A very nice meal. Friendly service. I have eaten Curry in a lot of Indian Restaurants in many different countries. This is not the best I have ever eaten but it's certainly close.

Very good Indian food! Fast, prompt, courteous service greets you when you walk in. We had mixed vegetable curry, samosa chaat, and samosa. All were excellent. Highly recommended if you’re in Garmisch.

Great Indian restaurant in the heart of Mittenwald. They offer German and English menus. Our server spoke English as well. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We ordered the Chana chat, papadam, samosas, and mixed vegetable curry. Highly recommend!

We visited here twice during our Mittenwald vacation, and it was fantastic both times. Authentic Indian dishes – excellent taste and perfectly adequate portions, all at very reasonable prices and with very attentive service.

We were craving Indian food during our trip, and Indian Grill didn’t disappoint. The owner is funny, welcoming, and very enterprising. He made sure to adjust the dishes perfectly to our preferred level of Indian spice and heat. To finish off, he even served us a strong, flavorful khadak chai, which was just what I needed to recharge for the next leg of our drive.

Indian restaurant. We ordered chicken biryani, masala, chapati bread, naan, and salad. All the food is delicious and is located in Metafield Village, a very beautiful village.

I've traveled a lot, especially in Asia, and passed countless Indian neighborhoods and ate Indian food – but this was actually the best Indian food for my taste. Especially the naan: by far the best I've ever eaten. Thank you!

I didn't see any Arabic comments, so I decided to try it and take a risk. Here's my experience in brief: The biryani is plain, just rice and yellow color. The masala is good, but not wow. It comes with white rice, which is tasteless. The naan is bad, worse than bad. An Indian restaurant, just a name. I wouldn't recommend it; there are better ones.

As always in such places, the food was delicious and plentiful. There was a huge selection. The service was fast, but you had to wait a while because there were so many customers. While you wait, you get some bread and sauces. They have local beer. Prices are moderate, even cheap for Mittenwald.

The restaurant is ok. We ordered Chai, Papdi Chat, Dal Tadka, Shahi Paneer and Channa Masala with Naan, Lacha Paratha and Aloo Paratha. It tasted ok. The waiter was trying to be funny but turned out to be a bit annoying. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant unless you can’t find any other place. Not worth the money.

Very nice Indian restaurant at the heart of Mittenwald. Great food and amazing service. Compared to many Indian restaurants in Germany here you will find authentic Indian taste. We tried two two Biriyanis and two rice dishes with Lassie and Chai Masala. Everything was up to the mark. Highly recommended.. !!

I really enjoy eating here. The service is 11/10 (excellent). The ambiance is okay too. What really bothers me, however, is that the meat portions are very small. They're stretched with potatoes that aren't on the menu. So for 15 to 20 euros you don't even get 100 grams of small pieces of meat, but there are a few really fatty potatoes mixed in to fill the pot. I've eaten here many times and it always was and still is. Especially in Mittenwald it can't be that difficult to get fresh lamb, for example, for little money; EVERYONE here has sheep. If that changes, 5/5 everywhere, 3/5 for me. Because in a restaurant it's mainly about the food and not the rest.

Was there on a Saturday evening, the service was absolutely friendly and accommodating. The food was fresh and special requests were fulfilled. The taste is great and the portion size is sufficient. The waiting time until the food was ready was absolutely reasonable… A greeting from the kitchen is served in advance with various dips. Conclusion: value for money: great I'd love to come back.

I don't know from where to start. We visited the restuarant today for a quick snack break and the experience was totally wonderful. The first thing that catches the eyes are both the exterior and the interior of the restaurant. When the outside is decorated with the historical mural/ fresco paintings, the inside is a fresh breeze from India. Neat and clean and tastefully decorated. The Papdi Chaat and Samosas were vesy tasty. The tastiest and most fresh Samosa I have ever eaten in Europe. The Chai was the best. They didn't charge us for the Chai. Very well behaved, caring staffs. Unfortunately we couldn't stay for dinner as we had to start our return journey to Frankfurt. Visiting again in Easter or Summer for sure. ❤️❤️❤️

We had a lovely evening here with delicious food. We had a tandoori specialty with spinach and ginger, a delicious curry and butter chicken. Plus rice and naan. Everything fresh and very tasty. The mango lassi was also super tasty. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the service is courteous and friendly.

An Indian restaurant that doesn't accept Indians. They accepted a German without a reservation, but not me. Answer: Easy for you to do. When I came in, there was a German or European in front of me. He asked the waiters if I could sit here, and the waiters said okay. No question, just okay. So when I asked, they asked me about the reservation and clarified that a reservation was necessary. That was completely cruel and unethical of you. It's completely clear that you only serve German or European people. It's strange that you want to hide that. In any case, I would never do that with you, and I'm also posting this on social media.

Today, my family and I had our first Indian dining experience. Even though the exterior may not be immediately inviting and seems a bit dark, this is an excellent place. From the pleasant welcome to the very attentive (not pushy) waiters, you can feel the service spirit everywhere. The food was delicious and pleasantly seasoned. The portions served were generous and left no one hungry. We will definitely come back during our vacation.

The food was surprisingly super delicious and authentic for an alpine town in Bavaria. The staffs were friendly and attentive. We had garlic Nan, mutton Rogan Josh, dal makhni and chicken saag and all of the dishes were super good.

We ate here three times in a week, and everything was excellent. The wait staff is very friendly and Ali is the best. When you are in Mittenwald and get tired of eating German food, this is the best place to go. It’s actually some of the best Indian food we’ve ever eaten anywhere.

I am from the USA and have traveled relatively extensively and this is the best Indian food I have found in the Western Hemisphere. Immaculate, amazing all around. I highly suggest the Samosas, Garlic Naan, and Chicken Tikki Masala.

There were three of us there today and we had Chana Masala, Mango Chicken and Bhindi Ghost. Plus garlic naan. You always got the rice for free, the food was very tasty, our 6 year old also really enjoyed it. There were also 2 schnapps and a mango cream on the house. The waiters were very attentive and friendly. We would come here again and again.

I ate shrimp biryani with them and it was beautiful. I visited it on September 16, 2024, and the weather was rainy and cold. My friend ate with Peter Chicken from them, but of course it does not compare to the restaurants we have, but that is the case.

We went there spontaneously for lunch yesterday when we were in Mittenwald for a day trip. The waitresses were very nice and accommodating, the food came quickly and was super tasty, the lamb was very tender, the sauce had a very slight spiciness and you could taste the delicious herbs and spices. Pappdam, naan and the dips were super tasty. The prices are moderate. We'll definitely be back!

Well Well Well, I did Not expect to find a good Indian Restaurant in a small town Like Mittenwald. The food is authentic and tastes great. Exactly what I would want from an Indian Restaurant. The service is super Kind and even though that one Guy is Not the best at small Talk ;) He Sure Likes to do it. If you Like Indian food then this is the place. No questions asked. They also do Take away If you fancy eating at Home.
