wir waren zum ersten mal da und es hat uns sehr gefallen…. gerne wieder!

Waren mit 6 Personen dort. Das Essen war bei allen gut und ausreichend. Das hier selbst gebraute Bier ist alleine einen Abstecher Wert. Bei nächsten mal schau ich gerne wieder hier rein.

Really bad experience in a very nice traditional German restaurant. Starting from the beginning, the waiters appeared very bad approaching us, giving the impression we were disturbing them, just for info we entered in the restaurant at 8:45 PM. Coming to the food: we ordered 2 sausages and 2 Schnitzel....starting from the sausages, served boiled...I can say reheated over and over again, and served with potatoes and not french fries as per menu, sauerkraut very good instead. Schnitzel: overcooked and full of oil. At the end, very bad experience.

It's a cozy brasserie where you can enjoy delicious food. We had a schweinhaxe with sauerkraut, and it was delicious. We even brought our dog inside.

The food was good and plentiful. The beer garden is on the pedestrian zone but nicely shaded by small trees. I wanted a pork knuckle or spare ribs, but I wasn't allowed to eat either outside (because of bone marrow and flies). I ended up ordering something else. The service was moderately friendly; at one point, we weren't served at all. I went inside and ordered at the counter. A few tables were served, but some weren't served at all. So, in short, if you want to eat pork knuckle or spare ribs and want to sit outside, you'd be better off going somewhere else.

No The roast pork with mini dumplings (rubbery) and tough green beans is not recommended. Once, never again!

A great restaurant! The atmosphere is very inviting and lovely. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and competent. The food was also fantastic and we enjoyed it very much. We would come back here anytime!

A lovely small beer garden with a rustic atmosphere. A selection of typical local dishes and an extensive selection of drinks. Service was attentive and polite. We've been there several times. It's definitely worth a visit.

Top-notch service, the food was excellent and the quantity was perfectly adequate. The atmosphere was very intimate and cozy, with a rustic feel. The roast beef with onions was very, very good, as were the burgers and schnitzel. Overall, the restaurant is highly recommended.

We've been here many times; the food is always delicious, with hearty, typical dishes. It's beautifully decorated, and there's also a nice outdoor seating area. We always enjoy coming back. Since it's very popular and usually very busy, we recommend making a reservation.

Very friendly and fast service. The Limoncello Spritz was delicious, and the white sausage tasted excellent (with warm pretzels). Next time we'll try the cheese spaetzle because they looked so good at our neighbor's.

Im Urlaub war diese Brauhaus immer eine Anlaufstelle für uns, ein gutes Bierchen und deftiges Essen.In diesem Jahr gingen wir ca. 14Uhr zum Essen, bestellten Schnitzel mit Championrahmsosse, einmal mit Bratkartoffeln, einmal mit Pommes und Salat. Es wurde sehr schnell serviert, es waren allerdings kaum Gäste da. Die Sosse wurde separat, Pluspunkt, in einem kleinen, sehr kleinen, Minuspunkt, Schälchen serviert. In einem Schälchen war die Spsse sehr dick, allerdings kaum Pilze, in dem Anderen war die Sessel dünn wie Wasser, dafür mehr Material, aber geschmacklos. Wir waren nicht sehr glücklich, aber aßen. Als die Kellnerin kam und fragte, zeigten wir ihr das dünne, ich möchte es nicht Soße nennen, und bermerkten, das die Soße wohl zu Ende gegangen sei und der Koch den Topf mit Wasser nochmal geschwenkt hätte.Die Dame hörte uns leicht genervt zu und wollte in der Küche nachfragen. Als sie dann zurück kam, wurde uns arrogant erklärt, dass die Sosse in Ordnung gewesen wäre und immer so sei.Ich möchte nochmals sagen, dass meine fast zu dick gewesen war. Als wir bezahlt hatten, bekamen unsere Nachbar auch Schnitzel serviert, jedes wesentlich größer, als unsere Restschnitzel vom Mittagstisch, für 19.90. Auch meine Bratkartoffeln haben so gut wie keine Bratpfanne gesehen, kein Fett, keine Farbe, keine Röstaromen, kein Geschmack. Alles in Allem waren wir sehr enttäuscht, besuchten das Brauhaus mehrfach in den 10Jahren in den jeweils 3 Urlaubswochen, jetzt werden wir nicht mehr hingehen, Schade es kann immer mal was sein, aber man sollte seine Gäste bei Beschwerden ernst nehmen, wir kochen übrigens Beide sehr gut, so wird uns gesagt!!

