Great location. It was well attended, but we were lucky enough to get a seat straight away. The burgers and loaded fries were all super tasty! The waiting time was a bit longer, but okay. Only card payment is possible here.

The food is great, the staff is friendly, the waiting time is okay and the price-performance ratio is also great. The only thing to complain about is little space and small plates with large portions, hence 4 stars.

The burgers were without lettuce leaves. We ordered four cokes which came without glasses and had to drink from the bottle

One burger was burnt, the service was bad, the requests were not taken into account, when I wanted to return the burger because I didn't want bacon, the waitress brought the burger back and brought a new one, but also charged for the other burger without prior notice give. That's not good customer service. Now they have lost a customer and received a bad review. So please be careful before returning a burger, be prepared to pay full price for it too.

I absolutely cannot understand the good reviews. This has nothing to do with a good burger joint. The meat was partially charred and had hardly any content. A few small lettuce leaves and a pickle should make a burger?? And demand a lot of money for it. Never again!

We were too far there, just after the store opened and there was nothing going on. The deep fryer was broken, so no fries and other things that were fried. That's not a problem in itself, something like that can happen. Since we weren't very hungry yet, a burger was out of the question. So we just ordered something to drink. We were told that just drinking was not welcome and that we should go somewhere else. I've never experienced anything like that. Sales is sales and only 2 tables were occupied. The homemade iced tea was very thin, we've had much better ones in other restaurants.

The food is good. But if you are sitting inside and planning to talk to your friends, you will have to shout across the table because of how loud the music is. We asked one of the servers if they could turn down the music slightly because we couldn't hear each other, he informed us that they are not allowed to do that.

Abdul Ghani delivered with Uber Eats. Unfortunately not good, the man delivered cold food, He refused several times to bring the order up to my door despite my request because his car supposedly wasn't allowed to be downstairs. I asked him to stand in my parking space in front of my garage. Suddenly he came up to me with the scooter helmet on and was very unfriendly. It's a shame, otherwise the food is always great and there were never any problems. Unbelievable

Almost everything is provided for a good burger joint, but the main thing is missing: a good burger. Tasteless meat pie, monotonous taste. Sorry, but this is probably the easiest to fix.

Quite an inconspicuous shop in the old town. Burger was tasty, but the patties were quite dry. I didn't know the steak fries before, but they are definitely worth a try. The service (Klara) was friendly and nice, and also asked questions every now and then - that's how service should be! However, €52.5 for 2 burgers, 2 drinks and a portion of steak fries is pretty decent

There were 9 of us there yesterday, spontaneously, and we got a place straight away, all well and good. Condition was initially very pleasant, despite the fact that I talked for a minute about how I wanted carbonated water and then got a still one and then was stupidly insulted that I would have said still, the service was initially ok. The burger was delicious, there's not much to say about it but the fries??? Fries from Lidl that weren't even remotely warm, and I had a lot more, which was very, very little for €3.50, than other people at the same table. we had plates of 11/12 fries, that's pure bullshit. our pizza crust was literally burnt, so pitch black!!!! Of course we ate, we went there very hungry. We waited a whole 40 minutes for our burgers with Lidl fries, and yes, at the very end, when we were all finished, we were asked if everything WAS OK. where is this good service, price-performance ratio 0/0. Oh and I saw the back and forth with the waiter's head after paying. For the first and last time, I'm very sorry.

Finally managed to stop by there - and I have to say, the burgers are really great. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether they are the “best in town”. I think they are way up there, in the top three! Unusual variants but always with sense and taste! The Angus paddies are amazing, tasty and super juicy! Side dishes also very good. Quantity was just right! Great service, very attentive and super friendly! We will 100% come back soon!

Overpriced joint with mediocre burgers: Burger was 15€ (burger of the month) - meat was well done; I wasn't asked if I wanted it medium, so I assume the burger is only available well done and they are frozen patties like those at McDonalds, only a little thicker (that's exactly how it tasted). Fries and the like all cost extra and with €6 + x + drink you can easily get €25-30/person - without tip. Keep in mind that you don't even get a medium fried patty for it. Furthermore, each topping (e.g. double cheese or jalapenos etc.) costs €1.50. In my opinion there are much better burger restaurants here. In terms of price/performance, I even think BurgerKing or McDonalds are better.

My always go to when visiting heidelberg… but sadly i see a deterioration in the burger quality every time i go. It used to be more juicy and delicious. But nevertheless it is a good burger.

Folks! You have to try this place, some of the most “on point” places for food I’ve been visiting in Heidelberg and maybe in the whole Germany 🇩🇪. All branding is on point and really cool. Food is a 10/10 burger 🍔 super crispy bacon 🥓 and meat on point, juicy but not rare but, crunchy but not roasted… DE-LI-CIOUS-NESS 🫣🫠. Service was super nice and helping even I understand but I speak no German. The terrace is in a very hip and scenic small street in the center of town, I decided to stay outside since it was crazy hot and I wanted to smoke. Best news it’s a Cannabis 🍁 Friendly place since I got there with my joint and the offered me an ashtray!! 👌🏽✨❤️‍🔥💯 which I loved. Not much more to say that the servings are big and I didn’t pay a lot, so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND a visit if you’re in Heidelberg 🍟👌🏽🍔🌶️🥓😻🥰🧀🍁🇩🇪

It was the worst food I've ever had in my life. I had the cheese steak sandwich and it was too much, too much onions in it. I had only a bite and stoped eating. Absolutely Horrible food

The burger and fries were really very good and the ambience is also very nice. We only found one of the waitresses to be very unfriendly (if you don't like your job or your employer, find someone else and don't take it out on the paying guests!). We were also annoyed that there was a sign at the entrance that only accepted card payments and not cash and then you couldn't even pay with American Express. This is still so typical for Germany.

