A bit old; good service, tasty food also on the table grill!

Trust me guys, I am a connoisseur in Düsseldorf when it comes to Korean chicken wings and have tried almost all the shops in my city. And to top it all off, I have to give this one first place and medals! At the beginning I was skeptical when ordering how much there might be in a small portion, and for 13 euros the quantity was unbeatable, on the one hand, and on the other hand they were super tasty like the good alden yangnyeom chicken should be. They are accompanied by a pinch of spice and will take you to boneless chicken heaven! In any case, let's get to the fact: Large portion 18€ is enough for 2 people and if you're really hungry you can order a rice each (1.5€) which comes to 21€ for 2 which is an unbeatable price for the comfortable seating and that REALLY fast service is. The food really arrives within 5 to 10 minutes and payment is made directly at the table very quickly, as everything is ordered online at the table to eat! Great value for money, great taste, great ambience, great service, what more could you want? (For your information, I ate there twice with a friend after I ordered)

I ordered squid rice bowl and it was too sweet. I think we had to wait for almost 20 minutes for the galbitang we ordered together. The table next to me was grilling meat, but there was no staff watching, so they kept grilling the meat on the charred grill, and the smoke and smell were unbelievable. It's easy to get the smell on your clothes and hair in an instant. The food is not clean either Serving is not good However, since there are a lot of customers, I think they continue to operate without change.

This place was better but today we got almost food from yesterday. Rice was sticky, vegetables were sloppy... we all felt like what we had been served weren't freshly cooked. I might give one more chance but till that time this comment will stay..

The food is super tasty and service was really quick. The restaurant could have been a bit cleaner (the floor was a bit sticky) but otherwise only recommended!

The floor is always sticky! There is no air circulation and it is smoky. The wait time for food is too long! After waiting for more than an hour to place two orders, even the drinks were not served. Later, the front desk came to tell me that the QR code had been scanned to the front table. Every table is full. Should we go to the front table and push people away to scan the QR code? The system error is understandable. After waiting for an hour and a half, there was not even a side dish, and the drinks were rushed. In the end, I only paid for the drinks and left.

It's a shame for today's experience! We arrived around 6:30 p.m. After the waiter sat down, we scanned the code to order. After waiting 20 minutes we were told we hadn't ordered so we repeatedly scanned the code to order. During this time, no service staff told us where the dishes we ordered had gone and no service staff served the entrees. I went to the reception to tell the waiters about the situation. They should have thought it was our mistake and didn't serve us. They also knew the table number we were at. After waiting for an hour we couldn't stand it and decided to leave. When we went to the reception to check out they asked us to pay all the charges but all the dishes were not delivered to our table at all.

Very tasty. Huge portions for the valuable price. The only problem - not enough fresh air inside.

Good food in an interesting restaurant.

The food here is good, but too spicy for me, which directly leads to me not eating everything. But I like the online ordering way!

The food was delicious and came very quickly - incredibly quickly: just under five minutes after placing the order. How does it work?! I think the prices are completely reasonable. Ambience left a lot to be desired. The furniture could be renewed, as could the toilets. Service was so-so. Got there at 2:58pm on Saturday. The sign on the door said the store would be open until 4 p.m. We were seated by the waitress and advised that we should “order quickly” as the kitchen actually closes at 3 p.m. No sooner said than done. Interestingly, guests who arrived after us were still served and were able to order their food in peace. In general, a smile wouldn't hurt anyone.

We went there for Korean BBQ and really enjoyed it. Super fast operation and easy ordering concept via QR code. Plus delicious kimichi salads as well as rice and sweet potatoes. Simply very tasty 😋

The food was really delicious. However, when you arrived you had the feeling that you weren't wanted or that it meant too much stress for the staff, even though we had reserved and specifically noted that we had a baby with us. We were then taken to a kind of side room where it was It was very dark and didn't seem particularly inviting. The food came super quickly and was also delicious. Some of the waitresses were very friendly, but others were a bit rude and quite stressed. All in all it was ok.

Unfortunately, this restaurant has declined greatly. We ordered two starters and two main courses. The starters were served after just 2 minutes - which can hardly be true as these are dishes that are usually freshly prepared. The food was OK, but definitely nothing special. There are many other restaurants that are significantly better. However, the worst part of our visit was that both me and my girlfriend have had stomach aches ever since. It seems suspicious that the main courses came so quickly while the starters should have been prepared. Something is wrong here. Overall, unfortunately not a recommendation.

Very good food and the food came relatively quickly

The problem is that everything there is designed for quick eating. It used to be really good there. But since they changed everything, I've had a bad experience every time. And the last visit was definitely my last. The waiters were far too few for the number of tables. And not really friendly because of the stress. Our food arrived cold and the soup was just lukewarm. I also find it anything but good that, despite having a reservation, you end up sharing a table with others. There are much better Korean restaurants in Düsseldorf...

