Jostalstüble in Titisee-Neustadt

Das war leider gar nichts. Ich kenne den Gashof von vor der Corona-Zeit und fährt ich muss leider feststellen, dass sich hier offenbar viel zum schlechten verändert hat. Auch haben die Bilder auf der Homepage nichts mit der Realität zu tun. Zum Essen gab es Schnitzel, ein Klassiker den jeder Koch beherrschen muss. War leider nicht der Fall. Viel zu dick und dann auch noch halb verbrannt. Die Pommes waren noch schlechter. Für einen kleinen Aufschlag kann man im Umkreis von wenigen Minuten um einiges besser essen.

The food was OK. Some staff annoyed. It was unfortunate that an additional €3 per meal was charged on a public holiday without any announcement or prior information. Unfortunately, you only noticed this when you paid the bill. When asked by the owner, this is justified by the holiday surcharge for the staff. Unfortunately, this was not stated anywhere upfront or it was not brought to our attention in advance. Too bad. Therefore we will no longer visit the restaurant.

Servizio buono, tavoli distanziati. Questa volta oltre il menù abbiamo trovato un menù buffet. Tutti quelli che erano presenti hanno scelto questo. Anche io, ma non era un gran che, l’idea è buona perché si svuota la dispensa, ma la preparazione non è accurata, come le cotolette di maiale cotte a temperature elevate,gli gnocchi fatti con la farina, anche le cotolette scelte dal menù erano cotte nello stesso modo.

Family-friendly country inn. We had a lovely 2 bedroom family apartment. Great service, helpful and patient at any time and on any topic. Delicious food in the evening and a rich breakfast round it all off. Very good location for many excursions. We'll be back.

mega beautiful landscape. Clean everywhere, very nice staff. Sauna, hay bed and breakfast included. Coffee machine, teas and drinks are always available. The food tastes very good, goulash soup is really recommended. Pet friendly 😺🐶

Full marks - I would have been very surprised to see something else in the Black Forest 😉 A funny, slightly “crazy” boss, a traditional house and a uniquely beautiful landscape! The hotel's own restaurant is excellent, and the prices for accommodation and meals are surprisingly affordable! You could almost say it's a little insider tip! We'll definitely come back (in winter) to go snowshoeing.

Reserve a table for 6 on the 28th in the evening, very hearty meal and more delicious staff, very very pleasant and helpful, very nice dog, moreover we booked breakfast at the last minute which we were happy to accept, I highly recommend this hotel restaurant

The Landgasthof Jostalstüble, Jostalstraße 60 in 79822 Titisee-Neustadt is a beautiful and well-located country inn with a kitchen and rooms. We went to the summer buffet and had a nice salad bar with the following selection: - Carrot salad - Rice salad - Tomato salad - Feta with tomatoes - leaf lettuce - Cucumber salad There were also two different sauces, a vinaigrette and a white sauce. The vinaigrette was a bit too oily for me personally, but both sauces tasted good to me. The main course consisted of salmon with pasta and sauce and Schäufele with potatoes, bacon beans and sauerkraut. The Schäufele was nice and tender, the potatoes could have stayed in the steamer for a few more minutes. The bacon beans were nicely shortened although they were a bit mild. The sauerkraut was good. The fish was also good. Unfortunately there was no sauce for the Schäufele in the buffet. When I asked, I got a good demi-glace sauce. At the end there were different types of cheese. There was no dessert in the buffet. The location was rustic but just right for us. The service staff was very friendly and the owners were also nice and attentive. The summer buffet was well priced at 19.90 euros. Conclusion: A beautifully located location in the countryside with rooms and good offers. The summer buffet was too mildly seasoned for us. The offering was good and the friendly staff and owners were very nice. The price-performance ratio was very good and the outside terrace was also nice. We felt comfortable.

Highly recommended restaurant both for the quality of the dishes and the courtesy of the staff. We ate cured meats, goulash, beef and pork with mushrooms and späzle... all excellent. The desserts are also delicious and plentiful. Menu for children with lots of choice and lots of games to entertain them. But really, the thing that made us feel good the most was the sweetness and courtesy of the lady who served us at the table. Thank you!

Wir haben heute Abend sehr gut dort gegessen. Es gab ein Buffet mit leckerer Salatbar, Schnitzel, und jede Menge Beilagen (Bratkartoffeln, Kroketten, Nudelauflauf, Pilze, Gemüse und Pommes konnte man sich frisch dazu bestellen). Zum Abschluss noch ein Käsebrett. Leckeres Bier und einen tollen Platz auf der Terrasse. Die Kids waren happy auf dem Spielplatz und haben sogar vom Küchenpersonal noch Schokolade geschenkt bekommen. Es gab außerdem eine extra Kinderkarte und etwas zum Malen. Was will man als Familie mehr.

