Unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied with my visit. Instead of a Little Hamburg (LCB), I was served a regular one. Okay, no big deal, these things happen. But the employee was already unfriendly at the register... I've never experienced anything like it, especially when I went to pick up my food and showed her my table number. Then she wanted to see my receipt. I was like, "Oh..." She immediately switched to using the informal "du" (you). I always give out receipts, and I gave it to you. There are more friendly ways to treat customers... Unfortunately, the Heidelberg 5Guys disappointed me this time.

The fries and the burger were excellent. The way they were served on a tray, with some of the fries in a cup, was a bit odd. I found the large milkshake, at over €7, to be very small at around 250ml.

A saturated and delicious meal and the staff are friendly

Very tasty burgers, but also quite expensive. The interior is typically American, and the staff are very unfriendly. The kitchen is open, so you can watch the burger being prepared. Hygiene is definitely a top priority here.

I'm visiting Heidelberg at tourist at this moment. been accustomed to eat at 5 guys in the US I stopped at five guys a few times here. but yesterday's service extremely angered me. after being out and about all day I wanted to use the restroom and get cleaned up before eating. I was told I could not do so unless I ordered first. so I placed my order but by the time I got cleaned up I had lost my appetite and just left my food. this has never happened to me in the United States ever before. who does not wash up before eating a meal

Five Guys has the world's best fries! They're super delicious, and the burgers are amazing too 👍🏼 Drinks are refillable, and there's plenty of seating on two levels. Yes, it's not exactly cheap, but it's no comparison to McDonald's and the like, and it's truly worth every penny! We always love stopping by whenever we visit Heidelberg 😉

Super friendly staff! There's even an upstairs seating area, which was pleasantly quiet and almost empty. The burgers and fries were really delicious; I'd be happy to come back.

This Five Guys branch is much better than the one in Munich. Clean and friendly staff. Only the restrooms could be cleaned more often.

The food is just standard Five Guys. You have to wait a little longer, but it's okay. Another issue is hygiene. For that reason alone, I would never eat here again. The floor is sticky and dirty. The worst, though, are the restrooms. You walk in, and the men's restrooms are covered in urine. The toilet seat is also speckled brown. Simply disgusting.

I don't even know where to begin – this visit to Five Guys was an absolute disaster and a complete waste of time. I've been sitting here for what feels like an eternity, just waiting for something as simple as a burger and fries. The concept of "fast food" seems to have completely vanished here – "slow food" would probably be a better description. If I want to wait that long, I'll go to an upscale restaurant where at least the service, ambiance, and quality are top-notch. The organization is a complete mess. No one feels truly responsible, the employees seem stressed and uncoordinated, and you get the feeling that you, as a guest, are completely irrelevant. Instead of customer service, there is only indifference and a lack of commitment. Every glance behind the counter confirms that this isn't a well-coordinated team – more like a hectic, haphazard group that doesn't even have the basics down. And when you FINALLY get something, the question arises: What's the point of waiting? The price is ridiculously high for what you get. The burger is mediocre at best, the fries are dripping with grease and taste anything but fresh. The price is simply outrageous for this standard. All in all: A place best avoided. Long wait times, exorbitant prices, uncoordinated staff, and zero added value. Anyone who seriously feels comfortable here or talks about quality simply has no standards. This was definitely my last visit – and I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of this place.

The two of us went to Five Guys today and were actually planning on sitting down and eating something. As soon as we walked in, all the employees stared at us, and a male employee rudely called out to us, "Hey, where are you going?" That's not how you speak to paying customers. We simply wanted to put down our bag, but were immediately addressed in a rude tone. A very unpleasant experience, with no trace of friendliness or hospitality. We left right away.

I love Five Guys in Heidelberg, but my last visit was unfortunately disappointing. I was really looking forward to the crispy fries, but in the end, they were a soggy mix of Cajun and regular fries. The burgers weren't up to par either. I'm assuming this was an isolated incident, because otherwise, everything at Five Guys is always top-notch. Therefore, I'm giving it 4 stars and hope it'll be back to normal next time.

The burgers at Five Guys in Heidelberg are freshly prepared, juicy, and offer a wide variety of toppings, along with plenty of good-quality fries. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean. However, it's not cheap, with a burger and fries costing around €20 per person. The experience is quite expensive, but the taste is worth it.

I love the Hot dogs here, quiet expensive but anyway I like the taste. Warm food and clean restaurant. The fries are very tasty and there's a ketchup-mayo station.

Everthing was good most delicious burger

The burger was very good. As always, the fries were a pile in the cup and the bag. Unfortunately, we had to wait over 25 minutes for our food. Another plus point is that they offer refills. The price is terrible; I paid €25 for a cheeseburger, a portion of fries, and a drink, which is the only criticism.

