Very authentic Korean food. It was Sunday and unfortunately some dishes were unavailable.

Really good food and service, the only bad thing about the place is that they don’t really control their bookings. We booked for 19h and we still had to wait for half hour to get our table.

Absolutely the best Korean restaurant! We went during lunch—prices were reasonable, and the flavors were authentic. Highly recommend the beef tartare.

Better than KoreoHaus, but a grill restaurant without air conditioning or ventilation?!? No charcoal, only gas stoves? Once you're finished eating, that's it. You stink so badly that all you can do is go home, shower, and change into fresh clothes. What's the point of storing your jacket in an airtight container if the rest of your clothes and your hair reek of grease...???

Since coming to Germany, I've loved Gogi Macha, the Korean restaurant that most closely resembles Korean food. I often go there whenever I crave Korean food and recommend it to my German and international friends. But on this visit, there was cucumber in the tteokbokki? My foreign friend who was with me initially said the tteokbokki tasted different than before, so I thought it was just different today. But halfway through, I saw the cucumber and onion and realized it was a cucumber salad side dish. This was my favorite restaurant so far, but I was really disappointed. I just hope they didn't use leftover side dishes. I'm leaving it 2 stars because I've enjoyed my meal so far. Never again

You grill really good meat right in front of you in the middle of the table, with side dishes as desired, and everything tastes delicious. (If you want to go somewhere else afterward, it's best to take a shower.)

I've lived in Dussel for a long time and have been there dozens of times, and it's always been delicious! The lunch menu and the soup are especially delicious.

Good food, had the bbq, meat quality was good and nice side dishes. Overall the service was good, but at times, they would forget to replace the side dishes. Also we had to pay for kimchi, but I think that’s normal across Europe. Would recommend.

We were seated right in the Foley, so it was really uncomfortable. Anyway, the food was really great; we had the Bugolgi menu and the beef bone soup, which were so good! Yes, it does cost a bit, but it's totally worth it.

Delicious Korean food, with attentive service. Noticing we were with our children, they placed non-spicy side dishes in front of them and reminded them that the dipping sauce wasn't spicy! The side dishes were delicious, with all six of them seasoned differently, making them a great way to break up the greasiness! We arrived on Saturday at noon, and our family of four ordered BBQ Wagyu and a pot of beef vermicelli (not sure what it's called). We were completely stuffed! The beef was excellent and tender, and the vermicelli pot was generous with mushrooms, making it a nutritionally balanced dish! Highly recommended!

I had one each of the Wagyu Set and the A Set. The sirloin was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The mul naengmyeon and yukhoe were also delicious.

Some info on the portion. We ordered a beef set, a pork set and a veg set. Didn’t appear to be much, but we could barely finish. And among the four of us are two verocious teenage boys. Set lunch menus are indeed of super value.

I was there with my husband on Sunday. Luckily, we got a seat without a reservation. We sat in the back, on the left, where you have to sit on the floor. The lowered area under the table made it quite comfortable. We ordered gamjatang. This dish is very rare in Korean restaurants, and we've only ever had it in Korea. The portion was good, and the service was excellent. It's just a shame that you have to order the rice separately. Rice is always part of Korean cuisine, so I think a portion per person should be included for this dish. It didn't taste exactly like it does in Korea, but it was pretty close. So if we fancy this dish again, we'd be happy to come back.

149 euros for vegetables and some meat. Completely disproportionate. Stop in Düsseldorf.

This is a restaurant I'd love to visit often, except for the fact that my clothes smell strongly of meat afterward. That's an unavoidable drawback with indoor grills. Otherwise, the Korean food is delicious and fresh. I highly recommend it!

