Everything tastes really good. I can recommend the barbecue. It's a little more fun with several people. I would only compromise a little on the service and ambience. This can certainly be done better, but there seems to be a lot of stress when it comes to service. When it comes to ambience, you just can't get much more out of the space.

Delicious food, you prepare the meat and fish yourself on the table grill. The side dishes are organized on a buffet. Only the service is a bit slow. Not for people who can't tolerate spicy food.

We had dinner on a Friday evening. The employees were very accommodating and explained the concept of ordering via the QR code to us right from the start. At the beginning we were offered a mixed platter so we could try things out a bit. The food was very tasty and there was something for everyone. There are also delicious side dishes at the buffet that you can get again and again.

We took all-you-can-eat Halal. There were two counters at the entrance with side dishes and snacks. Except for the spring rolls, you could eat the rest as a halal consumer. At the beginning we were served a platter with various types of meat, fish and shrimps. If you order the halal version, you also get leg of lamb and duck. Afterwards we ordered more and tried all the meats. We liked Prime Ostyster blade and black pepper beef the most. The plate on which you fry the food is changed approximately every 30-40 minutes. The service was nice. You don't have to wait long for orders. You are not limited in time. You can sit as long as you want.

The restaurant has an interesting concept, but it fails due to the quality of the food. The warm buffet was mostly cold, some of the meat was still frozen on the plate and not necessarily seasoned very attractively. The table grills do not provide enough heat to actually grill the meat; it is more likely to braise it in its own juice. The marinade and the meat juice will eventually burn miserably and of course become pitch black, which you will then find again on the fresh meat. Plus, the hood doesn't absorb odors well, so you end up smelling like you've worked a night shift at McDonald's at the deep fryer. The service was friendly, tried hard, but also a bit clueless. The four of us ended up with 45€ per person including BBQ all you can eat and drinks. For the price I expected a little more.

If you really think you've seen everything, please visit this restaurant again. Reserved as a group of 6 and immediately had a strange impression. The food doesn't seem really fresh or of acceptable quality for the price. Unchilled “sushi” in a kind of Tupperware container was just one of the highlights… We then fled again after 30 minutes, but we were able to talk to the operator sensibly and we got a 50% discount on the meal. They tried to apologize with a piece of Merci chocolate, but I think given the number of Merci bars provided in the checkout area (6 large packs), it wasn't the first time that this had happened. We then went to another competitor in Düsseldorf and were happy.

We tested this restaurant after a recommendation from Instagram. We stayed away from the sushi as it looked very stale. Cocktails were served with whipped cream. Generally made a very dirty impression. The staff was polite. We tried it but wouldn't go again.

By far the worst restaurant I've ever been to. The service was unfriendly, nothing was explained to us and our questions were answered rudely. Many of the waiters could neither speak German nor English. The buffet was a joke, about 10 almost empty bowls that were absolutely cold and inedible. There were also no signs to tell what was what. The meat was like rubber and didn't taste good at all. BUT we ordered HALAL and were brought pork! We had two people in our group who eat pork, thanks to them we recognized it! That's NOT possible! and it would be nice if the waitress didn't always press her arm with her jacket into my face when she turned on the grill or felt like she pushed me out of the chair while I was eating.

It was a shame that you couldn't sit at the tables that had the integrated grill. Almost everyone sits at a table with a gas plate on it. But you have the uncomfortable base like the large table where the grill is integrated. You smell a lot of smoke afterwards, even though it is advertised as “smokeless”. The extractor hood doesn't help that much. The staff barely understands German. Food was ok, quality didn't convince us that much. We expect more for the price. Some of the vegetables were dried out. Salad wasn't washed properly and the meat wasn't of the best quality either. We imagined Korean BBQ differently. Everything had a very Chinese touch and the sauces were sweet and sour, ketchup or mayo. In addition, no difference was seen compared to the premium all you can eat. What did we pay €5 per head more for than our friend? We don't know 😄 We never received the supplements listed. Therefore we give 3/5 stars 🌟

