Unfortunately, I can't confirm the positive reviews at all! The base of the tarte flambée seems to be store-bought (Edeka), and the preparation wasn't perfect. The base was undercooked, and the topping was tasteless.

Man kann zwischen verschiedenen Käsesorten auswählen, die Spätzle sind selbstgemacht, Portionen sind groß und immer super lecker! Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

As one of the few stalls in the market hall, the Spätzlekiosk offers German, regional Swabian and Baden cuisine at a wonderful price-performance ratio and with the friendliest, clean, and fast-working staff! Highly recommended, especially for tourists and travelers, and anyone interested in German cuisine!

Vor einem halben Jahr habe ich den Spätzlekiosk entdeckt. Seither gehe ich regelmäßig zwischen meinen Vorlesungen zum Essen dorthin. Schneller Service, große Portionen und top Spätzle zum fairen Preis. Mein Lieblingsort für selbstgemachte Spätzle. Ich kann es nur jedem weiterempfehlen.

Neben all den anderen Angeboten der Freiburger Markthalle, die mit exotischen und ausgefallenen Speisen locken, wirkt der kleine saubere Stand des deutschen Spätzle-Kiosks beinah überschaubar, bescheiden. Doch gerade darin liegt seine große Stärke: im guten, weil einfachen Essen aus Handarbeit und nach eigenem Rezept sowie aus frischen regionalen Zutaten. Die freundlichen Köche arbeiten schnell und routiniert und haben dabei immer auch Zeit für ein Lächeln. Herzlichst zu empfehlen, vor allem für jene, die Lust und Hunger auf deutsche oder regionale Gerichte haben!

Spätzle like Grandma used to make! This weekend, I went to eat at the Markthalle for the first time in a long time. Since I'd read about the reopening of the Spätzlekiok on fudder, I wanted to try it right away. The selection is extensive. I opted for Spätzle with cheese, creamy mushroom sauce, and fresh Munster vegetables, along with a small salad. The portion was more than enough, so I was able to take the leftovers home for a late dinner. ...and indeed: it tasted just like Grandma used to make. If you stay a little longer and are lucky, you can even see how the Spätzle are freshly made. I don't know of any other place in Freiburg that serves homemade Spätzle, so: 5 stars!

Best pizza and tarte flambée ever! But unfortunately, the quality is very disappointing. Sometimes you get a good size, and sometimes it's tiny. That's unacceptable, especially at that price!