We were there with our Korean guests. In her opinion, it was very authentic and almost “like home” for her. All I can say is that it was super delicious. You order at the table using your cell phone using a QR CODE and what you order is there almost immediately. Garson etc jab such daughter will be called. The service is nice and quick. It's a bit crowded unfortunately, but that speaks for their success, but I personally prefer a quieter atmosphere. The decoration and hygiene are neither excessive nor leave much space to be desired. The only drawback I have is that there have to be at least two people. Unfortunately, individuals are not accepted. I don't know whether you can order home or not. Unfortunately there is no parking space and it is unfortunately not wheelchair friendly due to the steps directly at the entrance. I can recommend it to anyone who wants authentic Korean food. P.S. If you have Koreans in your group, you have an advantage 😜

A really very busy restaurant, which is why you had to wait (outside) despite having a reservation. However, the staff is really quick (and friendly!) and tries to accommodate you as quickly as possible. The food itself didn't take long considering the restaurant was so full and arrived at the table hot. The taste was great, I had no reason to complain, although the KFC could have actually been hotter for my taste. However, you have to be prepared to really smell like a grill hut after visiting the restaurant and not really being able to go anywhere afterwards. So I wanted to change my clothes and wash my hair 😅 However, that's no reason for me not to go back.

This Korean restaurant is in the heart of the little Tokyo in Düsseldorf. A wide variety of classic Korean dishes is offered, including grill meat. While the restaurant setting is traditional, the ordering method is modern and digital only. The service is very fast and the portion is generous. Do come with family and friends and a big apetite.

It was my first time at Korea House and I was simply amazed by the great food. Such fresh, crunchy vegetables and spicy, but not too spicy. Plus the great appetizers included. An absolute taste experience. The staff is also very friendly and the prices for these portions are very humane. I will definitely eat there more often. I can only recommend this restaurant.

One of my favorite restaurants in Düsseldorf. Large portions, authentic food, and very good taste. Always recommend it and so far no one has been less than thrilled, especially with the chicken bowl 👍 In the winter it can sometimes get a little colder inside, especially if you are moved to an outside room (often crowded). The waiting times are also rather longer, but the starters are delicious.

A truly authentic experience. Dishes popping with flavour and a real home cooked feel about everything that comes out from the kitchen. Enjoy a Korean beer while you’re at it! We visited as a business trip of 6 and had a prior reservation but they have a sizeable seating area and an expansion area out the back. So I’m sure you will get seated even without a prior booking on most nights. Short walk from the metro stop and some street side parking if required but I’d recommend walking to make it easier if you can. Reasonable prices and the online ordering system worked well and food came quickly.

I visit this restaurant quite often, and yesterday I tried the BBQ for the first time. I usually only order individual dishes. The taste of the food was very impressive but I had problems with the service. The staff barely made eye contact with customers. When I requested more vegetables, dipping sauce, or side dishes, I didn't get the attention I expected. After I asked once, it still wasn't brought. I had to ask a second person and it was brought late with some things missing. Given the price, which is not cheap, the poor service was very disappointing. While the food is delicious, I hope the service improves.

We sat outside in great warm weather. Orders are made online. The BBQ grill was served like lightning after less than 5 minutes. Wow! There was so much going on that day! The food was excellent and we were given very good advice. Thanks! Inside the restaurant it seemed rather dark and very stuffy. But the concept was visually consistent with the historical ambience.

The Korea House in Little Tokyo Düsseldorf offers an authentic Korean dining experience with a variety of traditional dishes. The quality of the food is excellent, especially the BBQ and bibimbap. The staff is friendly and attentive, and quite efficient! However, this restaurant is about the food, don’t expect too much attention to detail when it is about service - food is delivered to you at once. The atmosphere is nothing exquisite but cozy. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. A great spot for anyone looking to enjoy Korean cuisine in the downtown Düsseldorf.

I ordered Jjajangmyeon smelled as if the sauce has been made and kept old (I know because I am Korean). My husband ordered mulnaengmyeon, but the soup tasted nothing. We’ve never had this tasteless 물냉면 anywhere even in Europe. Hygiene of this restaurant must be re-evaluated and keep it clean.

Today was my second time dining/having a (verrry) late lunch at Korea House, since I moved to Düsseldorf. Staff is very friendly and try their best (the restaurant is always busy) the atmosphere inside is great, very cozy and almost homey which really puts you at ease. and outside it’s very lively and cool. the food is fantastic. Fresh ingredients and everything is flavourful and cooked to perfection. You scan a QR code to order and your foods and drinks are then brought to your table by a server. the free entrees are always delicious and the wine selection among the other drinks is very good. I will be coming back for a round 3 soon!

