Always a highlight to go there, best burgers ever

Disgusting and overpriced!!! The food was extremely poor quality to disgusting: we ordered 3 burgers. In one burger the finished pellet was black/charred. In the case of a burger, the pellet was cold because ice cold sauce was not brought to room temperature first or the pellet was not heated properly. The last burger (Naked) was a carelessly slapped meatball with a leaf of iceberg lettuce. The fries with cheese sauce got a bit disgusting. This didn't taste like cheese and was clearly a powdery ready-made sauce... The fries were of lower quality. For the very expensive price (almost 10 euros for a fries with sauce, soft drinks from around 5 euros, burgers (side dishes including salad always cost extra) almost 20 euros) you expect a different quality!!! That's just overpriced. We do not recommend the restaurant and are very disappointed. The idea with the wagon is nice, but some of the furniture is damaged. The flush didn't work in the women's toilet and everything was full of dirt and smelled miserable. What is out of date is that card payment is not possible. The only positive thing was the friendly service.

Not to be confused with Mandy's diner in the red car... you can pay with a card at Mangy's Burger, but you can't at the other one. There is a delicious burger or nuggets for a good price, it's not a 5 star but it tastes good, it's clean and the people are nice, what more could you want.

Went to Mandy's Burger (not in the train car), they are delicious fast food burgers similar to those from the Big M, but in my opinion much tastier.

Catastrophic snake bite, operation without foresight! I have known the shop for over 30 years. What has become of it over the years can no longer be justified. It's a shame... but I won't set foot in it anymore!

I liked the food here, the staff were nice. It was clean but quite busy. The food came quickly and was tasty, there are video games for children in a separate area, which are unfortunately very loud.

I only come here because of the Heiderburgers with bacon. Prices are relatively high, but it's worth it. An Indian lady is very inflexible and prefers to go to someone else. If children have a special request, the lady won't do anything. Children don't eat everything. I think it's a shame that no consideration is given to the little ones here. We live near Karlsruhe and when we are nearby we always go there. Best burger shop ever, but only because of the burgers not because of the service...it's a shame it barely missed 5 stars.

Fan for decades. Getting worse after the last few years! Paddy what an imposition! It's a shame I often drove off the highway just because of Mandy. Now I'd rather buy a paddy and unfortunately do better. Saving money like this is the worst way for your reputation. Hope they wake up again. It can't be that there are better burgers in the disgusting restaurant across the street 🙈 Unfortunately, the sanitary rooms say too much about the quality. (Cleanliness is not a crime) Please find your old strength again!

A Heidelberg classic, the food looks very freshly prepared and on top of that there are some great pinball machines

Mandy's burger is okay. Unfortunately, the burgers are not recommended. We got a totally watery burger with extremely poor quality and a bland taste. My buddy tried a bite and immediately felt sick. He threw it away straight away. The chicken nuggets, on the other hand, were really great👍🏼Very tasty and crispy 😋 Fries were average good. But not a blast either. Staff okay too. A little too slimy. Price wise: Good. But I think it's cheeky to charge €4.90 for such a bad burger. Otherwise, the ambience was very clean 🧼👍🏼

One of the best burger snack bars and restaurants in the Rhein-Neckar district! If you don't try a "Heidelburger" here, you're missing out!

Best American food I have ever had in Europe, service is good, atmosphere (decorations and music) is good and don’t forget try their Kentucky fried chicken!

Mandy's fast food is relatively expensive compared to McDonald's, but also super tasty! The burgers are freshly made and the variations of the burgers are also very diverse. The selection of American soft drinks is also great. Perfect for a cheat day! In my opinion, the Railway (which is why one star is deducted) is not that tasty in direct comparison. But a must for an American atmosphere and breakfast.

Delicious food in a great atmosphere. The price-performance ratio is great, we like to go here.

My personal favorite is the Texburger with cheese and bacon as well as the Tropiburger. Always a must when I'm in Heidelberg.

You are definitely in the right place for a quick, affordable snack. I would recommend the grilled chicken sandwich.

The place has a nice atmosphere, and the waitress was friendly. However, we were extremely disappointed with the XXL burger. After a long wait, the burger arrived lukewarm, and the patty seemed to be from a frozen batch. To make matters worse, I found a hair in it. The sauce was too much and didn’t blend well, making the bun soggy very quickly. The sweet potato fries were nice, but I wouldn't recommend the coleslaw. It tasted okay but was too small for the €3 price. In the end, we couldn’t finish the XXL burger and decided to take it home, but the waitress charged €1 for the box, which was very petty and strange considering the burger itself is already overpriced for the quality. Overall, it was a disappointing experience with overpriced and below-average food.

The place promises to be better than it actually is. The food was very average, nothing special or “wow”. The service is ok, the decor is American style. The meat is small and of industrial quality. The roll is ok, the salads too. Prices are quite high, it is not competitive with chain stores.

