Amazing india food, very authentic. Better than any other indian i tried in europe. Mango lassi is amazing. We tried tawa panner and bindi masala with Garlic naan and omg we were amazed with the taste. Must try if you are in Mittenwald. Parking options available near by. Also a good area to walk around town and street shopping.

Extremely attentive and respectful service. You feel welcome here. The two different duck dishes were really a delight and beforehand there was Indian bread with 3 different sauces as a free bonus. My first time eating Indian food, I was so impressed that we went back to his place days later. Very tasty food, quick service, very friendly. Inviting atmosphere! Unfortunately the holiday is almost over, otherwise we would be regular guests! Thanks!

The food is really delicious and the price-performance ratio is great. Be sure to order the Garlic Nan for just €3.50. The service was very attentive and regularly asked if we were missing anything or if we would like some free rice. We'd love to come back.

The food was delicious, but the service was annoying. Yes, the waiters were nice, but they came every few minutes and asked if everything was OK, so you couldn't eat in peace. Moreover, one of the waiters kept blowing his nose instead of blowing it, which was very distasteful. What else really irritated me were the flies that landed on every dish, I had to keep swatting them away and even though the food wasn't bad, it still left a bad taste.

We had dinner there. We asked the cellar for a lunch menu and he told us yes we still had lunch. But he still gave us ale cards.  Then I spoke to him again.  Then he put it out there.  I ordered chilli panner. The portions were very small for the price. The taste of the food itself has nothing to do with Indian.

Amazing food and amazing people running the restaurant. Do not miss out on the chicken tikka and tandoori it was just lip smacking good, something you only find in a good Desi restaurant. In veg, do not miss out on veg kadhai/ mix veg. The restaurant manager there was so kind, along with the bar tender, kept on offering us things like onion, lemon, chillies, papad, tea and dint even charge for this, ofcourse we made sure to tip. We enjoyed the food, and the hospitality. Its just the cutest little place with the best possible Desi food you can ask for in such a small town and very reasonably priced. I would definitely return for a chicken tandoori & tikka next time.

Went there for dinner today with my daughter. After initially doubting whether it was right for our taste and it was quite crowded outside, we were ultimately very pleasantly surprised!!! I accidentally knocked over my drink - in no time the table was re-set and the boss? even had kind words left! There was no feeling that the waitresses were in any way annoyed or stressed.... We had to wait a little, but the food came to the table very fresh and appetizing! As an apology, my daughter was given the very tasty mango cream with vanilla ice cream at the end (due to the waiting time). When it came to the bill, the boss insisted that I only pay for 1 drink, as the drink I knocked over was my own fault... That's how I imagine "eating out" in this day and age! Very pleasant staff, attentive and despite the waiting time (should be a topic), a satisfied feeling when saying goodbye... even then they took time for 2.3 personal words... CONCLUSION: 6 STARS!!! This was my 2nd visit to this restaurant and this time was a huge disappointment. Positive: Dal Makhnni Negatives: - pakoras were not great. - Got us wrong order for bread (naan instead of roti) - Charged us a higher amount than in the menu for 2 items!- This was unprofessional. - Only accept Girocard and cash (no mastercard or visa)

Enjoyed a wonderful meal of Amritsari Jheenga (prawns) and Chicken Tika. We were seated immediately by the lovely hostess and greeted by the restaurant manager. We ordered pappadum and the 3 sauces were distinctive and flavorful. The restaurant was beautiful and comfortable. Food was prepared quickly and expertly by the chef. The manager checked with us during the meal to be sure that we were pleased, which we were. We highly recommend this lovely restaurant for its food and its ambiance.

First of all, this restaurant opens after 8pm so if you are arriving this town hungrily, come here! The owner is very friendly, and the atmosphere is quite nice. Just the food is not that good. We ordered vegetable parantha and it was tasty. But it was very soft so might not be freshly made. We also ordered grill mix, except one small lamb, everything else are just chicken! It is ridiculous for 22.9 euro. Also the meat is not fresh……

A colorful Indian restaurant with a view of the mountains, brightly decorated. The food is very tasty, you can ask to cook it not spicy. Lamb, soup, mango chicken fillet are delicious, but the fried curd balls dessert is too fatty and sweet, it floats in syrup.

A must visit place especially if you want to enjoy India level hospitality overseas. The owner is all smiles right from your entry to exit. The food we ordered was specially asked to be spicy and it was what I was looking for. The Naan was very good in quantity with quality. I haven't come across any restaurant which gave us Naan in this good quantity. Also the rice which is complimentary was enough for 2 people. The tea which we ordered to calm ourselves after strolling in the windy -6 temperature was also tasty. A must visit destination when you are in Mittenwald.

Indische Restaurant is on point and the staff is very welcoming. Highly recommend you visit and order the Hariyali Chicken Tikka , I think it’s what is called. So good! My kids call it hulk chicken because it’s green and the flavor is smashing! Definitely haven’t had that in other Indian restaurants I’ve been to. Every curry we ordered was fresh and flavorful like curry should be. The butter chicken just hits your soul. To the staff and waiter with the kind smile, thank you for the lovely and memorable dinning experience. We will be back soon.

A gem in the middle of Mittenwald for Indian cuisine lovers. The owner was one of the sweetest people I have met. We were already full and decided to stick to starters only, but Mr. Dosai additionally brought us tea on the house. The appetizers were delicious. And so was the Mango Lassi. Visiting again for sure. A huge appreciation for the interior decor too!

Wir waren innerhalb von 24 Stunden zweimal dort und jedesmal begeistert vom Service, dem Essen und dem Ambiente. Schade, dass wir zu weit entfernt wohnen um öfters das gute Essen zu genießen . Der Chef ist sehr gastfreundlich und man fühlt sich sofort willkommen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, gut abgeschmeckt und nicht zu scharf.Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich kann das Restaurant IndianGrill von ganzem Herzen empfehlen. Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend (alle Speisen sind ausnahmslos lecker), der Service ist immer kundenorientiert und liebevoll. Das Preis-/leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar. Wir gehen immer wieder gerne hin und nehmen hierfür auch gerne ein bisschen Anfahrtszeit in Kauf.

After many days living in German I was craving for the Indian dish but the food of other restaurants were not having the taste like Indian food . But on my friend's birthday party we went in Indian grill for dinner the taste was fabulous and just like the dishes back in India . I would extremely recommend it for a tipical traditional Indian dinner. The decorative and all show piece remind me of India I am grateful for the tasty and heart whelming food .Would recommend for family dinner . Thanks for reading.

Very much impressed with the food and the service. They were very amiable. The ambience is too peaceful and soothing. The food is exceptional. Bhindi Ghost and Mutton Rogan Josh were my favourite. The lamb was tender and really well cooked. Tried for the first time and left speechless. The spice levels were perfect, tailor made to suit your taste.

A delectable serving of North Indian food. Amazing service as well. Absolutely recommended to try the place! We had the mixed paratha , kofta sabji and mixed vegetable curry and totally loved it! We walked out feeling full!