I've been here many times and have been very satisfied every time. The dishes are consistently delicious, especially the soups, bibimbap, and naengmyeon. The BBQ is also very good. The lunch menu is especially worth it; it's truly excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

I went there because I wanted to eat pork soup in the Netherlands, and it was a satisfying meal~ The two of us ate three lunch menu items~ Next time, I have to come back to try the gamjatang!!🤩

This is just Korea!!! My best friend lives here, so I went to see her. She told me about a delicious Korean restaurant, so we made a reservation for Saturday night and went for dinner with four of us. I was even more impressed by the group of Japanese people dining there. (Foreigners at a Korean BBQ restaurant...) I calmed myself down and ordered the BBQ set (grilled), oxtail soup, bulgogi bibimbap, and cold noodles for dessert. Seriously!!!!! The food was delicious, came out quickly, and for a moment, I thought I was in Korea. The servers were so friendly. I thought I could eat more... But I ordered meat and hangover soup before closing time... I hated myself for not finishing the hangover soup... The night before I left Düsseldorf... I put my diet behind me, and went with my husband to have a blast, eating so much I thought I'd burst, but I was so happy. 😅😅 Jealous of those living in Düsseldorf? I felt it all the way... We always felt sad because there wasn't an original Korean grill where we live... It was so happy, as if I was eating in Korea, and I think I was able to eat comfortably thanks to the kind staff~♡♡ I hope you prosper!!! I'll visit again soon~~~

I went for lunch and had the soybean paste stew set and the stir-fried pork set, and they were both delicious.

They were really stingy with the food! There wasn't even half in the container, and I wasn't even full! It was way too overpriced, and the taste wasn't even up to the standard. Bland, watery beef! The only thing that was "OK" were the side dishes. But they cut corners there, too! 4 slices of cucumber, a piece of broccoli... I feel ripped off. It's outrageous to offer something like that for these prices while they're making a killing! That was also the last time I ordered Korean food. You can eat better elsewhere for that money! As a Korean, I know, and I just shake my head at this ;(

After the restaurant renovation, the prices are significantly higher than before! And the portions are much smaller than before! Eat more staple foods and less meat!

I have been here many times. This Korean restaurant is the most distinctive among all the Korean BBQ restaurants in Dusseldorf. Its tatami chairs are also very Korean-style. The food is very good. This time the tableware has been replaced with new ones!

The meat was fine but definitely not worth the price. The cold noodles were pretty bland. Overall, the service was good, but the food was just average, not great value for money. Also, the place was really smoky inside.

A very disappointing restaurant experience. We ordered Korean BBQ, and when we sat down, we were told that the kitchen closes at 2:15 PM, but not that we had to leave at 3:00 PM. Korean BBQ takes time, but we were urged to leave three times during the meal, even while the meat was still on the grill. Worst of all, as we were leaving, an employee said "really annoying" (진짜 싫어요) in Korean. It is completely unacceptable for a restaurant to not clearly communicate the time limit to customers, to repeatedly rush them during their meal, and then to make derogatory comments. Think twice before visiting this restaurant.

Very authentic Korean restaurant. Food and quality was excellent - multiple banchan is complimentary. Kimchi jjigae is a dish that I use as a benchmark for Korean restaurants and this one definitely went above expectations. 👍👍👍 I will certainly come back again for more. Highly recommended.

We had a little barbecue, lots of side didhes like Kimchi and White Kimchi and a Bibimpap. All of that was very nice and delicious. It was also possible to reorder the small plates for free and all of them were great. 👌🏼

Today we had dinner for two here. The food was okay, but nothing special. However, I am extremely dissatisfied with the service staff there. We first ordered our food from a middle-aged waitress with short hair who was in charge of an area with four tables, including ours. While all the other tables had already received their food, our table remained completely empty. Apart from the two glasses of Coke served at the beginning, nothing else was brought to us. The woman who took our order even returned to the area twice and should have clearly seen that our table remained empty. At that time, a young waitress was also present. But both seemed to completely ignore us, as if we weren't even there. After another five minutes, I became really impatient and annoyed. So I called the young waitress over and asked her why we still hadn't received our food after so long. She said she would check, and after two minutes, she began serving us banchan. This clearly meant our order had been forgotten. But even at the end, we didn't receive any apology! We ate the meal with discomfort and disappointment. For the money we paid, we should have expected much better service!