We stayed there for three nights, the rooms are very nice, spacious, super clean and with a balcony. We felt very comfortable, the staff are all very friendly, the breakfast has a good selection and is very good. We ate there one evening and it was also very good. All in all it was just perfect and we would love to come back.

We were there for dinner. Not only was the food delicious, friendliness was also a priority. Dogs are very welcome. A little out of the way, but very worth it!

Review for the restaurant: Overall, the food was good and the terrace is beautifully landscaped. Don't expect any newfangled magic from the kitchen, but it tasted really good. Unfortunately the service was very slow. We waited forever until we could order something, the drinks basically only came with the food. But at least everyone was polite and courteous. In my opinion, it's not possible for the chefs to sit down at a place on the edge of the terrace to smoke during breaks. No guest smoked, some were eating, we had small children with us and the entire back part of the terrace was disturbed by the smoke from the employees. The operators should think of something else for their employees. My tip: If you live nearby, order food, pick it up and eat at home. Then you don't have the nice terrace, but it's just as tasty, very quick and very cheap.

Very tasty food. Went for coffee and cake once. Good Black Forest cake. But the others, such as small round cherry cakes, are also good. The second time we went for dinner. I had the Stubenteller, an asparagus dish, very tasty. Very friendly staff/service, responded directly to my family's wishes. Always my pleasure.

A great and really nice guesthouse. We were guests here twice for dinner (cafe & cake and dinner). Both times were really tasty and a great holiday experience and we can only recommend it. Food was very tasty and there is a great wine selection. Thank you for the great time.

Very friendly staff. Location is OK, nice view but on a very busy country road. Ambiance is very rustic. Beds weren't ours, hard and creaky. Very clean. The dinner was an absolute hit. Not exactly cheap but worth every cent. 1xroulade, 1xFeldberger Jägerschnitzel and 1xvenison ragout (best). Breakfast also good and plentiful.

We ate very well. Rump steak with a pound of onions and asparagus with pork fillet. Starter, main course and desserts and we were able to roll out. The schnapps are also recommended. Service was very accommodating. We will be back.

Sehr tolles und höfliches Hotel, wir waren schon das 2.mal da und sicherlich nicht das letzte mal! Alle Mitarbeiter sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit und das Essen ist auch immer sehr sehr lecker! Wir fühlen uns sehr wohl in diesem Haus und werden es sicher weiterhin besuchen, einfach diese schöne Lage & die Ruhe!

Für den Gast ist es sehr "ungünstig", wenn man mit WLan und Sauna auf dem Zimmer wirbt, die Sauna aber im Keller statt im Zimmer ist und das WLan keinen nutzbaren Internetzugang hat. Man konnte nicht mal das Wetter abrufen oder es nutzen, um seinen zu Tag planen. Also digitales Mittelalter. Der Koch kennt den Unterschied zw. Omelette und Rührei nicht und schafft es nicht, ein weichgekochtes Ei zu zaubern. Auch der 2. Versuch schlug fehl. Zudem wirkt die Frühstückskraft permanent überfordert. Das Bett knarzt und man weiß auch, was die Zimmernachbarn obendrüber so machen. Das Abendessen war gut. Das Gespräch zur Rabbatierung der Unterkunftkosten, aufgrund der Mängel bzw. Falschangaben endete mit respektlosen Antworten.

Ein einladender, sauberer und schöner Ort. ÄUSSERST AUFMERKSAME MITARBEITER! Leckeres Abendessen- und Frühstücksrestaurant! Alles perfekt. Ich empfehle es sehr.

Das Jostalstüble liegt auch für unsere Verhältnisse ein ganzes Stück abseits größerer Siedlungen. Es ist die Anreise aber jedes Mal wert. Um die Gäste wird sich liebevoll und aufmerksam gekümmert und die Speisen sind wirklich köstlich. Über den Hotelteil kann ich leider nichts sagen, weil wir nur ca. 30km entfernt wohnen.

Was es alles für schöne Orte gibt. Tolles Hotel und unbedingt einen Ausflug wert. Sehr gutes Essen im Restaurant und eine unterhaltsame Bedienung. Kann so manche Bewertung nicht ganz nachvollziehen! Unbedingt zu empfehlen, da kann man schon mal gewesen sein 😀

Wir haben am Samstagabend mit über 20 Personen hier das Nachtessen eingenommen. Zur Vorbereitung des Hauses haben wir unsere Bestellung gemäss Menu Karte schon im Voraus abgegeben. Sie wussten also was wir bestellt haben. Alles hat reibungslos geklappt. Essen heiss und gut serviert. Die Küche ist zu loben und er Service war schon etwas nervös. Aber alles hat zum Besen geklappt. Hier kann man gut absteigen.

