First time at five guys was an absolute success! Bilawal at the counter taking our order was super friendly and advised us perfectly on all the available menu options. Thanks to him we tried perfect cheeseburgers! Restaurant was also very clean and welcoming.

Went there in the evening on February 1st, 2025 but had never seen such a dirty restaurant. I'm surprised that something like this is allowed in Germany. It was dirty everywhere. Every table was dirty, garbage everywhere, leftover food, mayonnaise, spilled drinks, crushed peanuts, garbage was piled up next to and above the trash cans and none of the staff felt called upon to clean up a bit. If we had sat outside on the street it would have been cleaner. I'm really not sensitive, but I've never seen anything like it and you should report it to the store for inspection. It can't be that the tables aren't even cleaned there all day.

Great establishment! Mariem (I believe is the woman with glasses and blonde hair) was extremely professional, hardworking, and provided some of the best service ever at a five guys. Thank you for a great experience!

Protect the staff here at all costs. They are busting their butts making fire burgers, keeping the place clean, and being friendly and welcoming all at once. Shoutout to the brown guy with glasses who was the cashier and the blonde lady on the grill. 🫡

They make very good fries and quickly, a McDonald's but much less chaotic and easy to order, the only thing is that they have bottles of water which cost 4 euros, apart from this they give very abundant food

The manager stormed up to me and scolded me because I took a cup from the stack that I had bought and told me that there was no self-service here. I don't recommend this store to anyone

Very expensive food, low aesthetics place, average to bad food

I tried Five Guys for the first time and was hoping that the chain would convince me. In terms of price, Five Guys is significantly more expensive than other fast food chains. The ambience is very nice and has a strong American style that actually gives the impression that you are in America. In terms of taste, the burgers, fries and the cheese sandwich are solid. I wouldn't necessarily visit Five Guys again, but I can't complain about the food. Only the cheese sandwich was rather bland in taste. The fries and burgers weren't great, but they met my expectations.

It's okay, the burgers are delicious but also a lot more expensive and you should consider whether you should go straight to a good burger restaurant. Because unfortunately the atmosphere isn't particularly nice, there's a lot of trash flying around, the ketchup/mayo station was pretty dirty and unfortunately empty. But it's better than MCD!

Burgers at standard 5 guys level, unfortunately the topping was spread so slowly on the burgers that the burgers were only lukewarm.

In short: never again. Veggie here just means without meat, but there is no substitute patty variant, as you would expect. I think they could have pointed this out at the checkout. Instead, everything falls apart, even if there is a (melted!) slice of cheese there. Of the 3 toppings I ordered, one was missing, but there was something on it that I hadn't ordered. The veggie cheese sandwich I ordered turned out to be a normal burger bun with the toppings put on it. Of course half fell down and was very liquid. I was extremely disappointed. Especially for the price! The supposedly great fries should have stayed in the deep fryer for twice as long and I don't understand why people put food in paper bags to eat on site instead of on reusable trays. Anything but sustainable. We had four portions of fries, one of which was supposed to be Cajun (seasoned). But since they were all thrown into one bag, it was impossible to separate them and everything seemed to be the same. Unfortunately, the store is not suitable for children under the age of teenagers and there seems to be enough walk-in customers; customer loyalty doesn't seem to be particularly important here. Regarding the “ambience”: sticky floor, even obvious and large-scale contamination was not removed. The tables hadn't seen a rag in a while. The store wasn't particularly crowded; there were five people behind the counter. They didn't seem really stressed. You could have easily taken the time for better service and cleanliness. I worked in the catering industry for 15 years, but unfortunately that wasn't possible today.

Very good, freshly prepared burgers. Although the fries have a hefty price tag, they are not your average frozen fries. Here you can get fresh fries fried in fresh oil. You can taste it! Super crispy! The ambience is simple but original. On the upper floor you can sit quietly with a view of the pedestrian zone. We'll definitely be back!

Five guys is one of our favorite fast food restaurants, we love the fries and the hotdogs. From time to time they release new milkshake flavors and we enjoy them a lot. They have unlimited drinks and so many different options :)

I was there with my daughter. She had a hotdog, I ate a hamburger. The taste was quite artificial (plastic), the fries was salty, awful lot of salt was on it. Like one third of its weight was probably salt. They call it cajun fries. The service was nice and neat, the waitress was the highlight of our visit.

The burgers and basically everything else tastes very good. Unfortunately the prices are rather high. Still worth a visit.

We just stopped here for a drink and a restroom. The bathrooms, upstairs, were very clean and convenient to where we were. Five guys is consistently good across the globe. There is no notable difference in the product from the States to Germany. I like that about them. It's fun to eat at a Five guys in Europe and see where the potatoes are from!

Very delicious, the truth is, as a recommendation, it is worth buying the small menu of potatoes or if you go as a couple, just a combo of potatoes is served exaggeratedly and you can refill the drink without a problem.

