Lodge Hotel in Bad Doberan

A nice hotel overall, very quiet except for the shooting range next door. The room itself was also very peaceful. It's less than a 10-minute walk through the woods to the beach. Parking was available right at the hotel. Unfortunately, the grounds didn't seem very well-maintained, even though the season had already started in mid-May. There are some nice seating areas and a lot of potential that could be improved. Check-in was done online, and we received some assistance over the phone since we arrived a bit early. It was a shame that we couldn't reach anyone with further questions afterward, and no one called us back. The reception was unmanned from Friday to Sunday. Our room was great for three people! A bit dark overall, but perfect for a weekend trip. The bathroom was clean, but the rest of the room felt untouched since last season (dust and even dust bunnies). The first breakfast was quite good. There was a selection of coffees and various juices. We were asked whether we wanted scrambled or fried eggs. In the next room, there was a buffet with something for everyone: warm rolls, boiled eggs, various cold cuts, yogurt, and muesli. You got the feeling that someone was putting their heart and soul into it and making an effort. Unfortunately, we were totally disappointed the next day. The rolls were either as hard as the day before or undercooked. We had to wait a very long time for the scrambled eggs, and the variety wasn't the same. Of course, they don't want to waste much food, but it would be good to keep the selection consistent. We would still come back if the prices stayed the same.

Great hotel with excellent service. We were thrilled and will definitely return. There are apparently shooting practice sessions on Wednesdays and Fridays, but we didn't notice them because we were at the beach at those times. Bicycles can be rented for a small fee for a day, which is definitely worth it. Our only minor criticism is the price of breakfast. We found it a bit high. But still, a definite recommendation.

Very nice little house with well-kept and modern rooms. Good breakfast buffet, appropriate for the size of the house and with the possibility of having freshly prepared scrambled eggs etc. Very friendly. Location on the edge of the town and can only be reached on partially paved footpaths, car is easy.

We (2 adults, 2 children & 2 dogs) were able to treat ourselves to a wonderful weekend here. The hotel is really comfortably furnished, the beds were very comfortable and the staff was really more than friendly. We thought it was great that if you forgo cleaning the rooms, a donation is made to save bees. We took part straight away. There is also free hot, delicious coffee in the entrance area all day long, which you can even take with you in a to-go cup. The shooting range next door (Saturdays from 9-12) didn't bother us at all. The hotel is located in the middle of the forest, perfect for children and dogs. 600m to the water is also perfect. The restaurant was also really great, with really tasty wines. We had the Schneider Kaitui 2022, highly recommended. We will come back! Thank you very much for this super cozy weekend

This was our second time in this hotel and we are thrilled with the location (close to the forest and the Baltic Sea on our doorstep) and the peace and quiet of the hotel. The service was very good, the loft room on the first floor was very pleasant and clean and the hotel lady was very friendly and attentive to us. This time there was a breakfast buffet which was delicious and well presented. We would book a room there again and again....

The Lodge Hotel is located in the middle of the Heiligendammer Forest. We didn't notice anything about the shooting range. The bed was comfortable, but we found the rooms to be very small and there was no way to stow your luggage. The proximity to the beach is almost unbeatable. A big point of criticism for me is actually the breakfast. For €150 per night I expect a lot more. In our opinion the price was not justified.

The hotel is beautifully located, the service is super friendly and the rooms are nicely furnished, but very dark and photographed extremely well in the pictures on the internet. It is incomprehensible at all that so few people bother at the shooting range next door, where shooting takes place for over three hours straight from 9 a.m. on Saturday. If you want to spend a relaxing weekend and like to sleep in, this is unbearable. A note in advance would have been helpful; we would have booked somewhere else because we arrived really exhausted. Not recommended for a weekend.