The two of us went there and each had roast beef with onions. Top quality! The beer was also excellent. First-class service, very prompt, very friendly. If I'm ever in Konstanz again, I'd love to come back.

Service was not at all active even though the restaurant was empty. The salad was very good, but the schnitzel was greasy and tough, and the sauce was bland. The beer is brewed in-house, which wasn't my taste.

We were here for the second time, eating and drinking the homemade beer. We had the Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes and salad, and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very rustic. We came from Karlsruhe for the second time.

Very nice, classic brewery. We come here regularly and have never been disappointed. The beer, in particular, is an absolute delight. The service is friendly and prompt, and the kitchen prepares the food very quickly. Children are also welcome here. We will continue to stop by, even if it's just for a quick beer.

Bitte kein kantinenmässiges Anrichten, ansonsten lecker und ausreichend.

300g Weisser Spargel (minderklassierte, deutsche Ware) matschig weich gegart mit ein paar schrumpeligen Kartoffeln in Schale serviert, das für stolze 20€, dazu als Beilage 4 dünne Scheiben Schinkenaufschnitt, „garniert“ mit einem Salatblatt 8,5€ extra… das nenne ich miserables Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Das beste war das Bier gegen den Durst. Nie wieder!!

Food was ready quickly, even though the brewery was busy. It tasted great, cheese spaetzle unfortunately with a lot of cream, but still delicious ;)

Beer was great. Food zero points. Schnitzel deep fryer and fried potatoes not freshly made. No chef cooks here Once and never again!!!!!

We went here for a drink at lunchtime and ordered two Kaiserschmarrn. These came after about 5 minutes. That made me suspicious. In one portion the pieces were still cold at the bottom. Unfortunately, the Schmarrn was not freshly made (just thawed/warmed up?) and also not light and freshly sugared (caramalized on the edge) and as you would expect from a freshly made Kaiserschmarrn. I expected more in a brewery for around €10. The outside seating area was nice, but the inside looked quaint. The service was nice. Beer tasted good.

Quaint brewery with a pleasant atmosphere in the middle of Konstanz's old town. The in-house beers are freshly tapped and taste great - the light beer and the craft beer in particular impress with their character and balance. The dishes are classic, hearty and well seasoned. Particularly positive: The food came quickly, was hot and freshly prepared - exactly how you would want it in a brewery. The service was friendly, attentive and quick, even with a full house. Overall, a harmonious experience with solid cuisine, good beer and a pleasant atmosphere. Clear recommendation for everyone who appreciates honest brewery food and good beers.

Loveless and inexpensive system kitchen. Result: Better canteen food; to go a special mile without any claim. The guests are generally happy with it; you are now conditioned. Friendly, pleasant service and nice ambience.

The three of us were in this restaurant for the first time. Three Jägerschnitzel were ordered and they came very quickly. The fried potatoes were perfect (5). Overall the schnitzel was good, but it could have been a little thinner for my taste. Sauce came in a side container which was also great. Side dishes salad with dressing, nothing special but the taste was satisfactory. The service was OK, friendly but by no means exceptional. The ambience was very convincing. But what stands out most about the restaurant is its price-performance ratio. Large portions for a fair price 👍🏼

Drinks, ambience and service were great. We had a salad bowl, the vegetarian schnitzel and the small spaetzle with sauce. The bowl was tasty, the spaetzle and the sauce were very good, but I can't recommend the vegetarian schnitzel. For the first position on the map and for just under €20, I was expecting something special. Unfortunately there were only two thin frozen patties that weren't even good. Of course you can say "who eats something like that in a brewery", but I've eaten better ones from the supermarket myself.