There is the price there is the quality. Even so pricey and portion not so big for BBQ but taste so good 🥲🫶🏼. Lunch menu also good and portion was enough as lunch.

Samgyeopsal, pig's feet, and bossam are really low-quality meat... They're full of fat and not worth the money. How can they sell this kind of meat at that price? The meat for galbitang is getting drier and the quantity is really small... I understand that prices are going up, but this is really too much.

Have known this restaurant for years, the food is just 10/10. It can be kind of pricy but you get what you paid for. Have mixed experience with the service but most of the times that I have been here the service have been great! This is a very popular restaurant so be sure to reserve on time. Very important to also call when you need to reserve because there is no online reservation. Last time I was here I accidentally reserved at Gogi Matcha in Cologne, Gogi matcha was their old name hence the mistake. But they were still kind enough to take us in, Lucky! All in all, great restaurant, kudos to the owner and also the people working there 👏🏼

Real pig soup! I've been to many Korean restaurants in many countries, but I've never been this satisfied with them. I wish I had been an exchange student in Dusseldorf.

The cold noodles are generous and so delicious😆😆 They also show you to the table very quickly. My husband, who doesn't even eat the seaweed soup I ordered, ate all of the seaweed soup that came with the bulgogi set because it was delicious hahaha

I ordered G5 for 48 euros, but seriously... the portion was small. No matter how much it is inflation, I think it is a misnomer to state that it is for 1-2 people. Even though Germany is not a country where meat is that expensive.. I thought it was imported pork from Korea because of the portion. The side dishes were delicious!

I had kimchi stew and soft tofu stew, the soft tofu was so-so, and the kimchi stew was delicious. I was eating gamjatang on the side, and it looked delicious. The price was reasonable and there were a lot of people.

Raw beef cold noodle is very good. Very authentic Korean food. Highly recommended, especially lunch set, which is good value for money.

"Bibimbap wasn't to my taste, kimchi-jjigae tasted very spicy, the banchan was very little. The waitress didn't really bother to refill the banchan. Also, consider giving kimchi as the main banchan - it doesn't make much sense if kimchi isn't there. The Maultaschen is okay, tastes good. The Korean pancake was not what I expected. The meat was okay - I ordered Dak Galbi and pork belly, I liked the Dak Galbi better. Minus point: There was no mobile ventilation like in other Korean grill restaurants

I really loved it, we got a really cute place to sit. Korean style, we needed to take our shoes off. But it was just perfect, the wagyu set meat was so good. We are coming back again.

Totally overpriced. Kimchi soup with tofu and seafood... The “seafood” is a joke. 3 small shrimps and a handful of mini seafood for 17€ is simply laughable. Recommended as a starter for 1/3 of the price.

The food was delicious but the waiter wasn't in a good mood and well, I can't understand pushing me out the door. So if you want a good and short Korean meal, I can recommend it. But dealing with the customer doesn't work at all. English: The food was good, but service was disappointing. I was about to exit the restaurant and the personnel pushed me out. I do understand that it can get busy, but its not a reason to push someone out immediately. It made my lunch experience unhappy.

Very tasty food and super helpful waiters. Made Korean BBQ for the first time. It won't be the last time... My personal highlight was the Iberico beef at the BBQ and the additionally ordered bibimbap with beef. The three of us shared everything and it was a cozy meal with great wine accompaniment (Pinot Blanc "Black Forest").

We were ignored and left out in the cold by 5 different members of staff even though we had a reservation. Never again !

I think the concept of grilling at the table is wonderful. Fun for the whole family. The meals were tasty and well prepared. Around €50 per person for food and drink. Gladly again.

Without a ventilation system, grilling meat at the next table is almost unbearable. Ventilation is required by opening the door. But it's really tasty and great value for money.