Surprisingly convincing: The price is very high. In return you get something that is rarely found today... an absolutely inviting atmosphere! Burgers taste authentic and good, Very friendly staff, refill drinks, bowls for mayo and ketchup to refill yourself, free choice of toppings, peanuts to serve yourself, fries clearly overfilled portion.. You have the feeling that nothing is left to be desired and you don't have anything extra for everyone order and pay.

Very uncomfortable with the food in the bag and the music being way too loud. The toilets were super dirty and I couldn't close the door. Very hot water came out of the tap. The burgers are among the best I know. Large selection of free toppings, drink refills and great fries. I just wish the corporate design of the interior wasn't so ugly and there was a digital display for pickup.

It was my first time at 5 Guys. The price is really steep BUT the menu was very cool and a lot. Not a store I go to every day but definitely worth a try.

I paid almost 30 euros for two burgers (without fries) and a drink. The burgers were absolutely dry and tasteless - even McDonald's can convince against this. I was in the branch today with my two children. The staff was very nice and friendly. My little daughter was hungry and I looked for a microwave to warm up the food. They don't have a microwave, however the staff tried to find a solution and thanks to them my daughter was able to enjoy her hot meal. We were eating and unfortunately she threw the glass and it broke. An employee came to us immediately and cleaned everything immediately. My son had to go to the toilet afterwards and I still had to change the little one and the same employee came up with us and opened the changing room for us. In all of these things she was always friendly and helpful. Same with the others below. We had a very positive experience today and we will definitely go back. Good job everyone!

They took away the free refill machine from upstairs so whenever you want to refill you'd have to walk all the way downstairs but otherwise i really cannot complain. Best fast food chain by far.

Five Guys in Heidelberg disappointed me. In my opinion the prices are too high and it's really sad that there is no real vegetarian alternative. That should be self-evident these days.

German was good after 2 Mothbs after beinh in Germany. Over all no hidden Student Menue which is kinda whacked in Heidelberg. At least the Heidelberger Students should be able to get a Manue witch Chips/Fries + Drink for about 13€. Like this comment if you agree and FiveGuys Germany should change something because the „low above average food“ shoudlnt be this expensive.

Unfortunately, milkshake had a bit of that typical "refrigerator taste" :( It was quite full and therefore loud, but of course that speaks more for the quality, overall it was okay c:

Absolutely great taste. The burger was great. The meat was especially great. We also ordered fries. They were great too. In terms of price it was a lot but okay. Service was great and friendly.

I went to Five Guys for the first time today. The positive thing is that the burgers are prepared to order and individually. The kitchen is open, which is also very positive. I find the concept without trays negative; You basically eat out of the bag or packaging at the table. I wasn't asked whether I wanted to eat in-house or take away, but I should, as different VAT rates apply here. Medium fries: €7.20. see image. The rest is similarly overpriced. The restaurant is actually okay and I would rate it well, but the value here is simply not right. The price screams premium, the ambience, the service and the food scream classic fast food. I think they have a camera installed and laugh their asses off at a customer every time.

The place is good but the prices are a bit expensive for a meal from a fast food chain. Other than that, customer service is average and their food is as expected.

The person who recommended it apologized while still at the restaurant. Ich war begeistert von five Guys in den letzten Jahren. Also hab ich meinen Kollegen vor geschwärmt, wie geil die Burger sind. Wir sind mit 8 Leuten in Heidelberg gewesen. Eine Katastrophe. Zwar wurde uns unsere Bestellung an den Tisch in der oberen Etage gebracht....3 gefüllte Papiertüten. In 2 waren die Burger drin, in Alufolie eingewickelt. Es waren zwar Nummern drauf, aber niemand von uns konnte mit der Nummer etwas anfangen. Ob jeder seinen bestellten Burger aß??? Außer dem vegetarischen sahen alle gleich aus. Die 3. Tüte war zu 3/4 mit Pommes gefüllt. Hallo? Die waren dann leider auch noch pappig und handwarm. Ehrlich: ich habe mich geärgert und geschämt. Meine Kollegen waren zu 99,999% dad erste und letzte Mal da. Sehr schade.

Five Guys is in a different league in terms of quality than Mäcces or Burger King. The burgers are okay and the fries are some of the best you can get in fast food. Ordering went quickly, but there was hardly anything going on.

Burgers are really cool. No comparison to MC or Burger King. Of course the price is steep. Almost €14 for a double bacon cheeseburger is brutal. Therefore only 3 stars

Always super expensive the five guys but how good is it 🤤 the burgers are simple but very tasty, the meat has a lot of flavor, the bread is very soft and they are always generous with the toppings which are also good (special mention for the cheese and crispy bacon). The fries are excellent, especially when you add spices. The place just isn't very welcoming.