We always enjoy coming to Koreahaus. The food is great! The only thing is the organization. You first get part of the food, then the drinks and lastly the main course. But that doesn't matter because it tastes so good. Very important please Always reserve! 😋😊

The waiters have always been really confused. Regardless of whether it's a full house or not, something is always forgotten. Especially the drinks. Been there many times and it's always the same. The food, however, was great

Very crowded and loud place but great food and amazing taste. Their friendly staff speaks English as well! Definitely will come back!

The food was excellent. Ordering via cell phone is great and it was delivered to the table promptly. For me, authentic taste, not too customized like in many other restaurants. The two of us shared 1x vegetable and 1x meat, which was more than enough for lunch without completely overwhelming each other.

Disappointing Experience - Poor Service I recently visited it and unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. After being shown to our table, we were basically forgotten. No one explained how things worked, which can be confusing, especially at a Korean restaurant where some dishes might be unfamiliar to customers. Throughout the entire meal, no one checked on us, and the staff seemed uninterested in providing even basic hospitality. There was no friendliness, no smiles, and no effort to make us feel welcome. Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, I understand that bad days happen, and the job can be overwhelming, but that’s no excuse for poor service. Whether it's a tough day or a busy shift, you still have to put on a smile and make the customer feel valued. It's part of the job, even if you have to fake it sometimes. Sadly, this restaurant failed to do so, and I left feeling underappreciated and disappointed. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously because service is just as important as the food when it comes to creating a positive dining experience.

Very authentic food...Yes I can judge it I lived in South Korea for 4 months.

Once and never again. Every corner of the restaurant is used for tables, which means it loses ambience and the service is overwhelmed. You have to order yourself via QR code and you also have to go to the checkout to pay. The drinks only came about 15-20 minutes after ordering, the second starter, a kimchi soup, arrived at the table not even lukewarm when I had already received the main course without a side dish. Rice with the meat didn't come to the table until 10 minutes later. The food is extremely over-seasoned and a waiter never comes to ask if everything is ok or if you would like to order something else. Since orders are also sent out via Lieferando, empty tables are only cleared after about 20 minutes.

No complaints in terms of food and service. As always delicious, authentic food. Service is faster than the blink of an eye. I have been coming here for years. In summer, though, it would be nice to put some air conditioning/ventilators as it's cramped, with no windows. And with too many people and the kitchen inside it can get really hot in the restaurant.

I'd recommend bibimbap n jjigae. And especially chili sauce chicken is almost as good as the one i used to have in korea. (All my friends liked it here too) All the side dishes were very authentic n nice. Atmosphere is amazing too but bbq grill can be better I think. Taste was amazing tho. Bit pricey but tbh much better than any restaurants

The people are really super nice. The food is very good, and the options for frying directly at the table are also very good. If there are a lot of people, I would check that there are a lot of grills, but otherwise I would always like to come back. It was very tasty. It was really a lot of fun and a really good evening.

Delicious food and lots of choice. You order via your cell phone, so requests for changes are unfortunately difficult. It was very smokey at times, but that probably can't be avoided at the BBQ. All in all a clear recommendation for the good food.

Great place with good food for excellent prices. It might not be exactly the same as being in Korea but it definitely helped us regain the memories of our trip there last year! Definitely would recommend going here :)

The food itself and the service are brilliant. It is one of the best restaurants in Düsseldorf. The only (negligible) drawback, however, is the furnishings. Especially in the outbuilding and in the rear area, everything seems to be put together very quickly. That means: the restaurant could be nicer. Since otherwise the price/performance is completely ok (230€ for 9 people) and spontaneous visits with several people are usually possible (sometimes only with 2 hours notice), I will definitely be back a fourth time and very likely would love to go there more often.

The special jjajangmyeon was okay, but please never order cold noodles. If you order Korean water cold noodles, you'll be wasting money. I didn't want to know either.

One of the best Asian/ Korean place in Düsseldorf. Service is great too. When you make a booking in advanced there is always a significant risk that the forget about it, though.

According to the company's own information, it's open until 10 p.m. We were there at 9 p.m., asked for a table, the waiter checked and assigned us a table, then 5 minutes later the waiter came and told us that the kitchen was already closed! When asked why we got a table and why it says on the internet that it's open until 10 p.m. When the shop opened, the waiter just said he had just asked and the kitchen was already closed. In the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia at 9 p.m. on Saturday... Disappointing

Not recommended for vegans or vegetarians, as vegetarian dishes contain fish sauce or oyster sauce. You get different information about ingredients from different employees.