In an unusual time for dinner (17:00) we arrived without reservation. The restaurant took us in. The service was kind and quick. We are vegan - and the vegan dishes where wonderful the vegan carrot soup with coconut milk was delicious and delicate. The vegan spaghetti Bolognese was very good. Highly recommended for every vegan and vegetarian.

Great hosts, location, views, food and rooms! We have had an amazing time at this hotel! Yes the WiFi is slow, but that is the case in the whole area. It’s authentic and feels cozy. It’s clean! Welcoming and yummy. I am definitely coming back!!!!

Jostalstueble sits in a beautiful valley and has outside seating, allowing one to enjoy the setting. Clear positive, though the weather was unkind when we were there and inside was the only possibility. The decor inside is a little worn, but still serviceable. The menu is very typical Black Forest and the items we tried were done quite well and were fresh. Wait staff were friendly enough and helpful. Nothing negative to say, but we were left with the conclusion that there are better options in the region, serving similar food. Having said that, you will certainly get a good meal here.

Very positive experience, after playing first a round of kegeln (art of old bowling) in the basement. All foif was ery goid, especially the chateau briant. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, and the atmosphere was great. I will coms back here!

I had a deer steak and my wife had the rump steak, both were very good. I recommend for anyone staying in the area! Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere as well.

Traditional fare done well. We chose the three course menu of the day which did not disappoint. Yummy potato soup, slow cooked beef and potatoes followed by a nice rhubarb dessert. Luckily we like potatoes! It is in the middle of no where but that doesn’t stop people eating there. I think this was the best meal we ate in the Black Forest region.

Seriously the BEST Spätzle we have ever had. I have no idea what they put on it but it was delicious. It looked plain, but it was so fresh & so good. The rest of the food was great too. We had Schwein medallions, Jägerschnitzel, Schnitzel, Kartoffelsuppe, Zwiebeln Suppe, and a great salad bar! Portions are SO big! We are about half of what we ordered and brought it back to our room. Not too expensive-especially for the quality & portion size! Also, they brought out a local specialty Fleisch Salat ...I was wary at first as Fleisch Salat isn’t normally my thing-it was so tasty! Worth the short drive out there, service was lovely, and food was great! Looked like a super cute hotel too.

Based on TA rating we went to have dinner in this restaurant and weren't disappointed. The summer salad is soooo fresh and full of taste, my trout was perfectly fried in butter with boiled potatoes a perfect match. My dearest had pork loin which was perfectly grilled and tender. The Black Forest cake was the weak spot of the dinner If the owners would put some fans inside to ventilate it would be much nicer...

Bern there with my family. As we arrived a bus stopped there and The people that went there were very noisy. The service was not welcoming and we didn't like the food. My wife ordered a salmon fillet and ig was horrible. We told the waitress that we didn't like it and she charged us allthough we didn't touch it.When I asked why she told us she has nothing to do with it. Not recommended restaurant at all.

We booked a table for Saturday evening at 7pm and arrived on time. After taking a few pics outside of the stunning facade we went inside and were seated at a fairly large table. The interior was just as stunning as the outside being a traditional mountain Gasthof. The place was quite busy with a lot of families dining and had a homely feel to it which was good. The waiter greeted us and gave us menus etc but then rushed off being obviously very busy. After around 30mins we began to feel a bit neglected as we had not been offered any drinks and could not seem to attract any attention from the waiter. Just as we were contemplating leaving he appeared & asked if we were ready to order? We said yes but would also like some drinks too! Another 10 mins later the drinks arrived followed shortly after by our starters. The wild garlic soup was excellent! Between the five of us we tried the venison, pork, salmon, steak & chicken curry German style! To sum up, the food was superb but let down by poor service. Ok the place was busy but we should have been offered drinks upon being seated. Would definitely go back but maybe in the week rather than weekend. Also, just a reminder that like a lot of the other restaurants/Gasthof's in the area they are closed on Mondays.

Typical local cuisine well prepared. Wiener Schnitzel prepared correctly using veal, various other veal dishes, good soups and desserts. The service was very pleasant and the kitchen serves hot food all day. Scenic location includes a small Hotel. Easy and free parking.

We went here 7 adults and 5 kids. The place has an excellent local and seasonal kitchen. The service was very efficient, precise and polite. The only point i was disappointed about was the interior. I would need some refresh. Highly recommended for good food. PS: do not order too much courses! The portions are huge!
