Delicious food, whether fish, meat or salad. Friendly staff. Very clean and well-kept. It wasn't the last time we were here to eat. Everything was perfect.

We went there as a couple without a reservation and got a table straight away. Fast, attentive service. In our opinion, the fish was fried with a bit of fat.

When I say it was the best food I've ever eaten in a restaurant in my life, it's no exaggeration! Such an inconspicuous location and then such a fantastic meal. Since I don't eat fish myself, I ate the turkey medallions and they were really perfect. Big praise!

We made reservations for New Year's Eve. The restaurant served a la carte food. The restaurant was full to capacity. The food was very tasty. The service is attentive and the atmosphere is festive. An absolute recommendation.

All in all a nice restaurant with good staff, very friendly! Points deducted for the frozen fries and the ready-made fish fingers from the discount store. If I can't get homemade fish fingers in Cuxhaven im Haven, then where can I please?

Seit vielen Jahren sind wir Sylvesterabend im Fischereihafen. Auch in diesem Jahr 2024/25. Wir -2 Personen- wurden in einem Nebenraum mit vielen Gruppen plaziert. Es war eine wahnsinnige Lautstärke in diesem Raum. Es war nahezu unmöglich sich in normaler Lautstärke zu unterhalten. Wir hatten gleich bei der Tischzuteilung darum gebeten, sofern ein Tisch im Hauptraum später frei werden sollte, uns dort bitte einen Tisch anzubieten. Sofort wurde diese Bitte verneint, wäre nicht möglich. Wir hatten beide eine Suppe bestellt, einmal mit und einmal ohne Sahne. Wir bekamen beide Suppen mit Sahne. So dass uns eine Suppe wieder abgenommen wurde und wir zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten diese Suppen essen mussten. Gut, das ist nicht so entscheidend, aber schade. Wir hatten höflich die erhebliche Lautstärke angesprochen. Daraufhin die Dame: " Sie müsse auch bei dieser Lautstärke hier arbeiten und noch die Essensbestellung aufnehmen ". Ein" Entschuldigung...tut uns leid...wäre doch angemessen gewesen. Bis heute haben wir auch stes unseren Feriengästen das Restaurant weiterempfohlen. Ab heute leider nicht mehr. Zum Essen ist Folgendes zu sagen: Auf dem Teller waren zwei kleine Stücke Rotbarsch und überproportional viel Kartoffeln. Irgendwie müssen ja die Leute satt werden. Aber es ist ja kein Kartoffelhaus sondern ein Fischrestaurant. Auf Nachfrage, ob alles okay gewesen sei, haben wir höflich geäußert, dass viel zu wenig Fisch auf dem Teller gewesen sei. Daraufhin keine Reaktion. Spätestens da hätte von einer Serviceorientierten Bedienung die Frage kommen müssen, "Können wir Ihnen dafür Espresso oder etwas Anderes anbieten ? Nichts! Ach eine Cocktailtomate in zwei Hälften geteilt mit etwas Lauchzwiebel auf dem Teller, möchte ich nicht unerwähnt lassen. Und auch keine Servietten auf dem Tisch. Erst auf Nachfrage haben wir zwei weiße Papierservieten erhalten. Sylvester ist nicht irgendein Tag, da erwartet man doch etwas mehr . Schade, es war immer ein gutes Restaurant auch mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Auf Nachtisch oder weitere Getränke haben wir verzichtet, es war eine unerträgliche Atmosphäre, und wollten nur noch raus.

Absolutely recommended! Fish (cod/pollock) steamed to perfection. fried, very juicy, no (!) bones. It couldn't be better! Vegetables crunchy and very tasty. Mustard sauce for cod is a poem. Extremely nice and attentive service: We were served immediately, food came to the table quickly and hot, and was then cleared away quickly. And we didn't have to wait long for the bill, even though the store was buzzing! Everything was well organized. This is how it has to be in every relationship!

Chic, clean restaurant. Tables are a bit close together and the toilet is not really disabled friendly. The food was good and the service was very friendly despite the large number of guests.

Probably the best fish restaurant in Cuxhaven. Everything fits here. Ambience, service and food. You won't get fish that's much fresher on your plate. Parking is possible right in front of the door.

Not easy to find if you're not from there. But the search was worth it.

That was a failure! I wanted to go eat fish and yes, I was alone. But to be rejected like that - without words! I didn't get a table on the grounds that I was alone! But it wouldn't work with two people alone! Aha… a table for two was free. Why didn't the people who would have sat at the table of 2 sit at the free 4 seat and me at the 2 seat??? I can't understand. This is not customer focused.

