Typical German food from the region with authentic beers. I went already several times with a booking a without and I had every time a good moment. I will definitely go back when someone is visiting me in Konstanz.

Just as you'd expect from a proper inn! We were served by a very friendly server. We got a table for four without a reservation.

I went there twice on October 28th and was very impressed both times. For lunch, I had the Fädlesuppe (a type of pasta soup) and Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle), and for dinner, the Würzfleisch (a type of stew) and Zwiebelrostbraten (roast beef with onions). In the evening, there were five of us plus a toddler, and everyone was very impressed with the atmosphere, the service, and the food.

We absolutely loved it! Prices were great! 👍👍👍 There's nothing to complain about! 👍👍👍 We'll definitely be back! 😁😁😁

I would have really liked to give it 5 stars. The food is excellent, the conservatory is beautiful and cozy. The service, however, was fast and very efficient, but at the same time unfriendly and cold. We were always greeted with an unfriendly and arrogant expression. We didn't feel welcome. That shows how important the human element is in a restaurant. Hopefully, things will change.

I really like Bavarian food. There were a few items on the menu that I ordered, but not what I ate in Bavaria: -Obazda-the cheese was good but served with black bread-not with pretzels. When I woke up they brought me 2 cold pretzels. -knuckles-the meat was well done but a bit tough (the pork was more mature than usual). -The rest of the food was excellent. Especially: -weisswurst -empire salad -pancakes with applesauce -ravioli -desserts The service from the waitress Anna was excellent.

It has a relaxed village atmosphere. It feels like it changes at night. The food was very good, highly recommended.

Beautiful restaurant right on the Seerhein. A large beer garden, but also cozy inside. With a large fireplace in the center. Delicious food, with a changing daily special depending on the season. The Helle restaurant is one of the best in Konstanz and very reasonably priced for Konstanz prices. Kids aren't left out either, with food and a playground in the summer!

Unfortunately, the vegetarian selection has gone very poorly. Bring back the potato schnitzel!

Very loud, as a single person you're ignored and placed at the bar. The food is okay, but not overwhelming, more like it's slapped on the counter like you'd find in a cheap cafeteria. The staff are completely overwhelmed.

The schnitzel arrived two minutes after ordering. Service was incredibly fast, like in a cafeteria, and so was the schnitzel, which was as good as the ones in school cafeterias! Is this a restaurant? The waiter was polite and friendly.

During a week-long stay in Konstanz, I visited the inn twice and was satisfied both times. The food came quickly and the service was very good. It was quite noisy due to the building's construction, but overall, it was okay.

Beautifully situated on the water. Very popular, but so large that even without a reservation, we still found a nice table. A salad and a platter with various meats and cheeses were more than enough for dinner for two.

Food won’t blow you away, but this place is the definition of consistency. If you like the food, you’ll like it every time. It’s always served quickly and efficiently, and in a very beautiful location, in summer and in winter. Great for big groups, where even tables with 20+ guests are served all together, without having some guests waiting to eat while everyone else has finished. Overall, I’m happy to come back every now and then.

After our bike ride, we spontaneously stopped at the inn for lunch. We got a table outside without having to wait. The selection of dishes was very good. The schnitzel was really delicious, the potato salad a bit bland. The roast pork was very tender and very tasty, but unfortunately, the meal was served quite cold. The service was very good and quick. However, we wouldn't come here again for food. It was okay, but for the price, you can get better food elsewhere, and it's served warm. There's plenty of space for bicycles in front of the inn, but unfortunately, there are a few bike racks missing.

We had a pork knuckle and the fried chicken salad. The fried chicken was very juicy. Eleni was very attentive, and everything arrived on time, even though it was very busy.

Best veggie burger yet! The patty was large, juicy, and didn't fall apart like it often does. The food arrived surprisingly quickly despite the busy schedule. The view of the Rhine completes the ambiance; we'll be back.

Very nice establishment located on the banks of the Rhine, magnificent setting! The cuisine is excellent for me a pine forest beef with spetzel and for my wife and her sister duo of fish sucks with fennel excellent! Too bad the glass room is very noisy! A very pleasant atmosphere in the winter garden and first-class service. The schnitzel was unfortunately quite dry, but the pork cheeks and dessert were excellent.

Unfortunately, the schnitzel wasn't cooked as one would expect from such a restaurant. Otherwise, all the dishes were recommendable.

We really enjoyed it after a day of being tourists, arriving here right at sunset. It made us smile, relax, and enjoy the beautiful spot by the lake. We loved what we ordered, and if you're passing through Constanz for an afternoon, you have to spend it there. I'm leaving you with some photos.

I don't recommend the Kaiserschmarrn. It was like sloppy pastry. The service was unprofessional. When we came in, we weren't greeted. The waiters often just stood behind the counter on their phones. We won't be back. It's a shame!

Very tasty dinner in a pleasant atmosphere!

We were there with a group of 30 people and had a limited menu to choose from. Nevertheless, there was something for every taste. The food arrived quickly, even though the entire terrace was occupied. The service staff were always courteous and prompt. Therefore, it's highly recommended for groups.

We often went to the pub when we had visitors from out of town. We used to love it, so we've already celebrated a baby shower and our child's baptism here. Unfortunately, the service has declined dramatically in the last year. You no longer feel welcome; sometimes you're ignored. You have to wait a long time to even place an order, and then no one even comes to pay. The food ranges from quite good to absolutely not recommended, depending on the dish. Eventually, you figure out what not to order. In the beer garden, there's a "dirty box" (they call it a sandbox). It's full of broken and sometimes dangerous toys. The sand stinks and is full of gravel. There's trash everywhere in the beer garden, especially along the perimeter. Old Haribo packets that haven't been there for a day, or plastic bottles that have also survived last winter. Unfortunately, all of this has now led to us not being able to celebrate our upcoming wedding like we do our other celebrations at the pub. There are far better restaurants in Konstanz with friendlier service and a more pleasant atmosphere. You can also enjoy the setting much better on a stroll along the Rhine.

We visited the Constanzer Wirtshaus yesterday and were completely impressed. The food was high-quality, very tasty, and served super quickly. The service was consistently friendly and attentive. The cleanliness and the entire location are also top-notch. The terrace with a view of the lake is particularly beautiful—a real highlight. We would love to return if we have the chance and can wholeheartedly recommend the Wirtshaus.

The restaurant is nice, but the service terrible. We waited 20 minutes the check, and tried to pay twice with card and the posnet did not work. Therefore I payed with cash (I recommend everyone to bring cash, just in case). The food is okay, and the beer is authentic from this brewery. If the service were better, I would put 4 stars.

Great atmosphere and good service but the food is not great. The Schnitzel is clearly frozen trash, mashed potatoes had no taste, meat was bland and cheap. I don’t understand how this place has 4.4 stars. Would realistically think this should be a 3.4-3.6 overall.

The only good thing here is the location. Unfortunately, the rest isn't worth the money... The service isn't great, the food, for example, isn't fresh, but frozen, etc. However, the price is high. Another visit is out of the question for us.

Great restaurant, delicious food, generous portions, and a fantastic view! The service was excellent, very friendly, and the food was top-notch! The wait wasn't long, and the view directly onto the Rhine is truly beautiful. In good weather, you can watch the many boats, canoes, and stand-up paddleboarders passing by.
