Price/performance ratio was on the high side. The service was excellent. Special requests were handled superbly. That's not something you see very often these days.

A wonderful little restaurant with excellent service. The food is expensive, but very tasty. Unfortunately, the chicken teriyaki burger with the kimchi was too salty for me, but my companion enjoyed the Thai curry. It's very cozy and inviting to linger.

A cozy backyard restaurant with very friendly and accommodating staff. Not only were we two-legged friends well looked after, but my dog ​​was too. An unassuming café/restaurant that's hard to find, but definitely worth a visit. :) We had an apple crumble and a chocolate soufflé and were deeply impressed. Both were freshly prepared with attention to detail. The taste was very, very good, and the service was incredibly friendly. 😊 They place a lot of emphasis on the quality of the food here, yet the prices are completely reasonable. We sat outside in the courtyard and found it very relaxing with a little rippling water. As soon as we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back.

A lovely place to enjoy a relaxed restaurant visit. Located a bit off the main tourist route in a side street. Signs are clearly visible along the street. The food we ordered was very good, and the cappuccino... amazing. The large cup is worth it. The staff was friendly and attentive. We felt very comfortable.

This wonderful restaurant is tucked away in a back courtyard. The service team was very charming and humorous, and the food was delicious. We highly recommend both the plaice and the potato pancakes (children's dish). The interior is very tasteful, while the outdoor area is a bit more rustic and cozy in comparison.

I ordered a Caesar salad without dressing. It cost 19.80. The plate contained green leaf lettuce, corn tomato, and cress. This is a disgrace. Not recommended!

A lovely restaurant. The food was delicious. We had a tarte flambée and a fish soup. Both were very good. I started with the soup of the day, a cream of cauliflower soup, which was very tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. They accommodated requests, and provided helpful advice if questions arise. Overall, the restaurant is very good. It's definitely worth a visit.

A wonderful and cozy restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was attentive and very friendly. Today, Whitsun Sunday, June 8, 2025, we visited the restaurant for the second time. Everything was as described above, excellent service, and the food was delicious, but the price was way too expensive for the portion size. The asparagus, unfortunately, can't compare to the asparagus from Nienburg. Sorry, it may be that there's a surcharge for Whitsun, but in general, I think the pricing is unreasonable.

We always enjoy coming here. It's a very nice spot, just off the railway line. It's very nice here, and the food is delicious. Our dog loves it too. The large parasol turned the colors orange, and everything on the plate was the right color.

We spontaneously visited the restaurant on a Sunday evening without a reservation. We were greeted very courteously and seated at a small table. Our dog was immediately given a water bowl and a small plate with several treats. When it was noticed that the table would be rather inconvenient for a dog, the reservations were quickly adjusted slightly, and we were seated at a larger table with more space around it. The menu offers something for every taste. We enjoyed the food, and the drinks (wine and homemade lemonade) were also very tasty. My husband even got just a sip of wine to try first, which is rather unusual in mid-priced restaurants. The service staff were all very friendly and accommodating, without seeming stiff or pretentious. The ambiance is beautiful, not overly opulent, not kitschy, exactly our taste. We felt extremely comfortable and will definitely be back!!!

I've been there several times. Café Zikke is one of my absolute favorites. The food is perfect, the staff is extremely friendly, and if you can sit outside in nice weather, it's a perfect time.

We were registered as a group of 6 people to eat at the Zikke. On the daily menu, the restaurant recommended rack of lamb with beans and sweet potatoes (I think as a puree). In any case, we were so impressed that four people ordered the lamb. What we got as a dish was described by the waiters as lamb. Unfortunately, while we were eating we discovered that our lamb in particular must have had a speech impediment that was evident in the meat, or that the butcher had processed a bleating cow. In any case, we were all served beef without saying anything. I probably wouldn't have minded if I had been told that the lamb, for whatever reason, was out and could no longer be prepared. But simply saying nothing and trying to give the guest an Who knows what else might be “offered” to a guest contrary to their order. For my part, I will avoid the restaurant in the future because, despite the good service, I feel somehow cheated. Really a shame.

First of all I have to say the service was good and the black beer too!!!! Went to the Zikke this evening and the restaurant/café looked good and after so many good reviews here I thought what could go wrong. But I have to say my girlfriend was a bit bitchy after dinner and I have to say rightly so! I opened the menu and thought OK...a bit pricey, but I'm willing to pay a little more for good food. When we ordered, the first thing that came was “prawns with noodles” but unfortunately the shrimps were out. Nagut can happen. Alternative found "fish pot" was the name. When the fish pot came to the table, there was great disappointment. Then I thought of a better name for it, put canned fish in tomato sauce in a pot with water on it and let it cook for a few hours!!! Unfortunately, I'm serious about that. What should that be? I have eaten many types and types of fish soups but none were as bad as this one! This porridge only consisted of fish slush and tomato paste, without any spices, vegetables or anything else. I don't even want to talk about the amount that should be a large portion. So for me the whole thing was a price-intensive non-starter!!!

First of all I would like to praise the extremely nice and attentive service, simply great🤗 The crumble was so delicious and a treat for the eyes too. When we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back with a big appetite 😋

We had dinner at Café Zikke last night and it was once again very tasty and cozy. The cocktails (Espresso Martini) were really good and we were well served by lovely Jana. Unfortunately, we couldn't give her a tip because it's not yet possible to pay by card at Café Zikke.

Good themed restaurant with good cuisine and great service staff. You can sit well, outside or inside,... cocktails are delicious 😜, wine too 😀 and if you need schnapps and beer, here you go!!! The dishes are all great and there is something for everyone... Whether fish, chicken 😄, everything is there... And there are so many other things on the menu... Price/performance ratio is also right and that's why .... Nothing to complain about....

Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung auch die teleonsche Reservierung ausgesprochen zugewandt und zuvorkommend. Der Wein war gut, die Trüffelpasta alerdings enttäuschend- von Trüffel keine Spur und inssgesamt die Pilze mt der Sauce eher matschig- mein Mann war mit seiner Gamberetti Pasta allerdings zufrieden und die Creme brulee hat ihm auch gefallen. Die Pasta sebst in der Konsistenz war ordentlich.

Das Cafe Zikke steht seit Jahren auf unserer Liste bei einem Besuch in Bad Doberan. Es liegt ein wenig versteckt ganz in der Nähe einer Haltestelle der Molli. Es gibt hier einen guten verlässlichen Service, welcher nicht zu aufdringlich ist. Zudem bekommt hier gute und leckere Vor- sowie Hauptspeisen. Empfehlenswert sind hier auch immer die Gerichte welche ausserhalb der Karte vom Service aufgerufen werden. Man sitzt hier über 2 Etagen und im Sommer bietet der Biergarten auch Schutz vor der Sonne.

Planned as a "warm-up break" with coffee and cake, I was looked after in a very friendly manner and stayed for a tarte flambée and homemade mint lemonade (tip!). The dishes are excellently presented and are at least as tasty as they look. I'm happy to recommend the "zikke" and will come back!

It's getting euphoric: If you want to eat well in Bad Doberan, you can't go past the “Zikke”. On November 10, 2024 I had the fish of the day: sea bass fried in the skin on Chinese cabbage with homemade mashed potatoes. Terrific! In fact, what the friendly operator says is true: we don't stir things here, we cook them. The whole atmosphere is very well maintained and the sanitary area is so clean that you feel at home. Class.