I've never eaten as badly as here. We had a grilled cheese sandwich for €7.50 and a medium fries for €7.50. You don't get a tray when you get there. Everything is packed into a bag. The sandwich was at the bottom, and the loose fries were just sitting in the bag. We threw away half of the fries because they just didn't taste good, and I think the "sandwich" is the biggest disgrace. You pay €7.50 for two folded burger buns with melted cheese inside. It's just a total disgrace.

1st time eating 5guys and surprisingly very good but a little bit overprized

It was chilled, not gonna lie, but bro, 24 euros for fries and a burger, oh wow. I thought it was fast food, I thought it wasn't expensive, but whatever. I was there with my friends on an outing, and yeah, it was totally chilled, but you know where it wasn't chilled? Because I got diarrhea at home because of that burger.

A classic Five Guys. Since the vending machine upstairs is no longer there, I don't go there as often or as happily. Downstairs, there's only one vending machine working, and drinks are usually warm if you don't like ice.

Brilliant! Burgers without carbohydrates: If you wish, you can order your burger in an iceberg lettuce leaf or in an aluminum tray without a bun. The music isn't quite as rockin' in the US, but you can get a burger of similar quality here. Build your own with awesome fries and a refillable drink. And the cult status is alive here too: salted peanuts as much as you want, completely free!

We were intrigued by the concept of this fast food and had to try it. The burger was excellent and very tasty.

I've never felt so ripped off as I did today. A bacon burger that was dry and not particularly big. The crowning glory, however, was the "grilled cheese sandwich," a real disgrace... simply upside-down burger buns topped with cheap "cheese." How can they charge more than €8 for that? I'll definitely spend my next €30 somewhere else. The service wasn't particularly friendly either.

Burgers and milkshakes were super good

Arrived in Heidelberg at noon on a hot (35 degree Celsius!) Sunday, was hungry and super thirsty. Great to have this Five Guys and it was not busy. Plenty of seats in both the ground floor and upstairs. Staff is very friendly and patient. I cannot read German and the cashier helped explaining the options in English. Nice choice to take a break in such a hot whether!

Not my thing. I didn't understand the concept and was overwhelmed with the order. The result was that the hamburger had double patties, which I wasn't aware of. I should have ordered a simple hamburger. That was definitely too much meat for me. I didn't understand the self-serve drinks machine straight away either. Plus, I thought it was overpriced overall for a fast food restaurant. Maybe at 54 I'm no longer the target audience, even though I grew up with McDonald's... But the place was pretty empty, even though Heidelberg city center is packed. So maybe I'm not alone in my opinion. The staff, though, were very nice and helpful.

Finally got to try Five Guys in Heidelberg and went for their classic cheeseburger with bacon. I was honestly surprised by the size – definitely a substantial burger! But more importantly, it tasted really good. The ingredients felt fresh, and the combination was just right. The service was also quick and efficient, which is always a plus when you're hungry. What I particularly appreciated, and something we don't often see back in India, was the option of bottomless drinks. It's a small thing, but definitely adds to the overall value.

The food was very tasty and tasted much better/higher quality than other fostfood chains. I was fed up with that for a while too. However, it's not cheap either at over 20 euros for a burger with small fries and a drink. Even though I wanted to eat on site, the food was handed to me in a bag. Overrated, you can do that. Then it will just be nothing and expensive. Fries are soggy and cold, the burger was ok but the price/performance is subpar. Milkshake, extremely sweet. Whoever likes it. Not worth recommending.

The double cheeseburger wasn't bad in taste, but nothing special either. Tasted a little like a better Big Mac. Salt was definitely missing. The burger was also too stuffed and the ingredients spilled out every now and then. The French fries for 5.50 euros, which were the "cheapest", did not taste convincing at all. Were dry and bland. Drinks are standard cheap syrup, all you can drink machine. Ambience is so, well, a bit lifeless I would say. The music upstairs is pretty nice for old school hip hop fans like me. The shop is never full, so if you want some peace and quiet, it's okay. Conclusion, 21.50 euros for a burger (12 euros), fries (5.50 euros) and a drink are too much. You can try it out once and that's it.

First time at five guys was an absolute success! Bilawal at the counter taking our order was super friendly and advised us perfectly on all the available menu options. Thanks to him we tried perfect cheeseburgers! Restaurant was also very clean and welcoming.

