Buddy‘s in Heidelberg

The food we ordered (Boss Burger) was part of a larger delivery. This was delivered quickly via Uber Eats. I haven't eaten anything worse in terms of taste in a long time. Burger patty was very dry and salty/sour. The watery sauce on the burger didn't help. The fries that came with it had a good consistency, but tasted like they had from the night before - seemed like they had been warmed up again. But you can get it down with ketchup. Others who ordered a burger combo discarded the fries. The quantity was okay for 15 euros and the food arrived warm. I have to advise against the burgers. I can't say whether the other dishes were better.

Very nice, cozy beer garden that invites you to linger. Food was very appealing and very tasty.

Great food and friendly staff. Home made fries, chicken wings and salad dressing! The burger tastes great, flammkuchen as well. You can also play a game or two of nine pin bowling, but remember to bring own sport shoes.

We sat in the beer garden. Has developed great. Looks great.

Were forgotten and then not treated well on site. Had to wait as long on site as if we had ordered home while other orders went out next to us. It wasn't worth picking up.

Really excellent food. Ate Thai curry and salad with Argentinian beef, wonderful. Service was quick, friendly and accommodating. It's hard to believe that you can eat so well at a bowling casino. We sat in the guest garden, it was nice. Inside the bowling casino there is more of a sports bar atmosphere.

Citizens didn't have good taste, employees were very inflexible - they didn't speak German!

The location is a bowling alley with a catering offering, but is primarily geared towards a delivery service. Somewhat better fast food, but that's about it.

Went there for a burger it was really good. The patty was a little salty but I would say they have the best burgers in Heidelberg. The price is great the the portions are big.

Serving guys are very kind and burger is great. The price is reasonable. Beer is not impressive much but not bad.

We were there with friends for dinner and then bowling. The service was very impersonal and people were served in jogging pants, which in my opinion doesn't have to be the case in a sports restaurant. The food was prepared quickly and tasted good, and the price and performance were right. However, the atmosphere is very bleak and not exactly inviting. When some of our group went bowling, for which there was no instruction and the employee didn't know how to adjust anything, we were no longer so enthusiastic, and everyone who didn't want to bowl was kept for 2 hours ignored and you weren't even asked if you wanted something to drink. To pay, everyone would have to walk up to the bar, which I also find very impersonal. I think a little service training would be appropriate here

Really pleasantly surprised. The food is fantastic. Much better than expected. Cordon Blue with the gravy is such a treat. Good job. I'll definitely come more often

We were there with a large group to go bowling and then eat. Unfortunately there was no instruction on bowling, which was a shame. It's not really comfortable, but I have to say that handling the group wasn't a problem. Employees were very relaxed and everyone got their food without having to wait too long. So if you're planning a fun bowling evening, you're in good hands here.

Very run down. Probably not a cent or penny has been invested in maintaining, let alone renovating, the location for 40 years. I couldn't feel comfortable there. Coleslaw wasn't edible for me, it felt like 500g of mayo on 10g of cabbage and nothing else, no salt, no pepper, no vinegar, nothing at all. Unfortunately the fries weren't good either, only the burger was ok. During my visit, a bowler came to the bar and asked for wipes to wipe up any moisture on the bowling alley (however she managed that), but was instead told to just use the neighboring alley. Then I didn't see any employee who would take care of clearing it up. So the train then breaks down permanently and the location continues to fall into disrepair. In general the staff seemed quite disinterested.

Price and performance are not in proportion! This frozen ready-made burger is a complete disappointment, even the nice rustic fries couldn't ignore it. Unfortunately, you could rather go to Burger King or McDonald’s.

I had dinner here with my family. The portions were great. Great in terms of taste and size. The staff was nice and we spontaneously used the bowling alley. All in all, I can recommend Buddy's. Keep it up

Great food.It's keggel ,but it's nice to play with fiends and to get really best burgers.

There were three of us there and we had currywurst and burgers. We waited three quarters of an hour for the food. The burger was okay, nothing special but not bad either. Some of the fries weren't quite cooked through, but otherwise they were good. The currywurst was a complete failure. The staff isn't very attentive and the fact that the same song was playing on a loop throughout the entire stay didn't make it any better. Overall not recommended.

