Average restaurant, the price-performance ratio is not right and is really not justifiable. Unfortunately the evening was too expensive and it didn't taste good.

Well, what can you say, you can only evaluate what is available and that is not very much. But from the beginning: on August 31st. I called to order 2 pieces of Korean fried chicken for pickup the next day. I was assured on the phone that I would get 16 pieces for €20 + side dishes and drinks as a free bonus since we were picking up. The next day we went there and the waitress apparently “didn’t know” anything. We were then offered 6 pieces for €13.50 and to wait - only they are cheaper on Uber eats (6 pieces for €11.50) if you order delivery from the restaurant there. We left very disappointed with such a cheeky offer of unfinished things and no Korean fried chicken. They weren't really Koreans either, as only pure Chinese was spoken there.

Delicious food, with lots of choice! The service was great, our grill plate was changed frequently so that it always stayed clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. Gladly again 👍👍

I rate restaurants relatively speaking, so my expectations are high or low depending on what you would normally expect. There are a few Korean BBQ restaurants in Düsseldorf and the ones I've visited are better in everything. The food, service and ambience don't come close to the other real Korean BBQ. The main reason why I leave a bad review is the air quality in the restaurant. We and people at other tables had to cough regularly, so it was an unpleasant experience for me to sit in the restaurant. Afterwards I also noticed that I smelled completely like a barbecue, which I didn't have to that extent with the other Korean BBQs.

Food was very tasty and the staff was very friendly. The people are so accommodating and drinks/meat are brought super quick!

I was there with my daughter, the food is very tasty, you can eat as much as you want until you get full, the owner/manager is very polite as well as the staff. We were super happy, since I paid with a card I couldn't give a tip, I'm sorry for the guys but you were great. Thanks to the entire team. 👍👍👍

The service was great even though it was a Saturday with a lot of people. The food was delicious, I liked the Korean Bulgogi best, and the drink selection was great, I liked the Haiwaii Wilde best

The service was very nice and helpful. We were first explained how it works and prepared it on site, then we were able to do it ourselves. The only drawback was the online map, which did not work properly on our devices. Unfortunately there was no “paper version”.

We were in the restaurant with 6 people at the weekend. The grilled meat was very tasty and there is also halal meat. The buffet with some warm side dishes was unfortunately rather lukewarm to cold. Priced a bit too high for what is on offer. The service was satisfactory, as you have to order drinks and meat using your cell phone.

The service is magical, BUT: - Eating a la carte, we both left food, only ate the little things that had been served beforehand, and paid 83 euros, - The presentation was subpar to say the least. Udon noodles were swimming in brown sauce, the tofu was sour, bagged onions, zero fresh vegetables and all for 30 euros - Likewise the starter, glass noodles, floated over the plate, same dark brown sauce, loveless. - Tiger shrimp was more fat and batter than shrimp, not deveined and completely dry. - Anyone who would like to cram in large quantities of cheap meat and fish is in good hands here. Everyone else would rather go to one of the other Korean restaurants that Düsseldorf has to offer, or cook for themselves, as I have been doing for years.

Would not recommend. The lightning was dark, atmosphere gloomy and unhygienic, service terrible (we were not even asked for drinks). Food did not appear fresh. They also kept some sushi out in the open, uncovered, and not refrigerated. On top of that way too loud k-pop music. We tried the food, stood up and left. Horror

The food was ok. Nothing special. The website is not updated. It says that all you can eat and a la carte are available, but actually they only offer all you can eat. The worst thing for me was that they did not accept credit cards. Only EC or cash. To me that's a deal breaker in 2024. I would not return.

The pictures posted in other reviews of the buffet are 100% correct. They show exactly the two buffet chests that are set up there and exactly the contents that were served today. We were shown the table and asked if we had ever had a Korean buffet, we said no, then there was a short explanation: first there is a plate with all kinds of meat, then you can order new meat and all the other ingredients using the mobile phone app Gather things at the front, sushi is still in the works, that will come a little later. The left buffet refrigeration was labeled so you could read what was in it, the right refrigeration you had to guess. Salad was now easy to recognize and edamame, but you had to try certain ingredients to find out that they were too spicy for you, and for three things I still don't know what I ate/tried. Therefore 1 star deducted for the food. When it comes to service, I would have liked that we were the first and only people in the restaurant at the time, that if you know the information: never had Korean BBQ, you would also present the buffet counters to the guests and ask if there were any questions about certain dishes we have kimchi or something similar. (I had never eaten it before) That's why I deducted a point here, the time was there. I deducted 2 points for the ambience, when you come into the restaurant there are nice tables with benches in the front and a built-in grill in the middle, but you are led into the back room, chairs, a portable camping grill on the table, we could and chose every table in the back room, but were not allowed to go to the front. 2nd star deducted, opposite the buffet was the counter for drinks, and I think also the entrance to the kitchen, you were constantly in contact with the cellars, so when choosing you had to be more careful not to stand in anyone's way than to get in the way Enjoy. As to whether I would go again, yes, but I would try other Korean BBQs first since this was my first time.