I was completely amazed by Foodoor! As a lover of Korean BBQ, I was very excited and the restaurant exceeded my expectations. The concept of grilling your own meat right at the table creates an interactive and cozy atmosphere that is perfect for a special dinner with friends or family. The selection of meat, especially the tender beef and marinated pork, was of the highest quality and tasted amazing! I was particularly impressed by the side dishes - from kimchi to fresh vegetable variations that were perfectly matched to the BBQ. Everything was served with attention to detail, and the sauces were to die for. The service was also good - the team was attentive, explained everything to us patiently and was always there when we needed help. The atmosphere is modern but not that cozy, and you immediately feel at home. Foodoor is definitely my new favorite restaurant for Korean barbecue in Düsseldorf! Totally recommended for anyone looking for a Korean BBQ experience.

Korean-style BBQ. Just like a Viennese-style schnitzel is not an original Viennese schnitzel made from veal. So this is not a real Korean restaurant, unfortunately you can taste it. Run by Chinese. My stars are because of the friendly staff

I've never seen a dirtier restaurant in my life than this and at these prices. The pricing for this ambience is simply outrageous. Dirty cutlery lies on the even dirtier floor, no one explains what you have to do and after 5 minutes you smell like a chip shop. We got up and went… underground

Unfortunately the service was absolutely not good. Totally overwhelmed and stressed. Employees who barely understood German. The buffet wasn't refilled. Everything only received on request. Too bad! The concept is good and so is the meat! Tastes excellent.

This cute Korean BBQ restaurant is built with different systems. You can choose between halal (certified) vegetarian, meat or premium with fish. (all you can eat) Each of the guests is free to choose side dishes or salad from the small buffet (salad, tofu, fried food, rice, etc. Depending on which menu has been chosen, the first plate of meat/fish/veg is brought to the table to be grilled You grill your own meat however you want. If you wish, you can simply select additional meat using the tablet and bring it to the table. The staff is great and if you're there for the first time, they're happy to explain anything you ask. Well, what can you say, you can only evaluate what is available and that is not very much. But from the beginning: on August 31st. I called to order 2 pieces of Korean fried chicken for pickup the next day. I was assured on the phone that I would get 16 pieces for €20 + side dishes and drinks as a free bonus since we were picking up. The next day we went there and the waitress apparently “didn’t know” anything. We were then offered 6 pieces for €13.50 and to wait - only they are cheaper on Uber eats (6 pieces for €11.50) if you order delivery from the restaurant there. We left very disappointed with such a cheeky offer of unfinished things and no Korean fried chicken. They weren't really Koreans either, as only pure Chinese was spoken there.

Average restaurant, the price-performance ratio is not right and is really not justifiable. Unfortunately the evening was too expensive and it didn't taste good.

I rate restaurants relatively speaking, so my expectations are high or low depending on what you would normally expect. There are a few Korean BBQ restaurants in Düsseldorf and the ones I've visited are better in everything. The food, service and ambience don't come close to the other real Korean BBQ. The main reason why I leave a bad review is the air quality in the restaurant. We and people at other tables had to cough regularly, so it was an unpleasant experience for me to sit in the restaurant. Afterwards I also noticed that I smelled completely like a barbecue, which I didn't have to that extent with the other Korean BBQs.

The service was very nice and helpful. We were first explained how it works and prepared it on site, then we were able to do it ourselves. The only drawback was the online map, which did not work properly on our devices. Unfortunately there was no “paper version”.

We were in the restaurant with 6 people at the weekend. The grilled meat was very tasty and there is also halal meat. The buffet with some warm side dishes was unfortunately rather lukewarm to cold. Priced a bit too high for what is on offer. The service was satisfactory, as you have to order drinks and meat using your cell phone.

