It's incredibly nice here. The service is fantastic. I was brought the wrong burger, but it was corrected without hesitation. And considering it was already packed, we (two people) got our food really quickly. And it's simply delicious.

Very tasty, reasonably priced burgers that aren't too heavy either. One very friendly waitress has to keep everything going outside because another would rather chat with her friends than serve them.

We had been to this chain before. This time it was less. We made a mistake with the menu and would have preferred the same burger on its own. Unfortunately, the menu could no longer be changed after a few seconds. So too bad. We didn't get our same burgers right away. There was almost 10 minutes in between? The burgers were fried too long, so hard and dry. I finished it, but my wife couldn't finish it. The waitress asked point blank how the burgers were. She said she would pass it on, but that was it. The staff wasn't very friendly either. So, no more for us here for a while.

Worst customer service ever. We waited 20 minutes just to get the menu! When we finally asked, the staff yelled at us that they were "busy" – on a Tuesday night, even though the place was half empty. Absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional. A waste of time!

Really bad experience with the staff. Waited at least 15 minutes for just getting menus and cleaning of table, in middle of the week and not even a crowded weekend. Then when we asked for menu the waiter shouted at us!! We just left after this unacceptable behavior. Even when we talked to the chief of salon he didn’t care at all, not even a small apology!!!

We wanted to sit down in peace and quiet and politely asked if that was possible. Instead of a normal answer, we were immediately rudely told that it would take a while because they were busy. No problem, we thought, and looked at the menu in the meantime. Shortly afterward, a second employee came over and yelled at us even more harshly, telling us to leave, as the other colleague had already said so. That's simply not how you treat your guests. Even when things are more stressful, you can be friendly and respectful. We managed to do that, even though we were treated that way.

The food used to be much better, but the quality is now comparable to McDonald's. The tables were very sticky. We had to wait over 45 minutes for our food. There was no excuse or justification. I was sitting at the bar and saw the bartender simply sniff a returned drink, then refill it and give it to another customer. The restrooms are unfortunately very dirty and look like they haven't been cleaned in a while. I used to really enjoy going there, but after the downgrade, I won't be going anymore.

Super good Burger restaurant with tasty and juicy burger.

So many delicious vegetarian and vegan options! My favourites being the walnussbratling and the spinat-käse patties. The drinks were delicious and the loaded avocado fries were amazing! Totally recommend for vegetarians and vegans :)

Dishonest place. Before we entered the restaurant we specifically asked if the fries were included with the burger and was told "absolutely yes", so we ordered 2 burgers. The servers are friendly and quickly find a seat if you don't have a reservation. The drinks are good too. Nicely decorated, and the prices are in line with the tourist area of ​​Heidelberg. I've been here a few times with family and friends, including at different locations. And each time, we got enough food and sides to fill us up. We visited this place with the family. There were six of us, including children, and it was a bit crowded, but we managed to get a table and had a great time.

A great burger joint with awesome options across the board. Earlier they didn't have many Vegetarian options but now with a new menu, that problem has been solved. Everyone can find the perfect combination they are looking for. The staff is also helpful and courteous. The location of this specific store is very central and is easily accessible. The only 2 negatives are lack of Parking in the vicinity and the fact that it is expensive. Prepare to shell out quite a bit for your Burger.

The employees take the time to make recommendations and are always in a good mood. But the real star here is of course the food! The selection of burgers is huge and the quality is just right. I particularly liked the “Veggie Burger”, which was absolutely delicious and prepared with a lot of love. The side dishes, especially the fries, are also a delight - crispy, fresh and simply seasoned to perfection. What I also really liked is the diversity of the menu - there is something for every preference, from classic to unusual creations. The portions are generous and the price is completely justified for the quality on offer. Overall, it was a completely successful visit. I can only recommend Hans im Glück Heidelberg to anyone who is looking for a top burger experience in a pleasant atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We were there last Saturday and our experience was mixed. Overall, the food was tasty, but unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. It started with the fact that we had to wait an unreasonably long time before our drinks were even taken. This only happened after we pointed out to another waitress twice that we would like to order. Then a waitress came, but she was very inattentive. She was constantly distracted and had her eyes wandering around the room while ordering and was therefore not focused on the matter. Luckily the food came relatively quickly. Even when paying and giving tips, the waitress was again very distracted. What I also found to be a shame was that all the guests were squeezed into one area of ​​the restaurant instead of being spread out. There would have been enough free tables to seat all guests in a more airy manner. Overall, unfortunately, just a mediocre visit. I would try another burger place next time in hopes of better service.