Im from US so my opinion may not be accurate for the local people. Service is minimal. Didnt even ask if Im here for BBQ or just regular dish. After ordering BBQ they apologized and asked me to move to next table. The waitress needs retraining. Side dishes that are free in the US, they charge here. Im not used to it but follow the Rome’s rules. Portion is very small compared to the US typical Korean BBQ restaurant. You must order 2 portions to get equivalent amount of the US 1 portion. The electric grill just doesn’t work for Korean BBQ. I was worried Winter may come before my meats get cooked properly.

We reserved a table and specifically asked if dogs were allowed. The information came, yes there are big tables, was the response. When we arrived, my reservation was not taken into account at all and they wanted to give us a table with through-traffic... and said that all the large tables were reserved. Yes, my reservation! You just didn't understand it. When did we get one of the reserved tables. Yes, the welcome was really not nice. The food is good and tasty, but something like that is just annoying on a Friday. It's not easy to get a table with a dog...

Food was really good and the portion was enough even for good eaters, BUT: What use is that if you reserve one of the large tables outside for a birthday, arrive and then suddenly have to eat inside (with a big dog!)? After 30 minutes of discussion at 32 degrees in the sun, I was no longer hungry. We ended up staying, but after the theater it wasn't so nice anymore. So: If you want to eat well, you're definitely in good hands here, but don't rely on any kind of service or reliability. They simply don't exist. Hence probably the last visit there.

Don’t order the black bean noodle, tasteless… noodle was overcooked. however, the kimchi pancake and the hotplate pork was excellent. hence 3 stars. People were friendly, we reserved a spot but did not look that they cared, some people came without reservation and got a table without any problem

After the Dokomi in Düsseldorf we had a house meal in Korea for the first time. The food was very tasty and the portions were sufficient. I found the prices to be reasonable. The drink was really delicious for people who like grapes, I can only recommend it! However, what I didn't like and that desperately needs an update are the toilets.

This restaurant feels old and the food is so-so. The price was expensive and the location was good, but I don't think I'll go back. It was noisy and slow to respond. Everything costs money...even the food is expensive. Service starts with not charging a penny!!

Good Korean barbecue place, I've been there several times and the reason is that they have a super extensive menu so I can always order something different. I don't like the system of ordering through a website, it is super unclear and the first time, by mistake, we ordered several repeated dishes. For some reason the floor is always very slippery and it feels dangerous to walk to the bathroom, it makes me question the overall hygiene levels. Apart from that, the food is delicious.

Even without a reservation, we were quickly assigned a table in the back of the restaurant, with the information that the order was made via a QR code. This caused problems. After we submitted the order, it did not appear in the order history. So we didn't know if we had really ordered. Calling a waiter via the app didn't work. So it was time to wait and hope. After about 10 minutes a waiter actually came with the ordered drinks, desserts and 1/3 of the main courses. We had to wait another 10 minutes for the other two main courses. You shouldn't offer so many tables if you can't serve the number of guests properly. The food was really tasty and the price was reasonable. The free side dishes were a nice surprise.

The food is really great. But the place needs a serious renovation, especially to it's ventilation system. It's a Korean bbq place with an almost non existent exhaust system. The floor is super slippery, to the point where it's slightly dangerous. I cam imagine that it's impossible to keep the floors clean, because the grease from the smoke doesn't get ventilated. The grills are also very old, the non stick coating is long gone, even when you're cooking something fatty, something will stick and eventually burn up. Combine this with the non existent exhaust system, it's really uncomfortable to breathe in there when it's full.

Excellent food, we had the grill plate for 2 people, very tender, perfectly seasoned meat to be prepared on the table grill, plus delicious bowls with side dishes. Then why deduct points? I belong to the group of people who have difficulties with modern technology. Uploading the memory card from the square is still possible, but the smartphone is not as clear as a printed card, which is not available here. Communication with the otherwise very friendly staff takes place mainly electronically. It's a shame, it probably won't bother most of the guests, but in the future I'll probably resort to breweries where you can discuss the reasons for the once again botched climb with the Köbes.

The food is typically Korean. Unfortunately only online ordering via QR code at the table. That's why questions are difficult. And if you order there with a group, you won't see what others at the table have ordered. So coordinate well if you want to have a lot of things “in the middle”. Unfortunately, the sound system is MUCH too loud, at least when you sit at a table with speakers above you. The ventilation is not particularly good, the clothes still smell very strongly the next day.

Large Korean restaurant with outside seating. Still good and fast service! Bulgogi was very tasty, cheese tteokpokki wasn't my cup of tea because it was too greasy/cheesy, but otherwise it was good. But the boneless chicken was phenomenally tasty, crispy and spicy!

Compared to my last visit, I feel like the quality has clearly dropped. Unlike the picture, the special Jjajangmyeon is not Jjajang on a tray, but regular Jjajangmyeon with a few pieces of poached seafood on top. I don't know what country the recipe is from. The service is also very comparable to a year ago.