We had a wonderful weekend in this beautiful place. Check-in was friendly and quick. The rooms are beautiful, the staff are friendly and fresh coffee is always available. The breakfast was really cozy and there was everything you need for breakfast. Everything was lovingly prepared and always replenished so that we didn't miss anything.👍 The chip card works for your own room and the entrances to the house, which is very easy and means you can move around freely and don't have to carry around extra keys. The way to the beach only takes a few minutes on foot. One should not be frightened as there is a shooting range nearby and shots can be heard at certain periods. But that didn't bother us in any way. We can highly recommend the hotel and would love to come back!!! 🤗

Every year or two I come at Bad Doberan for thé festival Of music in July on the Galopprennbahn. This time we chose to come over at this place : the room we had is small but the decoration, the quality of the furniture- including the king size bed - made the place a delicious stay. Also ; they have bikes to hire, which is really helpful to reach out to the festival or the beach I will come back next year

Ruhige Lage, Zimmer modern ausgestattet, saubere Zimmer und saubere Anlage, freundliche Mitarbeiter, Schießanlage in der heutigen Zeit auf jedenfall gewöhnungsbedürftig aber man wird schon auf der Internetseite daraufhin gewiesen, die Fahrräder könnten mal general überholt werden, Strandnähe

Leider konnten wir nur ein Wochenende bleiben. Wir hätten gern mehr Zeit dort verbracht. Liebevoll und modern eingerichtet. Super ruhig gelegen und der Strand ist fußläufig sehr gut zu erreichen. Tolles Frühstück!

Ich möchte anderen Interessenten mit Kinder die Information mitgeben, dass dieses Hotel ein Mindestalter von 8 Jahren vorschreibt. Leider findet man diesen entscheiden Hinweis nicht in den aktuellen AGBs. In der Info-Übersicht von Google wird man allerdings darauf hingewiesen. Wir mussten daher leider unsere Buchung stornieren. Über Zimmer sowie Ausstattung kann ich keine Aussage treffen. Der Mailkontakt war schnell und freundlich.

Sehr schönes Hotel freundliches Personal und sehr nett und das zimmer echt schön

Wir hatten in unserer Firma mehrere Krankheitsfälle und deswegen konnte ich meine geplante Reise leider nicht antreten. Da die kostenfreie Stornierungsfrist bereits abgelaufen war, bot mir Frau Reiche (Hotelmanagerin) an, das gebuchte Einzelzimmer bei dem Hotelportal wieder freizugeben, sodass es anderweitig gebucht werden kann. Zum Glück ist dieser Umstand tatsächlich auch eingetreten. Hätte aber niemand das Zimmer gebucht, hatte Sie mir angeboten, die Reise (zeitnah) zu verlegen und das Zimmer dann in Anspruch zu nehmen. Einfach nur Top, wir fühlten uns rundum sehr wohl. Und das herrliche Frühstück war einfach super. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Kann leider nix dazu sagen weiß nur das die Lage sehr ruhig ist und ein großer Parkplatz davor ist. Äußerlich macht es einen guten Eindruck.

Personal super, Frühstück super ! Zimmer gut, nur bei den Außenanlagen sollte mal etwas mehr Zeit investiert werden.

Wir waren als Paar einige Nächte hier. Das Hotel ist in einem sehr schönen Haus und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Weit entfernt von den großen Hotelketten. Unser Zimmer hatte einige Schrägen, welches man als „eng“ bezeichnen könnte aber wir fanden es sehr gemütlich. Das Restaurant im Haus gehört nicht zum Hotel. Sonst hätte ich hier wegen des dortigem arroganten Betriebers zwei Punkte weniger vergeben. Aber das Hotel ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir haben hier ein sehr schönes ruhiges kleines feines in der Natur gelegenes Hotel mit kleiner Gästeanzahl, einen Steinwurf vom Strand entfernt, die Vögel zwitschern morgens wundervoll . Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt in diesem sehr liebevoll gestalteten Hotel, der Tag startete mit einem leckeren Frühstück und kann mit tollen Abendessen im Kosi enden. Sehr liebes Hotelpersonal, die sich sehr um das Wohlergehen ihrer Gäste kümmern. Wir danken Euch für einen schönen Familienurlaub 🧡und erholsame Zeit

Sehr nettes Hotel mit aufmerksames Personal. Zimmer sind mit viel Liebe gesteilt. Corona macht die Vielfalt im Restaurant etwas kleiner an Speisen. Komme gerne wieder.
