch Essen, das nicht scharf ist und man wird bei der Bestellung darauf hingewiesen, welchen Schärfegrad die gewählte Mahlzeit hat. Eigentlich ein mega Laden, tolles Essen und super authentisch. Beim ersten Mal hatte man schon keinen Tisch für uns als wir telefonisch reservieren wollten, bei Ankunft (5 min später) gab es drei freie Tische & es war kein Problem! Heute packt man noch Uber eats Tüten, im halb gefüllten Laden, wo auch noch gegessen wurde - jedoch sei die Küche schon zu. Sehr schade Freunde!

Sehr unscheinbar von außen und in der Einrichtung. Das Essen ist sehr gut und authentisch. Schärfegrade sind wählbar. Nudel sind selbstgemacht. Ich empfehle alles mit Nudeln, alle Suppen (v.a. die Wantansuppe) und unbedingt die frittierten Sardinen.

A great place for some Chinese noodles and cuisines. We were in a hurry and ordered three bowls of noodles, the beef was a bit chewy and could’ve been more tender, the spicy flavor was the original Chinese type. I also suggested the cold dish koushui chicken, the chicken strips absorbed the juice and tasted well. Hope next time we’ll get more time and order some wok dishes. Great thanks for saving us from being hungry.

If you’re craving spicy Chinese food and love noodles, this is the place for you. As someone who has been to Chong Qing in China, I have to say this gem of a restaurant hits the spot and was a pleasant surprise to find in Germany. Don’t expect a fancy interior; however, the service is good, food is excellent, and the venue is dog friendly. With three options of noodles (i think they are fresh) , the option to choose your spice level, and an array of classic Sichuan dishes, this place has something for everyone. Would definitely come back.

i mentioned to a chinese friend living in düsseldorf that i was craving spicy noodles. she highly recommended this place. i went to this branch in particular because the other one was closed when i visited on a sunday. i had the sichuan cold noodles and two sides, the tofu skin and potato. the noodles were fantastic. nice and chewy. the sides were all zesty and had great texture and flavour. but i wish they could all be spicier. there was some chili sauce on the condiment bar, but it was more salty than spicy. service was fast. staff was friendly. some of the staff spoke german, mandarin and english. however, a few caveats: card payments are for 20€ over, and there's no toilet for customers. i also wish they had vegan options for the noodle soups. otherwise, still worth the visit.

Das authentischste chinesische Restaurant, das ich in Düsseldorf kenne. Vom Ambiente eher Imbiss, Essen aber immer hochwertig, frisch und sagenhaft lecker. Besondere Empfehlung sind die vielen keinen Vorspeisen. Un Tipp: Original Mala Schärfe nehmen. Scharf aber auszuhalten, aber dann ist es richtig lecker.

Authentische chinesische Küche. Man sollte hier aber nicht erwarten, ein WC vorzufinden, am besten seine Geschäfte Zuhause vorher zu verrichten. Das Essen hingegen hat bisher immer überzeugt.

Wir haben über Uber eats bestellt. Bis heute wussten wir nicht, dass es matschiges Fleisch gibt. Kein bisschen cross, schmeckte unangenehm. Wir lieben die chinesische Küche, aber diese absolut nicht.

Wir haben spontan den Dong Wu Imbiss besucht und waren froh, dass wir einen Platz für vier Personen gefunden haben. Der Laden ist zwar ziemlich klein und hat keine Kunden-Toilette, was ihn eher zu einem Ort macht, an dem man schnell essen und weiterziehen kann. Wir haben eine Auswahl an Gerichten bestellt, darunter die kalten Sichuan-Nudeln, den Gurkensalat, den Tofusalat, die Dan Dan Nudeln, die kalten Sichuan-Jelly-Hühnerfüße und Hui Guo Ruo. Ich empfehle, alle Gerichte mild scharf zu bestellen, denn das ist schon ziemlich scharf. Die Getränke konnte man sich selbst aus dem Kühlschrank entnehmen. Insgesamt war ich zufrieden mit unserem Besuch im Dong Wu chinese kitchen. Die Speisen waren authentisch und geschmackvoll, wenn auch scharf, und das schnelle Essen und wieder gehen ist so authentisch wie in Asien.