For the money you can eat much better elsewhere. Grilling at the table is really fun.

The food was served quickly and the service was quick too. However, the price is far too high for what is offered. The vegetables weren't really fresh, and for this price I expect more care and quality. Staff should also work in appropriate clothing; It was a bit irritating that the waiters served in everyday clothes while the guests were better dressed. I can't understand the positive reviews of this restaurant at all. It would be urgently necessary to adjust the prices, to train the staff better and, above all, to offer fresh goods at the buffet.

We ordered the helal BBQ. Very, very expensive and doesn't taste good quality. You get a lot of meat, which like the buffet wasn't fresh at all, was very dry. And there were flies on the food everywhere. Wouldn't come again.

A lot of food was brought, but it wasn't all that tasty. The waiter told me that I couldn't season the food before putting it on the grill because otherwise the smoke would stink. So I'm only allowed to put unseasoned food on the grill plate even though spices are provided and I'm supposed to season (?) at the end. The fruit spritzers were so watery, I've never had such a bad apple spritzer.

The dishes were incredibly delicious and worth visiting. The service was also good. Gladly again :)

Some of the food was inedible - both the meat and the vegetables. For us especially the pineapple and the lamb! When we brought this to the waitress's attention, it wasn't taken very seriously, which is a shame. We wanted to pay separately by card - if you want to pay separately by card, this is only possible for one person and the other person can only pay in cash afterwards; I have never witnessed anything like this.

It's kind of a restaurant, it's okay in terms of price. But if you're expecting Korean BBQ it's a huge disappointment. Because the seasoning is not Korean at all.

Very good all you can eat barbecue. The meat selection is extensive and very well seasoned to share. Fans of Korean cuisine will get their money's worth here. There is a rich side dish buffet and the service is very quick! Orders are placed via tablet, but you can contact the wait staff if you have any special requests. Free parking behind the building completes the offer. So if you're very hungry or just like the selection, this is the right place for you.

It was an extraordinary experience. The service and food were absolutely top. The process was well explained to us. The meat platter was very well filled. What was very nice was that we were shown how to eat traditional Korean food. We recommend. Would love to come back.

This type of buffet was a completely new experience for me, but I really enjoyed it. The food was very tasty and you were always taken care of when something was needed. At rush hour it is quite loud due to the narrowness and abundance of people.

Unfortunately the store is just ok. The best thing there: the service is very friendly and helpful. They put in a lot of effort. Unfortunately, the prices are far too high for the food on offer. There is a halal all u can eat option that costs €36.90 per person. WAY TOO MUCH. There are no sweet desserts in the all u can eat buffet. So for this amount I just expect more choice and not just a few fermented salads. Very few sauces to choose from!!! Drinks not included in the price. So really expensive. We quite regretted it, we could have gone out to eat with 8 people at keupstr for the same amount, where the food had more taste. So it was actually a complete disappointment. Meat comes fresh to the table (but the world isn't there to choose from either) And the green beans (Edemama) were immediately empty and were no longer refilled (the excuse: delivery hadn't arrived yet.) Um, you're offering such an expensive all-u-can-eat thing and you're waiting for a delivery? Then you have to get it yourself somehow, which is now also available at Edeka. Conclusion: then this restaurant, we are generally done with all u can eat buffets. That was the biggest disappointment so far

Food is good (especially if you want to have all-you-can-eat for €35+), but neither the ambience nor the service can live up to your expectations. In my humble opinion, €100 for two people is better spent at a number of restaurants in the city.

Good Korean style BBQ restaurant. For €33.99 per person you get a BBQ platter with various types of meat and fish. If there is not enough, you can order meat, fish and seafood for free using the QR code at the table. At the buffet itself there are various Korean banchan as well as lettuce leaves for rolling up the meat. Koreans know how to eat the meat with lettuce leaves. Sushi, various vegetables, as well as enoki mushrooms, other types of mushrooms, asparagus and other vegetarian alternatives are also available for non-meat eaters. There are already various types of sauces at the table, otherwise you can get additional sauces and spices from the buffet. The staff is helpful, friendly and quick to bring you the meat you ordered, even when the restaurant is busy. The grill is replaced if there is too much cooking residue on it. We visited Fooddoor for the second time today and are thrilled. We drove home completely full and even had to leave some meat behind. In contrast to other people who write here that you have to pay for eating while lying down, this is not the case. If we had continued eating, we probably would have burst. The meat is of good quality and tender. So the price-performance ratio is definitely right here. When people complain about the price, they have never been to other Korean restaurants. In addition to the BBQ, you can also order a la carte, but the BBQ is more worthwhile for meat lovers. It has to be said that although the restaurant is not run by Koreans, Banchan comes close to Korean taste. The BBQ feeling for grilling yourself is no different than in other Korean restaurants. You can also order various soups in clay pots according to the menu. Definitely reserve a table because the restaurant was packed and busy. As a Korean, I think that you can eat well in this restaurant because the taste of the meat is good, the banchan is almost as good as the original Korean and the prices are really moderate. Many people who are unfamiliar with Korean food probably have the prices at the typical all-you-can-eat Chinese buffets in mind. However, Korean food cannot be compared to typical Chinese restaurants as the taste in these restaurants has been adapted to European palates. Korean food is a different experience and you just pay more for it.

