Very tasty tarte flambée. Everything else is fine too. Friendly service, fair prices. We'd love to come back.

I wanted to eat there with my colleagues and we made a reservation online 2 weeks ago. There was also a reminder from the Glass Man the day before our appointment. Unfortunately we were faced with locked doors and had to reschedule. We can't approve of treating guests like this and we definitely won't be coming back.

Very disappointing! I had reserved a table for 4 people for last Sunday. The occasion was my son's 19th birthday. I received a reservation confirmation and a reminder (see photo). When we stood in front of the closed blinds full of anticipation and great hunger, we were disappointed. Only a handwritten note with (closed today) was hanging on the entrance door. Since then I have called several times, unfortunately without success. What a shame!

Nice restaurant. We ate very, very well, prices were ok. Service pleasant.... happy to come back.

Underground. Salad with ready-made sauce. Fries with old fat and 3 minutes over. I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat there.

Delicious food from meatless to food for meat lovers. The restaurant is reminiscent of an alpine ski hut. Very tastefully designed. Price performance is also right.

Salmon trout - neither trout nor fresh... frozen piece of salmon... absolute disappointment... When I asked, I was assured that salmon trout was just salmon... I can also fry frozen salmon at home, and it's cheaper and tastier... Expensive, misleading and unfortunately just disappointing..

A 4/5. Portions are sometimes a bit small for the high prices, but the food was always delicious.

We discovered this restaurant by chance while looking for a place where we could eat a Kaiserschmar... And we were very happy to discover the rest of the menu and we had lunch there and ate excellent traditional dishes!! You can be sure to make the right choice! The service was very pleasant and professional :) the cook was perfect! We will return with great pleasure to discover other dishes :D

Service was faster than planned, as lunch is only served from 12.00, opening time was 11.00, we hadn't ordered and were there around 11.20. The waitress had already taken into account our requests, we were only 3-4 guests at that time .so that the kitchen team could start preparing the food we wanted through the order, we could then enjoy it from around 11.50. It tasted good and everything was sufficient, we were quite pleasantly surprised, too the cleanliness and friendliness can be rated as pleasant.

Nice atmosphere, attentive, friendly staff, price/performance ratio is ok. Portions so plentiful that even the greatest hunger is satisfied! Menu is manageable, but... there is a bit of everything: Beef, poultry, veal, fish and vegetarian. We can recommend it with conviction 👍👍👍

The food deserves 10 points, as does the service, very nice staff, family-friendly atmosphere. Can only be highly praised. My girlfriend and I's new favorite restaurant. Thanks

The waiter was unfriendly and you paid €9.60 for 1L of water. Unfortunately not recommended.

.... didn't even come to eat.... and probably never will... Because the waitress (Blond) made us feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. Went after drinks... Recommendation is definitely out of the question. The service should be retrained when it comes to dealing with customers. (Communication) Whether young or old. Everyone is treated with respect and not condescendingly

I can no longer recommend the Glassmännlein. The service is the biggest disaster I have ever experienced. On average we waited at least 1 hour for our food. When we were the first guests of the evening, we even had to wait an hour and a half. Here, the main course only begins to be cooked once the starter has been completely eaten. It's just stupid when out of 7 people one person has a small soup that they actually want to eat with the main course and after 30 minutes the waitress comes and asks if she could start cooking the main course. I hardly need to write about how incredibly bad a mood all of my guests were. The waitress delivered the wrong dishes to several tables and instead of apologizing, she started a long argument and insisted that the customer had ordered it. Later she always blamed her mistake on the cooks and didn't even apologize. I've never seen anything so rude. For example, my extra side dishes turned into no side dish and the bill later showed two double extra side dishes. Although only one was subsequently delivered following a complaint. There was no thought at all here. Generally the restaurant is never full in the evening. Nevertheless, you can't get a seat without a reservation, despite dozens of empty chairs. Our waitress was so overwhelmed with the ordering process that she needed at least 5 minutes per table to take the order. With just 3 guests -.- I've never experienced anything so strange. We were guests here quite often because of the excellent chef and were able to get a very clear picture of the service. The Flanders steak is completely off the menu, which was the highlight. The mixed side salad is simply too expensive at an additional €6.8 and none of us liked it. A slice of tomato and a slice of cucumber do not make a mixed salad and the dressing should be tinkered with again. With the juice spritzer it would be nice with less ice. I expect that much at a McDonalds, where you want to save money on actual drinking. But in winter a glass with at least 70% ice is simply excessive and made my drink taste completely watered down. Of course I was allowed to listen to a lecture from the waitress after I complained about a water drink for €6. Adding more syrup was out of the question for her. The whole table dropped their drinks. Unfortunately, I could list more, such as the varying quality, unfriendliness, etc. but that is beyond my scope. We really enjoyed coming here at first. A big compliment to the great chefs who clearly suffer under the thumb of the boss/waiter. They can definitely cook and the atmosphere is good. But here for the first time I was afraid that the waitress would spit in my food. If you want delicious food, come here. But you should definitely be prepared for very long waiting times and poor service. Thank you for reading.