We were there for dinner after a visit to the Wind Force 10 Museum. Location is great. The staff friendly and attentive. Even when it got really full after a while, we weren't forgotten. Food was great! If we didn't live on the other side of the country, we would be there more often!

Was there for the first time today. The ambience is stylish and generally appropriate, but it could be a bit more modern. Other restaurants in the city are a little ahead of the game. The service was very friendly and always had a smile on her face. It barely took half a drink before the food was already on the table. I didn't have to wait long for anything either. On the fish platter, one fish was really excellent and the others were very good. The food was very hot and the side dishes and sauce were also very tasty. There is very little room for improvement. I would come again.

We go to this restaurant every vacation. The clear fish soup is the best soup my husband has ever tasted. But the other dishes are also super delicious. We always praise the chef. The service is very good. We are already looking forward to the next visit!

I have enjoyed being a guest of the Frank family for years. Never been disappointed with a meal. The displays always offer delicious surprises, if not as a main course then as a dessert. As long as I can drive to CUX, I will definitely stop here and have a good time.

Nice restaurant in the harbor area of ​​Cuxhaven with a nice ambience. For starters we had fish soup. Tasted good, there were 3 different fish in the soup. The main course was turkey medallions, pork medallions and baked fish. Everything was super tasty, perfect. In terms of price, it was right, not exactly cheap of course, but okay for the good quality. The service was very friendly, always smiling and attentive. Equally positive were the baby chairs and a changing table, which were opened upon request. Recommended, gladly again.

Für den Cuxhaven Urlaub spricht auch das reichlich vorhandene Gastronomieangebot So haben wir in 14 Tagen täglich ein anderes Restaurant aufgesucht. Eigentlich waren wir ganz zufrieden, allerdings ärgern wir uns dieses tolle Restaurant erst zum Ende unseres Urlaubes entdeckt zu haben. Beeindruckend war die Harmonie wie hier eine Spitzenleistung erbracht worden ist Vom Ambiente über den tollen Service und letztlich Klasse Speisen und Getränke, noch nicht einmal überteuert Da kommen die anderen Gastronomen nicht mit, obwohl es bei den Mitbewerbern nichts zu meckern gab. Schade dass wir so weit weg wohnen, sonst wären wir gerne begeisterte Stammkunden geworden

The restaurant is located directly at the tourist hotspot “Alte Liebe” in Cuxhaven. We sat outside until we were asked inside because of the approaching rain. The restaurant is stylishly decorated and clean. We had lunch and all of our dishes tasted really good. The service was quick and friendly. It is clear that the price is not cheap. In return you get great quality. The sauce for the herring was delicious and the salad was also well dressed. A recommendation!

We ate here at the end of our vacation and were completely satisfied! The atmosphere was very pleasant, we sat in the next room, the service was very friendly and accommodating. Rarely have we seen such dedicated service staff in the region. The food was great both visually and in taste! We had a lovely evening and can fully recommend the restaurant. We ordered crab and clear fish soup as a starter, and for the main course there was cutter plaice, pollock and the fish platter. Our daughter chose meat and ordered the pork tenderloin medallions.

We ended up here thanks to a tip and I have to say: the best fish restaurant here on the coast. The food was perfect and the service was outstanding. Thank you very much, we will come back.

Seit Jahren verbringe ich meinen Urlaub hier und besuche während dieser Zeit mehrmals das Lokal. Gleichbleibende, sehr gute Qualität der Speisen. Preis/Leistung absolut in Ordnung. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Auch das Personal (sehr freundlich und aufmerksam) ist seit Jahren dasselbe, für mich auch ein Zeichen, dass es hier stimmt.

We got a table for 4 people plus a stroller without a reservation on Sunday lunchtime. Since we were there with a stroller, we were even given a table that was originally reserved just so that the stroller had enough space. Food was super tasty, staff was nice. We were all thrilled, for us personally it was the best fish we have eaten so far.

Hier kann man die Seele baumeln lassen, (fast) alle Wünsche werden auf Nachfrage erfüllt. Wohlfühlen wird einfach gemacht, erfahrene Servicekräfte (langjährige Mitarbeiter), wissen was gewünscht ist. Fünf Sterne wären hier das Minimum. Hier ist das Wohlbefinden des Gastes das Maximum. 1A+ immer wieder! Ich spreche aus jahrelanger Erfahrung! Für die, die es kurz mögen: 1A Empfehlung!!!

Leider war die Dame vom Service etwas anstrengend, die erklären wollte, dass die Bestellung einer Fischsuppe doch dann sehr viel sei, habe ich nicht wirklich verstanden und aufmerksamer geht auch. Tut der Qualität aber keinen Abbruch.
