The restaurant is conveniently located in the city center and advertises half prices for all burgers and tarte flambées during "happy hour" from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cozy atmosphere with lounge music. Clean toilets! Attractive menu. I ate a burger with pulled pork and my wife a tarte flambée with beef and sheep's cheese. And that's where the enjoyment begins: Fine, tender meat, topped with Sheddar cream! As a side dish, some fried potatoes with fine aiolli and a delicate rocket salad with a very tasty dressing. The tarte flambée with hollandaise sauce, sheep cheese and tender pieces of beef. Not run-of-the-mill, but very fine cuisine! Highly recommended... If it weren't for the drinks prices: 0.2l cola €3.90, cappuccino €4.90, beer €5.70, etc. From our point of view, that spoils the enjoyment experience...

Very friendly service. Delicious food (pulled pork burger and sea bass with picture, rump steak, bruschetta and fish pot without). If we didn't live 800km away, it would definitely be a favorite restaurant.

The food was very, very tasty. The employees are very friendly and competent. I ordered pasta with giant shrimps. As a starter, celery pear soup. Tiramisu for dessert. 10 out of 10 points 😊👍👏👏

At first glance you can be mistaken as to which diamond is hidden behind the facade. The food was a “fireworks of flavors”. Wine and other drinks were great. And that's not an exaggeration! The service is friendly, courteous and flexible, prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality. The best thing we have discovered so far on the Baltic Sea beach. We look forward to a reunion. Wir waren mit einer größeren Familiengruppe hier zum Essen. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente in der Stadt, nahe den Gleisen des historischen Zuges mit Dampflock, ist stilvoll und schön mit großer Außenterrasse unter alten Bäumen. Getränke kommen in angemessener Zeit. Wir hatten verschiedene Gerichte vom Caesar Salat über Bruschetta bis zur Fisch-Tagesempfehlung (Zanderfilet) oder Burger. Was bei den Tagesempfehlungen stört, ist dass sie zwar vom Personal vorgestellt und genau beschrieben werden (sie sind auch auf Tafeln zu lesen) aber weder auf den Tafeln, noch bei der mündlichen Vorstellung werden die Preise genannt (?). Uns allen haben die Gerichte wirklich gut geschmeckt und die Qualität ist gut; leider stimmt aber hier das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht. Die Burger kosten ab 22,80 €, der Ceasar Salat 17,80€ … (Karte ist im Internet) Die Portionen sind wirklich klein, man wird nicht satt. Brot gibt es auch keins dazu. Zusammengefasst: Schönes Restaurant, leckeres Essen aber zu teuer. (Mittags gibt es zwischen 3 und 5 Uhr 50% auf bestimmte Gerichte ( Burger und Flammkuchen)… Vielleicht könnte man einen Mittelweg finden?

Super nice and quiet location. The staff was extremely friendly and humorous. Until the food it would have been 4 stars. BUT the rump steak was so perfect and was simply convincing. Absolute favorite in the entire Rostock area.

A very impressive restaurant. The service doesn't stop at the guest, but continued very lovingly with our dogs; they each received their own clean bowl with fresh water and a few dog biscuits on a plate. Very very friendly and nice 👍. We'd love to come back, the farm and the whole ambience are great, very tasty food at normal prices. I had a small starter of salad and truffle pasta with wild mushrooms and my husband had a pulled pork burger and it was very, very tasty. Even the toilets are pleasantly clean and comfortably furnished. You have a great place there! Thank you for the warm welcome.

Quiet, cozy restaurant, we only had a drink, but the food looked very good

We have been to the ZIKKE several times during our holidays (2010-2015). It's always an experience to try up and down the menu. The staff is always attentive, friendly and quick. We will definitely come back! Went to the Zikke again in April '17, I can only say very high praise. Came back again in July '17, still just as good! As always a pleasure! Small update; Went to the Zikke again in May 2020, just like the previous visits, it was a pleasure. I can only hope that we can come often, many thanks especially to Birgit. And we were guests again in August 2020, it's always an experience to look through the menu...interesting dishes are offered every time. Keep it up, we'll be back! Many thanks to Birgit for the campaign with the rice pudding....press. So, summer 2021, I've been to the Zikke several times again...just great, just like it has been all these years! The boss and Birgit are absolutely brilliant. I can't say anything about the other employees at the moment. If you read one or two negative reviews, I can't understand it. It is possible that one or two of our contemporaries got off on the wrong foot. Boys & girls keep it up, we'll be back. February 22, we visited the ZIKKE again, like before, it's always nice with you. I'm excited to see what happens when the kitchen renovation is finished. August 2022, on vacation again and of course several times in the Zikke....As expected, there was always something interesting on the menu/daily specials and everything was really great. Many thanks to Mikki and Mr. Bolz for the loving care. Also a big compliment to the kitchen, which prepares everything so beautifully. We will miss you for now... Update April '24, been to the Zikke again...like so many times, a wonderful evening with you, thank you very much, we'll be back.