Burger pad was cold and gristly Fries tasted old and was disappointing for one of yours. Then go to MC or King, that's at least cheaper

Cool location close to the Heidelberg main station. The vibe is quite special and made our visit very enjoyable. The food was good but the service could have been a little more attentive. Overall a good place if you are looking for tasty and not so healthy American style food.

Mandy's has always been great! Been coming here since the mid 90s! The Americans were still there back then, which was also noticeable in the interior design! And there were apple turnovers the size of schnitzel for 2 marks! I miss those the most! I mean the apple turnovers ☝️ The food is still great, especially at the burger joint! Root beer and Heidelburger are a must when I'm in Heidelberg!

So with all your understanding about the lack of employees, if you advertise until 8 p.m. and we can't get in at 7:45 p.m. even though there are still people in there and the orders are in progress, the door is simply locked from the outside and you can't get in anymore, I think about it the next time I might not go to BK or McD straight away. This was the third time now and even though we were long-time customers. On the next visit, this time will be taken into account in advance and Mandy's will not even be driven to. It's a shame.... But now we're down there.....!

The railway diner is much better, the other one has declined significantly in recent years and has become more and more expensive

Delicious burgers and good side dishes (also mac and cheese). Dessert rounded off the meal. Really tasty . But the cake was overpriced. Otherwise everything was great Nice to sit in the train carriage. Nice ambience.

Super lovely and warm owners, great hearty menus. There is something for everybody! The staff also always strives to ensure that the guest has a great stay. I have been a satisfied customer for 10 years!

One of the last “classics” from Heidelberg! The Heidelburger is and remains legendary (good)! The quality of the burgers and fries here has remained the same over the years, still a very classic “American burger”! Very important: Switch off the engine in the drive through, this is how you recognize a real Mandys-goer! Anyone who comes here knows: the burger is put on the grill as soon as you order it, so it takes a minute longer, but it's definitely worth the wait!

Service top! Unfortunately, since we arrived late, the shop was already closed and we were cleaning up, but the three correct people at the back asked the other citizens if we wanted them because they were already finished. Chicken nuggets and fries from Mandy's Burgers in Heidelberg. Friendly and fast service, clean and nicely done restaurant. Some slot machines. The nuggets were really good, decent meat and a delicious crispy breading. The fries were okay too. But €9.30 for such a small portion is excessive.

Mandy's team exceeded our expectations! Despite the shop being closed, the three employees were incredibly nice and served us delicious burgers with a smile on their faces. We had several products to take home yesterday. 1.Chicken & Chips were ok. 2.Sweet potato fries delicious, but only a small handful, a joke for €4.50. 3.The crowning achievement, however, was 2 pieces of grilled steak rolls. The meat, completely burnt black on the edge and completely dry. The whole thing was wrapped up nicely, so we only noticed it when we got home. It can always be left on the grill for a bit too long, but then giving it to a full-paying guest is an outrage.

The burgers taste good, but that's not enough. In order to be full you either have to order the "big" menu, of which there are only two burgers, or order several burgers, otherwise you will never be halfway full. The ketchup and mayo packets aren't even enough for 1/3 of the fries, which is extreme. The menu is not easy to find if you want to research how much an additional burger would cost. Unfortunately, there are no two burger menus as you would find elsewhere, but rather family menus consisting of four burgers, which is too much for one person. There aren't many tables if you want to eat on site. The order display board is weird and the cashier shouts the number despite the display board. You can see on the board whose turn it is and whose turn it was instead of who it is and who will be next. The toilet is very narrow and there is only one sink. Now about my order: The cashier forgot the drink and gave ketchup instead of mayo.

It's freezing cold in the store and the music is so loud that you can't hold a conversation. But don't worry, the management + service crown the worst burger experience of my life with clumsy greed for profit: The fries were soggy and drowned in a sauce that was supposed to be cheese but only tasted like cream, the "meat" patties were of the worst quality, the smell alone was a nightmare. And if you don't like it, complain and have the food returned, you're out of luck. So we returned a whole burger (€12!!) and a portion of fries (€7!!) after a tiny sample and noted our annoyance. No attempt was made to address our complaint, offer anything else, resolve the issue. Instead we received the bill in full.

Wer dort zum ersten Mal hingeht sollte vorher einen Platz im Zug reservieren! Das ist absolut einmalig Ansonsten kann man auch wie in allen anderen Fastfood Restaurants drinnen essen. Essen ist sehr lecker und viel Auswahl. Auch für Vegetarier gibt's was zu essen 😁 Ich geh dort lieber hin wie zu McD... oder BurgerK...

