The food was so bad. I was completely disappointed. The worst Chinese food in Düsseldorf. The ingredients were completely stale. The shrimp were smelly and sour.

The food was good, although expensive by Düsseldorf standards. I didn't have the Peking duck menu, just a couple of smaller dim sums. They were freshly prepared. I dropped in without a reservation and was squeezed into a slot because my visit was running at the same time as the stopwatch. Unfortunately, I didn't find the hosts very friendly. Every additional order felt like I was bothering them. The food at the front of the restaurant is cooked using an open wok. In theory, the show and craftsmanship are a good thing, but it doesn't really benefit the place. Furthermore, the layout and furnishings were rather functional/old-fashioned. Sure, it's not a super fancy downtown shop, but it wasn't really a place where you feel at home. The cooking was very authentic, which is also reflected in the rest of the guests (real Chinese people). You should go and see for yourself and don't forget to make a reservation, as they have no shortage of customers.

Wonderfully authentic cuisine. In addition to the main courses, the dim sum appetizers are especially recommended. Thanks to the wide selection, you can eat yourself completely full and happy with these delicious little bites alone.

The perfect place to enjoy a variety of delicious dim sum. The restaurant impresses with its wide selection of dim sum dishes. All the dishes we tried were extremely tasty. The staff is friendly, but you should be patient when serving and ordering. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Anyone who has eaten dim sum in China knows the difference between homemade and thawed. 肠粉 were made with rice paper, the radish cake had too much rice flour and due to the use of ham, it was very salty. The baozi, shaomai and jiaozi were not homemade. Apparently it was just us and we had a bad day. Considering we had to book a table, the food was very disappointing.

⭐️The food here distinguishes themselves by a balance of original flavours accentuated by just the right touch of seasoning. In the case of steamed tripes, the zest of ginger extract gives the bouncy texture a refreshing kick. The wonton soup looks plain, but the stock has a subtle richness that is not (according to my taste buds) created through the shortcut of adding artificial chemicals, rather, it is most likely house made stock. ⭐️Acoustics: While the music is not exactly irritatingly loud, I would’ve much preferred an even lower volume, to fit the overall gentle vibe of the cozy space. ⭐️Artwork: I loved the monochromatic ink brush painting depicting a street vendor of roasted ducks. It lays out the key steps in preparing this popular delicacy and reminds me of the many bustling open air markets in Asia. The hairstyle of the characters point to a bygone era (Qing Dynasty, 1644-1912), but the beauty of quality food prepared with care is with us today and especially at this restaurant. ⭐️As usual, I chatted a little with the chefs and gave compliments on their dedication to a well-run kitchen. ⭐️Last but not least, the bathroom is spotless clean.

I ate dim sum here. It didn't taste bad, but I was disappointed, especially since I went here based on a recommendation from Bernd Zehner. In my opinion, the individual dishes simply lacked taste. We had Siu Mai, Fung Zao (Chicken Feet), Cheong Fan among others. Only the Lo Bak Go were good. And I've eaten a lot of dim sum, including in Hong Kong and Guangzhou. Unfortunately it wasn't authentic for me, I was really missing a lot.

Small restaurant, delicious dim sum, especially the radish rice cake is highly recommended. The service is extremely friendly, the ambience does not reflect the quality of the food. Next time we'll have the Peking duck, which looked excellent on other tables.

Last week we had a short visit to Düsseldorf and visited the Dim Sum Gourmet restaurant. Inconspicuous facade from the outside, but the restaurant serves the best Chinese-Malaysian cuisine! What gourmets! Dim sum at its finest, prices very fair and everything tasted delicious! ☺ It's fantastic what the kitchen serves here! Excellent and greetings from Hamburg, we'll be back!

I have been to China many times and know the food there very well. Unfortunately, the dishes, especially the dim sum, were not tasty. It tastes much better in the junk. The main courses were also ok. The store itself is very small and is located in a district 2 km from the center. I also rounded up the waitress from 91 euros to 100! Not even a thank you. Not twice for me! Thanks

It's difficult to find dim sum/Cantonese style restaurants in Germany in general as the Chinese places here seem to be mostly Sichuan style, so I was glad to find this place. I can especially recommend the fried turnip cake. Make sure you go there on an empty stomach!

Unfortunately I can't understand the good reviews. The food is OK but nothing special. I can't judge whether it's automatic, but it tasted ok. Unfortunately the service was really subpar. The good woman didn't give our group a single smile and just worked us off. She never came to the table to ask if we wanted something more to drink etc. - on the contrary. We always had to call her and once a few of us couldn't order our drinks because she left without saying a word after the first half of the orders. It was also clearly visible that we were celebrating a birthday, which went completely uncommented by the restaurant. So I'm definitely not going here anymore. Simply because there are only 2 or three (out of about 20) vegetarian dishes. Simply no longer up to date.

Unfortunately, card payments are being discontinued or completely abolished, which is not mentioned on the website, only upon request when you are already there or on a DIN A4 sheet. For me that's a reason not to go because I pay for a lot of things by card and every supermarket or other store will offer it in 2024. Service could be improved: If there are several people, the food doesn't come at the same time, but some people get something and others at the table only get it 10 minutes later. Food ok but nothing special.

By far the best dim sum in Düsseldorf!