No matter where I go, if I'm near Konstanz, this place is firmly on the list I'm completely in love with the copper beer and the ambience, the waitresses are absolutely top class, super friendly and at eye level There is no way around this for me

Wir waren erste mal im diesem Restaurant uns gefallen bequeme Tische reservieren online platz selbst auswählen können schöne Atmosphäre und gute Service, Essen auch auf unserem Geschmack gut gefallen ich empfehle weiter und gerne kommen wieder.

Das Brauhaus ist rustikal und typisch deutsch eingerichtet, was für eine urige und gemütliche Atmosphäre sorgt. Das Essen kam überraschend schnell und war wirklich lecker – deftige Hausmannskost, genau wie man es in so einem Lokal erwartet. Die Bedienung ist etwas forscher, aber insgesamt war der Service in Ordnung. Wer ein authentisches Brauhaus-Erlebnis sucht, ist hier auf jeden Fall richtig.

They brought our food without cutlery. There were no waiters in the room to whom we could ask for it. I had to wake up after 5 mins and go in another room to find a waiter. Never happened in my life.

Nice restaurant with a rustic atmosphere. Very good service. We really enjoyed the beer, we had the dark beer. There was also greaves and Obatzden in generous portion sizes, both with good taste.

Beim Wettbewerb um die schlechteste Küche in Konstanz liegt dieses miese Küche vorn,! Hier wird „ alt gekocht „ - nichts ist frisch! Der Rinderschmorbraten zäh unter einer undefinierbaren Sauce; die Schweinshaxe von vorgestern und schon fast ein Fall für das Ordnungsamt! Aufgewärmt als „ ofenfrisch „ serviert - eine Frechheit! Der „ Wildgulasch „ und die „ Käsespätzle „ Sie wissen schon…. Hier wird der Gast verarscht! Ein Trost, das Bier schmeckt!

I reserved a table for 3 people by phone and everything worked out great. Very nice service and the food was, as always, very tasty. Always happy. Everything went very quickly and the price-performance ratio is good. I can really recommend it to everyone.

The Missus and I along with our Canadian Westcoast cycling group had dinner and beers at the Brauhaus Joh.Albrecht in Konstanz. We enjoyed our schnitzels, wieners and beers. Our server provided excellent and attentive service. A nice delicious meal.

Excellent beer, food wasn't really my thing.

Das Bier und der Service waren gut, aber das Essen war schlecht. Ein kleines Schnitzel mit lieblosen Bratkartoffeln aus der Tüte und die Soße war ebenfalls ein günstiges Convenience Produkt. Der Salat mit Fischknusperli war ebenfalls langweilig. Für mich war das Essen auf dem Niveau einer schlechten Autobahnraststätte.

Wir waren zum Abendessen da. Das Restaurant ist schön eingerichtet, eben wie eine typische Brauhaus- Gaststätte. Sowohl Schnitzel als auch Knödel schmeckten uns sehr lecker. Getränke waren kalt und köstlich. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und würden wieder hierher kommen.

The sausage salad is bad, including far too little mountain cheese!! The request for more Berkäse could not be fulfilled. Service and beer, on the other hand, are top!

Cozy pub in the center of Konstanz. I drank a Messing beer for 3.90 euros, friendly service. I also wanted to have dinner there but I didn't have the opportunity.

Gutes, solides Essen...sehr netter Empfang am Silvesterabend mit einem " Gruss des Hauses" - ein Glas Punsch und Brot mit Knoblauchbutter.....es gab ein Silvestermenue, das wir aber nicht bestellten.....wir hatten Knödel mit Pilzrahmsosse und Salat und Schnitzel Jägerart mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat.....sehr gut zubereitet und das hausgebraute Bier schmeckte hervorragend dazu......die Tische standen nicht zu eng beieinander und der Geräuschpegel war eher leise.....das Brauhaus ist sehr angenehm und auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.....Kompliment an die Küche und an den Service, die das Essen super gemanaged haben.....

Leider ist die Bestuhlung sehr eng am Silvester gewesen.Es war so Laut das man sein eigenes Wort nicht verstanden hat.