Wir waren zur Weihnachtszeit und alles war toll geschmückt.Es ist etwas eng aber das Ambiente in diesem Wagon hat mir persönlich gut gefallen.Die Burger waren gut,wenn auch nicht die besten die es gibt.Aber alles geht ja irgendwie immer besser.Ich werd jedenfalls wieder hingehen 😃

Der Heidelburger schmeckt nicht mehr so gut wie früher, es ist nicht mehr das selbe Fleisch. Wartezeiten sind extrem lang, mussten auch schon für 2 Burger mehr wie 30 Minuten wartend im Drive stehen. Der Service hat sich dafür auch entschuldigt und ein extra Burger eingepackt. Das war großzügig 👍

Ich war das erste Mal im Mandy's in Heidelberg. Aber ich muss sagen es ist eine gute Alternative zu anderen bekannten Schnellrestaurant. Qualitativ besser würde ich sagen, der Burger 🔥🍔🍟 war wirklich gut! Ich hatte den Heidelburger im Menü für 8,10 Euro. Auch das Ambiente und die Einrichtung erinnert an ein 🇺🇸👩🏻‍🍳amerikanisches Burger Diner. Cool sind auch die Videospielautomaten im Nebenraum. 😎🙌🏻 Werde bestimmt mal wieder hingehen.

Der Heidelburger - ob seines einzigartigen Geschmacks pilgern schon seit Jahrzehnten Hundertschaften von Studenten und Liebhabern von American Fast Food zu dem Food Tempel zwischen Hauptbahnhof und Sportstätten am Harbigweg. Er hat alles, was ein echter Burger braucht, um sich von der globalisierten Konkurrenz abzusetzen. Glücklicherweise blieb sein Geschmack unverändert. Ein Muss für jeden Burger Liebhaber.

Sehr leckere Burger, Pommes, Chicken-Nuggets. Mal was ganz anderes als MC Donalds und hochwertiger. Personal sehr freundlich. Preis-Leistung hervorragend. Ambiente schön aber Räumlichkeiten etwas zu klein. Immer wieder gerne!

Ein Klassischer Amerikanischer Burgerladen der einen nicht entäuschen wird .Ich kann euch den Heidelberger mit Käse empfehlen .wer in oder der Nähe von Heidelberg ist sollte sich esen Burgerladen nicht entgehen lassen .

Echt super - absoluter guter Geschmack

Das Ambiente ist nicht das modernste, aber trotzdem schön. Die Cheeseburger hatten für meinen Geschmack zuviel Rauch-Aroma am Fleisch, davon abgesehen warrn sie ganz gut. Leider gab es bei der Getränke-Auswahl nur Produkte von Pepsico, und soviel ich gesehen habe nichts von Coca-Cola. Die Burger werden frisch zubereitet, daher dauert dies einige Minuten.

Eigentlich alles Top, nur die Öffnungszeiten bis 20 Uhr sind bodenlos :(

War früher ein legendäres Burger Restaurant, als die Amis noch in Heidelberg stationiert waren. Heute nicht mehr ganz so gut.

Das Ambiente im Mandys ist in Ordnung. Im Hinterraum gibt es sogar Spielkonsolen. Der „Zug“ hat eine typische amerikanische Aufmachung und ist immer der aktuellen Session entsprechend dekoriert. Leider ist es im „Zug“ schwieriger einen Platz zu ergattern. Der Drive in ist leider nicht so gut. Hier kommt es von Wartezeiten von bis zu 20 Minuten. Die Burger sind sehr lecker und saftig. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist in Ordnung. Es gibt einen Studenten Rabatt

Seit Jahren mal wieder im Mandys gewesen, unverändert guter Geschmack, gleiches Ambiente nette Menschen. Top

Der Heidelburger ist unser absoluter Lieblings Hamburger und der Preis für die Qualität total in Ordnung. Alles wird frisch zubereitet, daher dauerts auch mal länger. Allerdings wurden die Öffnungszeiten mit Corona angepasst (gut, macht Sinn), aber postcoronal weiterhin um 20 Uhr zu schließen ist bisl übertrieben. Außerdem, und jetzt kommt mein eigentlicher Null Stern, bringen sie es fertig, die Bude bereits um 19:45 zu verrammeln und keine Bestellung mehr anzunehmen. Das geht einfach überhaupt nicht klar, haltet euch an eure Öffnungszeiten! Dann spart ihr euch auch eine hangry Bewertung!

Seit über 30 Jahren gehe ich jetzt zu Mandy's und ich mag die Burger dort immer noch. Die Atmosphäre ist schön und funktional. Der Flipper im hinteren Raum ist auch immer ein Highlight gewesen. Ich habe auch viele Gäste aus dem Ausland zu Mandy's gebracht und alle waren begeistert von den frisch gegrillten Burgern. Dieser Laden hat einfach Tradition.
