I haven't eaten this well in ages!!!! My compliments to the entire kitchen team...it was absolutely delicious! The service was also outstanding. They magically conjured up even the most unspoken requests! P.S. The tomato fish soup is amazing! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening!!!

We recently dined at the Jagdhaus again, which we consider one of the best restaurants in Bad Doberan and the surrounding area, and were once again completely satisfied. The food is outstanding, with seasonal specialties, and you can taste that everything is freshly prepared. The wine selection is perfect, as is the service. The Jagdhaus is beautifully situated near the coast and yet easily accessible (even by public transport).

We come every year and it's always perfect. Great service and absolutely outstanding food and drinks. A must if you're in the area.

A nice hotel overall, very quiet except for the shooting range next door. The room itself was also very peaceful. It's less than a 10-minute walk through the woods to the beach. Parking was available right at the hotel. Unfortunately, the grounds didn't seem very well-maintained, even though the season had already started in mid-May. There are some nice seating areas and a lot of potential that could be improved. Check-in was done online, and we received some assistance over the phone since we arrived a bit early. It was a shame that we couldn't reach anyone with further questions afterward, and no one called us back. The reception was unmanned from Friday to Sunday. Our room was great for three people! A bit dark overall, but perfect for a weekend trip. The bathroom was clean, but the rest of the room felt untouched since last season (dust and even dust bunnies). The first breakfast was quite good. There was a selection of coffees and various juices. We were asked whether we wanted scrambled or fried eggs. In the next room, there was a buffet with something for everyone: warm rolls, boiled eggs, various cold cuts, yogurt, and muesli. You got the feeling that someone was putting their heart and soul into it and making an effort. Unfortunately, we were totally disappointed the next day. The rolls were either as hard as the day before or undercooked. We had to wait a very long time for the scrambled eggs, and the variety wasn't the same. Of course, they don't want to waste much food, but it would be good to keep the selection consistent. We would still come back if the prices stayed the same.