Sehr netter Service und ganz außergewöhnlich freundliche Mitarbeiter. Wir waren mit einer größeren Familiengruppe vor Ort, das Essen kam gleichzeitig, war geschmacklich gut und alle Sonderwünsche wurden berücksichtigt. Der Humor der Mitarbeiter war wirklich lustig und unser Kinder waren voll zufrieden.

Fantastic food. Super tasty, a special treat for the palate. My guests were full of praise. I absolutely loved the beef stroganof. Ordered a table for other guests next Monday. Then I'll eat Thai curry with chicken breast.

We were here for the first time and spontaneously too. The reception was very pleasant and the atmosphere outside was very inviting and charming. The service staff was really nice and friendly. Choosing the food was a little more difficult because there are no everyday dishes here, which is nice. However, the selection of children's meals, here in number two, is very poor. So our daughter decided on a burger which was prepared for her according to the children's wishes. So in this case just the bread, ketchup and chicken patty plus potato wedges. The other two dishes were also very tasty and ok, although they were a bit more expensive. And that's exactly the issue, when the bill came, we were very shocked because for this "children's hamburger" without any real ingredients, we were asked for the price of a burger menu from the menu, for an impressive 22.90 €, left us speechless. We would have liked to have adjusted the price to the actual value of the goods, especially since in this case it was a children's meal. All in all, it is a nice, charmingly located restaurant with nice staff including dishes that are not everyday, but perhaps a little too expensive in one place or another.

I actually wanted to eat something in Rostock before I went home, but because I didn't have enough time, I had a look at what was nice in Bad Doberan. The very good reviews made me curious and looking at the menu was also very promising, so why not try it out?! The location in a quiet courtyard with lots of shade (but there are also sunny spots) appealed to me immediately. The menu offers something for everyone, but at the same time it is not overloaded. A great selection of drinks with self-created drinks tops it off! The waitresses were very friendly, on the ball and always available at the right time. Food and drinks also came very quickly. Prices aren't cheap, but I haven't regretted my choice and I'm starting my journey home happy and full. :-) By the way, the aioli dip for the potatoes on the chicken burger tastes absolutely fantastic, it could also be used as a sauce on the burger! Just an idea... ;-)

Furthermore, in my opinion it is far too loud behind the counter. The counter doors are slammed shut. I found that very disturbing. If you sat outside it certainly wouldn't be like that. We were in Bad Doberan for 2 days. We discovered the restaurant right next to the Doberaner Hof. Stopped in on the first evening out of curiosity. Were served very well and friendly without a reservation. The food is very good. We made reservations again for the next evening. And we were well served again. Thank you for two lovely evenings

Nice ambience, nice staff, delicious food! If you want to go out for a fancy meal, this is my first choice. The staff is friendly and funny, the food is also very delicious (for example, I had perch in aluminum foil as the fish of the day) and the atmosphere is also quiet and relaxing. Bad Doberan im Februar an einem Sonntag. Fast alle Restaurants sind zu, dieses hatte offen. Anspruch und Realität klaffen weit auseinander. Es wurde uns angeraten, die Garderobe am Eingang abzulegen. Am Nebentisch spielte derweil eine Dame am Handy lautstark ihre YouTube Videos ab und ein Fernseher lief wie in einer Spielhalle. Das Essen war ok . Fisch ca 25 Euro, Salat mit Hühnchenbrust extra auch 25 Euro . Mit Getränken kamen wir auf fast 80 Euro. Wenn wir Hunger gehabt hätten , wären wir nicht satt geworden. Ich hab dem Kellner auf Nachfrage gesagt , das die Portionen für den Preis zu klein sind. Netterweise räumte er sofort ein , das man das ansprechen soll. Sein Vorschlag : Man könnte auch noch eine Vorspeise bestellen. Dann bot er aber auch an, das die Portionen größer zubereitet werden können , wenn man diese als zu klein erachtet. Dafür gibt es die 2 Punkte .