The food and selection were good but after a while the staff made us feel like we were unwanted.

The food itself is really tasty, as are the cocktails. Unfortunately, there is still a very limited selection at the all you can eat option. (3-4 types of meat with different seasoning) Other things cost extra (and not a little). There is also only a cheap €30 table gas grill here. Everything is okay so far. The staff is also very friendly, they just don't really leave you alone, it feels like someone comes by every 5 minutes and cleans up or tells someone how best to prepare their food (once at the beginning would have been okay.) and it's constantly happening The plate changed, so you had to keep taking your food off the plate and putting it back on. Ambiance is... Okay. Wall is nicely designed. The floor can and should get a renovation again. There are dirty streaks, leftover food on the floor and sometimes it is so broken that you get stuck in the chairs. But the cheekiest thing is the take-along policy. Here, €7.50 is charged for 100 grams. If you threw it away, it would be okay. If you want to take it with you, I would think an additional charge of one euro, maybe 2, for packaging material is justified. But €7.50 is usury!

The food (small selection in the Premium All You Can Eat) and the drinks were tasty, but you don't get any peace and quiet while eating, as something is constantly being cleared away, you are being lectured to, or the grill plate is being replaced. Having some leftover food packed costs a whopping €7.50 per 100g! Such a price has nothing to do with avoiding waste, but rather with making a profit. This is outrageous and absolute usury! I won't go here again and advise everyone to look for another restaurant.

We relied on the many good reviews and were unfortunately very disappointed. The quality of the meat was not good in places and it had to be grilled on baking paper, so it was only cooked but not grilled. The waitress asked us several times to fill the grill, which made us feel harassed. So the atmosphere was just stressed. The food at the buffet was not labeled (so you didn't know what you were eating) and the fried things were completely cold and sticky (at 6 p.m.) We won't come back again...

1) The boss constantly came by to check whether we were using the grill correctly. 2) Our drinks were forgotten. 3) The food at the buffet didn't look fresh. 4) The meat, however, was very fresh and tasty. 5) You can also eat halal!

The food on site was delicious, but the buffet wasn't even completely full. In other words, I couldn't taste/try everything that was actually on offer. The choice of sauce was very limited. A service worker kept coming to our table and filling up our grill even though we perhaps just wanted to eat in peace. We all found it a bit disturbing. The meat we ordered always came to the table late or not at all. The ambience was okay, but it was incredibly loud and the store was only moderately full that evening. In the end we were only able to pay for the entire table and not separately like in every normal restaurant. We also found that disturbing.

Unfortunately it really wasn't worth it for us. We called in advance to ask whether it would be possible for a vegetarian to eat there with us and we were assured that there was a large vegetarian selection. Unfortunately, that wasn't really the case, because there were 6-7 types of vegetables and tofu or side dishes. In principle it's not a problem at first, but given the fact that the vegetarian buffet costs €30.50 it was really worth it. There were 5 of us there but we only had a relatively small grill which would have been a bit cramped anyway, even without the fact that vegetarians didn't get an extra grill. Most of the meat was just ok, seafood was good, the fish not really. Service was ok, it sometimes took a long time to get a separate sauce bowl for vegetarians. (In my opinion, guests with mixed orders such as normal and halal or normal and vegetarian should automatically come with an extra grill and an extra sauce bowl, because otherwise you really can't claim that it is halal or vegetarian)

