Had the dogani-tang. Reminds me of Korea. Service is very friendly. Would recommend the place for family gatherings (very kid-friendly as well!). I did wonder whether the banchan was refillable.

The BEST BEST BEST Korean BBQ place in Germany. Same quality as in Korea! Service is also great as well. It tastes just like the pork belly + pork belly I had in Korea. Very good food, initially weak service Been there several times. The food and drinks are very good here, but the service seemed very confused on the first visit. Service was in the wrong order (all latecomers had their starters before we even ordered). No attention (despite the electric table bell) and very slowly (waiters kept running away and obviously had no sense of how long we had been sitting). On subsequent visits the service staff had it better under control and this chaos never occurred again.

I don’t know if I haven’t eaten the barbecue, but the spinal cord soup and condiments are really unpalatable. After two bites, the two of them looked at each other and couldn’t eat anymore. Please be rational and don’t be fooled. The only star is for the waiter, his attitude was pretty good

I recently went to Gogi Korean BBQ and had a fantastic experience. The meat was absolutely delicious – tender, juicy and perfectly marinated. The variety of sides and dips made the experience even better. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and the service was first class. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant and welcoming, ideal for a relaxing evening with friends or family. I would particularly like to highlight the option of grilling the meat yourself at the table - it made the whole experience very authentic. All in all, it was an excellent evening at Gogi Korean BBQ and I would highly recommend it to everyone. We'll definitely be back!

Among the Korean restaurants around here, the taste, customer service, and atmosphere are by far the best. Many of the employees are young, and they are very polite when serving customers.I can see that the employees are well-trained. Furthermore, the sunken kotatsu-style seats in the back are really relaxing. It's so relaxing and enjoyable that you'll feel like you're eating in Japan. If you also want to eat Korean food, please come to Kogi Matcha. I recommend it!

The bibimbap tasted amazing. Fresh vegetables and the portion was filling. The stone bowl ensured that the dish stayed warm throughout meal time. The beef bone broth was also delicious and came with rice & side dishes. Many locals of the cuisine dine here so that's always a good sign.

Gogi Matcha was one of my favorite restaurants till one year ago. Yesterday that I was there many dishes are not on the menu anymore which is a pity as Tteok-bokki and Fried-chicken are traditional Korean dishes and the ones served before where exquisite. But not any more. The Bulgogi with octopus is also gone. The service also decreased as many waiters are there but try not to see you or avoid your calls, unless you stand up and ask for service. And not to mentioned that my partner asked for a vegetarian meal and he got a soup with beef! and the waitress said nothing while serving until my partner asked about it and the reply was“the soup is not vegetarian”. So why to serve that? Not even apologizing for giving wrong information about the dish while ordering and for serving a dish that was in first place not requested. The food now is medium-low, it lost its exquisiteness and the WOW, to now simple and “x” that today is forgotten and no reason to come back. The atmosphere is mega loud, you might need ear covers and much probably cannot have a good conversation if you come with people. All in all, I’m very disappointed on how this restaurant turned out. Was so great that I cannot believe it became medium-low restaurant and most probably I’ll not visit again.

It was newly opened, so I went there with mixed feelings. It looks like the meat grill has completely changed and the menu has become more diverse!! Here's just that Korean japchae👍🏻👍🏻 The lunch menu is cheaper and I want to eat something set. I went and ate a bowl of soup and two bowls of rice in no time. Jeommattaenguri!!!

50\50 🫤 Meat was good but not enough, i mean it’s too little for one person & at the same time lil bit expensive. Vegetables waren fresh. Stuff very kindly & friendly. The bad side, Our clothes smelled like barbecue after we go home. I find that really bad and should make a better Exhaust system.

