"Bibimbap wasn't to my taste, kimchi-jjigae tasted very spicy, the banchan was very little. The waitress didn't really bother to refill the banchan. Also, consider giving kimchi as the main banchan - it doesn't make much sense if kimchi isn't there. The Maultaschen is okay, tastes good. The Korean pancake was not what I expected. The meat was okay - I ordered Dak Galbi and pork belly, I liked the Dak Galbi better. Minus point: There was no mobile ventilation like in other Korean grill restaurants

Totally overpriced. Kimchi soup with tofu and seafood... The “seafood” is a joke. 3 small shrimps and a handful of mini seafood for 17€ is simply laughable. Recommended as a starter for 1/3 of the price.

I really loved it, we got a really cute place to sit. Korean style, we needed to take our shoes off. But it was just perfect, the wagyu set meat was so good. We are coming back again.

The food was delicious but the waiter wasn't in a good mood and well, I can't understand pushing me out the door. So if you want a good and short Korean meal, I can recommend it. But dealing with the customer doesn't work at all. English: The food was good, but service was disappointing. I was about to exit the restaurant and the personnel pushed me out. I do understand that it can get busy, but its not a reason to push someone out immediately. It made my lunch experience unhappy.

Very tasty food and super helpful waiters. Made Korean BBQ for the first time. It won't be the last time... My personal highlight was the Iberico beef at the BBQ and the additionally ordered bibimbap with beef. The three of us shared everything and it was a cozy meal with great wine accompaniment (Pinot Blanc "Black Forest").

I think the concept of grilling at the table is wonderful. Fun for the whole family. The meals were tasty and well prepared. Around €50 per person for food and drink. Gladly again.

Without a ventilation system, grilling meat at the next table is almost unbearable. Ventilation is required by opening the door. But it's really tasty and great value for money.

Went here multiple times including my birthday. The food was good and the experience was fun, staff was very friendly and helpful. This place is also very authentic (there were almost only Korean people there when I went) and not too busy. I’d definitely recommend this place if you want to try Korean BBQ!

A relatively authentic Korean restaurant, the taste is not bad. If you want to grill the meat, I recommend the marinated beef, which is delicious when grilled. The bibimbap is also pretty good. The price is overall expensive.

The reason why we visit Dusseldorf. Gogi will give you the genuine K-BBQ experience. The quality of beef and pork is excellent, but Yukhwe and Neng Myun are must-tries. The restaurant is spacious enough to accommodate parties of any sizes and the quality of service and attentiveness is superb! Very reasonably priced and both lunch and dinner options are great. Reservation is highly recommended and try to reserve the sit-down seats on the back for full comfort ;)

We had a great time. The food was amazing, easy to cook and the servers are very nice. I recommend you to maybe make a reservation if possible or be there at the opening time because is quite busy.

Super yummy meal on a cold day. We ordered bibimnaengmyeon and dweajji gukbab and it was perfect. The pancakes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The staff were all friendly and nice, highly recommended!

I can highly recommend Gogi!! It tasted super delicious. The food was chopped up well. I mixed soy sauce and Sri Ratcha together and it tasted delicious together. There's nothing left. Afterwards I felt like a little second helping. Yummy 😋🌻🌱🍱

It’s understandable that without reservation it will be full. But 40 minutes of waiting when there is clearly tables free and not being seated as we freeze outside seems unreasonable to the majority of people.

The food was very tastefull and the service was good. No complains exept that a big dog was allowed inside the restaurant. Rather have no animals next to the eating tables.

The concept is authentic, the ambience is convincing and the food is good. We had a table grill with various meat platters, vegetables and mushrooms. For a price of 50€pp. In the end, however, I didn't think the quantity was enough. The visit was worth it once, but I won't go there a second time.

Personally, it was a really gloomy day and I really wanted to go to Korea, but eating pork soup here gave me so much comfort. The owner is also kind. It's really delicious here. There are a lot of side dishes too. It seemed like it could be refilled too. This is just Korea. I'm so grateful that a place like this exists. I'm going to come here to eat meat next time I'm in a good mood. I ate well.

There were already several customers waiting before the store opened. I ordered lunch L5. The portion was very sufficient. There were 4 types of kimchi/appetizers + soup. The soup was delicious and hot enough. The rice was dry + hard and the bowl was very thin. I ordered an extra bowl, and if I remember correctly, there was an extra charge. The main dish is pork slices stir-fried with mixed vegetables. I really like the sweet taste. It goes great with white rice. The price for lunch is good enough👍🏻The staff is very friendly

Worth a try for everyone! I've often brought friends with me and so far everyone has loved it. The only drawback is the price but you definitely get something for it!