Exceeded all expectations, it was delicious! The taste of the cheeseburgers is reminiscent of those from McDonalds

Very good burger. In terms of taste, it easily keeps up with the big names from Hamburg and Berlin. Nice atmosphere and good beer are also added. I'll be back at the start the next time I visit Heidelberg.

We have a Delicious lunch after a great 1/2 day visiting Heidelberg Castle, this place was very well recommended on instagram and great reviews, well everyone is 100% right, this place is well worth the stop, amazing fresh flavor on the burgers with classic and crazy creative combinations!!! The service is nice and pleasant, we definitely what to come back some day and we recommend it.

“Burger of The Week” in Greek style (€15 without side dishes) by Joe Molese in Heidelberg’s old town. The restaurant was busy, but it ran smoothly. The burger was quite tasty, but the meat was too cooked. But the creative idea for this burger is worth recognizing. Unfortunately, it wasn't easy to eat due to the thick feta cubes and the crumbly bread. And €15 for such a small burger without any side dishes is too much, that's probably the surcharge for the old town. Then cash payments are generally not possible, tips can only be given in 10% increments?! That's not very customer friendly. On the one hand it was nice and good there, but some things were also disappointing.

The Big Joe burger should have been named Bland Joe. It had absolutely no taste and I was not able to make myself finish it under any circumstances. My boyfriend had a different burger, of which I also believe had little to no taste and substance.

Burger was ok. Unfortunately it was completely fried and therefore not juicy. Also relatively expensive in terms of price. Was expecting more. But fries with pulled pork were great.

I ordered burgers and fries to take away. It was quick and the service was friendly. Fries were tasty but heavily salted. Burger was not juicy and not tasty. In my opinion it wasn't worth the price.

The best burger and sandwich restaurant next to Necker riverfront in Heidelberg. Their pulled pork sandwich, mozerlla loaded salad and crunchy chicken burger were just awesome. Ambient settings, promt staff and location make it tourist fav. It's really worth the visit

The burgers are incredibly tasty. But the service is the worse I’ve experienced in my whole life. The ambience is not much better as, if you are not lucky to have one of the 4 tables outside, you just have the option to go inside where they’re blasting music. Where are the managers? Where is the owner? How come such a restaurant can survive like this?

It’s a shame that the staff can get quite aggressive when asked for very simple requests. Apart from that, they could lower the music volume a bit and it might be the best burger spot.

We are always super satisfied and happy after our visits. The food is fantastic and the selection is perfect. There is something for everyone but you won't be overwhelmed with the choice. For us, by far the best burger shop far and wide!

Had the Joe' cheese steak sandwich and a large fries. The sandwich needs more cheese and sauce! The steak tasted delicious, but overall needs more flavour.

We were 5 people group when we visited Joe Molese 117. At first, they told us that we can not sit outside as they can allow maximum of 4 people per table. Then, we went to inside but it was very dark and it smelled horrible. Overall, the place did not seem clean enough to me and the staff was not trying to help us at all. So, I do not recommend this place.

Staff is very rude and inside the place you can not breathe a clean atmosphere because of horrible smell. If you want to go there, disvover other good places in near surrounding

If it's not possible to make a reservation, I'd arrive a little earlier to get something else. Prices are also possible, but you can only pay by card. Still very pleasant there, would come again

Best burger in Heidelberg! Burgers of the week are almost always great and the ambience is great. Drinks selection is great, only milkshakes are missing.

Best burgers in the HD/MA area, and I've actually eaten at almost all of them! The pulled pork is also excellent! The pulled pork fries are the tastiest side dish and a real value for money at 6EUR! Only the atmosphere is a bit cheap and probably appeals more to 20-year-olds.

Were there for the second time today and were totally thrilled. Had burgers and fries. Super good 👍🏼🤤 And the service was even better 👌🌟 it puts you in a good mood straight away. We will be back

Nice burger shop with unfortunately little American flair. Unfortunately, 2 of 2 glasses still have lipstick from the previous woman on them. Only card payment possible. Food was okay, unfortunately there are no desserts on the menu.

Relatively loud sound with German rap/hip-hop makes conversations relatively tiring. So if you want to talk less on your dates: this is exactly the right place. The food (Joe's Burger) was very good, the Bacon Cheese Fries and Onion Rings as Siders Top - the quantity was also great. The service was tried hard and probably in the learning phase. Overall: I would go there again because of the quality of the food.

The not-so-young customers might have a problem with the music selection and its volume.

There are classic burgers, also a few more exotic variants (the waffle, for example, is very tasty but also very powerful) and a changing burger of the week which you can check out on the Instagram page. There are only a few seats and it can happen that you don't get any more space, especially with larger groups. The chairs and tables are very close together, which isn't a bad thing, but it doesn't really add to the ambience. I think that since the burgers are very good, you should get the food to take away and then eat it on a bench nearby. Uber Eats delivers all over Heidelberg, but it tastes better fresh.

The cheese burger is incredible and highly recommended! The waffle burger with some extra tomato and lettuce (otherwise it would be a desert) was also a interesting pairing with the peanut butter. Friendly service and some creative burger inspired artwork.

Unfortunately that wasn't the case this time. Unfortunately, we were served burgers with cold patties on both Brugers that we ordered. The cheese on top was almost completely cooled down. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't convincing either. In addition, the store was just cold, even with a jacket. It wasn't a good experience we had there today. But the fries were good and hot, which is why we get one star. The service was also good, but second. Wouldn't come again in the near future.