Ich komme in dieses Brauhaus seit ungefähr 20 Jahren. Dieses Jahr wollte ich mit meiner Familie Sylvester in Konstanz zu verbringen. Somit gab es keinen Zweifel das wir im Brauhaus essen werden. Nach 2 stündiger Anreise waren wir wie bestellt um 21 Uhr im Brauhaus. Der Tisch wurde zugewiesen und man hat uns sehr freundliche empfangen. Da vor der Türe das mit bekannte Schild stand, Montag Haxe für 2 Personen inkl Pitcher, war klar was wir essen wollten. Früher hiess das mal Haxe satt, aber hier hat man wohl das Satt irgendwann verschwinden lassen. Wir haben die Speisekarte bekommen und meine Familie hat diese studiert. Da ich sie auswendig kenne, bzw. es klar war das ich mit unserem Mitreisenden Jungen Mann die Haxe nehmen würde habe ich die Karte nicht gelesen. Als dann unser Kellner die Bestellung aufnahm hiess es Haxe ist aus. Warum man uns das nicht bereits beim austeilen der Karte mitteilte ? Warum vor der Türe noch die Reklame steht ? Als Gast wird man da komisch, ich zumindest. Habe dann auf das Essen verzichtet. Meine Familie hat dann bestellt. Das Schnitzel hatte noch die hälfte der Größe vom Jahr davor. Pommes waren reichlich. Ketchup Majo wurde nicht angeboten. Die Knödel Variante war laut meiner Frau schmackhaft. Die Käsespätzle waren sehr gut , aber glücklicherweise hat das unser jüngste genommen, er braucht nicht so viel. Alles in allem, hat das Brauhaus sehr nachgelassen. Das Essen ist noch gut, aber die Portionen wurden den Preisen nicht wirklich angepasst. Am Sylvester Abend waren wir auch dort weil wir schon vorbestellt hatten. Das Sylvester Menü war gut , der Rostbraten mit Spätzle schmackhaft. Das Schnitzel dieses Mal wieder 1/3 größer und meine Frau war auch mit ihrem Lachs zufrieden. Der Kellner fragte nochmal nach ob ich keinenHaxe wollte, die gäbe es an diesem Abend. Die Bemerkung hätte er sich sparen können. Das Brauhaus hat sehr nachgelassen, für jeden der es so lange kennt sofort bemerkbar. Evtl. Kann es mich ja mal wieder überzeugen

Es ist eine typische Gasthausbrauerei. Das Bier ist frisch und lecker, zurzeit gibt es ein feines Winterbock. Die Speisen sind gewohnt deftig, schmecken aber lecker zum Bier.

Die Bedienung hatte schlechte Laune, hat sichmit dem eigenen Personal nicht verstanden,und dassvor der Kundschaft . Und voralem können die Gäste nichts dafür,ich finde die Bedienung macht sehr viel aus ,sicher den Größten Teil.

It's a mystery how a restaurant treats its customers as a huge inconvenience can stay in business. It's not like the food makes up for the atmosphere, like an army mess hall where the servers are all unhappy draftees. The spaetzel was extremely bland. I ate about half my very large serving of schweinhaxe (overcooked) and kraut (admittedly delicious) and asked for a box to take the rest home. The server whisked it back to the kitchen where it was thrown away, the server telling me that it was only bones. You'd be better off choosing any old German restaurant in Konstanz at random.

Beer is excellent and the price to quality value is very much fair! Pumpkin beer was the craft beer we had in this place during fall season — it was excellent. We all ordered the German classics and I got the pork knuckle which was very tasty. It came with sauerkraut which balanced the fattiness of the meat on the knuckle. Server was very attentive and was always making sure we were having a good time. Ambience was also unique in that the brewery is bare and you can see it as you have your fine dish. Will definitely return!

Thursday - schnitzel day! 🤩 The selection on the schnitzel menu leaves nothing to be desired. The sauce could be a little more and the fried potatoes a little less mushy and crispier. The price is okay, the service gives the impression that winter has already set in…

I had a beef rollade with some spaetzle and cabbage...soooo... The shutter was just 7 centimeters long...Price 27.90...that's a joke...I won't go back in to eat...the beer is great...Brauhaus just...🤗