Unfortunately their products weren't fresh and we got food poisoning. The prices have also risen sharply but the portions are smaller. Luckily the new sojuBar is opening soon. The only thing worth having here is lunch. Based on my experience, I won't be visiting this restaurant again. It's just not done professionally. Employees smoke in the entrance area, employees sleep in the dining room and no exhaust system! Better go to HotIron, best price performance and exhaust air above the tables!!!!

Good concept for original Korean BBQ with integrated grill plates directly at the tables. Saturation supplements could be a little more diverse, hence the deduction. Nice selection of soju.

Korean BBQ out of this world. We had a crazy evening here. The food overall and especially the meat was incredibly good. We will come back next time we visit Düsseldorf.

I had seafood and green onion pancakes, a set meal of beef ribs, and a set meal of pork soup for lunch, and it was so delicious!!

Had the dogani-tang. Reminds me of Korea. Service is very friendly. Would recommend the place for family gatherings (very kid-friendly as well!). I did wonder whether the banchan was refillable.

This restaurant looks expensive but they have lunch menu set which I believe is affordable at it’s price. It was delicious and the quality of food is outstanding. The service was also great. A place worth to visit and try.

The soups on the menu are very delicious. When the weather is cold, eating a bowl of hot pork soup with rice is very warm. It's a pity that there is no fried chicken to order. The kimchi pancake and seafood pancake are both crispy and delicious, but also relatively oily. The service attitude is very enthusiastic. The price is moderate, I will come again next time.

The BEST BEST BEST Korean BBQ place in Germany. Same quality as in Korea! Service is also great as well. It tastes just like the pork belly + pork belly I had in Korea. The soybean paste stew and kimchi stew were so delicious that I almost cried. The kimchi pancakes were crispy and all the side dishes were delicious. + Additional information from yesterday: Seasoned ribs are the best... I'm sad to be alive...

Very good food, initially weak service Been there several times. The food and drinks are very good here, but the service seemed very confused on the first visit. Service was in the wrong order (all latecomers had their starters before we even ordered). No attention (despite the electric table bell) and very slowly (waiters kept running away and obviously had no sense of how long we had been sitting). On subsequent visits the service staff had it better under control and this chaos never occurred again.

I don’t know if I haven’t eaten the barbecue, but the spinal cord soup and condiments are really unpalatable. After two bites, the two of them looked at each other and couldn’t eat anymore. Please be rational and don’t be fooled. The only star is for the waiter, his attitude was pretty good

Offer nice lunch sets. Very valuable lunch choices, i visited many times. Seems menu changeed. Each time i visited food were very yammy. Very busy and popular place. Lots interesting choose.

I recently went to Gogi Korean BBQ and had a fantastic experience. The meat was absolutely delicious – tender, juicy and perfectly marinated. The variety of sides and dips made the experience even better. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and the service was first class. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant and welcoming, ideal for a relaxing evening with friends or family. I would particularly like to highlight the option of grilling the meat yourself at the table - it made the whole experience very authentic. All in all, it was an excellent evening at Gogi Korean BBQ and I would highly recommend it to everyone. We'll definitely be back!

We ate super well, the small Tokyo neighborhood is not much but this restaurant is super good. We loved the food, the service was incredible, we would definitely repeat.

Among the Korean restaurants around here, the taste, customer service, and atmosphere are by far the best. Many of the employees are young, and they are very polite when serving customers.I can see that the employees are well-trained. Furthermore, the sunken kotatsu-style seats in the back are really relaxing. It's so relaxing and enjoyable that you'll feel like you're eating in Japan. If you also want to eat Korean food, please come to Kogi Matcha. I recommend it!

The bibimbap tasted amazing. Fresh vegetables and the portion was filling. The stone bowl ensured that the dish stayed warm throughout meal time. The beef bone broth was also delicious and came with rice & side dishes. Many locals of the cuisine dine here so that's always a good sign.