There was also a further contribution and the only spices available were pepper and salt. The ambience: My partner and I were shown to a terribly small table. So small that there was almost no space left on the table with the food and it felt very cramped. It was our first time there and no waiter had taken the time to briefly explain to us how the grill concept actually works. The "waiters" were obviously overwhelmed with the operation and had even forgotten to bring us plates to the table. Afterwards, we were missing a spoon for the oil that we had to put on the grill and the salt shaker was also broken. Sorry, but for the price of over 100 euros for two people, we expect a minimum level of quality, which is simply not the case here. We can only both strongly advise against this restaurant.

We have been customers in this restaurant for many years, the food is simply great and simply something different compared to the rest of the restaurant. The new furnishings of the restaurant are very successful, right down to the new menus, which are now much nicer. Nothing has changed in the tried and tested concept of the Korean barbecue restaurant and the food is still very tasty. Unfortunately, the table bells were removed during the renovation, which now leads to longer waiting times if you want to reorder something, for example. A pity. It's also a shame that they seem to have become a little more economical with the side dishes: if you ordered something back in the past, it was brought straight away. Not anymore, or only after repeated reminders. Otherwise: super friendly and pleasant service and always great! We will be back!

Do you want to eat authentically Korean food? Then come to Gogi!! Food like in Korea and that in Düsseldorf. The portions are good and the selection is original. A must-have if you're craving good meat or Korean soups! There were two of me there and it was perfect, you can chat while the meat is frying and discuss whether there is better kimchi than at Gogi. We went there 3 times during different visits to Dusseldorf. We always ate well and were well received. I recommend and will return (after having tried a 'competitor' which is reputable but which disappointed me).

Very large and therefore we could eat there without waiting even on weekends without making a reservation. However, vegetarian dishes are difficult to find, and the front area of ​​the restaurant in particular smells strongly of oil/fat. However, the service and food were great :)

We were passing through Düsseldorf. We waited outside for 30 minutes, we were first in line. As we had not reserved we were placed in the back of the restaurant and were forced to pay cash. I almost regretted not being able to eat the gamjatang that I had planned for because the timing wasn't right, but the pork soup I ate instead was so delicious that I scraped the bottom. I'm a fan of Korean food, so I often go to Korean restaurants while living in Germany, and it really tasted like what I had in Korea. I ate it yesterday, but I remember it again today.

Es wurde falsches essen an unseren tisch abgestellt, als qir es probierten merkten wir das es nicht unseres war. Wir haben die Bedienung darauf aufmerksam gemacht, auch das wir versehentlich davon gegessen hatten nur um zu beobachten das es von unseren Tisch direkt zum vorgesehenen kunden gebracht wurde. Das ältere asiatische pärchen hat uns leider nicht verstanden dann kam wohl der manager um uns zu sagen das wir andere gäste in ruhe essen lassen sollen. Ich werde dieses lokal nie wieder aufsuchen. Wer weiß was mir immer serviert wurde....

The best Korean in Düsseldorf!!! Loved bulgugi and squid. Every dish comes with several side dishes. Kimchi is great! Seafood pancake was exquisite- crispy on the outside and soft and juicy inside. Loved the texture! Portions are big. Very well seasoned and authentic taste. Much better than Bibimcup which I find overrated. There is a possibility of a grill. If you want to avoid cooking smoke and smell from the grills come before 18.00. Gets quite busy around 19.00. Service is polite and fast. Highly recommended!

Gitmeden önce rezervasyon yaptırmanızı tavsiye ediyorum, çat kapı gelen bir çok kişi ne yazık ki yer bulamadı. Çalışanlar ilgili ve hızlıydı. Evcil hayvan dostu olmalarını ayrıca takdir ettim. Genellikle memnun kaldığım restaurantta masalarda aspiratör olmamasını eksi puan olarak değerlendiriyorum. Etlerimizi yüksek ısıda pişirmek istediğimizde duman olur gerekçesi ile ısıtıcıyı kısarak müsaade etmek istemediler. İçerinin genel havası duman olunca giriş kapısını açarak çözüm bulmaya çalıştılar. Fiyat performans olarak pahalı bulduğumu söyleyebilirim.

