I haven't eaten this well in ages!!!! My compliments to the entire kitchen team...it was absolutely delicious! The service was also outstanding. They magically conjured up even the most unspoken requests! P.S. The tomato fish soup is amazing! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!!!

I had a fantastic soup and an excellent meat dish, both prepared with great skill and care. The service was exceptional, the lady who assisted me was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. Her efficiency and warmth made the experience truly outstanding.

The two of us went to the Klosterküche restaurant for dinner and initially thought we were a bit early, arriving just before 6 p.m. – in fact, the restaurant was already quite full. The menu isn't huge, which I personally see as a good sign: you can immediately tell that they work with focus and quality. We opted for a three-course meal and the duck. The food arrived surprisingly quickly and was consistently Michelin-star quality. The idea of ​​rolling the dumplings fresh is particularly noteworthy – a small, unique touch that you rarely see. The starter was also superb: a delicately foamed pumpkin cappuccino soup with crispy prawns, perfectly balanced in flavor. Both the braised ox cheeks and the duck were incredibly tender, and every element on the plate was a culinary highlight. Overall, a truly impressive culinary experience that pleasantly surprised me. The Klosterküche is priced in the upper-middle range. The value for money is excellent. The service was also top-notch – friendly, attentive, and noticeably ambitious. My only criticism is the interior. It has a more classic country-house feel and therefore doesn't quite match the sophisticated cuisine. This is certainly due in part to our professional background in design and decor – but it doesn't detract from the excellent food in the slightest. Overall: an outstanding restaurant that I will remember for a long time. I have rarely eaten so well and will definitely be back.

The restaurant is great, the food is really good! The service is very nice and friendly. But I have a small suggestion. During our visit today, there were a few ladies at the next table who seemed to think they were the only ones there. I mean, laughter is healthy, but a slightly lower pitch would have been nice. Besides, I'm not interested in how these ladies meet their husbands. I would have appreciated it if the staff had perhaps made a small remark that other guests wanted to enjoy the food and the lovely atmosphere and also be able to hear each other's conversation. Nevertheless, we'd love to come back, hoping to enjoy everything properly next time. 😉

Wonderful! The food is delicious. The dishes are beautifully presented. The service is friendly and attentive. The kitchen is visible from the outside through glass at the bar. We came here for lunch completely spontaneously and without a reservation. I haven't had such a good meal in a long time. We had the braised ox cheeks and the beef schnitzel. Both were very tasty, absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and the ambiance was very appealing. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back here on our next visit to Bad Doberan.

Two of us went there for dinner one evening and had a really nice visit. The service was super friendly, we were served quickly, and the food came to the table promptly, exactly as you would expect. I had the Klosterbierschnitzel (beer schnitzel) made from sirloin steak, while my partner had the Doberaner Münster burger. Both were absolutely delicious! The taste was excellent and the presentation was modern. The menu is rather small, but that's exactly what makes it special; each dish seems well thought out and put together with purpose, rather than simply offering a random selection. Since the weather was still good, we sat outside. It was a bit busier and louder inside, but the outside was really pleasant. The value for money is definitely good, so I definitely recommend it!

A lovely restaurant and café in Bad Doberan Monastery. We each had a Münster Burger with a Coke. A very nice terrace and stylish ambiance. Unfortunately, it's not wheelchair accessible. There's a ramp leading to the terrace, but it's very steep. So I crawled onto it with some remaining mobility 😉. The restrooms were very clean and stylishly furnished. Excellent value for money. I'd happily go back again 😊

I'm absolutely thrilled. Service: Fast and reliable (and without having to write anything down 😍) In case of any food intolerances, alternatives were immediately offered. Ambiance: Comfortable seating, a play area for the kids, and a great atmosphere. Food: 10/10 - there was something for everyone, and every wish was fulfilled. We'd love to come back!

Absolutely worth every penny! Very, very good food, truly a dream. Not only is it beautifully presented (as we all know, food is a feast for the eyes), but the taste couldn't be better either! Every dish was not only of the highest quality, but also beautifully presented – you can immediately tell that the cooking here is done with passion and attention to detail. Even the small side dishes were finely balanced, and the accompanying beer rounded off the whole experience perfectly. You immediately feel at home here – great atmosphere, excellent team, top-notch cuisine. Wow! A beef schnitzel – that's really only possible with veal or pork. No matter, it was tender and delicious. The burger was divine, and the pork schnitzel was also outstanding. The price is "normal" for the area, but the quality is significantly higher.

The name "Klosterküche" (Kloster Kitchen) might suggest a rustic inn serving home-style cooking, but a glance at the menu reveals that the prices here are several notches higher. The food was nicely presented, as befits this price range. Nevertheless, the selection is rather limited. The shrimp skewer was coated in breadcrumbs, which isn't particularly appealing. The drink was forgotten and only brought to the table after a delay after ordering again. Overall, it was quite good, perhaps a bit overpriced: €13.90 for 6 shrimp (starter) and €4.70 for a Coke. The children's plates, on the other hand, are sufficient and reasonably priced.