The service is magical, BUT: - Eating a la carte, we both left food, only ate the little things that had been served beforehand, and paid 83 euros, - The presentation was subpar to say the least. Udon noodles were swimming in brown sauce, the tofu was sour, bagged onions, zero fresh vegetables and all for 30 euros - Likewise the starter, glass noodles, floated over the plate, same dark brown sauce, loveless. - Tiger shrimp was more fat and batter than shrimp, not deveined and completely dry. - Anyone who would like to cram in large quantities of cheap meat and fish is in good hands here. Everyone else would rather go to one of the other Korean restaurants that Düsseldorf has to offer, or cook for themselves, as I have been doing for years.

The food was ok. Nothing special. The website is not updated. It says that all you can eat and a la carte are available, but actually they only offer all you can eat. The worst thing for me was that they did not accept credit cards. Only EC or cash. To me that's a deal breaker in 2024. I would not return.

Would not recommend. The lightning was dark, atmosphere gloomy and unhygienic, service terrible (we were not even asked for drinks). Food did not appear fresh. They also kept some sushi out in the open, uncovered, and not refrigerated. On top of that way too loud k-pop music. We tried the food, stood up and left. Horror

The pictures posted in other reviews of the buffet are 100% correct. They show exactly the two buffet chests that are set up there and exactly the contents that were served today. We were shown the table and asked if we had ever had a Korean buffet, we said no, then there was a short explanation: first there is a plate with all kinds of meat, then you can order new meat and all the other ingredients using the mobile phone app Gather things at the front, sushi is still in the works, that will come a little later. The left buffet refrigeration was labeled so you could read what was in it, the right refrigeration you had to guess. Salad was now easy to recognize and edamame, but you had to try certain ingredients to find out that they were too spicy for you, and for three things I still don't know what I ate/tried. Therefore 1 star deducted for the food. When it comes to service, I would have liked that we were the first and only people in the restaurant at the time, that if you know the information: never had Korean BBQ, you would also present the buffet counters to the guests and ask if there were any questions about certain dishes we have kimchi or something similar. (I had never eaten it before) That's why I deducted a point here, the time was there. I deducted 2 points for the ambience, when you come into the restaurant there are nice tables with benches in the front and a built-in grill in the middle, but you are led into the back room, chairs, a portable camping grill on the table, we could and chose every table in the back room, but were not allowed to go to the front. 2nd star deducted, opposite the buffet was the counter for drinks, and I think also the entrance to the kitchen, you were constantly in contact with the cellars, so when choosing you had to be more careful not to stand in anyone's way than to get in the way Enjoy. As to whether I would go again, yes, but I would try other Korean BBQs first since this was my first time.

We ordered the helal BBQ. Very, very expensive and doesn't taste good quality. You get a lot of meat, which like the buffet wasn't fresh at all, was very dry. And there were flies on the food everywhere. Wouldn't come again.

The food was served quickly and the service was quick too. However, the price is far too high for what is offered. The vegetables weren't really fresh, and for this price I expect more care and quality. Staff should also work in appropriate clothing; It was a bit irritating that the waiters served in everyday clothes while the guests were better dressed. I can't understand the positive reviews of this restaurant at all. It would be urgently necessary to adjust the prices, to train the staff better and, above all, to offer fresh goods at the buffet.

A lot of food was brought, but it wasn't all that tasty. The waiter told me that I couldn't season the food before putting it on the grill because otherwise the smoke would stink. So I'm only allowed to put unseasoned food on the grill plate even though spices are provided and I'm supposed to season (?) at the end. The fruit spritzers were so watery, I've never had such a bad apple spritzer.

We wanted to pay separately by card - if you want to pay separately by card, this is only possible for one person and the other person can only pay in cash afterwards; I have never witnessed anything like this.

Very good all you can eat barbecue. The meat selection is extensive and very well seasoned to share. Fans of Korean cuisine will get their money's worth here. There is a rich side dish buffet and the service is very quick! Orders are placed via tablet, but you can contact the wait staff if you have any special requests. Free parking behind the building completes the offer. So if you're very hungry or just like the selection, this is the right place for you.

This type of buffet was a completely new experience for me, but I really enjoyed it. The food was very tasty and you were always taken care of when something was needed. At rush hour it is quite loud due to the narrowness and abundance of people.