Very good burger restaurant in an active bowling alley. The atmosphere is really very pleasant, the staff is nice. There is a really wide selection of food and the portions are large. Unfortunately, I wasn't completely impressed with the taste, which is why I deducted a star.

We've eaten here several times because it tastes brutally good and there's enough on the plate. Relaxed staff and completely reasonable in terms of price.

Staff really friendly!! They were above and beyond!!! Make us really felt welcome, also, hands down, THE BEST HAMBURGER AND HOTDOG I EVER HAD, they are and should be proud of their cooking, keep the hard work!! If I’ll ever return to the town, I will be back again here!!

Buddy's has by far the best and crispiest fries in the area. We often order takeaway here and at home the fries are still super crispy and delicious! Of course the other food tastes delicious too :)

Das Essen im Buddys war wirklich sehr gut! Service einwandfrei!

Das Lokal befindet sich innerhalb eines Kegelzentrums. Es macht äußerlich nicht viel her, aber das Essen war lecker.

Essen ist spitze auch die Preise, prima für ein schnelles Mittagessen oder auch um mit Kollegen in Kegelbahnatmosphäre zu sitzen.

Ich hatte einen Pulled Pork Burger welchen ich absolut weiterempfehlen kann ! Pommes waren ebenfalls top. Bedienung flexibel und freundlich. Ambiente einfach gehalten mit Kegelbahn und Biergarten.

Sehr leckeres Essen, viel selbstgemacht, nette Bedienung, mit Sportambiente - es war gerade ein Kegelwettkampf mit Stimmung.

Wir hatten bisher nur zum Liefern bestellt. Ich kann nix Schlechtes sagen. Essen kam immer recht schnell. Und es hat auch alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Demnächst gehen wir dann wohl vor Ort essen.

I paid 4 more euros from what I ordered, so either the tap water costs 4 euros or the are fraud. The food was good though.

Best Philly cheesesteak I've had in a long time. We have come here many times and it's consistent, that's really important to us. Burger is also delicious, the steak is ok but for the price it's good. Overall we are very happy with Buddy's food. Price performance ratio is good.

The place offer inside and out side seating with a bar. A big hall for playing Kegel gives really nice view of the game. We went there for dinner and I was not disappointed. We had one of the best burgers we ever had. The Gorgonzola burger was top notch. The burger patty is thick, super juicy and cooked to perfection. The fries are crispy and delicious. The prices are affordable and matches the quality. The servant were super friendly and greeted us with a smile. Parking are available next to the entrance and there is a small playground outside for the children to play.

We came here since they do a philly cheese steak sandwich, it was a very good sandwich. The service was minor, and the location of the place is a bit far from everything. Nevertheless, good sandwiches

Von meinem tauben Freund, der zur Zeit in Heidelberg studiert, hat uns oft empfohlen, dort die Burger zu nehmen. Vergleich mit anderen Burgerhäuser kann man schon vergessen. Qualität ist ganz besonders.

This was a good find. It's a Kegelbahn (bowling) center, but the food was surprisingly good.

Einer der besten Burger, der mir untergekommen ist (und das geliefert!). Die Basics, done right. Der Buddy Boss Burger war wirklich eine Freude + super freundliche Lieferkraft :)

Ich hatte schon viele Burger in Restaurants, aber der Crazy-Goat-Burger bei Buddy's hat mich vom Hocker gehauen - einer der besten Burger, die ich je gegessen habe, garniert mit grandiosen Pommes.

Netter Ort um mit Kollegen was zu Essen. Das Essen ist OK, aber nicht hervorragend. Das Ambiente ähnelt einer Sporthalle.

Man wird sehr freundlich bedient.

Es ist in einer Kegelarena, schlicht. Das Essen war lecker! Personal war sehr freundlich!

Sehr netter Besitzer, sehr leckeres Essen. Am meisten wird wohl geliefert oder abgeholt. Das Ambiente ist eben eine Kegelbahn, nicht schlimm, aber auch kein Restaurant 😉 Bisher schmeckte alles sehr gut, kommen gerne hin.
