Very good restaurant. Nice surprise in Freiburg!

Indian King Curry offers an unforgettable experience with authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine. The Butter Chicken is outstanding – tender chicken in a creamy, perfectly seasoned tomato sauce. Every bite is a delight! The refreshing Mango Lassi, a velvety, not too sweet mixture of ripe mangoes, goes well with it, ideal as an accompaniment. Together they make a fantastic meal. Highly recommended for Indian cuisine lovers!

Chef Narendra made a delicious Home style Aloo mater , Dal tadka , Jeera rice . Feel like having food at home … must visit and tell your requirements he will prepared. Taste Better then Royal Punjab

Normally I do not give 1 star to any restaurant but truly speaking, if possible I would have given rating in negative. It has worst food. I orders chicken biryani, lamb curry which was kept more than 24hours because it was smelling bad and taste was like it is rotten a bit. I had stomach pain next day. Service was the worst. Owner was some girl or lady over phone who left restaurant but the staff literally humiliated me with some of his friend. I will never see this hotel in my life. If possible I would have complained about this restaurant but I think that is also waste of my time. Please please never ever visit this restaurant. You can visit other indian restaurants like punjabi or jaipur or any indian or Asian restaurant. Hope this restaurant will improve its food and atleast stop humiliating its customer. I am not expecting any respect here. -1 rating from my side

The two of us ordered Chicken Vindaloo, Bengen Ghost and a Paneer Burger. Everything was ok, the food was delicious. Authentic Indian food. Very good card. Unfortunately a bit low for the price, but the quality is completely okay. We came from the tennis court and ordered before leaving. Delivery was supposed to take another 30 minutes and then came early. It was after 10:30 p.m. and we were still assured that we would wait outside the door. The food was still hot, the pieces of meat were very large/coarse and, despite the generally smaller portion, not too little in proportion. Often you just get sauce and have to search. The paneer burger was lavishly topped, which the bun couldn't do. It was a little bit apart but was very tasty. Fresh vegetables on it. Top. The rice was very tasty. We really like to eat Asian food and lots of rice, according to our needs. To make matters worse, something didn't work with the credit card payment via Lieferando and we had just the last cent of the amount in cash. It's a shame, we would have loved to tip. Everyone was very understanding and we were told it wouldn't be a problem if we couldn't pay for delivery. Of course we would have transferred. I found the interaction very cordial, but I had never been to the restaurant before. I would be happy to order here again. Of the restaurants that have delivered to us the best experience so far. As an impulse, I would just adjust the portions.

The food was delicious, especially the sauces and chicken. It arrived on time and hot.

Not recommendable!!!! The good reviews on Lieferando etc... are written by family members so be careful!! There are much better Indian restaurants :)

I'm horrified!!!!! We hiked 45 minutes through the cold of the city of Freiburg to dine at this restaurant. We couldn't eat, but we were brazenly rejected!😳😳 And now comes the best part: the restaurant was empty, every table was free. When we asked why we weren't allowed to sit down, we were told that only take-away was possible. Someone should explain it to you now! In my time, something like this would not have been possible at all.🫢 Give this place a wide berth!!!! The service is also very mean!!!! NEVER AGAIN But I would still recommend take-away if that's the plan, because the food looked extremely good.😀😎

Authentic and very tasty Indian food.

Das Essen war ganz gut, es gibt allerdings bessere indische Restaurants. Das Restaurant selbst fand ich ungemütlich. Raum war nicht beheizt und wir haben gefroren.

Lieferando Bestellung war nach 35 min da. Die beiden Currys waren für lieferdienst Verhältnisse schön heiß 🔥. Im Mango Curry haben die Mangos leider gefehlt ,auch die Gemüse Bällchen waren im Curry sehr durchweicht. Eine Packung Reis hätte vollkommen gereicht ,man bekommt 1zu 1 Reis /Curry Ansonsten hat alles frisch gekocht geschmeckt die einzelnen Gewürze wie Ingwer Kardamon etc. konnte man gut rausschmecken.wir sind satt geworden.geliefert ist halt nicht im Restaurant gegessen …

Das Essen (Lamm Mango) kam 20 min. vor angekündigter Lieferung (60 min.) an, war sehr heiß und schmeckte mega lecker! Die Portionen waren sehr üppig, wir schaffte bei weitem nicht alles und haben morgen noch etwas davon. Wir können dieses Lokal absolut weiterempfehlen und werden auf jeden Fall wieder dort bestellen bzw. hingehen. 5 wohlverdiente Sterne!

Das Essen war frisch zubereitet, äußerst gut gekocht und delikat gewürzt, insgesamt sehr lecker. In Freiburg sehr zu empfehlen, wir werden wieder bestellen.

Ich habe im.lokal chole bature probiert es war 1. Sehr viel und hat original wie in Indien geschmeckt. Die Bedienung sehr nett und höflich. Sehr sehr schönes Ambiente. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen da zu essen. Immer wieder gerne👍

Leckeres, vielseitiges Essen, besonders auch für eine „vegetarische“ Familie.

Ich war zwei Mal im Local. Das Essen ist lecker, allerdings hat der Reis nicht gereicht. Und am ersten Mal Lassi fur fast 5 Euro warin einer winzige Schale serviert. Auf Anfrage habe ich Den Nachschub ohne Aufpreis bekommen.

Wir haben Essen bestellt, aber leider war es sehr wenig für den Preis. Der Nachtisch war leider nicht zu empfehlen und das Naan-Brot war ziemlich fad. Mein Kumpel hat sich dazu noch den Magen verdorben.

wir haben take away bestellt und waren einmal zu fünft im restaurant. alle bestellten gerichte waren sehr fein und sehr würzig bis gut scharf. mich hat es sehr an gerichte in asien erinnert, sehr originalgetreu, traditionell und fein. preislich eher höher, aber angebracht. Wir fanden es alle lecker, die familie sehr freundlich und werden es gerne weiter empfehlen und wieder kommen.

Waren bereits mehrmals dort und können das Restaurant sehr empfehlen. Essen war immer sehr gut und die Bedienung äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Ich habe ein menu für zwei person bestellt. Das essen war viel und sehr lecker.

Zurückhaltende (schüchterne) Bedienung. Auswahl an Gerichten, Qualität, Geschmack sind dem Standard entsprechend gut. Die Preise sind leicht zu hoch. Insgesamt bewerte ich mit "Mittelmaß".

Lieferzeit: Anstatt wie angegeben 60 Minuten war es nach 35 Minuten geliefert, sensationell. Essen: mit Abstand das beste was uns jemals geliefert wurde! Es war heiß, nicht warm und das bei -5°C, geschmacklich super! Service: freundlich und unkompliziert, Essen genial verpackt. Genau so wünsche ich mir Essen bestellen, Danke!

Had Sat Lunch - new place; the ramp-up is still on the go. The food makes you feel that it's been a running restaurant for quite some time, as it's delicious and authentic. The staff is awesome!!!