Unfortunately, today was a disappointing experience, so we ended the visit without eating. We first sat down, then when no one came to serve us, we asked a waiter why no one came. We were then told that the area where we were seated was closed and that we would have to wait outside anyway and then be picked up by the staff. On the way out we passed a free table, so I asked another waiter if we could sit at the table. This waiter also asked us to wait outside, which we did. While we were waiting outside - as ordered and not picked up - a couple walked past us into the restaurant and took a seat straight away - they were promptly served by the waiter who had sent us outside a few minutes before. Simply outrageous behavior, which is why we left the restaurant without eating... Really sad to see such a development... When I was a student, it was much more relaxed and friendly times...

We sat down at a good place and were then sent out again because they had to clean the tables (the tables were already arranged for the next customers). We waited outside for a while, but then another family came and sat down. They were served straight away. We then left because it took unnecessarily long. Furthermore, it is more than just disgraceful to serve people before us who came after us!

The tables were dirty and nothing had been cleared then we wanted to sit at the back because all the tables at the front were dirty and I don't sit down at something like that. The service person comes up and says that the back is closed.....yes then they block it so much as I mentioned that I don't sit at the tables where there are dishes and they are dirty and I don't think that's ok. The service person shits me that he won't serve us and he doesn't need anything like that.... if you're just on your cell phone hangs and doesn't take care of tables, you're still allowed to leave at the end because it's unhygienic... it's still my money that I leave there, so I'd rather leave my money somewhere else and in Frankfurt there's no such behavior at Hans im Glück So hats off to the service staff, you will have losses

We were here for dinner with 5 people and a dog. All of us received exemplary care. Children's menu including a children's cocktail with a small lolly for the little ones, a water bowl for the dog, special requests for the middle one and recommendations and super friendly service for us adults. We really enjoyed everything - an insider tip from the new menu is the beans in tempura batter, which surprised us extremely positively! The toilet was also clean and pleasant. We would come back at any time - clear recommendation! Many thanks to the great team!

We had to wait an hour for our food even though we only had 3 citizens with fries. When the food finally arrived, the fries felt like they were missing. There were 10 small fries on the plate. They cost €5 and weren't even very tasty. Really cheeky! Other people who ate also said it was a rip off! impudence...

Food was super delicious. We ordered a vegan and a vegetarian burger, one with fries and one with a side salad. The burgers were perfect, but the salad was unfortunately very dry. We would have liked more dressing or at least vinegar and oil on the table. I thought it was great that there were sprouts and seeds on the salad. There are also different sauces for the fries on the tables. Staff was friendly, even when it was busy. We were still served quickly. What I didn't like was the seating. You're essentially sitting back to back with a stranger without a backrest, which meant I was bumped into from behind a few times and the other person's jacket was on my seat.

This is a nice restaurant in the centre of the old town. The food is okay, but too pricey for what it is. You will have food options for most people and the seating options are nice.

After asking whether sitting in a nicer place was possible our waiter told us no and „tough luck“ and said that we might as well leave then. Not coming here ever again. And absolutely can‘t recommend.

My first visit to Hans im Glück and probably the last. Okay, they want to be hip. The interior design is probably well received by some people, but of course it is also very cramped. The service was great but you can definitely get cheaper and better food elsewhere.

Food and ambience is awesome; like all of their chains. The service is kind of average i would say. We were here to celebrate my birthday. It was a nice evening with those ambient lights and music. The burgers were juicy and yummy as usual. I did not like my Gin cocktail with basil; because it is supposed to be freshly prepared with smashing and not from the bottled basil drink. All in all it was okay.