Sehr schlechte Bedienung. Nach 30 Minuten kam keine servier zu uns, obwohl wir nach der Öffnung die ersten im Restaurant waren. Alle Tische um uns, an denen asiatische Leute saßen, wurden vor uns bedient. Wir mussten die Bedienung mit unseren händen an unser Tisch ziehen. Nach dem das Essen serviert wurde, wurden auch die Saucen, Besteck und Getränke vergessen und wir mussten explizit danach fragen. Wir haben das Gefühl dass die Bedienung bevorzugt bekannte Kunden zuerst bedienen. Das Restaurant war zu diesem Zeitpunkt nur halb voll, es kann somit nicht daran liegen dass die Bedienung überfordert war. Das Essen ist überteuert und nicht das Geld wert. Nicht weiter zu empfehlen

Very bad experience, first! being handed a Korean bill when paying? Zero German or English, have no idea what you ordered, at the bottom of the paper, handwritten: 123.80 euro please. When we asked for a proper receipt, all of a sudden the bill became 120 euro AND there is a bottle of water we didn’t order! I mean this is just very fishy and horrible behavior! we will never comeback again that’s for sure!!!

Wenn sie hierher zum Essen kommen haben sie besser keine anderen Pläne für den Abend. Der Qualm vom Grill steht in der Luft so das man es keine 15min am stück aushält. Ich roch danach als hätte ich ne 8std Schicht in nee Pommes Bude gehabt. Kopfschmerzen und tränende Augen gab es auch dazu. Über 120eur für 2personen unter diesen Umständen ist eine Zumutung.

It's amazing here, the service is really good and the food, wow... I loved it! I went here with my brother and my parents (my mom is Korean) and she said it was better than in Korea! They wanted to come back, but we are trying something else. But I would say, come try it yourself! And once again, it's truly amazing❤

Ich war schon einige Male hier gewesen und ich kann es nur jeden weiterempfehlen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und schnell. Das Restaurant ist sehr authentisch. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis wirklich top. Man kriegt eine Riesenauswahl an Fleisch und Gemüse. Zudem kommen immer on top Banchan. Das Fleisch schmeckt super frisch. Aber auch das Gemüse hat top Qualität. Besonders würde ich das Iberico Set und den Pilz Set empfehlen. Ich komme weiterhin öfters hierhin. Macht weiter so!

Authentieke gerechten uit de Koreaanse keuken aan een kbbq-tafek. Gedeeltelijk ingericht met zitgedeelte op de grond waarbij schoenen uitgetrokken moeten worden. Vriendelijke bediening die het wel flink druk heeft. Porties lijken wel kleiner geworden of prijzen zijn verhoogd in de afgelopen tijd. Side dishes worden gratis bijgevuld als je het vraagt. Reserveren is nodig als je verzekerd wilt zijn van direct plek. Tip: niet je nieuwste outfit aantrekken vanwege de bbq-geur.

Tolles koreanisches Restaurant in der Stadtmitte. Fokus liegt hier auf Korean Barbecue. Trotzdem gibt es hier aber auch die ganzen traditionellen Gerichte wie Fried Chicken oder Bibimbap. Alles sehr lecker. Service ist auch gut. Sehr zu empfehlen ist hinten im Restaurant ein Bereich wo man sich auf einen Boden setzen kann. Wirklich sehr gemütlich.

We came here for Korean Bbq and were pleasantly satisfied. This restaurant is surprisingly big although from the outside there is no clue of it. We sat in the back side of the restaurant where we needed to take off our shoes, very interesting. There is a button on the table to call for service. Food was tasty. We took bbq menu for two(beef), with good quality but limited portion. It was no problem because the additional ordered cold noodles were delicious and i was happy to try them in the same visit.

