The restaurant, which is both modern and charmingly rustic, is staffed by a young, very polite, and friendly team who are happy to forgive the occasional minor mistake, as their efforts to be quick and always on hand are truly impressive. Burgers are always delicious and offer a good variety. Unfortunately, the portions are getting smaller and smaller, and the price-performance ratio is no longer really right, especially for the fries.

Better than any restaurant I've ever been to! The food is amazing, I highly recommend the truffle fries and the Grazie Pistachio for dessert. The cocktails are also incredibly delicious! We'll be back, preferably every week.

Great food and reasonably priced... the staff are friendly and helpful. I wanted to eat my hamburger outside, but outdoor dining is no longer permitted. The tables are now only for smoking 🥺

Delicious burgers 🍔 and everything that goes with them. Vegan options are also no problem. Great service and a very relaxed atmosphere. Many families with children (which is very good) enjoy the delicious food here. We had a lovely evening.

Price performance is now simply bad

Here you'll find burgers that really taste good: juicy meat, fresh ingredients, and great cocktails. The sweet potato fries are also delicious as a side dish, nice and crispy and slightly sweet. The cozy ambiance with lots of wood and greenery is a perfect match.

We ate here for lunch on Friday. Clean shop, super friendly service, who also helpfully explained the menu to us, we felt at home. It's great to be able to change patties without having to pay extra. Always happy to come back!

Great service, they recommended two burgers to us. The Smashburger was very tasty, but the Alsatian could have tasted more like Cambert. It's a shame that after the menu change, they no longer offer a pound of fries that you can order together. :( The dragon fruit, guava, and lime thirst quencher was incredibly delicious! We came to the restaurant spontaneously and were seated right away. Delicious food, good drinks, and a wide selection. My only criticism: The portion of fries could have been a bit larger, in my opinion. Great service, especially from Kim: Unfortunately, the grill broke down during our visit. We had already ordered our food. The waitress approached us, informed us of the change, apologized, and offered us the opportunity to order something else. We did, and received excellent advice on our choice. To our surprise, as compensation for the inconvenience, we were given a free dessert per person – we were very pleased with this gesture. I have rarely experienced such an extremely friendly and attentive waitress before – thank you!

The food was very good. However, if you sit outside, you get attacked by wasps, which, of course, is beyond the owner's control. We ordered a set menu that included hot drinks. In the end, we had to pay extra for the drinks. The place really needs to get a grip on billing.

I'm disappointed. The service was abysmal! When you ask for the bill and are served, you don't get what you ordered, and the bill is incorrect! If we hadn't asked for the bill again, we wouldn't have realized we'd overpaid! The food is okay. The cocktails could use a little more attention: Please mix the mojito properly, and the Aperol Sour could use more attention to presentation.

The burgers taste good, but the prices are incredibly overpriced, not to mention a real antisocial rip-off. The service staff is friendly but pretty overwhelmed. 90 euros for three burger meals... is that even possible???

Hans Im Glück is always a solid place to go, where you get exactly what you expect. It's a chain, so don't expect a charming little restaurant. The quality of the food is consistently good, but don't expect a 3-star menu. You simply get exactly what it says on the tin, and it's good quality and good value for money. The large vegan selection is particularly great, and so is the fact that it's constantly being improved. The Zeitgeist, Knusperschote, and Erbsenprinzessin burgers are highly recommended, as are the cauliflower wings. The only minor criticism is the volume of the music. And when it's quiet, it would be nice if two people could sit at a table for four, as the tables are quite small and the group tables are more cozy.

I was quite disappointed. No comparison to Peter Pane. Very long wait. The burgers are also far below Peter Pane in terms of taste. The seating is very cramped and uncomfortable.

The Hans im Glück restaurant in HD seems to no longer feel the need to serve its customers even halfway decently. The three of us wanted to eat there; there were plenty of free tables, all of which were supposedly reserved. We left. It's a shame, because luckily, I've always found Hans's food to be good and tasty.