Sie mussen den Gurkensalat probieren, er ist ao lecker, nicht von dieser Welt. Soso delicious

The food are really good and I really like it.

If you're craving spicy Chinese food, Dongwu definitely hits the spot! Full of flavour and you can even choose your spice level for some of the dishes as well. The restaurant is small so please make a reservation if you're planning to visit. The photos don't do much justice so you'll just have to try it!

Die Hühnerfleisch riecht auf jeden Fall sehr sauer, nach verdorbenem Fleisch oder zu lange draußen gestellt. egal mit welchem Sauce in welchem Gericht schmeckt diese Hühnerfleisch sehr sauer. Nach dem Essen hatte ich Bauchschmerzen, und am zweiten Tag habe ich Durchfall bekommen. Das ist nach Verdacht auf Lebensmittelvergiftung. Die Schweinefleisch sind auch sehr trocken gekocht, schmeckt auf jeden Fall nicht wie wie das Gericht sein sollte.

Ein sehr schlichtes Lokal, wo hervorragend lecker gekocht wird.

不超过3分钟，菜就上来了。这家是卖预制菜的！烤鸭里面的配菜黏糊糊的，烤鸭很硬，嚼不动。Das ist kein Restaurant, sondern ein kleiner Imbiss. Man kann die gesamte Küche sehen, jedoch gibt es keinen Platz zum Waschen und Schneiden von Gemüse oder zur Vorbereitung von Speisen. Alle Gerichte sind vorgefertigt und werden nur noch gekocht. Es gibt keine Kunden-WC. Die Kunden müssen durch den schmutzigen Abstellraum gehen. Wenn ich den Abstellraum zuerst gesehen hätte, hätte ich dort niemals etwas bestellt.

Sehr authentische Küche! Sehr leckeres Essen und zwar nicht immer die typischen Standard asiatischen Gerichte. Ambiente war eher Imbiss feeling, aber typisch für den asiatischen Raum. Das Essen war zwar sehr scharf aber dennoch sehr lecker!

店面很小，从外面路过完全不会留意的那种，但店里给人惊喜满满，无论从菜品到服务，性价比都很高，超出好多比之价格贵很多的餐厅。服务既贴心又有爱心，朋友带了大型犬也被店员照顾的很好。味道更是地道的没得说，点了几道川菜口味都很正宗，也能找到小朋友喜欢吃的不辣或者微辣的菜。总之很满意。

Kleiner, unscheinbarer Laden direkt an der Haltestelle "Sternstraße". Hier bekommt man m. E. authentische, chinesische Küche serviert. Und glaubt mir: Wenn auf der Speisekarte steht, dass das Gericht scharf ist, dann ist es auch wirklich scharf. Die höfliche und aufmerksame Bedienung fragte extra nochmal nach, wie scharf es denn werden darf. Ich gönnte mir Mapo Doufu und obwohl ich "normal" scharf bestellte, hatte das Essen noch ordentlich Wums und war richtig lecker.

Es war sehr sehr lecker! Große Auswahl an verschiedene Gerichte.

Hier Mittagessen gegessen. War sehr lecker und frisch und das "nicht zu scharf" wurde für unseren Geschmack auf den Punkt gut umgesetzt. Waren wir nicht das letzte Mal.

Kind of like a snackbar type of place but with great food! The picture with 2 plates are the cold Sichuan jelly noodles and the sardines. The noodles were aspicy delight. The sardines delicious. The main dish with chicken was a bit middle of the road but we got it for our kid, so that's why. The other dish are the eggplants which were also not an acquired taste but still real good. And the place is a cheap option too. Think the noodles were like 9 euro.

Localino proprio tipico, di quelli frequentati da cinesi che ricordano la madrepatria. Arredo molto scarno ed essenziale con qualche tavolo e gli sgabelli di legno. Si mangia molto bene ed i piatti sono abbondanti. Buoni i prezzi.

Klein und fein ohne schick schnack 😄 Da recht viele Gerichte im Menü mit scharf gekennzeichnet sind, nicht verzagen und fragen "geht es auch nicht so scharf?". Der Küchenchef macht es meist möglich. Dennoch versuchen so nah wie möglich am original zu bleiben (könnte sonst "zu blass" schmecken) 😋.