The staff was very friendly. But the food was too expensive for the not particularly large portions. The risotto had too much bite.

Dinner: 5 different dishes, all of them moderately large, but NOT inexpensive, the taste was okay, but nothing more, e.g. filled flatbread very dry or the dish that was declared as a salmon dish had very sparsely a few small salmon rolls on the edge. Otherwise everything is somehow gloomy/dark, nostalgic and the room is not comfortably warm. The service was attentive, almost too friendly, ordering without writing it down (but in the end it doesn't matter), but asking if everything is okay after 2 minutes is a bit too much service. Sorry, I actually meant “tarte flambée”, not “flatbread”. It was still dry, similar to crispy bread.

Ein kleines aber feines Restaurant, das Essen war super lecker (die Waldpilzsuppe als Tagesempfehlung war einsame spitze), die Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Ein tolles Lokal, gutes Essen, sehr nette Kellner. Wir waren 13 Personen, hatten in der oberen Etage einen Raum für uns. Wir wurden sehr nett und zuvorkommend bedient, es blieb kein Wunsch offen. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend dort alle Gäste waren begeistert vom Ambiente, dem Essen und den netten Kellnern. Ich kann das Restaurant nur weiter empfehlen.

Super Location, bestes Ambiente. Für Treffen oder snacks ideal. Aber nicht 1. Wahl für die, welche super Mittagstisch wollen. Darauf ist dieses Lokal wohl auch nicht prätestiniert. Aber urig und sehr zu empfehlen, wer gemütlich sitzen und relaxen will.

Der Fisch war zu lange gebraten, der Geflügelburger ein zähes Fertigprodukt, die Kartoffelröstis halb roh und insgesamt fehlte der Pfiff. Das Personal ging professionell und nett mit unserer Reklamation um. Für uns ist es nicht mehr die erste Adresse in Bad Doberan- leider!

Wir haben heute spontan einen Stopp in Bad Doberan eingelegt und auf der Suche nach einem Café sind wir im Café Zikke eingekehrt. Obwohl das Café 15 Uhr eine Pause einlegt, wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und durften bleiben. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und zuvorkommend, mein Schokobrownie und die Zitronentarte waren sehr lecker und toll auf dem Teller angerichtet. Sehr zu empfehlen. 👍🏼

Außergewöhnlicher Service super Zubereitung wunderschöne Lage

Restaurant liegt idyllisch im Innenhof. Man kann drinnen und draußen sitzen und Hunde sind hier erlaubt. Wassernapf und Leckerlies wurden uns an den Tisch gebracht. Vom Cocktail, über Kaffee/Kuchen bis hin zum Burger und Flammenkuchen wird man hier rundum versorgt. Die Garnelenpfanne kann ich sehr empfehlen. Kellner war freundlich und aufmerksam, obwohl Restaurant sehr gut besucht war, haben wir uns gut umsorgt gefühlt. Hat zwar etwas länger gedauert, bis das Essen gebracht wurde, aber geschmacklich sehr gut und der Teller war schön angerichtet. WC war sauber und ordentlich.

Nachdem wir ( 4 Personen )völlig ausgehungert mit der Molly aus Heiligendamm zurück kamen (dort war alles geschlossen) kehrten wir voller Erwartung hier ein und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Kellnerin war sehr schlagfertig und höflich zugleich . Das Essen war super und reichlich, wurde recht zügig serviert. Sogar die Türen wurden uns aufgehalten und eine persönliche Verabschiedung freute uns sehr.

Sehr freundlicher (!!!) und professioneller Service und sehr leckere Speisen (wir hatten Edelfische und knackiges Gemüse mit Reis). Die Weinkarte ist entsprechend gut. Dieses chice Restaurant können wir sehr empfehlen!

Immer wieder sehr gut. Wir glauben, sie haben sich sogar noch verbessert. Es gibt eine reichhaltige Speisekarte. Jeder findet etwas. Würden wir mehr in der Nähe wohnen, wären wir oft zu Gast!!!

Wir waren zum Mittagessen hier und wurden auf sehr angenehme Art empfangen. Das Tagesmenü: Pilzrahmsüppchen und die Scholle waren außergewöhnlich gut, die Bratkartoffeln hell und nicht ( wie oft in anderen Häusern erlebt) angebrannt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung. Die wohlige Atmosphäre in dem sonnigen Hinterhof, fern von Autolärm haben wir sehr genossen. Wir schauen sicher bald wieder rein.