Freundliches Personal, und das Essen ist sehr lecker. Ich habe selten sehr weiches Fleisch gegessen, Qualität der Fleisch wird hier definitiv beachtet. Ich liebe das Rib Eye, daher haben wir von unserem Fleischteller noch einen 2ten Nachschlag gegönnt. Am Ende haben wir mehr mals 200€ ausgegeben, aber es hat sich gelohnt!! 😍

滿道地的韓國餐廳，韓式烤肉可以選擇單點的肉或是套餐，烤肉套餐有牛套餐、豬套餐和伊比利豬套餐，可惜沒有牛+豬搭配的。我們這次點的是牛肉套餐。 肉的品質不錯，沒有事先醃過，烤熟後搭配醬汁和生菜好吃，但沒有提供鹽，所以另外找服務人員要了鹽，還是配鹽比較好吃也比較習慣。 套餐有附湯跟小菜。另外點了一泡菜個海鮮豆腐鍋，沒有注意是套餐，所以也有附白飯跟小菜。泡菜海鮮豆腐鍋微辣，湯頭味道很好，不會太酸，有些餐廳的泡菜海鮮豆腐鍋容易做得太酸，反而沒有海鮮的鹹鮮味。 室內燈光有點暗，大部分用餐的都是東方人，想念亞洲菜的時候可以前來用餐。

Sehr gutes Essen. Es muss aber Mal eine Abluftanlage eingebaut werden weil man sonst komplett nach gegrillten riecht. Essen und Beilagen sind hier aber top. Etwas teuer aber sein Geld wert.

We ordered Pork Set B, which already includes a soup and salad (no rice included) which are very tasty. It costed 32 euros which only have 4-5 pcs. of pork meat. We also bought mushrooms (5 euro) but its a big portion with different types of mushroom. Galbi tang is also deliciuos but the Tagessuppe is more delicious and tasy for me.

Meiner Meinung nach einer der besten koreanischen Restaurants, die ich in Deutschland getestet habe. Das Fleisch für das Kbbq ist frisch, die ganzen Banchan schmecken wunderbar und man fühlt sich einfach wohl im Restaurant. Ich liebe den Essbereich, an dem man die Schuhe ausziehen muss - das macht das Ganze noch bequemer. Besonders kann ich ddas Naengmyeon (kalte Nudelsuppe) empfehlen 🥰 das passt wunderbar zum heißen Grillfleisch und ist etwas, was man nicht überall essen kann

독일 온 후로 한국식당 중 고기마차가 가장 한국맛이랑 비슷해서 좋아했고 한식먹고 싶으면 자주가고 제 주변 독일친구나 외국친구에게 추천해왔어요. 그런데 이번에 방문했을 때 떡볶이에 오이가 있더라구요? 같이 간 외국친구가 처음에 떡볶이 맛이 예전과 다르다고 해서 그냥 오늘은 다른가? 했는데 중간정도 먹었을때 오이랑 양파보고 알았어요. 오이무침반찬인거 지금까지 제 최애 식당이었는데 진짜 실망했어요. 반찬 남은거 넣은게 아니길 바랄뿐이네요. 지금까지 만족했던 식사때문에 별 2개로 남깁니다.

店長さんらしき方がめちゃくちゃ親切でした。お料理も美味しくてまたデュッセルドルフに行ったら必ず寄りたい！

한국식당에온것같아요! 뒤셀도르프 올 때마다 방문합니다. 너무 맛있어요.이틀내로 재방문예정입니다!! 그런데 오늘은 뼈해장국안에있는 숙주맛이 좀 간것같아요....

Ein sehr tolles Restaurant. Der Service ist exzellent, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen schmeckt wahnsinnig gut. Wir würden hier immer wieder essen wollen.

氛围超级好的韩国餐馆店，服务很周到，周末晚上没有提前预约但也没有长时间排位。非常推荐海鲜饼和冷面，烤牛肉也很新鲜很好吃，还送了很多小菜和一份牛骨汤。

Food is tasty. We had BBQ beef it was good. The rice bowl was with squid. I didn’t like it that much.
