Can definitely be recommended. As a convinced meat eater, I tried the vegan oyster mushroom schnitzel and it was very tasty. The staff very friendly.

We wanted to eat and despite many places available, we were told no and we should leave. No possibility of communication in a language other than German. It wasn't even possible in English. It's a pity we didn't have the opportunity to try the dishes recommended to us.

After registering by phone, we encountered a very clean and nice atmosphere and very friendly and very accommodating employees. The service was first class, the food was prepared and presented by real masters of pot and pan! The “fish soup” is second to none, simply delicious!!! Everything was great, our friends and my husband. The three of them really enjoyed the steak. I ordered a salad as a starter, but the price was absolutely not right.

A real insider tip... as an alternative to the more expensive locations in Kühlungsborn, we took a spontaneous trip to Bad Doberan to the monastery kitchen. What a good idea... An attractive menu with a manageable number of dishes and a special design. Very tasty and cooked with creativity, tasted to the point and attractively presented. Plus good service and a nice atmosphere. It was worth it!

Food and service excellent 😊 But unfortunately, due to renovation work, the entrance door was open throughout and it extended into the dining room 😱

We were spontaneous walk-in customers and didn't know the monastery kitchen before. We were very excited. The service was very friendly and the cuisine was very good and fresh. For this slightly upscale cuisine, the price-performance ratio was also great. We'll definitely come back.

A very good recommendation if you're looking for something to eat for lunch or dinner. Friendly service, nice and clean atmosphere. The mountain cheese fries and the accompanying burger are delicious. Opinions differ as to whether the rum in the hot sea buckthorn should be charged extra, but all in all a very positive experience and a pleasant contrast to what you get in the tourist resorts on the coast.

How nice that the monastery kitchen is open again. We were there for lunch today. The service was extremely friendly and quick. The food was excellent, I haven't eaten something so tasty for a long time.

Was there today on the recommendation of my landlord (apartment). And I can't recommend this place to anyone. A saddle of veal steak was ordered, which looked like a cooked piece of meat and also tasted pretty bad. At first I thought it was something like a salad plate. There was no taste at all, except for the mushrooms there was nothing wrong with it. Then the place was full and before you send the guests to the competition, it's better to sit them outside in the cold. Wouldn't say anything if there had at least been gas heaters outside. Many guests who came left after a short time because it was too cold. Put it this way, here in Saarland this restaurant would have closed long ago

We have enjoyed being guests of the restaurant since the Klosterstube opened. But every year it became more difficult to dine there. This year we wanted to reserve a table. This year we were informed that there were only table times. Either from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. or from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sorry, we have canceled our table order. With all understanding, at our age we can't be told when we want to eat. Unfortunately, we will no longer visit the monastery kitchen. Especially since the lady on the phone was very unfriendly and no longer needed guests.

We are currently visiting the Baltic Sea and Google Maps suggested the restaurant to us based on the unbeatable advice. We didn't regret it, super nice service and the food is really tasty. I can only recommend the citizen, we would be happy to come back.

Closed for over a year, which wasn't on the internet

We ate in the monastery kitchen in March 2022. The year before we took food from the monastery kitchen and enjoyed it in the holiday apartment. The food was very tasty both times and was freshly prepared and well presented, which justifies the price of the dishes. We had reserved a table, which was good because the restaurant was very busy. The dishes we ordered came to our table quickly. The staff was very attentive and friendly. And our dog was also welcome. 😊 We'll be back, keep it up...

Absolutely great! Why there isn't a huge queue in front of it every day is a mystery to me. The monastery kitchen is absolute madness. We sat in the small but nice outdoor area, but the atmosphere inside is also very rustic and cozy. The service was very friendly. But the food is awesome. Something so delicious is really rare these days. This was definitely the highlight of our vacation! We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely top, friendly service, cozy atmosphere, prices still relatively cheap. The food was great, you rarely see homemade burger meat or home-cut fries these days. Noodles with shrimps also very tasty and fresh.

Delicious food in Bad Doberan. It was our first time in the monastery kitchen. The good ratings attracted us here and we were not disappointed. We had the burger with the great country potatoes, really tasty and filling. As well as the redfish fillet with a bar garlic crust, also very tasty. For dessert I had the mascarpone with tonka beans because I really wanted to try tonka beans. It was beautifully prepared with lots of fruit, but since I don't actually like mascarpone... it's my own fault. Very friendly, attentive and lovely service. We will definitely come back after the renovation.

Wir hatten die vegetarischen Pilze, welche ziemlich fest und durch die Panade recht knusprig waren, der dip hat jedoch alles gerettet. Die Bedienung war um Freundlichkeit bemüht.

Wir sind dort zu Zweit ganz spontan Essen gegangen und waren dann sehr glücklich, dieses Lokal gewählt zu haben. Der Service ist außerordentlich freundlich, es wurde sich sehr bemüht, dass wir draußen sitzen konnten, obwohl es zur Mittagszeit sehr voll war. Die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm und die Getränke wurden rasch gebracht. Die selbstgemachte Limonade und der hauseigene Eistee sind sehr zu empfehlen! Wir aßen beide Rindersteak, welches absolut perfekt gegart war und herrlich zart und lecker schmeckte. Die Beilagen - Bratkartoffeln und Wildkräutersalat - passten wunderbar und schmeckten ebenfalls gut! Die Bedienung fragte sehr nett, nach angemessener Zeit, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Wir werden demnächst wiederkommen. Die Klosterküche ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Die Klosterküche war für mich ein Besonders Highlight. Fantastisches Essen mit sehr viel Spaß und Liebe angerichtet. Alles frisch zubereitete Leckereien. Absolut empfehlenswert! Kleine Speisekarte, jedoch tolle Gerichte. Burger 🍔 und Austernpilze - beide Gerichte sehr schmackhaft.

Die Speisekarte hat mich lange überlegen lassen was es denn zu essen sein darf. Letztendlich - das Essen war hervorragend. Mit einer gewissen Finesse und liebevoll angerichtet. Am liebsten einmal die Karte hoch und runter von allem probieren. Danke an die Küche für so viel Input für die Geschmacksnerven.

Sehr schönes Kloster mit rustikaler Sitzgelegenheit unter den Bäumen. Sehr leckeres Essen, außergewöhnlich dekoriert und fröhlich muntere Bedienung die ihren Job gern macht. Klare Empfehlung. Einziger Nachteil ist der leichte Straßenlärm...

Ich wurde von Empfehlungen von Freunden und natürlich den Rezensionen hier angelockt, und bin nicht enttäuscht worden. Super Essen an zwei Tagen, nettes Personal in einem kleinen und feinen Außenbereich. Immer gerne wieder.

Nettes Restaurant an einem historischen Ort. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Speisen und Getränke waren sehr lecker und machten zufrieden, glücklich und satt. Die Preise waren dem Umfeld und der Qualität angemessen. Wir können die Klosterküche jedermann empfehlen und kommen gern wieder.

Sehr leckeres Essen, Qualitätsküche! Wir hatten Duroc Schwein, köstlich. Alles sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Aber recht eng und warm (was uns nicht gestört hat). Service 1a, freundlich, aufmerksam. Preise sind mittlerweile überall hier hoch, Preis-Leistung aber okay. Fazit: empfehlenswert.