Gogi Matcha was one of my favorite restaurants till one year ago. Yesterday that I was there many dishes are not on the menu anymore which is a pity as Tteok-bokki and Fried-chicken are traditional Korean dishes and the ones served before where exquisite. But not any more. The Bulgogi with octopus is also gone. The service also decreased as many waiters are there but try not to see you or avoid your calls, unless you stand up and ask for service. And not to mentioned that my partner asked for a vegetarian meal and he got a soup with beef! and the waitress said nothing while serving until my partner asked about it and the reply was“the soup is not vegetarian”. So why to serve that? Not even apologizing for giving wrong information about the dish while ordering and for serving a dish that was in first place not requested. The food now is medium-low, it lost its exquisiteness and the WOW, to now simple and “x” that today is forgotten and no reason to come back. The atmosphere is mega loud, you might need ear covers and much probably cannot have a good conversation if you come with people. All in all, I’m very disappointed on how this restaurant turned out. Was so great that I cannot believe it became medium-low restaurant and most probably I’ll not visit again.

It was newly opened, so I went there with mixed feelings. It looks like the meat grill has completely changed and the menu has become more diverse!! Here's just that Korean japchae👍🏻👍🏻 The lunch menu is cheaper and I want to eat something set. I went and ate a bowl of soup and two bowls of rice in no time. Jeommattaenguri!!!

50\50 🫤 Meat was good but not enough, i mean it’s too little for one person & at the same time lil bit expensive. Vegetables waren fresh. Stuff very kindly & friendly. The bad side, Our clothes smelled like barbecue after we go home. I find that really bad and should make a better Exhaust system.

There was also a further contribution and the only spices available were pepper and salt. The ambience: My partner and I were shown to a terribly small table. So small that there was almost no space left on the table with the food and it felt very cramped. It was our first time there and no waiter had taken the time to briefly explain to us how the grill concept actually works. The "waiters" were obviously overwhelmed with the operation and had even forgotten to bring us plates to the table. Afterwards, we were missing a spoon for the oil that we had to put on the grill and the salt shaker was also broken. Sorry, but for the price of over 100 euros for two people, we expect a minimum level of quality, which is simply not the case here. We can only both strongly advise against this restaurant.

We have been customers in this restaurant for many years, the food is simply great and simply something different compared to the rest of the restaurant. The new furnishings of the restaurant are very successful, right down to the new menus, which are now much nicer. Nothing has changed in the tried and tested concept of the Korean barbecue restaurant and the food is still very tasty. Unfortunately, the table bells were removed during the renovation, which now leads to longer waiting times if you want to reorder something, for example. A pity. It's also a shame that they seem to have become a little more economical with the side dishes: if you ordered something back in the past, it was brought straight away. Not anymore, or only after repeated reminders. Otherwise: super friendly and pleasant service and always great! We will be back!

Do you want to eat authentically Korean food? Then come to Gogi!! Food like in Korea and that in Düsseldorf. The portions are good and the selection is original. A must-have if you're craving good meat or Korean soups! There were two of me there and it was perfect, you can chat while the meat is frying and discuss whether there is better kimchi than at Gogi. Definitely my favorite restaurant when I want to eat Korean. Thanks.

We went there 3 times during different visits to Dusseldorf. We always ate well and were well received. I recommend and will return (after having tried a 'competitor' which is reputable but which disappointed me).

Very large and therefore we could eat there without waiting even on weekends without making a reservation. However, vegetarian dishes are difficult to find, and the front area of ​​the restaurant in particular smells strongly of oil/fat. However, the service and food were great :)

We were passing through Düsseldorf. We waited outside for 30 minutes, we were first in line. As we had not reserved we were placed in the back of the restaurant and were forced to pay cash. We were served after the others. The waitress was unfriendly. They didn't speak English. Really nothing exceptional about this Korean BBQ. Go on your way.

I almost regretted not being able to eat the gamjatang that I had planned for because the timing wasn't right, but the pork soup I ate instead was so delicious that I scraped the bottom. I'm a fan of Korean food, so I often go to Korean restaurants while living in Germany, and it really tasted like what I had in Korea. I ate it yesterday, but I remember it again today.

Es wurde falsches essen an unseren tisch abgestellt, als qir es probierten merkten wir das es nicht unseres war. Wir haben die Bedienung darauf aufmerksam gemacht, auch das wir versehentlich davon gegessen hatten nur um zu beobachten das es von unseren Tisch direkt zum vorgesehenen kunden gebracht wurde. Das ältere asiatische pärchen hat uns leider nicht verstanden dann kam wohl der manager um uns zu sagen das wir andere gäste in ruhe essen lassen sollen. Ich werde dieses lokal nie wieder aufsuchen. Wer weiß was mir immer serviert wurde....