Guests who have reserved, even if there are only two people, are welcome to be given a table that is not directly at the door. The food itself was great. However, you can also cash in within 5-10 minutes if the guests want to leave.

Unfortunately we haven't had any luck with the food here the last 4 times. We'll try again if we don't think of anything else. A pity The restaurant is chic and the service is top.

Unfortunately the food was nothing...Vienna schnitzel probably Tk? But I've never experienced such bad meat before... it's a shame... only the salad was tasty... the service was really very nice and can't help it...

Eine Perle von Freiburg, die nicht im Stadtzentrum ist! Athmosphäre ist toll und Essen war wunderschön. Man kann lokale und traditionelle Gerichte probieren. Wir haben uns sehr auf die Empfehlung vom Kellner verlassen und waren nicht enttäuscht.

Leider ist das Glasmännlein nicht mehr das was es mal war! Das Herz fehlt..Die Köche fehlen aus Tag 1.! Essen war halb okay und viel zu teuer! Und für den Preis eine Frechheit. Jägermeister zum Abschluss über 4 Euro, geht's noch??! Wir waren alle unzufrieden. Der alte Besitzer muss wieder her. Das war echt frustrierend.

War am 19.12 2023 zum Geburtstag essen dort zu meinem Entsetzen war das Essen sehr schlecht habe mir Hähnchenbrust mit pommes bestellt nicht nur das das Fleisch trocken war auch gab es die pommes mit Schale was ein nogo ist wie kann man nur so was anbieten entfällens ist das Lokal keinesfalls.

Nette, gemütliche Wirtschaft mit gutem Essen. Parkplatz Situation ist allerdings nicht sehr gut.

IGestern Abend in kleiner Runde gegessen. Service freundlich und schnell. Auch die Begrüßung von Chefin sehr nett. Ambiente sehr schön und sauber . Aber was aus der Küche kam, ist zum Nachbessern gedacht. Vielleicht auch dem Pächterwechsel geschuldet. Flanksteak auf der Karte durchgestrichen , ein einziger Rotwein im Angebot , und das noch ein hiesiger Spätburgunder. Keine Spur von einem blauen Zweigelt oder ähnlichem. Rumpsteak war gut ,ohne Kritik . Freilandhähnchen brust noch glasig , Hälfte ging zurück . Die "Rosmarinkartoffeln " waren ohne Rosmarin aber mit viel Oel . Linguine und Nockerl am Tisch in Ordnung, aber nicht mehr . Beim Nachtisch dann der Schock , Apfelküchle direkt aus der Fritteuse, noch etwas triefend. Wir waren 6 Personen und hatten reserviert. Da die Preise leicht über dem Durchsnitt liegen , wünschen wir den Betreibern in der Küche ein besseres Händchen , der Rest passt.

Mit viel Liebe zum Detail gemütlich und behaglich eingerichtetes Restaurant. Gut durchdachte, abwechslungsreiche Karte, eher hochpreisig. Die gegessene Kraftbrühe mit Flädle war genial, wie von der Oma, selbstgemacht. Der Kaiserschmarrn leider eine volle Enttäuschung. Nicht frisch zubereitet, da bestenfalls stellenweise lauwarm. Ich tippe auf eine Art Rührkuchen, der im Blech vorbereitet wird und dann je nach Bestellung mundgerecht zugeschnitten und mit Puderzucker überstreut angerichtet wird. Aber mit Kaiserschmarrn hatte das absolut nichts zu tun! Schade, hätte sonst gerne mehr Sterne - und beim Bezahlen auch mehr Trinkgeld - gegeben.

Ich muss gestehen, hier gestern den knusprigsten, bestbelegtesten Flammenkuchen gegessen zu haben 😁 Leider hatten wir aufgrund Termindrucks relativ wenig Zeit, aber ich komme wieder 😁 Das Lokal ist hübsch, gemütlich. Mir gefiel als Gastronomin der offene Blick in die Küche. Im Sommer ist der Aussenbereich sicher ein Träumchen, da freue ich mich schon drauf. Lobenswert auch die Getränke-Auswahl!