Was expecting more from the food. Instead of a bowl, I literally got a salad. I can’t name that a bowl. Was not tasty at all. It was very hot! I can’t understand what is the problem to turn on the ac. Half of the area was closed, so you’re not able to sit where you want. Asked for children chair and I was shocked how dirty it was. I tried to wipe it by myself at least, but that was not possible. The WC was very dirty as well.

I've been sitting outside the restaurant for 20 minutes now, and so far, no one has come to serve me. Another couple arrived 15 minutes ago, they just got up and left. I went in briefly, and no one paid me any attention. It's not particularly busy inside either. I'm pretty disappointed; I would have liked something to eat. Edit: I went back inside to let them know that I've been sitting there for 20 minutes, and another couple has left in the meantime. There's a young, dark-haired man behind the counter who practically yells at me that the outside area is closed. I wanted to know why they didn't let me know. The response was, "Outside is closed." The tables outside were set, and nothing was locked. So, it looked open, which is how the couple felt, too (plants and ashtrays were on the tables). Contrary to the young man's statement, the benches weren't wet either. Instead of offering me a seat inside, he said in a snippy tone, "Have a nice day." I'm really angry and simply stunned. I'll never eat there again! That's definitely not the way to treat guests.

Delicious burgers at a fair price. We were really pleasantly surprised by the burgers. There are many options (almost too many), and there's something for everyone. Our only criticism was the cleanliness of the restaurant. There's a lot of room for improvement here.

After the negative reviews, we were skeptical and gave the place a try. The food was okay. The burger was fine, the fries weren't. The fries with cheese sauce had hardly any cheese. However, they (presumably) included bacon bits, which weren't listed as an ingredient on the menu. So, not recommended for vegetarians. After I wanted to pay, instead of bringing the bill, the waiter (continued to) prepare a table inside that had been vacated long before and clearly didn't need to be available again immediately, as the restaurant was almost completely empty. I found this extremely unreasonable, as I obviously had to wait an unnecessarily long time. The price was definitely on the high side: €30 per person for a burger, a small side dish, and a drink. My friend said three stars is too much.

Good and tasty for young burger lovers, especially because of the large selection of non-meat patties. But the portion is far too small for the target audience – it won't be cheap, dear parents...😉

The ambiance is relatively simple; sometimes I missed the backrests on the benches to lean back on. But everything else was excellent. The service was very friendly!

It was the first time in a few years that I was back at Hans im Glück. The portions are smaller, the prices are higher and the food is less tasty than it was back then. For €22 you get a relatively small, mediocre tasting burger, a tiny portion of fries and a drink. At other burger shops I eat much tastier food for the same money. I cannot recommend the restaurant.

Our waiter was very personable, friendly, accommodating. We had a small problem and it was fixed immediately. Food top as always. Thank you very much and remember: “Laughter is healthy”. 😉

Very nice restaurant with stylish furnishings. The food was excellent and with the cocktail cubes that are available on Fridays, we paid 11 euros for two mojitos. Highly recommended!

The price-performance ratio is simply not right. Burger with lukewarm cheese and bun, unfortunately disappointing. The chairs are also uncomfortable. There are better burger restaurants in Heidelberg :)

Today I was at “Hans im Glück” for the first and last time. I ordered a classic burger and a lemonade using the QR code attached to the table. The lemonade came quickly and the orange lemonade didn't taste like orange but rather like watered down lemon. The classic burger was put together very carelessly, the bun was not toasted but cold. There was also an onion ring on the burger - I would have expected a lot more, especially based on the pictures. The taste was ok - no impact but you could eat it. Then I tried to call the service to pay using the corresponding function on the order page. The first time at 8:01 p.m., at 8:10 p.m. and now it's 8:24 p.m. and nothing happens. If you offer a service like this, you should also make sure that it works and is processed. There has also been no inquiry so far as to whether I would like to order anything else or not. Pleasant and friendly gastronomy is different. The ambience is ok - but the music is way too loud in my opinion. After 25 minutes of waiting, I spoke to a service person about the payment process - now I can finally go.