There were two of us and we chose the restaurant because of the good reviews. The food was ok, but the taste of the food didn't completely convince us. The duck was quite dry and the wontons in the noodle soup were nothing special in terms of taste.

If you want to eat Asian food, this is the perfect place for you. Dim sums and Peking duck (without pre-ordering!) are on point and very tasty. Additionally and because of this, as far as I can tell, everything is freshly prepared in-house. Admittedly, the service and ambience are more Asian, but I found that to be pleasant and authentic. Definitely a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to eat well

Simply super delicious, down-to-earth Chinese food

Unfortunately I don't recommend it. Maybe it was a series of unfortunate circumstances but that doesn't make it any better. It was well attended and at the beginning there was only one lady in service. Our order was taken 30 minutes after arrival and it took a while for the drinks to arrive. We waited almost an hour for the food, so there was no time left to eat it due to an event. We had planned two hours, unfortunately not enough. The food had to be packed, no more than half of the plate ended up in the take-away container, and of course the price remained the same. All in all no communication from the service and a really expensive evening for nothing. It's a shame because it was highly praised everywhere.

Well, do you know that? If you don't want to get up to leave the restaurant; But you are actually full. Peking duck without pre-ordering - is that really a thing? Yes, in this little treasure chest. The best Peking duck I've ever eaten! They serve it with homemade rice pancakes. The duck is juicy and crispy and the ingredients are fresh. The dimsum was also good, but some things were just okay. The fried calamari was good as well as the shrimp dumplings. The place is pretty small and the service isn't the best, but it's fine considering the great food!

For me a culinary revelation after too many Chinese buffets and the otherwise normal standards. Very friendly service! Very tasty food! It is advisable to pre-order or reserve a table. After my arrival at 5:35 p.m became increasingly full after just half an hour. I will let myself be pampered here again.

An impeccable dim sum gourmet restaurant. You feel very comfortable, the owners are very friendly and the chef always conjures up excellent dishes. A small, inconspicuous shop that makes you feel like you're sitting in China. I recommend everyone to eat here once, it will be worth it. I can especially highly recommend the Peking duck.

Very familiar shop with friendly service, small and compact! The cuisine is good across the board, the traditional style duck is recommended. The only thing is mango, there are only a few or no parking spaces on the one-way street.

We love this Dumpling House. There are so many different variations on offer and they are all delicious. You just have to get involved with it. The ambience is very simple, but that's exactly what's typical; in the dumpling houses in Hong Kong, for example, it doesn't look any different. Dumplings are usually only available there (China) at lunchtime in simple, small food stalls

Here you can get authentic dim sum, just like in China. The restaurant may seem very simple by Düsseldorf standards and not very inviting for some. But you can often find exactly such restaurants in China. And that's exactly what makes it so charming for me. The two dishes I've had here so far have been very good and just as authentic. On my first (but certainly not last) visit I decided on two variants of dim sum: No.1: Steamed rice dough with shrimp and bamboo. No.9: Steamed yeast dough with pork filling. Highly recommended and ok for about 10 euros.

It tasted similar to the dim sum I've had before in Hong Kong and Guangdong Province in China. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very well maintained.

No recommendation! We ate several dim sums. Unfortunately the quality of meat and especially fish is very, very poor. The shrimp dishes are inedible. If you still want to try the restaurant, I advise you to eat the duck.

Dim sum here was well portioned and tasted quite good. I recommend the har gow (prawn crystal dumpling) and whole prawn on toast. The pork ribs were good too! Will be back to try the peking duck next time.

Einer meiner liebsten Dim Sum Restaurants in Düsseldorf. Ja, von Außen macht der Laden vielleicht den Anschein eines Schnellrestaurants, aber innen finde ich es immer sehr gemütlich. Dim Sum sind hier hervorragend, mein absoluter Favorit ist aber die Ente. Diese wird hier nämlich im Hauseigenen Hochofen selbst zubereitet und nicht, wie bei vielen anderen asiatischen Restaurants, halbfertig eingekauft. Am besten immer reservieren, da die geschätzt ~24 Plätze schnell mal voll sind.

The food was good but it took ages to arrive. Not sure why dim sum takes forever here? They have a limited selection, so everything could be in the steamer already. It seams the steam to order which takes forever. The duck was great and prices are reasonable. However I’m afraid I won’t go again, there are similar places in town where you get similar good food around 2h faster

Ich verstehe die ganz guten Bewertungen nicht. Das Essen hat so so so schlecht geschmeckt! Also wirklich widerlich! Nie wieder!

Erstmal hat es eine halbe Std gedauert bis überhaupt jemand gekommen ist, um nach Getränken zu fragen. Dann hat es nochmal 1 bis 1,5 Std gedauert bis das bestellte Essen gekommen ist. Zusätzlich zu den langen Wartezeiten wurden wir dann auch direkt nach dem Essen mit den Worten „ich brauche den Tisch! Bitte alle 4 nach vorne“ aufgrund von wartenden Gästen aus dem Restaurant geschmissen, obwohl mein heiß servierter Tee gerade erst gebracht wurde. Nach dem Bezahlen kam auch keine Entschuldigung oder „Auf Wiedersehen, schönen Abend“. Unser Beleg wurde uns schweigend in die Hand gedrückt, während wir schon halb aus dem Restaurant standen. Frechheit.. Zum Glück war das Essen zumindest lecker aber Service ist das A und O!