Für meinen heutigen Besuch (31.08.2022) leider nur 3* Ich hatte "Fleckerl" (Teigwaren) mit Bergkräuterpesto und Waldpilzen. Es schmeckte, jedoch war das Bergkräuterpesto geschmacklich nicht zu definieren und leider auch nicht intensiv. Auf Nachfrage, was denn alles drin ist, weiß ich bis jetzt noch nicht die Antwort (ok, es war später mega viel los). Das Pesto wird jedenfalls geliefert und nicht frisch im Restaurant zubereitet (schade). Schade finde ich auch, dass die Servicekraft es nicht weiß und der Koch nachschauen müsste. In einem Restaurant sollte ich wissen, was ich koche und serviere. Ab 18 Uhr wurde es immer voller, so dass es die Servicekraft innerhalb einer halben Stunde nicht schaffte, nach einem weiteren Getränkewunsch zu fragen. Erst gegen 18.30 Uhr kam eine zweite Kraft hinzu. Mir war die Lust vergangen und ich zahlte. Ich komme sicher wieder und hoffe, dass der nächste Besuch wieder 4 oder 5 Sterne wert ist. Für den ersten Besuch gerne 4* Wir hatten einen Innenplatz reserviert und bekamen im Laufe des Abends wunschgemäß einen Tisch im Außenbereich. Der Service war sehr angenehm, freundlich und unaufdringlich. Die Speisenauswahl gefällt mir sehr und das Essen war wirklich gut. Auch das Ambiente hat uns zugesagt. Es war ein schöner Abend und ich komme gerne wieder. 5* gerne, wenn es auch bei den künftigen Besuchen genauso gut ist.

Nach insgesamt vier Besuchen im Glasmännlein habe ich das Gefühl, dass die Qualität bedauerlicherweise abnimmt. Den Beilagensalat finde ich mit 6,20 Euro zu teuer. Die Salatsauce könnte ein Fertigprodukt sein - schmeckt jedenfalls so. Der Kalbsbraten war noch ok - hätte teilweise etwas zarter sein können, die Bergkräuternockerl passen m.E. überhaupt nicht dazu. Es handelt sich um ein Pesto, was geschmacklich nicht zur Sauce passt. Die Portion war jedenfalls recht groß. Das Wiener Schnitzel war leider überhaupt nicht gut. Sehr fad und überhaupt nicht kross gebraten. Die Panade war viel zu weich. Die Pommes dazu waren dagegen sehr gut. Im hinteren Bereich des Restaurants sind an mindestens drei Stellen Spinn-/Staubweben deutlich sichtbar. Die Sitzbank hat einen großen Fleck, der nicht den Anschein erweckte, als hätte man hier versucht, diesen gründlich zu entfernen. Für mich war es das leider! Sehr schade, weil es für mich bislang das beste Restaurant in Haslach war.

Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm, der Service sympathisch und das Essen geschmackvoll mit fairen Portionen.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen hier, je nach Tageszeit ist parken in dieser Gegend recht schwer aber wir hatten Glück. Das Carpaccio war lecker angemacht, hatte die richtige Textur und mit dem Salat hat alles gestimmt. Leider hat der Käse auf dem Carpaccio nicht so gut mit dem Rest harmoniert, vielleicht auch weil ich da an einen italienischen Hartkäse gewohnt bin. Das Hähnchen war lecker, hatte eine Kruste und war innen saftig. Die Kartoffeln dazu haben auch super gepasst, das Gemüse war etwas zu durch und ölig für meinen Geschmack. Für Nachtisch hatten wir leider keinen Platz mehr aber der Kaiserschmarrn sieht sehr gut aus.

Sehr guter Service und schon mehrfach da gewesen. Leider hat das Essen nachgelassen trotz stolzer Preise.

Das Essen war super jedoch war die Bedienung vollkommen überlastet und leider komplett mit allem überfordert,jedoch kann man in der heutigen Zeit ja froh sein das es nicht nur SB gibt.

Also Flammkuchen schmecken gut Salat mit Scampi war auch ok nur die salatblätter waren viel zu gross. Aber wie kann man Tafelspitz mit Rosmarin Kartoffeln die in Öl schwimmen anbieten. War nicht genießbar und passt überhaupt nicht dazu. Und der kalbsbraten mit gnocchi mit alpenkräutern passten geschmacklich auch nicht zusammen.

Schönes gemütliches Restaurant. Mein Rumpsteak habe ich englisch bestellt. Es kam medium, war trotzdem super. Der kleine gemischte Salat war ok. Die Freilandhähnchenbrust hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Garnelen Aglio waren super lecker 😋. Mit zwei Bier 🍺 und einem Wasser kostete das ganze inklusive Trinkgeld 80.00 Euro.