I am someone who enjoys eating Korean BBQ and have now visited a wide range of restaurants. Unfortunately, tonight was the worst visit to a Korean BBQ restaurant I've ever had. We were a group of 4 people. We were escorted to the table and then we sat there. Nothing was explained to us. After we had "ordered" our all-you-can-eat platter from a waitress (we were asked if we were eating all-you-can-eat), the meat platter was brought to us a short time later. We weren't asked if we wanted a different plate from the selection that was available. However, the grill wasn't turned on and we ended up ordering drinks via the app, even though we supposedly could have ordered the drinks using the conditions. But there was no sign of them anywhere. The lady we ordered from before didn't show up again for the rest of the evening. The selection of different vegetables/side dishes and meat was okay, but not enough in my opinion for the price of €33/person. There were actually only two real sauces for the meat, plus paste and chili powder. The self-service buffet was constantly empty and it took a long time until something was refilled. The rice was actually permanently empty and once a waiter went to the tables with a bowl of rice because they couldn't keep up and people complained several times. In the meantime, a waitress came and set the grill to a minimum flame so that everything would take longer to grill. I've already seen several rewievs here that also describe this situation, so that food takes longer to cook and people therefore eat less. We simply raised the grill higher again. In between, another waitress came and told us that you could also order vegetables via the app or from the service or ask the staff to fill in missing items. So we couldn't order side dishes via the app and there were apparently big problems refilling them due to the number of people in the restaurant. The quality of the meat was sometimes not that good, with a lot of tendons and fat. I know this differently from other Korean BBQ restaurants. At least one thing was okay, they cleared a lot and quickly. So quickly that while you were sitting comfortably, you were interrupted by hands flying over the table and plates that weren't yet empty with the comment: Take the rest down... That's very rude to the guests. At around 9:20 p.m. you could order one final time because the kitchen would be closing. I think an hour before the official closing time is a little early for the kitchen to close. You didn't feel so good afterwards either. The service became more and more hectic when clearing away and when we were only there with two other tables, they turned on music and had a “party” in the front. We then got up together with the last two tables because no one wanted to sit there anymore. The next big thing came when paying. Only one person can pay with a card. As soon as you wanted to split the bill into, for example, 2x card payments like we did, we were just told that that wasn't possible. It would work if one person paid in cash and one paid by card. This was very unexpected for both us and the group in front of us.

Meat ok but for an all you can eat the selection for this price is very disappointing. Therefore the price for 2 people was significantly too expensive for what was offered. We will not be aiming for another visit. Can't understand this hype about TIK TOK. Visited this restaurant just for that reason. I can't recommend it. But everyone should make their own opinion about it.

Super tasty and reasonable price. Very nice waitresses who took the time to explain the system and the grill, sauces were simply refilled without being asked and tips were given as to which combinations went well together. What was ordered via the app always arrived very quickly. You could take your time while eating and didn't have the feeling that they wanted to get rid of you quickly. Always happy to go there. :)

It was pretty good overall. The food was good and the small appetizer buffet was amazing too. The drinks are just amazing and the portions were very large. The only thing was the rice. The white rice had a few small brown splotches. Terrific for inviting friends.

It's as authentic as the barbecue I've eaten in Korea! When I come to Düsseldorf, this restaurant is always my first choice. The staff is always helpful and the smiles are heartwarming.

Very tasty and authentic Korean BBQ! We had the all you can eat buffet. The service was very nice and special requests were also taken into account (chicken breast without marinade, unfortunately too spicy for me). The Bulgogi beef was one of my highlights!!! The aloe vera drinks are also highly recommended (I had mango and dragon fruit).

Ordered Yangnyeom & Hot Boneless Chicken for a dinner for two. We received the same non-marinated chicken twice with two boxes of sauces. I order Korean chicken all the time but it always is marinated and never comes without anything and then a dipping sauce. We tried one portion and threw the rest away. Absolute not worth it sadly!

The quality of the products is good, but the selection was a bit small for the price, there are better Korean restaurants in Düsseldorf and it was very cold in the rooms where you have to eat with a jacket, which had a negative impact on the visit there.

We all enjoyed the food very much. We also got the table by phone 2 hours before the scheduled time. The restaurant was still very busy that evening and as a result the buffet wasn't always filled up straight away. There were occasional waiting times for the classics like salad and rice, but everything was bearable. The service dealt with us quickly & there wasn't much time for questions/requests, so we sometimes had to ask several times before new oil or a new table top was brought to us (it was burnt without oil) We all really liked the meat and the desserts from the buffet were delicious. All in all, definitely worth a visit.

Unfortunately we didn't like it here: reservation without any problems, service friendly but inattentive. The buffet and the quality of the meat did not convince us. The concept is brilliant, but the meat served should also be of good quality. Vegetables on the buffet with very little choice. Promised things like redfish were not available. The marinade is the same for all meat, everything tastes similar. Drinks are expensive. After a while the whole store smells of grilling and burnt food. We had great expectations that were not even remotely met.

I've been here 5 times. Foodoor is simply my favorite Korean restaurant in NRW. The wonderful food here is definitely worth my money. There are many different ingredients and vegetables to choose from, which I can always reorder within two hours. The employees are particularly very friendly and helpful. I can only recommend you!