Went there in the evening on February 1st, 2025 but had never seen such a dirty restaurant. I'm surprised that something like this is allowed in Germany. It was dirty everywhere. Every table was dirty, garbage everywhere, leftover food, mayonnaise, spilled drinks, crushed peanuts, garbage was piled up next to and above the trash cans and none of the staff felt called upon to clean up a bit. If we had sat outside on the street it would have been cleaner. I'm really not sensitive, but I've never seen anything like it and you should report it to the store for inspection. It can't be that the tables aren't even cleaned there all day.

Great establishment! Mariem (I believe is the woman with glasses and blonde hair) was extremely professional, hardworking, and provided some of the best service ever at a five guys. Thank you for a great experience!

Protect the staff here at all costs. They are busting their butts making fire burgers, keeping the place clean, and being friendly and welcoming all at once. Shoutout to the brown guy with glasses who was the cashier and the blonde lady on the grill. 🫡

They make very good fries and quickly, a McDonald's but much less chaotic and easy to order, the only thing is that they have bottles of water which cost 4 euros, apart from this they give very abundant food

It's okay, the burgers are delicious but also a lot more expensive and you should consider whether you should go straight to a good burger restaurant. Because unfortunately the atmosphere isn't particularly nice, there's a lot of trash flying around, the ketchup/mayo station was pretty dirty and unfortunately empty. But it's better than MCD!

I tried Five Guys for the first time and was hoping that the chain would convince me. In terms of price, Five Guys is significantly more expensive than other fast food chains. The ambience is very nice and has a strong American style that actually gives the impression that you are in America. In terms of taste, the burgers, fries and the cheese sandwich are solid. I wouldn't necessarily visit Five Guys again, but I can't complain about the food. Only the cheese sandwich was rather bland in taste. The fries and burgers weren't great, but they met my expectations.

Burgers at standard 5 guys level, unfortunately the topping was spread so slowly on the burgers that the burgers were only lukewarm.

In short: never again. Veggie here just means without meat, but there is no substitute patty variant, as you would expect. I think they could have pointed this out at the checkout. Instead, everything falls apart, even if there is a (melted!) slice of cheese there. Of the 3 toppings I ordered, one was missing, but there was something on it that I hadn't ordered. The veggie cheese sandwich I ordered turned out to be a normal burger bun with the toppings put on it. Of course half fell down and was very liquid. I was extremely disappointed. Especially for the price! The supposedly great fries should have stayed in the deep fryer for twice as long and I don't understand why people put food in paper bags to eat on site instead of on reusable trays. Anything but sustainable. We had four portions of fries, one of which was supposed to be Cajun (seasoned). But since they were all thrown into one bag, it was impossible to separate them and everything seemed to be the same. Unfortunately, the store is not suitable for children under the age of teenagers and there seems to be enough walk-in customers; customer loyalty doesn't seem to be particularly important here. Regarding the “ambience”: sticky floor, even obvious and large-scale contamination was not removed. The tables hadn't seen a rag in a while. The store wasn't particularly crowded; there were five people behind the counter. They didn't seem really stressed. You could have easily taken the time for better service and cleanliness. I worked in the catering industry for 15 years, but unfortunately that wasn't possible today.

Very good, freshly prepared burgers. Although the fries have a hefty price tag, they are not your average frozen fries. Here you can get fresh fries fried in fresh oil. You can taste it! Super crispy! The ambience is simple but original. On the upper floor you can sit quietly with a view of the pedestrian zone. We'll definitely be back!

Five guys is one of our favorite fast food restaurants, we love the fries and the hotdogs. From time to time they release new milkshake flavors and we enjoy them a lot. They have unlimited drinks and so many different options :)

I was there with my daughter. She had a hotdog, I ate a hamburger. The taste was quite artificial (plastic), the fries was salty, awful lot of salt was on it. Like one third of its weight was probably salt. They call it cajun fries. The service was nice and neat, the waitress was the highlight of our visit.

We just stopped here for a drink and a restroom. The bathrooms, upstairs, were very clean and convenient to where we were. Five guys is consistently good across the globe. There is no notable difference in the product from the States to Germany. I like that about them. It's fun to eat at a Five guys in Europe and see where the potatoes are from!

Very delicious, the truth is, as a recommendation, it is worth buying the small menu of potatoes or if you go as a couple, just a combo of potatoes is served exaggeratedly and you can refill the drink without a problem.

Surprisingly convincing: The price is very high. In return you get something that is rarely found today... an absolutely inviting atmosphere! Burgers taste authentic and good, Very friendly staff, refill drinks, bowls for mayo and ketchup to refill yourself, free choice of toppings, peanuts to serve yourself, fries clearly overfilled portion.. You have the feeling that nothing is left to be desired and you don't have anything extra for everyone order and pay.
